Opinions de Maria's Italian Kitchen Los Angeles
I was made a very hard research of restaurants to go in for my birthday dinner. And to choose Maria’s Italian kitchen was the best decision ever made!! The atmosphere, the food, the professionalism of the workers , all was on the high level! I’m very picky for such things, because I’m European and without a slightest hesitation I can recommend this restaurant to everyone!! It was warm inside and they even made a present canoli to me and sing happy birthday! Pastas were very delicious! The additional few words about the waiter - he was amazing, professional, friendly, attentive to details! Love love love !! ❤️ thank you
We went here for our anniversary! And they went above and beyond. The food was so good! I was thinking about the food for days after! And then I realized I had left my wallet there. I called and they agreed to ship it to my house. They let me know the tracking number and when I asked if I could pay for shipping they said to not worry about it. They also made it so that I had to sign for it which shows how much they cared that it went to the correct person. They went above and beyond. I’m so thankful that I don’t have to get replacements on everything and that my anniversary lunch continues to be a good memory instead of a sour one. Thank you Maria’s for keeping my wallet safe. And thank you for the delicious food!
Came back again and enjoyed our delicious meals and great service. Tried a different dessert, apple crumble pie with a side order of ice cream. Oh my, what an incredible treat, a piping hot apple crumble pie. Delicious! ************ First time coming to this restaurant. Was seated right away. We just love the casual fine dining atmosphere. Both the service and food were great. We will definitely come back.
We have been going here for several months now, in 2 or 4 people, and once a month in a group of 15 to 20 and always the service is excellent, and the selection on the menu is very large, but the food is prepped excellent and quality is very good.
Great pasta! The family ordered, their house made meatball pasta, chicken parmigiana, eggplant parmigiana, and spicy shrimp pasta. Everything was great, calamari was ok. The garlic bread was excellent. Fast service, friendly staff, would recommend
Maria's Italian Kitchen exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the service was top-notch—every server, even those not assigned to my table, went above and beyond to ensure my experience was seamless. My food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious, capturing authentic Italian flavors that were both hearty and refined. I was also impressed by how accommodating the staff was, flexibly adapting to make my lunch and light co-working session during the holidays enjoyable. It’s easy to see why they’re award-winning; this was genuinely the best restaurant experience I’ve had all year. Kudos for making my day today.
It's a nice little Italian spot, an intimate setting but still a good place for a large party. Went before late afternoon and it was quiet. Our waiter was friendly. Ordered the spaghetti arrabbiata and it was really good, especially with some sausage added to it. If you are in need of some good Italian food, this is the spot for you here. And if you're looking to take a special someone out to dinner, this place will do. Also, there is an outdoor patio to enjoy your meal.
Wicked good food, exceptional service. Clean and modern Italian restaurant. We took our 110 yr old aunt for her birthday. She had pizza and a beer lol. The lasagna was to die for. It was a Tuesday lunch and not too busy! Highly recommend.
From the beginning, the service was excellent , Coming from San Diego and finding this Gem was wonderful, got here at almost closing time , but was still treated great , and with a great waiter / Joel Who gave us the best service I have had in a while Thank you for the best service, great place to visit when in LA area .
It’s a nice cozy restaurant that would be good for dates, lunch with coworkers or a solo dinner as well. The waiter was great and food was delicious! The bread basket is only $1
It was like family and walking into your Nonna's kitchen. The food was great, the service was wonderful, the history shared was so perfect. I couldn't wait to share my experience with my Dad. Counting the days until I can go back. ❣️

I had the garlic knots which were good but I didn’t taste much garlic, a side salad (chopped), and the spaghetti with meatballs. The spaghetti sauce was nice and tangy and the meatballs was tasty and not too dense.
Delicious for chicken Parmesan seafood pasta Primavera. The list goes on and on service with Chris was beautiful. We didn’t even notice him except when he was needed. He was a perfect server. The food was outrageously tasteful Oh my God I love the food there I’ve been going to Maria since the original one up in Brentwood, where the father was there and the son Donald I’ve enjoyed Maria’s food for decades now and I will continue doing so if you have a case for authentic Italian cuisine go to Maria’s thank you
We just happened to find this lovely traditional Italian restaurant. My Chicken Marsala was great. My partners Italian Sausage Pappardelle was good but very spicy hot. The tiramisu was delicious and very light. And our waitress, Katie, was friendly and helpful. It was a great find for us. We had a very relaxed and enjoyable meal there and would definitely go back when in the area.
After a long day of looking for a GOOD Italian restaurant to enjoy we stumbled upon Maria’s Italian Kitchen. We got the Alfredo and Pink Sauce pasta. BOTH WERE DELICIOUS!! Our server Joel was among the nicest and hard working people we’ve met here in LA. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT ESPECIALLY JOEL!!! 💙💙💙
David and his Team catered both of our LA offices lunch and it was fantastic! They were able to handle a high volume order, delivered on time to two locations, hot fresh and delicious. Highly recommend Maria's for all your catering needs.

Great place for 13 or more groups. Book the patio. It is covered and decorated for the holiday. The food is always good and diverse for vegan or meat lovers.

So, in one week I went twice during lunch. First time by myself. I was told to take any seat. I just saw two people near the bar in a small booth and so, I picked a booth behind them. I literally waited about 15 minutes until I finally said to one of the staff members “Can I have a menu and get a drink? “ He said to me oh, I thought you were just here waiting for food. No, I wasn’t there just waiting for food. Why wouldn’t you ask someone if there ok when you’ve seen them walking by numerous times? Anyways,he takes my order. I ordered a chicken marsala bowl. It’s a lunch special. Let me just say that the chicken was not tender at all. The flavor was not really there. I make it way better! Two days later, two of my colleagues were like hey let’s go to Maria’s. They have good burgers. I said, why would you go to an Italian place for a Burger? Anyway, needless to say, I thought I would give it another chance. We were told again to sit wherever we like. Again, we waited like 15 minutes before anyone came. Drinks pretty much came out the same time as the food. This time I ordered chicken piccata bowl. Crazy as it may seem the same server was serving us for lunch. He says to me “ Yes the chicken piccata that’s my favorite.” Maria’s chicken piccata is…Not my favorite. It’s supposed to be late. Buttery teeny bit of salt at least in the flavor of the sautéed chicken, but there was none of that it was bland. Anyway, needless to say my experience here, at this particular, Maria’s location is not great. I would give them out of all of their locations probably a three. As a viewer and what I see to all details Service is slow and they talk to much to one another instead of the patrons. Will not be coming to this location again! Don’t recommend at all!
Great food but sadly the service of this place has gone down. I've been coming to this location for 20+ years and yes the food is always delicious but past few times I've gone either for lunch or dinner service has been slow. Find it sad that we are paying for a service yet we have to get up to go and ask the waiter for salt/pepper or a glass of water because barely anyone comes to check. I'd rather get takeout from here then dine-in. Hopefully the service improves in time for the holidays.

Once seated, I smell something like the smell of a homeless person. I was like there's no way. I even thought that maybe I step on something. Food was okay. Nothing special. Except for their meatballs. It was soft and good. While eating our chocolate molten lava, a homeless person comes in. I don't know if the owner is being nice and feeding him and letting him use the restroom to shower. If they do, so kind of them. But I lost my appetite cause the smell was strong. About to throw up eating the dessert. I was going to use the other other restroom. But toilet seat was full of pee everywhere. Maybe we just got unlucky and they aren't like this every day but I would never come back. Server was nice though

Just had the worst experience at Maria’s kitchen on Pico Blvd. First of all, initially David the manager had promised me to rent me the patio for $600 minimum on food and beverage for our holiday event there. Later, Kerry the other manager said that amount is $1000 which I agreed ro for certain menu items we agreed on. During the event apparently they had lost the menu we had agreed on and only brought 4 items of the 9 items agreed on and when I complained, Kerry who by the way was very rude and unpleasant said they would be extra charge which was not our agreement at all. I paid over $1000 for 2 bland salads and even more bland tasteless pastas. A complete waste. Will definitely never go back here.
