Opinions de Paris Baguette Los Angeles
Awesome hot chocolate and pastries, close to the taste of paris, first time to try this place when I was in Downtown Los Angeles, and it was a win win, the place is very neat and spacious, it is very classy and it feels like you are entering a diamond store, the location is very easy to drive to, the only drawback is the parking is pretty sparse but that is the usual thing in Downtown Los Angeles area, definitely will go there again, they have a variety of baguette and very tasty pastries and bread collection
Paris Baguette never disappoints! Their flaky croissants are absolutely divine—crispy on the outside, buttery and soft inside. Paired with a smooth, rich coffee, it’s the perfect breakfast combo. A must-try for anyone who loves fresh pastries!
Great atmosphere. Staff is very nice and professional. Coffee is a must! I highly recommend it to complement all the delicious baked goods which are made fresh everyday. All made to perfection.
Probably the best service I have and will ever receive in my life. The employees were so nice. I also ordered my coffee by saying "[size] [iced/hot] [flavor] drink" instead of just saying "I want a coffee" because I am an amazing customer. I also left a $5 tip but they deserved more
Fabiola was so sweet and helpful! She made my visit to Paris Baguette extra special. Great service with a smile!
Amazing coffee and pastries love this place. I actually walked in after going to Starbucks and ordering and then I was disgusted. By the way I was treated and the lack of restroom facilities, or the availability to use them. Highly recommend this place.
I’ve been in DTLA for a while and have never been here. Glad I stopped by! The main deserts I gave to workers at my building. I actually only ate the pizzette and pig in the blanket. Both were very delicious and great for brunch. I’d definitely come back here again! Parking can be a pain so I suggest walking or if you find street parking.
Paris Baguette is great! My coffee and croissant were great! The staff were friendly. Peaceful and good feeling interior. Definitely recommend them! Have a great day!❤️😃☕️🥐🇫🇷
Great prices with a wide variety of delicious pastries and cakes. The menu offers everything from sandwiches and breads to drinks. The service is excellent, and I especially love the matcha latte—the cheese soft cake was absolutely delicious.
It is awesome, pastry’s, sandwiches, cakes totally awesome. I thingk is no where like this in downtown. U should try here.
Loved their Croissant. They have many varieties of pastries & breads. Their coffee is LavAzza, that's a good coffee 👌
It’s maybe the best french bakery in los angeles! A great selection of french goodies and sandwichs. It feels good and tasty! The prices are acceptable according to what we can find in Los angeles. Totally recommended!
Loved it. Not the healthiest food you will get but sandwiches taste pretty fresh, and the bread is delicious. Got a chicken mushroom baguette sandwich and it was delightful. Cute place and nice crew. Big selection of cakes and sweets
ham & cheese pastry was so good recommend to have it heated up. iced mocha tasted strong & quite big for regular size
A charming atmosphere, I loved it, from the taste of their desserts to the excellent attention provided to each of the workers.

Paris Baguette is always a treat, thanks to their amazing pastries and friendly staff. Fabiola is especially wonderful—so welcoming and kind! Whether it’s cakes, croissants, or savory bites, everything is top quality. Highly recommend this spot for a quick, delicious pick-me-up!
They honestly are the prettiest and delicious morning cafe spot in DTLA. The food, pastries, and drinks are rich in flavor. My favorite drink is their Korean Iced Milk Coffee! I get all my special occasions cakes from there. Parking is street parking so it’s limited. I risk going late to work all the time for my pick me up 🫣…

Ambience: Perfect for spending some quality time with someone you want to spend with. Food: This store is famous for bakery products out of which I have eaten Chocolate croissant Cheesecake Both of them were worth the cost. You should also try their chocolate cake it's pretty yummy Staff: The staff was good and fast.
The entrance might throw you off but the place is decent inside with good valet and coffee options. The pastry I got was ok and so was the coffee. I would go back but would not seek it out to visit again.
It’s the same as any of the other Paris Baguette as far as I can tell but I mostly just came here to post the photos—I got my gf food here remotely so I happened to photographed everything. She liked the food! Not the best bakery but a solid 4 start corporate joint. The sausage roll is a decent price for the amount of food.
Cozy Spot with Fresh Sandwiches and Delightful Cakes A lovely, quiet café in Downtown LA, perfect for a calm bite amidst the city bustle. I walked in and was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of options available! I ordered the egg salad sandwich, grilled cheese, mini castella cake, and soft cheesecake. The sandwiches were fantastic-fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The highlight for me was definitely the castella cake. It was incredibly moist and airy, with just the right touch of sweetness-perfect even if you're mindful of your sugar intake. Hands down, one of the best castella cakes I’ve had. Unfortunately, the cheesecake was a letdown. The texture was dry and dense, making it hard to enjoy, and I couldn’t bring myself to finish it. Overall, I’d highly recommend this place for most of their offerings, especially the sandwiches and the castella cake. Just maybe give the cheesecake a pass. Looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu!
Nice place to sit and have a quick bite. I came in out of the cold afternoon, the cafe was nice and warm. The seating area is large. The sweets offerings are plentiful, but they only a few savory offerings. I took my time deciding what to get. The employee was really nice and very polite, Adam I think is his name. The croissant I ordered was okayyyyy, but would come back based on the service. Give Adam a raise!
Pastries were excellent. Pumpkin krapfen was something unique. Coffee is decently good. Tables don’t get clean though, there should be someone handling this thing during rush hours.
Flaky flaky flaky 🤤🤤🤤 enjoyed some good pastries but their hot chocolate was ok. I ordered from their menu a Belgian hot chocolate and was told they didn't have that item 😒 so why is it in the menu 😢🥺😭 everything does seem freshly made except their hot chocolate tasted like the little instant hot chocolate bags 😰 sorry but true. Their breakfast croissant was good and also their blueberry and cream cheese pastry. My husband got the chocolate croissant and a hashbrown breakfast sandwich.

Not enough help behind the counter. As I waited I watched a homeless man walk in & help himself to a large pre-made sandwich and leave. 30 seconds later he walked in and put the sandwich back. A street traffic "cop" walked him back inside. Gross! No one noticed. I got there ham & cheese croissant. Barely any ham, great flavor though.

Not sure about this one. The chocolatines were crispy and good, however, they were very sweet. Premises were clean and the staff were friendly, food was well presented. I noticed some things that were more like Hong Kong pastries rather than French bakeries - I.e sausage bun. Most stars were lost on the chai latte. It was sickeningly sweet and I couldn’t drink it, had to throw it out. The price also wasn’t respected - for some reason the price displayed the large was less expensive than the medium. I think the store should respect these prices even if the display is wrong.

Came here with high expectations... thinking that it will be the same menu and vibes as the PB from Salt Lake City UT. Highly disappointed to see that their menu items is quite different... for example this location has no Coffee Croissant Donut (see second picture). The egg tart and the fruit tart were not that fresh and the Almond Croissant was cold. For a franchise brand, is very disheartening to see they do not have same menu and quality across all their locations. At least the server was nice, as in he apologized (even though was not his fault since it is not his franchise) and skipped the tipping screen. Atmosphere is typical of LA... homeless and dirty people wondering around, making the environment less hygienic and safe... but I guess is more to be taken against city policy rather than shop owner.
This was my first time ordering a supersize box from TGTG. The pickup time was supposed to be 8:15, but when I arrived on time, the store was already closed. There were still a guy and a girl inside; the girl made eye contact with me but completely ignored me. I stayed at the door hoping for some assistance because I was confused, yet they just walked past me without any help. To the girl who closed the store on Jan 12, 2026: you are at work, and it’s not just about looking beautiful—please pay attention to your customers.
Employee awfully rude. Purchased 3 strawberry pastry and a large starawberry chocolate cake that totaled up to 66 dollars. Both of My hands were full due to presents I was carrying to grab a tray to the cashier, so I asked politely if I can get the fruit pastry along with the cake. Large Latina girl with braces/retainer at the counter commented that I need to go grab it because that’s what you are suppose to do. I have been coming to this specific location for the past 4 years and I knew that but I told her I would appreciate it if she can grab it together with the cake since there was no place available to put my things down. (7 tables were all occupied and people over stepping) she gave me a cold look and talked me down like I was 5 years old. Was she having a bad day or had a rude customer? I don’t care. Mind you I asked politely if she can put them together but was served with cold look of “I ain’t serving you that way”. She needs to learn that she is in a job that requires service and politeness. Grabbing the pastry just 3 steps away shouldn’t be this difficult. Before I grabbed the bag she mentioned again. Next time you grab them on a tray and bring to the front, Ok? I left without answering her. 1 star for service because she did grab them and placed it in a container. Seriously needs employee training a review.
Pretty bland, couldn't finish the sandwich. One can do better.
The cakes, coffee, and everything here are perfect. I really love this place—I’ve come many times to buy in person, and I also order online. The cakes are always fresh and delicious. However, I’ve had a disappointing experience with customer service. The employee at the front, especially one lady, is very aggressive and unfriendly. It takes away from the otherwise great experience. I truly love Paris Baguette, but I hope management addresses this issue with staff professionalism so the service can match the quality of the food that's why guys I give you 2 stars

Monday this week, I ordered a birthday cake to be delivered to my son. The delivery date was today. He received a text from the delivery driver, and by the time he came to street level, the cake and the driver were nowhere to be found. I have tried calling the store all day today, more than 25 calls with no answer. I even tried calling the 9th Street location and spoke with someone there who would pass on my contact information to the manager at 8th Street directly. Nothing!!! Don't order anything to be delivered from this store. You will never hear from them again.
I went in with my mother in a wheelchair and the service was atrocious I went in to order a simple milk and a cookie and the guy behind counter was busy tending to the drinks but the girl was acting stupid walking around ignoring us no greeting no taking our order but the guy had to stop making the drinks to come and take our order. I am very disappointed in the service and when my mother confronted the girl she was laughing and mocking.
The worst thing about this place is the staff. They have an awful attitude for whatever reason. Their manager should look into the service they provide.
I’ve been to this café a dozen times and usually enjoyed it. But today was unacceptable. I had barely finished my coffee and croissants when a staff member came and took away my tray—an unmistakable hint to leave. Yes, the café was crowded, but that kind of discourteous behaviour is inexcusable. After this experience, I won’t be returning
Stopped at this location around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28th looking to get a sweet and tasty cheesecake only to stand at the register and be completely ignored by the employees behind the counter. When I said, “excuse me” to be acknowledged, the barista gave me a scolding hand gesture and hold me to wait. The other employee didn’t even look up at me. I succeeded at being invisible without intending to. I was disappointed by the attitude and decided this establishment did not deserve my business. I was not begged for food or causing any trouble, but I was treated as such. The cherry on top is the fact that this location always has flies inside the pastry displays. The glass is always dirty with sticky or oily fingerprints on it. It’s gross. I addressed this concern during a previous visit, but I was told the flies get inside the restaurant when customers leave the door open. In other words, nothing was done about it. This is why I recommend another location. This location is not worth your time. It’s dirty, flies on the food, and employees with awful attitudes. Try other locations nearby 85 Degree bakery on Flower and Wilshire (nearby) or Whole Foods Market (about 2 blocks away).
I visit this cafe almost every day, good pastries, delicious. But the staff is always unhappy, it is unpleasant to communicate and they are also rude, we ordered a drink, they made a completely different one, when we asked to redo it, they made me as a customer guilty, that you see, he heard something else, terrible attitude towards people
Check my history, I never complain. But this business needs to know that their customer service is really really bad. I stayed at freehand this last week, 5 days. I understand staffing levels may be stressed, but I was not greeted once. I’m not offended like others might be. Twice I walked in and left due to staff being engaged with each other not even knowing I was there. Nothing artistic about the lavazza coffee, though that is to be expected. The pastries although assembled well, are nothing special. If you don’t make this a people driven spot it will probably be a drain on your company resources. Not being greeted sends up a red flag for me. I’m not scary, homeless looking, or a person of color. Other folks may interpret this lack of a greeting to be more racially or class motivated. I assume it’s just really poor training. I’m not an entitled complainer, just thought you should know. Good luck🙏
