Honestly amazing donuts and really nice staff. Incredibly cheap for how good they are. My favorite so far is the chocolate donut with coconut flakes but I'm eating here every other day now so maybe I'll find an even better one.

There is a reason why this donut shop has 4.9 stars and hundreds of reviews here and yelp. Because it's perfect. Your first bite thin crispy layer then soft, moist and gooie dough that is not overly agressively offensively sweet like any other places. Easy on ur tummy. The oil is just right and light. U can tell they are fried with care... If u are ever in the near by places and if it's ur break time u have to try it. It gives u a peace of mind and it helps slow down your thinking from hyper active day. U would also need to have a coffee here too. They match perfectly. I recommend coming here anytime of the day but for me between 2 and 4. Also Ample parking! Also the owner who works there is a monumentum to the place, I think and her life story. If u like to share ur peace of mind, I recall I was so very appreciated when I brought a box at a party, that's when I found out they were amazing ,🥰🍩.

This place is totally legit. Best donuts I've had in LA since Ms.Donut on Glendale closed. buttermilk and glazed-old fashioned are my favs here, also they make incredible cinnamon-sugar ones.

Monterey Donut has the best donuts; always freshly made each day. They are soft with a perfect texture. The shop also sell a variety of tasty croissants, such as ham & cheese, chocolate, cream cheese, and regular, muffins and apple fritters. This is my go to donut shop whenever I want to get donuts and croissants. The lady shop owner is so friendly too.

Best glazed donuts I've ever had, period. My wife agrees. The owner said she's been there for years, but we never bothered to go until last year. Now, we're hooked. We live about a mile and a half away and so we walk to the store for exercise, then treat ourselves for being good :-)

The donuts are excellent. I enjoy a classic glazed and it was simply fantastic - pillowy and the perfect amount of sweetness. Service could’ve been friendlier, but no biggie. Highly recommend.

The owner is a remarkably cheerful lady. I just love chatting with her about all her awesome donuts and drinks. And boy. Everything here always tastes SUPER fresh. And even the sugary drinks, which I never usually go for in other stores, are quite great too. And the prices are completely reasonable. It’s clear why all the neighbors are head over heels in love with this place.

We stayed in the neighborhood for a few days and found this doughnut shop. We immediately became repeat customers! The woman working there was so friendly and helpful. The doughnuts were delicious and the coffee was especially good!
