M and R breakfast burrito was top notch 10/10. It had the perfect tater tot crunch, bacon was fresh, sausage and egg was cooked to perfection. Burrito also had a bit of spicy kick to it. Tortilla was good tasting and not over cooked, a fluffy flower taste. Enough avacado to taste it. Size of burrito was definitely filling. Price was a bit higher than expected, at $24, not including tax but worth it for the flavor. Ambiance was great, slightly rustic style, with 1980s hip styled music. On a monday morning, parking was easy, parked right in front for a quarter which gave me 50 minutes. Definitely recommend. Servers were attentive.
I got the Cajun chicken with rice pilaf and steamed vegetables! It was very good. Good sized portions and flavorful chicken. Great service!!!!
Hit it out of the park! Food was delicious, had the breakfast burrito, with bacon. Had a nice balance of flavors and a great crisp to each bite. The burrito had just a flair of spice, which went well with it. Sat at the bar, and my coffee cup never got more than half empty. 10 out of 10 would return!
Looking for a dine in place with breakfast pancakes. Found this place and very happy. Quality food along with great attentive service. Restaurant was able to make my Blueberry pancakes 🥞 delicious. The mimosas are on point 👌🏼. The restaurant is near Westwood and Ohio. South of Wilshire. Bought a bottle to go. Coffee ☕ 🍻
A very nice diner type restaurant. I got the French dip sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. They have a great selection of Harney and Sons teas. I went for lunch and the food was very quick! Nice atmosphere, pretty quiet, with Credence Clearwater Revival and the Monkees playing in the background
A delicious diner in Westwood. It’s been open since 1967, and has a lot of history associated with it. It’s very large on the inside with many different seating options. Inside is designed like a traditional retro diner, which I personally love. We were able to be seated right when we arrived and service was very fast. They don’t have a dedicated parking lot so it will be metered street parking. They have a very large menu filled with all the American diner classics. For my first time I chose the Chili Omelette Supreme and honestly really loved it. It was a very large omelette filled with a very meaty chili and it really hit the spot. The avocado on top was a great addition. We also tried the traditional breakfast, and the pancakes were especially good. Overall a really solid diner option in a nice part of town. I would recommend to any breakfast fan and I plan to be back in the future to try more dishes.
Came to Santa Monica for my 30th birthday with my husband, daughter, and brother. On the way back home we decided to stop and eat here. It hit the spot! So so good! Everything fresh and homemade! Excellent service & family friendly! Plenty of food choices to pick from! They won’t disappoint!
Mary and Robb's robbed my heart. Easily the best place for brunch if you are at or near Westwood. The waiters/waitresses are incredibly kind and lively. There was no wait when we arrived at 11am. The food was fantastic. Felt like a home cooked meal. My one caveat was the price of the mimosas but I will still return! Go to it!
RECOMMENDED: We went for a Saturday breakfast and we found this place. Crowded of people and they served us very nicely. The waiters and staff they were so nice. The food was amazing and we had a very good time there. I recommend this place for breakfast or brunch. :)
Had breakfast delivered. This place has the best packaging for delivery. Vented containers allow the food to arrive crispy not soggy. Everything was sealed, no worrying if someone ate a ff. The food is very good, large portions and great coffee.
Excellent service with all smiles! We arrived early on a Saturday morning, 8:30am. The restaurant now has indoor seating with permanent plexi glass dividers. All the staff wear masks and face shields. All customers must show proof of vaccination with IDs. I thanked them for this! We ordered two different scrambled egg dishes. I ordered the Turkey sausage and my friend ordered the Garden Scrambled. Utensils were presented in sealed paper bags. Ketchup, salt and pepper arrived in individual packets. My pot of tea was looseleaf and perfect. We paid for our meal at our table. The server came with a handheld credit card machine. It was easy and fast. I will definitely return here again! I suggest arriving early so you can get a table inside, if you want. Outside seating is available on their sidewalk. Free street parking until 10am on Westwood Blvd.

Awesome place that has been around since the 50's. Food is good, and the place is a vibe. Shout-out to the super attentive waitress girl Gemma, you're awesome!

The other week I visited the Westwood Cafe and was impressed by how professional the staff were, they greeted me promptly and explained the menu options with clear detail. The service was consistently attentive, and the staff coordinated smoothly even during a busy lunch rush. Overall the experience felt polished and welcoming, which made the meal even more enjoyable
Very cute vibes! A classic diner vibe with great brunch and lunch options you don’t find as often. I enjoyed the pancakes, very fluffy!
This diner was right up my alley! Had two eggs over easy with corned beef hash and tomato slices with sourdough toast. Very tasty breakfast and great service!

This cafe has been our favorite place to eat for 30 years. It has consistently fresh & delicious food, dedicated personable staff that treats us like family, a large menu of creative dishes, and completely responsive to customize your orders. They make the best steak fries in LA, fabulous salads (the Ultimate is my fav and I sub blackened salmon for chicken), chicken kabobs are excellent, their salmon wrap is amazing). They have some booths but can also rearrange tables for groups. They’re open all day 7 days a week and their prices are reasonable.
Casual and homey vibes. Breakfast burrito was pretty good but needed more flavor (had to drench it in hot sauce), and sadly the hashbrowns were not great. Would come back for the wonderful pancakes though, get the short stack and ask for mixed berries on top! Friendly service too, our server was very accommodating of our 7-person party.
First time here but will keep coming back. Great brunch menu. Must go if you around Westwood.

Food was good! Love this place
The restaurant is old which made it have an old time feel with the way it was styled/decorated, which was cool. The server was not friendly but got the job done. The food was ok.
Went there for dinner. Large place with only two tables occupied. Found the dining areas with different collections of decorative plates sort of whimsical. Seated immediately. Host was friendly. Waitress was largely nonexistent. Water only refilled when another group arrived and asked for water. Got a milkshake. $12 and tasted like old crystallized ice cream. There were small chunks of ice in it. Rest of the food was ok, nothing special. Odd 2x5 inch carrot slice as a garnish.
I went here years ago and was not crazy about it. Living in the area, I decided to give it another try. After today, I will never go back. I ordered the “house-made” corn beef hash. It was canned hash (likely Hormel) that an intolerable amount of salt was added too. It was served with cold sliced tomatoes on a soggy, discolored leaf of lettuce. And I ordered a french toast combo to go for my daughter. The menu stated that it came with two slices of french toast when in fact it came with two half slices of french toast. And the turkey sausage was cooked to a crisp that had a grainy appearance, making it very unappetizing. Then, while the wait staff were nice, they were slow and never checked back to see how the food was. Very disappointing.

Food was good but terrible service. The young blonde waiter was rude with my wife and I, almost disrespectful. We will think twice about going even though we live across the street.

Never left such a bad review before but this place had the worst food I’ve ever had. Maybe their other food is good, but they should have taken off the salmon burger off the menu if they can’t make it. The salmon tasted like cat food. I couldn’t take more than 2 bites out of it without fearing I’d vomit. There was no sauce at all in the burger, or either section of the bread. I asked for bbq sauce but it didn’t help at all. It was $23 for nothing. Should have had a pancake or something. I enjoyed their tater tots. My partner got lox scrambled and he didn’t like it either but it was waaaay better in comparison. For their prices I hoped the food would be good, at least mid, or even edible. Had a side bagel with cream cheese instead.
