Tender Greens has a lot going for it. The food is fresh, service is friendly, and the ambiance is clean and welcoming. I especially liked the variety of healthy options on the menu. Portions are generous, but the price feels a little high compared to the portion size. Still, it’s a great spot I’d go back to.

The food is very tasty and lots of different vegetables are provided. Highly recommend that if you are looking for something on the healthier side (not processed), that punch a great taste! Service was nice, where food was brought to the table. I can see this chain is quite popular with takeaway and it is a shame the layout of the interior looks a bit "fastfood" when in reality the interior could be furnished with live plants and changing the layout of it all!

I used to love Tender Greens. It was one of our favorite places to eat when we were in L.A. I hadn’t been here in a few years, and oh, how this restaurant has changed—and not in a good way. I had a California salmon bowl, and it was below mediocre. Not a high quality fish, and the other ingredients didn’t seem very fresh. My husband’s mashed potatoes were made from partially re-hydrated potatoes. The overall flavor was “meh.” This used to be such a wonderful, farm-to-table style restaurant, but now I think I could get a better meal at any other fast-casual bowl restaurant.

Tender greens are good 👍🏻, for longest time love their salad. But this DTLA location needs a bit improvement regarding customer service. Paul, one of the restaurant manager needs to loosen up a bit. No need to be rude or ignore customers, smile a bit. I came in this place around 1:20pm so less rush hour for lunch. The place was not even packed nor busy, other than that I still like their salad, except for that one person. The cashier was nice and even other servers.

The food is inconsistent, hit or miss, and overpriced for the portion sizes you get. Placed two orders of steak salad and fish sandwich. The steak itself tasted great but the vegetables sides were paltry and not fresh. The fish sandwich was just horribly dry and tasteless. I’d not try it again.

Ordered lunch with my office. I wanted the falafel sandwich and was told they don't have that. So I went with the chicken sandwich. Wasn't terrible but won't order again. The bun was burnt, barely and slaw and the chicken was soggy! Also looked like they somehow breaded white meat and dark meat together because half my sandwich was dark meat and half was white meat. All their other dishes did say that it was both white and dark meat. However the sandwich did not mention either. Had I known it was white and dark meat I never would have ordered. Overall just disappointed and had to find something else for lunch

Featuring Thai salmon salad currently. Light taste, salmon is juicy and perfectly cooked. The almond blueberry cake was sounding promising, it indeed had a rich almond taste; but tasted too artificial and was dry. As a point of critique, one of the not so green things are the little half & half disposible plastic containers that I received with my tea.

I used to visit L.A. twice a year (leisure) before COVID. At least one and frequently two meals would be at a Tender Greens Location. DT, Culver City, Pasadena, Hollywood, San Diego, etc.. Always found it to be exceptional quality at a good price. Made my first trip to L.A. since COVID this past weekend (trip was great). Tender greens was terribly disappointing. I don't know what they did to get the fried chicken to go from excellent to inedible, but they succeeded. And partially reconstituted mashed potatoes... Gross. The arugula salad was at least reminiscent of what it once was, but I won't make this choice again. The staff was generally inattentive and lackadaisical as well. It's a shame. A loss for sure.

David's friendly and the food smelled great inside the restaurant and the restaurant was clean and tidy. The staff had no knowledge of what they had on hand for food and delivery of what they had and their menu. I tried to order a bacon cheeseburger and the only bacon they had was bacon bits from a salad to put on the cheeseburger, I also asked for it. Well done. It wasn't, and The taste was really odd. Didn't taste right so I didn't eat it. My son wanted the order ribs and they've informed us they didn't have ribs yesterday. They didn't get them in today and they weren't getting them in tomorrow so we couldn't have any ribs. So he ordered the fish and the fish wasn't cooked all the way through. It was slightly undercooked. For the amount of money we paid around $50 to $60. The experience and the food was not worth anything more than $20 $25

I am very disappointed with the falafel wrap I had at this location. I tried it for the first time in Manhattan Beach last week and it was delicious, so I was excited to have it again. However, the wrap here (DTLA) was cold and stale. I am not sure what went wrong. I requested a refund and received it, so points to them for that. The Manhattan Beach Tender Greens location has set the bar very high. Lol. I'll stick to going there.

This branch is absolutely disastrous. Wrong side and wrong preference (no cheese) and it took 20 minutes to get the food.

Their service sucks. It takes forever to give us food and I had to multiple time to ask them. It took more than 30 minutes for lunch and then they didn't had silverware. We had to wait for that.

Extremely disappointed. Would not recommend ordering this via delivery!!!! Save yourself the headache. This is the second time my husband and I have ordered from Tender Greens Downtown LA via Uber Eats, and both times our dinner was wrong. About a week ago, my mashed potatoes were missing. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and try them out again. Today, my salmon was completely missing! ‍ replaced with a random ketchup packet in my plate instead (see image). After a long day at work, this is beyond frustrating. My husband spoke to someone named Tatyana I believe (think the manager was too busy to speak), and the only solutions offered were: Drive over and pick up the salmon myself (the whole reason I ordered via Uber Eats is because I couldn't pick it up, plus we already paid a delivery fee so how does this benefit us? ), or "Possibly" refund just the salmon portion. You would think they'd refund the whole plate for the inconvenience and THEIR mistake?? leaving me with having mash potato and veggie for dinner now. To me that's poor customer service and shows how little they care about the mistake that they made. Tried to give them a pass last time, but clearly nothing has improved. The food arrives cold and missing main items. Will not be ordering here again. (Pictures attached for reference.)
