Opinions de Nice Coffee Los Angeles
Amazing coffee shop! After I tried it want it to have it everyday! Sadly for me I only went for a weekend and they don’t open Sat-Sun :(
The staff there are really friendly, service is quick, and I received a promotional offer for $5 off after my first visit. I ordered a lemon poppyseed pastry and an almond pastry. The almond pastry is to die for! Seating here is open air and good for people watching.i only ever have gone during the lunch hour, and there are lots of tables with and without umbrellas for small groups of two or four. It might be difficult to find shaded seating for a group during the lunch rush, though I didn't have any problems grabbing a seat under an umbrella when I dined alone nearby.
Coffee was just great. Went here twice and had very great cups and a great pastry. By far the best one in the area.
I have been a regular customer at Nice for at least five years. Getting my morning coffee here is always a treat, both for the impeccable coffee and for the customer service. The staff is warm, and the vibe is always light, even though they are working hard. They're located in a busy plaza in DTLA. They receive all kinds of customers and treat everyone well, and efficiently fulfill orders. I cannot speak more highly of Nice, the coffee, and the people that work there.
Very friendly and easygoing. Great experience, no issues at all.
This is a really good place to be having coffee anytime of the day. The baristas are really professional and know what they are doing in terms of coffee making. I really enjoyed all that coffee, especially espresso, which is very thick and rich with mama mia crèma. The location is also very good: right downtown Los Angeles and you can be enjoying the sun in the shed while enjoy your best coffee in the morning.
A rare find of a very good coffee in DTLA. Highly recommended!
The Vanilla Latte is delicious. My favorite thing is to walk down on my lunch break for a pick me up. The staff is friendly every time.
Best cold brew I’ve ever had! Incredibly smooth and absolutely no bitterness, and just the right amount of ice. Friendly, quick service, and a nice setting. Highly recommend!
Really cool shop with great coffee and beautiful deserts. Staff was super cool and they have random unique merchandise that’s funny/makes a statement. Bought two gifts for people I know because it was fitting, but more importantly original. Shout out to the cold brew and coffee cubes!
Really fantastic coffee and pastries, and staff was always friendly and energetcic. Found this place while on work travel, and after trying several other cafes in the area this was the hands-down BEST place to get a good coffee.
The beverage was aesthetically pleasing, and the taste was satisfactory. My primary purpose for visiting was to enjoy the scenic view and the serene, clean environment, which allowed me to work on my laptop while appreciating the calming sounds of the fountain.
Nice Coffee is nice indeed. The downtown coffee shop has a magic that I don't see in many downtown coffee shops: it slows people down. I don't mean that you have to wait for a long time to get your coffee, I mean this is a place where people, even office workers who are usually on a tight schedule, seem to enjoy spending some time at. The coffee shop is housed in a stand-alone structure in the center of City National Plaza. The shop has a neat, modern look with straight lines, steel beams and wooden counters. The shop leverages its central and easily accessible location by opening up all sides of the shop and providing plenty of seats, including a bar top on one side. When I first visited the shop one early morning, I saw someone in a suit eating his breakfast by the bar, chatting with the baristas while sipping an espresso. Another time I stopped by near lunch time, there was a little crowd around the shop and conversations were everywhere. The open air must give people who work in an office the real break they need. I have had good cappuccinos at Nice Coffee, and a refreshing hibiscus tea when I need something decaf. Service feels noticeably above the usual coffee shop experience, there is a friendly day-time bar atmosphere at Nice.
Some of the best coffee in downtown Los Angeles. It's normally pretty busy but they are quick to get you the morning cup of joe. High recommended
Ideal location if you want to have a light breakfast or afternoon drink. The morning you will be along the business folks rushing to office. You can get your drink served in nice ceramic cups, when facing the fountain with the waterfall sound you can enjoy a moment of relaxation. The coffee is a strong dark roast - morning boost - that call for something to eat with it. I enjoyed their Ham croissant. Very accessible from Westin hotel.
These guys know how to make those Parallel beans sing, especially for espresso-based drinks! Friendly, efficient staff. For a staple coffee kiosk for the office buildings, it’s very dedicated quality service. Been here a couple times and never disappointed by the atmosphere, or food. Surprisingly excellent poppy lemon seed Danish pastry. Bready, fresh, not too sweet or greasy. Would be back to try their other curious selection.
What a little gem this coffee shop is! I had a croissant and a lavender latte and OMG, so good! The baristas where really nice and there is outside sitting. Would recommend.
Macchiato was very good, but their drip coffee was also really good which made me surprised. They have some unique beans, too. If you are around and need a coffee or an espresso drink, this is the place!
As the name suggests the coffee is really nice. Ordered a Vanilla latte and a home brew I guess. Perfect coffee for my breaks. The crew is really nice and great hospitality. Would recommend to everyone who is a coffee lover and would like to explore the coffee places in downtown LA The place is next to the bus stop. So you can always enjoy one while waiting for your bus. They do have lightly baked items. Also offers milk substitutes in case you’re lactose tolerant like me. I believe they offer almond milk as well as oat milk. There is ample seating available and apart from that there are benches as well.
Great location if you work downtown. Lots of open air plaza searing around a lovely fountain. Prices and quality are pretty much the same as Louie's or Pitchou.
Ordered a latte and date pistachio bar. Both were delicious. Will be back.
Easily one of the best espressos served in DTLA. Latte was perfecto! Whole milk foam is thick & yummy. Situated in a lovely street side courtyard with sculpture fountain. An urban oasis. Love the morning walk to grab my first cup there !
Hip little outdoor cafe with divine coffee in downtown LA. Delicious pastries and snacks round out this amazing gem! A great choice if you are looking for a a mid-morning break or afternoon hang.

Simple success with a tiny footprint that reminds us good coffee, engaging service, and the right location make for a winning combination. A small menu with a couple of great breakfast burritos and handful of pastries that all hit the mark. On Flower between 5th and 6th streets is near ground zero for so many offices and of course across the street from the beautiful Central Library. Grab a hot latte, sit outside in ample seating shared with the below-ground food court beneath it, and chat or people watch as long as you can before you have to get back to the battle and bustle of your day.
Staff is very nice and friendly. Although this coffee stand gets busy, the line moves quickly. They also serve beer and wine after 3:00pm.
Best macchiato in Los Angeles, hands down! Friendly staff, great location, and fantastic drinks. Perfect for a little break downtown. Highly recommended!
Great coffee, good baked goods, love the music and vibes. Only negative is I didn’t see the full menu anywhere other than on the counter by the register.
There is a Nice coffee in a market near my house in Highland Park, and out of all the hipster coffee shops in HLP, Nice coffee is my favorite. Wanted to review for this one to drive some traffic, it’s the same coffee. Looking forward to stopping in at this one!

My barista buddies brought me here on s short coffee crawl the other day to see how their espresso pulls were. I myself got an iced coffee, which was smooth, rich in chocolate tones, and definitely worth the $4. From my friend creactions to the espresso it wasn't too bad, but there was an issue they noticed and brought it back to see if they could get a proper one. A small detail about the temperature which carried through to the flavor. The staff was great and made them a new one which was definiteky better. Definitely a great place to grab a cup, and for downtown not too pricey. The location is also really dope and provides a lot of interesting people watching opportunities. Parking though...well, it's downtown LA.
Cool little outdoor spot in downtown LA. I went with a friend, and it was like Cheers—the staff all knew him and they were super friendly. The prices are average. The cold brew was good, not super strong but good. They offer a couple of sammich offerings each day, changing the menu daily. It’s not ideal that they’re premise, the caprese was a bit soggy by noon, but it was good, with nice crusty bread, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, and fresh tomatoes that looked like heirloom. The courtyard is pretty shady by early afternoon, and even had a nice breeze when I was there. There are scattered tables with umbrellas, and counter seating by the work area and at a table in one side of the work area. There was a line through the early afternoon maybe 5 deep at any given time, which didn’t mean too long a wait.
Some of the best coffee in DTLA. A must stop for people looking for a great cup of coffee. Prices are good for the quality and taste.
Great coffee, cozy vibe, and friendly baristas!
4.5 stars. Amazing location. Get to see the beautiful skies behind the skyline. Plenty of outdoor seating and clean clean location. Latte art was awesome and coffee was great. I got a vanilla latte. Had a great convo w my friend. Will def come back to this spot.
We start every day in the office with a cup from Nice Coffee. Their shop is intricate in that they aren't a standard store that just opens and closes their doors, but instead they close their store by bringing down the walls. We are sure that sounds confusing, yet maybe intriguing, so I guess you will just have to go and see it for yourself. The store fits the vibe of the people that work there. They're all friendly and have their own unique personalities. The drinks and food they serve are the reason going into the office is more tolerable. Our boss thanks you for that.
Set in the middle of an open-air plaza you can't miss it. When the weather is nice it's a great place to sit outside and enjoy your coffee. Prices are on the steeper side but nothing outrageous, especially in the specialty coffee world where I find the average to be about $5. Usually a black coffee drinker I went outside my comfort zone for the vanilla latte ($4.50) at the insistence of my co-workers. Not surprisingly I found it to be sweet but not intensely so which is an endorsement coming from a no sugar, no cream person. I will definitely return to try my usual (black coffee) and see how it fares but if you're a vanilla latte fan I'd say go for it. The baristas are also super helpful and knowledgeable should you have any questions or special milk requests. I strongly suggest walking here. There is a parking lot underneath (no street parking) but I'm assuming the fees are high.
Cute coffee shop in downtown LA. Pretty fast service. The vanilla latte was okay, there was snow sugar free option. They also have alot of dessert options.

The coffee was good but the barista gave me side eye and huffed when I asked if there was nonfat milk. A simple no would have sufficed, they didn’t need to be so damn rude.
The vibe is great. Unfortunately, I got a cold brew and it tasted quite bitter. However, I’ll definitely go back and try another type of coffee and the food.

Coffee was strong, the place looks cool, but no Splenda (i dont care if you’re a hipster and only uses stevia, we’re not all into it) and the girl at the counter wasn’t that friendly. I wouldn’t come back.
Stopped in with my wife and another couple. I ordered an Americano, my wife got the Chai Latte, we split a Turkey and Pesto Sandwich. I was rung up for a cold brew, and two additional drinks I did not order, as well as my wife's latte and sandwich. I was in conversation with the group so I did not look to closely at the bill, my mistake. When my name was called there was an extra drink, just one, and I asked about it, I was told it was a mistake on their part so it was free for me. When I got back to the table I found out they charged me for the extra two drinks- only one of which we received but paid for both. It was water under the bridge by then but they pulled one over on me and wanted me to feel happy they did so. The Chai Latte was very underwhelming, like water she said, and my Americano was terrible. The sandwich was very overpriced for a sloppy and not very appealing sandwich. Take your business elsewhere, with so many coffee shops this one should step up its game in a big way or will not last much longer.
Coffee is good, but inconsistent. Also every time I come the baristas are unpleasant borderline rude.
This place is diabolically predatory and expensive if you get anything other than an unsweetened espresso-based drink with regular milk. I am talking $9-12 drink range for a 12oz cup. Syrup and alt milk are ridiculously priced. The barista just looks you in the eye as they total up the numbers. If you do get one of the drinks that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, the espresso is very chocolatey and a delight to drink. It is probably one of the best coffees in the area. Avoid their matcha because it has no flavor, is slightly grainy, and is significantly more expensive than competitors at this quality. You’ll get some fun discounts if you join the rewards program, but HAVE I MENTIONED everything is so expensive that it just becomes regularly priced. It’s also located in a cute outdoor space outside of a lot of offices, which makes it very suitable for yap and not to work if that was your intention.
