First time coming to this AMAZING place. Came for a visit to Cali from VA. I can say that even though is a small place is a large selection of just fresh goodies! I recommend for anyone to visit here and you won't regret it!

It was amazing. The service was spectacular. I got something simple, for Hispanic people its called torta de hamon, but for English, it's the same. I absolutely loved it, its from one of my childhood memories and a Mexican cartoon called El Chavo del Ocho.

This place is little but it has the best smoothies and the agua frescas..the price is just right. I always get their lime cucumber Chia and other ingredients, it's just perfect and better then to have a soda with your meal. All the food and the place it self reminds me of my trips to different places of Mexico. This place would be called a fondita. Two thumbs up and to big toes up as well.....

The torta de pollo (chicken sandwich) is sooooo good!! It comes with hot sauce and a roasted jalapeño on the side. I also got the fresh green juice, yum.

Jugos Azteca is more of a mexican food spot for the weekends whether by yourself or with family/ friends, they have options on options of things to choose from for everyone to enjoy. I personally always make sure to get an order of the Fresas Con Crema when I go because of how fresh the strawberries are, especially the corn for the same reason. You can really tell they use natural ingredients unlike that in-can feel from places like La Michocana, also just make sure you see the colorful building if you're looking for this place, theres alot of people that ask if its the restaurant right next to it "El Huarache Azteca"

Got their late last night they just about to close cause of the rain so anything that needed to be cooked on the menu was not available due to the kitchen shutting down the stoves.so all we had a choices was tostadas witch I must say was a great choices great flavor and came with two tostadas will defently stop by their with more time and eat their lost to choose from.

One of my favorite places in the NELA region, their large menu of healing juices is what keeps me coming back. Well that and the shrimp tostadas and sometimes a the bionico 🤤

Good ol' veggie sandwich! I was not expecting something warm, but it was so perfectly delicious! Cheese made me feel like I was being naughty so I had a fresh juice to counteract that. They list combinations to tackle specific conditions of the body. Prices are super reasonable so come back often and tip them well. Love this place!

I found this place as I was rushing to work. Called ahead to order a breakfast burrito. It was delicious! My only complaint is that it's not easy finding parking and even still it is worth circling around to find a spot, I've ordered ahead a few times. The service is great too!

My go to spot for actual authentic mexican in the area. delicious veggie cheese quesadillas! Decadent melted cheese, roasted mushrooms/peppers, plenty of onions. Also had their must-try cafe de lola. Really quick and friendly service. worth the trip from hollywood!

This fantastic place offers snacks as well delicious food. I checked in to get fresh fruit with my meal. I had the seafood scramble which was tasty. Service was great and food arrived quickly.

$1.50 tostadas on Friday’s. The most delicious aguas frescas you’ll have. Fair prices and a cute little hole in the wall. Service is quick and friendly. You’re subject to street parking but at least you don’t have to pay any meters.

Hands down the best jugos in Highland Park, and even LA. Their tortas are all home runs and if you want any tamales (this time of year) make sure to go prior to 10am, or get some of the frozen ones. I take all people I show around LA here, because it really is a fantastic mom-and-pop shop that stays true to themselves.

We got an agua Fresca de pepino + piña & a fresh pressed juice with watermelon, orange juice, and kiwi! They have a really wide variety of fresh juice / blended juice and mine wasn’t too sweet I could tell there was no added sugars! Will be coming back on hot days this summer!

I come to this place every weekend after the soccer game with my son and friends. The food is very good and the price is very good. We always take the tortas and grill cheese sandwich. And the fruit water is very good.😊 .

My go to breakfast burrito place. The service is always great and the burritos are delicious. I usually go with pastor, but bacon is also delicious. My only complaint is they used to include avocado and they stopped doing that.

I ordered the Torta de Jamon, it really hit the spot with their green salsa. Just under 10 bucks I feel it's an amazing price for something so deliciously simple.

I started buying 'licuados' here about 15+ years ago. I've also purchased the pressed juices, for health. They have never disappointed. I moved out of the area, but whenever I'm in town and crave a nice cool drink, this is my go-to. I've never tried the food but it always looks delicious.

Best place to grab some fresh and affordable food! They have great options and everything is made fresh. I got the vegetarian torta. Best vegetarian torta I had ever had. I like to go often to get their fresh juice options as well. Go check them out. They will not disappoint! 10/10

Honestly the best chicken tinga torta, and the hot Cheeto nachos were really good too but not as good as the torta, the watermelon and mango drink was really good as well. A spot anyone should definitely try they got almost everything.

I got the vegetarian breakfast burrito with egg, cheese, and potatoes sooo good! The potatoes are soft and flavorful cooked with onion and green peppers. I also tried the super green juice packed with so much healthy but still tasted sweet and not too sweet. Highly recommend all around, great friendly service too! Thank you for a delicious breakfast

Definitely dig this spot right here. They not only have flavored drinks like “tamarind” but they have healthy juices to help with hypertension, anemia, digestion troubles and on and on and on! I liked the many options and had a tough time choosing. In the end I took a healthy juice added some ingredients to my liking, and also tried their raspado tamarind flavor. Both were good choices. I recommend this place. Lots of seating good service, good drinks!:)

This place is the real deal and will make your taste buds and tummy happy. Wife and I got the breakfast burritos, one with bacon and the other with chorizo, and both were phenomenal. We also got a cafe Hoya, which was excellent, and a watermelon-mango agua fresca that was mind-blowingly delicious. The food, service, and selection was all amazing. We highly recommend Jugos Azteca.

This place is BONKERS! Hidden gem in Highland Park. While in search for a raspado (shaved ice with flavored syrup) and a elote (corn on the cob with mayo, powder cheese, powder chili and mayo) we came across this location. Clean restaurant, friendly staff, and lots of selections(too many, I felt overwhelmed). Can’t wait to go back and try their other items. I must say, service was a bit slow but well WORTH the WAIT. There is sitting inside and outside. If you decide to sit inside, be careful there is a step up. Overall this place is 10 and if you have gotten this far on my review, don’t think twice. I wish the raspado had a bit more syrup but that is just personal preference. Needless to say, this place brought lots of childhood memories. Stop reading this review and get yourself a raspado and a elote! Cheers! Also, I believe they will give you an Agua Fresca if you follow them on Instagram. Food was great. It was my first time when I was visiting the area. Torta DF is delicious. Aguas frescas are delicious too, specially the pepino con limon. Staff is friendly. Will go back when I'm up there visiting. No parking so I had to park around the neighborhood and walk for 5 mins or you can pay meter parking.

Jugos Azteca is a staple of the community and has always been consistently good. The aguas frescas and mangoneadas are always on point and definitely a must in the summer.

I came here yesterday and starting my Juice cleanse today. I already started feeling great. The staff working at this location are very friendly... Particularly this guy Conner was very helpful.. He chatted with me for almost 30 min discussing my concerns and my eating habits.. He gave me tasting of every juice there and helped me make my own cleansing routine based on my taste...I m very impressed by his knowledge about various foods etc. I usually go to the one in Market street, but I will be coming here more often now.

Love the Drinks & Raspados, especially the strawberry horchata But it is very rare they have it and when they do it sells out quickly. They have great tortas.

This place is pretty good for their juices they taste fresh and healthy. Their raspados are good as well in size and taste. They have a good variety of mexica fast-food / just food. The food is ok.. Needs a little more salt for my personal taste..and the customer service sucks. Its like they are doing you a favor more then providing a service.

Such deliciously fresh juices at a fair price! They only have outdoor seating, But most people take them to go anyway.

Ended up getting their hydration and liver cleanser drinks. Really good! Will be having their Vampiro next time

My wife and I come here every once in a while for one of their juices. It's always fresh. The only criticism I have is, sometimes, I'm expecting more flavor in the juice than it provides... But that might just be me. Overall a good place.

Loved the agua fresca de pepino, lima y trozos de piña. Prices are higher than what you would expect from a hole in the wall but still fair. There was a long wait for someone to come to the counter to serve me and the vibe just felt off somehow. Next time I’ll probably order ahead of time for pick up.

I've been coming to this place for so many years. The owner has always been awesome! his new hires, not as much . Some of the food is good here and some of it's all right. I like to sit outside. Some don't like the sun so I will sometimes sit inside but to me it's so loud, ouch. it's a better price than some places but i don't usually come here for the food especially since there's hardly any meat in the tortas anymore. I usually get a juice! All of the juices are delicious but If you're getting juices to go, have them triple bag it!! good luck!

Update on 3/11/2018. Prices have gone up on nearly everything. Still not bad, but not as great a deal as before. The drinks are the draw here. You can't go wrong with the fruit smoothies. The food is good too and priced reasonably, but it doesn't stand out like the drinks. Only street parking available and there's not much to begin with.

Tortas we're bomb, jugos were good, and so were the bionicos, but the shrimp tostada was wack. Way too much onion and too little shrimp. I had a chkn quesadilla. That was also good.

The capirotada is good, not too sweet, it has apples, plantains, raisins, nuts, and shredded coconut with a side of lechera. We also had the tamales which are tasty but I can tell it wasn't fresh because the masa was kind of dry. They were probably preheated from a previous batch. However, we will go back for the tortas and seafood, the food look delicious

I would had rate it a higher star but the guy who was helping me out was literally like so slow after I even mentioned I had 5 min exactly for my bus to come lol drink was refreshing doe pretty good

Torta cubana is good but shrimp tostada not good we never know have mayonnaise and cabbage the original make cook in lemon juice tossed with cilantro cucumbers ,onions ,tomato optional avocado

I bought a green jugo fresco at $5 for a small and my buddy a watermelon juice at $6 for a medium. Not the greatest juice but not lousy either. The juice felt like it had a but too much water, but the consistency was not overly watery. I didn't buy any food, so this rating is for the juices.

The juices that I've tired here are really good. They have both indoor and outdoor seating I have tried the food here a couple times and I always leave satisfied hoping the next time I return soon. The downside is that the location is small and it's can get busy fast.

I had the chilaquil torta and I was very disappointed. This torta was dry, it had no sour cream or queso fresco and generally lacked flavor. My husband got the milanesa torta and it was okay. However the aguas frescas were delicious.

Their food is good the only thing bad that their menu says burritos and they have all the meat choices. I asked for a carne asada burrito they gave me a breakfast burrito I do not like egg on my burrito told the person that then threw away the burrito and ordered a carne asada quesadilla person didn’t even bother to give me a discount

I respected this place because my friend family runs the business but after this morning. VERY Unacceptable! My mom & I bought two breakfast burritos and we found 2 hair strands inside. We had to throw up our food. With all this covid going around the last thing I wanted to see is someone else hair on my food. My whole day is just ruined. If you buy food from here I highly RECOMMEND you look at your food before you eat it.

They have a sign out with mangonadas and diablitos. The flavors are paired so it looks like you can do mixed. Cashier had no idea what we were talking about and was like idk what you're asking me. Order a mangonada. Took 15 minutes to make. Guys ahead of us chose to take the free drink for follow and left instead of waiting for theirs. Mangonada tasted like ice with a hint of Mango.

Came here to feast during lunch. I did not like how menu price tag were all covered. You don’t know the price of anything and they don’t even give you a receipt. The atmosphere inside was very loud. I felt a bit scared because there was this cholo looking kid with a shiesty and he kept blasting gang songs. He’s probably a worker there but needs to blast his music somewhere else. I ordered 3 items and it came out to almost 40 bucks. The food was overall decent but not that fresh.

This place isn’t that great .its the first time I go and they took forever to give me my order. I order two tortas. One was asada and the other one was chicken and they were not that great. The chicken wasn’t cooked right and it was still pink and red in the inside. The asada had more nerves then meat. The avocado was hard and only had a small piece.I made a comment on instagram and the owner deleted my post. Never will I go there again. I took a drive from montebello and at the end it was not worth it

So the service here was great at first. Then keep coming back for drinks, then shrimp tostadas and guess what the service isn't great anymore. I've been serviced by regular staff and owner. So todays experience really not great at all. I called to place an order and owner hung up on me. Okay. I drive down there and the owner takes my order and I ask for everything ok there side for my tostada's to go. Common sense, who likes soggy tostadas? I've order my shrimp tostadas 3 times this way before. Anyhow, I didn't notice until I got home that everything was together. So I'm not happy, first because who likes soggy tostadas!!! Second, it looks like there's more veggies than shrimp on my tostadas, which also happened the last time I ordered. I was thinking maybe they where that way because it was the last of it for the Friday special. Anyhow, I take a closer look only one if full and the other has half of the shrimp mix on it. I will add pictures. I ordered 9 tostadas and 2 where place in 4 boxes and where covered by a big chunk of avocado. I also called and spoke to owner and he said I didn't ask for everything on the side and hung up. I think the service for this place is going down hill. Such a shame. I recommended to many, that's why I feel I have to put this review up. If anything just check order before leaving, even if you've gone there many times before. I will stick to just ordering drinks if I go back.

Today is 96° so it is quite the HOT day i ordered a watermelon fruit plate. I wanted to return it do to it not being cold, and watermelon had lots of rind owner at first did not want to reimburse me.

If I could give 0 stars I would, I had a bad experience at that place . They show nice portions on there videos for popular guest and when they give you your food it's no where near as they show it. He blocked me on social media because of a comment I made about the portions.

Food is terrible, service is terrible, food on special is all toppings no actual advertised food. They block you on Instagram if you comment anything that exposes their true service. Don't recommend.

Seeing hair in your food it’s disgusting .

The food is decent but the service is absolutely horrible. Be prepared for extemely rude people and a long wait time. I have been going here for years and each time I say, "never again" but then I get a craving for the tinga... and regret having to deal with them. This time was the last straw. I have allergies and told them but they still included cheese and cream. When I brought it to their attention, there was no sorry at all, they said it was my fault and that the food just always comes with it. No offer to remake it or anything. There are way better places on York to spend your money and time.

Customer service and staff have become rude over the years. The quality in food have also worsened yet the prices seem to continue to drastically change. I’m very disappointed because I’ve been going to this place for over 10years but this past year it’s has become ridiculously impalpable.

Bummer I was not impressed. I drove from Glendale to try this place. First what I wanted they didnt have, Two only CASH so if you go make sure you have it. Three the lady taking my order was not friendly, when I was done ordering she said Eso es todo? To me you saying those words ,you took my order correctly. When I got my stuff surprise no aguas frescas. Epic failed taking orders.I guess I was really really looking forward to coming to this place and all three things did it to me. I was so done I took what I had and left. It's ok I'll take my business somewhere else. I'm not one to complain, but when you drive in traffic for a good experience. It makes an impact. Food was ok 😐 .

After my last visit, I am never going back here again. Why? Sleazy owner, creepy behavior, false promotions, and uncomfortable atmosphere. The service and policies are shady and uncomfortable. Don’t know what I’m talking about? Take a look at their instagram page and you’ll see the weird, gross, “marketing” strategies that the owner insists on using. The cooks and other staff are always friendly, but the owner is the one who has completely ruined the integrity of the place. On my last visit, on a Wednesday, I noticed that they have a promotion posted outside on their window: a free small agua fresca with the purchase of a burrito every Wednesday. When I walked into the store, I saw they have a giant sign with a QR code advertising a free agua fresca if you follow their Instagram page. I had ordered a burrito, so I asked if I could get a free agua fresca, as their poster outside advertises. The owner said “no, that the promo is only for students”. (The sign doesn’t say this by the way.) I said “okay, I can follow your page instead”. To this, he said “no, you have to make a video and pose for us for the free drink.” Now, if you take a look at his instagram page, you’ll notice the amount of women who he records in suggestive poses. There are even videos from security camera footage of women who seemingly did not consent to being posted. Because of this, I said no to making a video and purchased the drink instead. The owner should take down the posters or clarify the menu. But I suspect this is done on purpose in order to record people for his page. Multiple people on instagram have reported him and commented, but the creepy “marketing” continues.
