I had a great experience at H&H Brazilian Steakhouse. The atmosphere was very comfortable and the location is excellent. The highlight was definitely the meats and the buffet, with fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared options. The non-alcoholic drinks were also wonderful and complemented the meal perfectly. The service was outstanding from start to finish, with all staff members being welcoming, friendly, and smiling the entire time. I definitely recommend it and look forward to coming back! 🧡
We had the best experience here. This was our first time here and's Karen was especially hospitable. My fiancé and I were well taken care of. Everyone was attentive toward our needs and the ambience was really beautiful. 10/10, would definitely bring friends here to enjoy the amazing food.
Cannot express how grateful I am for my loved ones to bring me to my first Brazilian steakhouse to celebrate my 30th birthday. We came in the morning (reservation), therefore, we were the first ones. From service to food, chef’s kiss 😚👌🏽Very beautiful place and restroom lol They have a huge mirror to take a couple of nice selfies! As for parking come in a few mins earlier before reservation! They also do walk-ins from observation but I still prefer reserving.
The food was amazing! Our server Alissa was great. We went on our anniversary she brought us complimentary champagne bur since we dont drink, i asked her to bring me bubbly water for the same vibes and she did 😅 she kept coming back checking on us. By the end of the dinner if i say we were full, it would be an understatement. 10/10. LOVED IT! Also brought us a dessert at the end with happy anniversary on it ☺️ All in all very happy! And will definitely return
The service here was incredible. The manager and the entire team were so attentive, friendly, and full of great energy. They made me feel genuinely welcomed from the moment I arrived. It’s rare to find a place where the staff creates such a positive and comfortable atmosphere. Truly outstanding service — thank you to the whole team!
I visited on oct 31st for a company dinner. Since it was halloween, the staff were all dressed up in their own creative customes, which made the atmosphere really fun and unique. This was my third visit, and as always, both the serive and the food were excellent. My personal favorite is definitely the cheesy balls they're absolutely delicious!
I had my birthday here earlier this month and I had such an amazing experience. Not only were they accommodating but they allowed me to set up my own decor, they brought out my cake and champagne, they even allowed us to stay later than our expected time and didn't rush to kick us out. Many of my friends didn't even know about this place until I showed them and they all said the food was delicious and that they'll be back. Also, special shout out to Vincius, he was such a joy and thank you to Jessica for helping me set everything up. Thank you so much! <3
My husband and I had a great time. We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. The food was great and staff treated so special.
I visited H & H Brazilian Steakhouse for the first time last Saturday, and from start to finish, the experience was absolutely outstanding. The moment we walked in, the hostess greeted us with a warm smile. We were introduced to our server, Kiera, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. I ordered a passion fruit drink from the menu, and it was amazing, major compliments to the bartender 🙌 The manager, Vinicius, checked in on us multiple times. He was professional, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we requested. The gauchos were fast, efficient, and always with a great attitude. The meats were juicy and seasoned perfectly. Giovanni made sure we received every cut of meats we were looking forward to. She was very friendly and great personality. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Overall, my experience was truly pleasant, and I will definitely be returning.
Had our anniversary dinner here and everyone made it so special! Geraldine and Vinny were especially lovely and made us feel so welcome. Loved the food, particularly the picanha, but the service was truly exceptional.
We came to the restaurant on 12/20/25 - 02/09/26 and the experience was AMAZING! The food is wonderful, there’s a lot of options, the place is beautiful! And honestly, we are definitely coming back soon! It’s WORTH it. Highlights to Gabi, Augustin (for the drinks), Alissa (waitress) e Bruno (the manager) - amazing service (:
Stumble upon this place for an event. This place blew me away with their amazing food and service. Also, don't forget your drink because Gabby makes some killer cocktails. Thank you Gabby and Victoria!!! Definitely come back again!!!!
Danny was great and so were the rest of the service team! Food was tasty and the unlimited alcohol was perfect! 😍
I went on a first date with a very kind l, generous and beautiful man. He suggested this place and I was excited to try something new. I had recently went to Fogo de Chao and I was a little apprehensive because the food at Fogo wasn’t mind blowing for the price point. H & H Brazilian steakhouse literally blew my taste buds out of the water. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was intimate and serene. Gabby, Vinny, and Sophia took great care of us. We will come back again. You made our first date amazing.
Everything was great as usual. This is about our sixth or seven time and the experience, ambiance, and food was excellent. Even my picky family enjoyed it!! Pineapple was awesome, bacon was awesome, and of course the meat, was awesome. Recommend to anyone on the fence, even if parking is tough. Live coming to H & H. Shout out to our server Danny, all the gauchos, and another young lady that we all unfortunately forgot her name (Tara maybe? Brunnette). Awesome service throughout.
Gabi was absolutely amazing today. It was my first time here, and I immediately loved the vibe of the place — warm, welcoming, and relaxed. From the moment I sat down, she made me feel so comfortable. We connected right away, and she was so kind, attentive, and genuine throughout my entire visit. She went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience — she even helped me with the rewards program and made everything so easy and smooth. Her warmth and generosity truly stood out. It wasn’t just great service — it felt personal and caring. Thank you, Gabi, for making my first visit so special!
On a business trip and saw this place had good ratings. And wow! Amazing sushi! Some of the freshest / cleanest tasting sushi I’ve ever had. And a fraction of the price of many other places I’ve been to that aren’t nearly as good. I don’t know how every review to date isn’t 5 stars. This will be a must stop any time I‘m visiting LA.
Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Parking: 3/5 Family friendly: 3/5 Stroller friendly: 2/5 ADA accessible: 3/5 Pretty much all the food we ordered here was top-notch. Wifey and I ended up sharing the NOZAWA TRUST ME ($60) and then a la carte afterwards. Everything made was super fresh and super delish! Service was quick, friendly and even the manager ( I think it was the manager, she seemed like she really enjoyed her job!) i feel like that makes a huge difference to customers and sets the vibe on the place. Also, A BIG PLUS, THIS PLACE IS A NO TIP ESTABLISHMENT. Meaning, they probably pay they're employees a living wage. Kudos to Sugarfish for this. Only downside for me was the lighting ( intimate and dimly lit) which made it challenging to see the menu. Also, parking is challenging too. I highly recommend coming her if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed.
What an amazing experience! The ambiance was perfect, all the staff were perfectly conversational and engaging. I ordered the "Don't think. Just eat. Trust me." Accompanied with the extra dry sake. This place ruined me for sushi. It was so exquisite. Every piece was the best piece I've ever had. I had some great company at the bar who engaged me in conversation and then picked up my tab!
The food at Sugarfish is truly spectacular — fresh, perfectly balanced, and beautifully prepared. Every bite reminds you why this place has such a strong reputation. The service, however, didn’t match the quality of the food. We had to ask four times for extra ginger, and while the staff wasn’t rude, they also weren’t particularly warm or attentive. The restaurant is quite dark, so I’d recommend reviewing the menu online beforehand. Despite these shortcomings, the food more than makes up for it — still a solid five stars for the overall experience.
Sushi was amazing here, both rice and fish were made soft and tasty, some almost melting in the mouth The ordering on the set menu already considered the flavor science. Cozy and friendly. Also a plus, the restaurant uses a set fee that's very reasonable to replace tipping to smooth out the checkout experience
Excellent experience! The service was super fast and the food was incredibly fresh and delicious. We tried the “Don’t Think. Just Eat. Trust Me” set menu ($59 per person), which felt like a simplified omakase, everything was amazing except for one piece with a type of fish I personally didn’t enjoy. That said, the freshness and overall flavor were top-notch. The staff was extremely friendly, and we couldn’t have asked for better. For two people, without wine, our dinner cost about $150 including all the fees and taxes Highly recommend this spot for an special occasion
I took myself to lunch on a Monday and o was pleasantly surprised by both the efficiency and quality of this Sugarfish location. Being downtown, I expected to wait for a seat and for the food to take a bit to arrive but the staff was so quick and attentive. I opted to try the NOWZA TRUST ME so I could sample multiple plates and I was not disappointed. Each bite was fresh and incredibly flavorful. I also appreciated the attention to sustainability and education around fishing practices. I definitely recommend
I’ve had Sugarfish in Pasadena and it was as pretty good and this spot is just as good or better. I ordered “Don’t think, just eat” option and added about three different dishes that weren’t in my meal option. All the sushi pieces were ever fresh and delicious. The proportions are on point and the flavors are phenomenal. I’d definitely come back here again and try their other menu items. Overall it was we a solid dining experience. Parking is very limited & you’d be lucky to find some on the street or you can get nearby paid parking.
Hands down the best sushi I have eaten and I was extremely impressed. Also, excellent value for money. I was absolutely stuffed by the end of it. The crab hand roll and scallop sushi were divine. I am still dreaming about this meal and have told everyone! It will become a new tradition where every time I come to LA, I need to come and eat the Nozawa Trust Me set.
This is, without question, the best sushi restaurant I have ever visited. The tenets of nozawa style sushi as described on the menu absolutely ring true. The fish was phenomenal in texture and flavor - the salmon melted in my mouth like butter! The sake was also a great deal. My friend and I each had a Trust Me - I agree with the staff recommendation to have at least one of these. The entire meal was filling and an extremely fair price for a mini-omakase experience.

I’ve had H&H on my bookmarks to try for the longest time. I finally got to visit and celebrated a special occasion! Parking: street metered parking around this area of downtown LA. Valet is $17 in front of the restaurant, near Bottega Louie. Menu is à la carte. The H&H churrasco experience is $73 per person and includes unlimited meats, sides, and self-serve salad bar. I opted for the churrasco experience. I liked that they accepted requests. I took a picture of the menu and asked for the meats that didn’t come out yet. They had a nice list of cocktails and mocktails. Meats were overall pretty good. They had the grilled pineapple like at M Grill in koreatown! The salad bar selection was smaller but not bad. I liked the watermelon slices. The restaurant has several dining rooms. I saw the area in the back, and it seems like you can host events here with 20+ people.
I visited H&H Brazilian Steakhouse and went with the full Churrasco Experience — and it absolutely delivered. Every cut of meat that came around was flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. You can really taste the quality, and the variety keeps the whole experience exciting. The salad bar was another highlight. It had a wide selection of fresh options, classic sides, and authentic Brazilian flavors that paired perfectly with the churrasco. It truly felt like a genuine Brazilian dining experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm, welcoming, and perfect for a night out, and the service was exceptional. A special shoutout to Danny, who took amazing care of us. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything flowed smoothly throughout the meal. His service really made the experience stand out. Highly recommend giving H&H Brazilian Steakhouse a try if you’re craving authentic Brazilian cuisine and great service.
Very good sushi. I got the set menu course, everything was very fresh and delicious. Texture of the fish was very buttery. Only complaint was that the service in between dishes was too quick. I could hardly finish a course and the next one was already being brought over. In a few instances I still had half my previous course uneaten as the next one was brought to me. I would have appreciated a little more anticipation and a chance to sip my drink between courses
We come here often. We always have a great experience, however service was slow this time. We had to ask if our food was on the way, my friend’s food came a little later than mine when it’s supposed to be given together, and we were not offered refills on water. We still love this place - maybe this time was just a one off.
Tried the Don’t Think Just Eat Omakase, all the pieces were pretty good quality with nice warm rice. The ponzu is pretty sour and certain items come covered in it, so if you’re adverse to that flavor, you may want to request a different seasoning. I also was not a fan of the unagi, which was the finale, as it was really powdery. Overall, enjoy the atmosphere and the selection. Next time I will perhaps select the specific pieces I loved like the pink lobster, tuna cuts, and scallop!

The food was good although too many times the steak served was full off fatty chunks that were inedible. The service was barely acceptable. The guys that brought meat came around pretty regularly but we were never actually offered every meat listed in the all you could eat menu. I ordered 2 espresso martinis because they were busy. 30 minutes later I asked where my drinks were and 20 minutes after that I asked for a bottle of sprite hoping to get served something to drink. About 10 minutes after my sprite came they brought me my 2 espresso martinis plus a 3rd one free. I appreciated the gesture but the martinis weren’t very tasty as if they were watered down. Highly disappointed in the overall service. The servers were friendly but super slow and very irregular about visiting our table of 7 to check in on us. Won’t be coming back to this location. Maybe the one in West Hollywood at The Beverly Center might be better.
Came here to celebrate my wife’s birthday — it was her dinner choice, and we wanted to try something new. I’ve been to other Brazilian steakhouses before, but this was my wife and kid’s first experience at this type of restaurant. The host at the door was great, and our waiter was also excellent. The salad bar/buffet was solid. The meat selection itself had great cuts and good flavor — but something still felt off about the overall experience. The gauchos (the staff walking around with the meats) felt almost robotic. Very minimal interaction, almost like they were told not to talk to guests. When they did interact, it felt forced, which created an odd vibe — especially compared to other Brazilian steakhouses where the servers are usually energetic and welcoming. I asked one of the meat servers if we could get more ribeye. He acknowledged it, but never returned. Later I asked the host, and again it was ignored. That made me feel like if someone asked for a well-done cut — like my wife would prefer, since she doesn’t like seeing the red juices — it might get the same type of response. Requests just didn’t seem encouraged here. They were mostly serving medium-rare and medium-well cuts, which I personally enjoy. But the service flow and attentiveness didn’t match the quality of the meats. Overall, we still enjoyed the night and my wife and kid had a good time. It’s a nice restaurant, but the experience wasn’t strong enough for me to want to return. At over $300 for the three of us (including unlimited cocktails and beer for the adults), I feel there are other Brazilian steakhouses I’d try before coming back.
It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. It was mid. The ambience of the restaurant is nice but definitely not somewhere I would go or consider for a fancy date. It was mid. The service was okay but right from the beginning we were being rushed through the meal and out the door. No time or effort was taken to explain what was being served. It was more a mad dash to turn tables over. Again, it wasn't bad, not great. It was mid. The sushi itself wasn't bad, it was good. But for the price, I expect more. It was mid. Will not recommend or eat here again.

The service was great but the food was okay, nothing special. The price point is good for an omakase, but I would probably not go back.
First: the fish is really top quality and not so expensive. The dirinks, however, are quite expensive. I have 2 big complaints: they force a fixed 16% tip, and the sushi rice was wet and fell a…
Three words: bastardized American sushi. Poor presentation, hot rice sushi (proper: room temperature), quarter sized sashimi, hand roll is not even made into a cone (laziness)? I’ve seen better quality at “common” and “all you can eat” sushi restaurants. This place is ridiculously overpriced for a set menu ”prix fixe” and supposed quality dining experience. “No tipping establishment” is meaningless when they’ve automatically added a “16% fee” to the bill. Icing on the cake: a fruit fly landed in my sake cup and drowned.

I had sugar fish in manhattan & in Newport Beach & loved it. I was downtown L.A. today & was looking forward to having lunch. Unfortunately I wasted 80$ & it was the worst experience. The sushi wasn’t as fresh, even the salmon tasted off today. The service was very slow & the only thing I enjoyed was the edamame. The waiter was very dismissive & very un attentively . I asked for a little more ginger & they wanted to charge me for a side of ginger😡 parking was hell to find, paid 15$ for parking & 80$ for a lousy lunch. On top of being dissatisfied with spending that much for a mediocre lunch, I also have a terrible stomach ache. Praying I don’t get food poison!! What a waste of money& time.
