Opinions de Pop's Bagels Los Angeles
Joe and the Juice in Brentwood is the place to go if you want a healthy, unique, delicious smoothie with fresh ingredients. I first tried them in New York years ago, and I was excited when they made it to the West Side in Los Angeles. My favorite category are the vegan shakes because they have avocado, my favorite smoothie ingredient. It’s a great option if you’re lactose intolerant like me but still want a filling & creamy smoothie, and you know I love that they have agave straws (better for both the environment and your drinking experiences than paper or plastic). The Blue Magic ($12) tastes like healthy fruit loop cereal, the natural color from the blue spirulina is pretty amazing, and the hint of citrus is refreshing. The Blue Magic (rightly named) has Blue spirulina, Hemp seeds, Avocado, Protein, Dates, Lemon, & Oat-coconut milk. Next time I’ll try the Green Gains so I can try the differences in the spirulinas. The staff is super cool, and Owen and Larissa are both nice and great at their jobs, even when rude customers come in. They have an app where you can order ahead, and they have free parking in their lot behind the store, where they have spacious indoor and outdoor seating.
Very tasty carrot cake and marcha Latte. The place is nice, quiet, and clean. There are dogs allowed in the café but the owners make sure to keep it clean.
I like the idea of what they bring forth. They have lots stuff on the menu to eat and alternatives to the typical coffee and tea bar. Like the name states, they have lots of juice with many ways to serve it. Sounds refreshing right? That's the idea! and I'm not just biased because I installed the menu board! I checked it out, just haven't tried it yet cause it was closed by time I got there to replace the old menu with an updated menu board! Check it out for yourself and comment if you like it or not day and may 2021 be the best for coffee and everything else in life let's end the social distancing and get back together with our loved ones over coffee or juice!

Kind and attentive staff. Love the steak sandwich and power shake! Lots of outlets inside to easily work and chill vibe!
I had a very nice experience here. I had a delicious spicy tunacado and a feel good juice! So fresh and yummy. The worker there Ella was so friendly as soon as I walked in and helped me to make my choices as first time patron and I was very happy with her reccomendations! Can't wait to come back. Really good atmosphere to get some work done in a pleasant space, plus delicious, fresh options to eat and drink.
This place is really good. The juices are fresh, the staff is friendly, and it’s a nice, relaxed spot. If you can, go a little earlier to avoid the rush.
I recently revisited Joe & The Juice at their Melrose location, and wow—what a turnaround! The sandwiches and smoothies were not only delicious but also prepared swiftly. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere had a vibrant, welcoming vibe. It’s clear they’ve stepped up their game, making it a go-to spot for a quick, healthy bite.

Such a cute and open interior. The staff was friendly and my avocado toast was ready upon arrival. Parking sucks.

I have seen this place online for quite some time but I finally made my way to try it today. It ended up being as good as it looked online - I had the tuna avocado sandwich and my husband had the club and they both were delicious. The sandwiches were flavorful and the bread was delightfully crunchy! We also ordered a chocolate protein drink. It was not super sweet or super chocolately...so for me it was just Okay but my husband liked it a lot. I also got the Iconic Tonic and that was good but the drink cost over $16 alone with tax...that's a too expensive in my opinion. On price alone..I probably would never buy that drink again. Overall, it was still a good experience. I definitely recommend for others to try this place out if you are in the area. I hope they expand out to Orange County.
the atmosphere and decor of this place are lovely, and the vanilla matcha was extremely delicious as well! however, the servers never seem to ask us for the size of the drink, and default to the largest size. when you ask them to change, they are pretty rude about it. other than that, the drink itself was tasty.

This place is amazing however there is this one employee Ella who just has constant attitude with me even seemed to make fun of me when I asked for the flavor profile of cardamom vs some other winter spices and was told something like "it's a spice" which didn't answer my question. Not all spices taste the same. I don't know what the problem with me is but it's obvious and makes me extremely uncomfortable every time I come in. Everyone else is absolutely amazing

The sandwich was overhyped. Smoothie was good but overpriced.
I also usually enjoy Joe and the juice. This is the second time I order a sandwich here, asking it to be hot and they bring it cold. Not accepting to heat it up even when asked the first time because I had a bite and didn’t make a new one.

The food took way too long to wait they work really slow. Also, my smoothie had an unblended strawberry in it and the cafe inside is also just really musty the chairs look old and the tables are dirty. the air smelled bad too I wouldn’t go again. Musty vibes

Went to eat here, first I paid 60 dollars for two small sized fiber drinks and two sandwiches. The smoothies come out looking both different, one chunky and the other smooth. The taste was not it, I’ve had one before and it was way better, not to mention there’s only one person cooking and she’s rushing four orders out. Next come the sandwiches, both being cold, the bread stale and disgustingly crunchy, literally hurting my throat as I swallow. I’ve been to countless Joe and the Juice and this was just not it, especially if I’m going to pay 60 dollars. The minute the tiny little “rush” was over they alternated between breaks just proving they wanted to rush food out. Maybe take into account the amount I’m paying, the sandwich being anything but warm and fresh was the cherry on top. The warmers are literally right there plugged in, what are you doing.
I normally love Joe & the Juice however, today went there for lunch. I was told my food would be ready in 20 minutes. It took an hour to get a sandwich that’s fine I don’t care however, I would like to have known the reality of the time waiting since I was there during my lunch break. Considering this is Brentwood and a nice sandwich place you would imagine they would be prepared with proper staffing. They had one cashier and one gentlemen making sandwiches. Those employees looked overworked and overwhelmed, shame on Joe & the juice. I had to eat at my desk after waiting for one hour .
There is no reason at all why anyone should feel it is ok to send completely burnt food to someone and then not have a phone number to reach a live person so that I can come and at least exchange my food for something edible. This is not ok. The bread was completely burnt to a crisp.

Terrible service at this location today (6/29, around 2:45 pm). Ordered on Postmates for pick up. I walked in and gave my name… he said it’s not ready yet. Later a lady asked if I had been helped… I gave her my name and she handed me the bag I witnessed put on the counter 10 minutes prior. He knew I was waiting for my order and he personally made my drinks… why didn’t he tell me it was ready? Another couple had even walked out of the line because they were extremely slow and socializing back there versus working. Terrible!
Tried calling because gluten free bread is not offered through DoorDash. Can’t leave the office to go pick up. Called the only number they have and just circles you back to downloading the app. Just need to request and PAY for gluten free bread y’all. Shouldn’t be this difficult to contact a store.
We live in the 21st century. Why don't you accept cash and are you still hungry? Why don't you accept personal money? What a disgrace! What kind of service worker is that? Very rude.
The avocados in the sandwich was black and I didn't get my FULL refund. Contacted to store to try and talk to a representative, but couldn't reach anyone but their stupid answering machine. I ended up emailing them, and now i'm waiting for a response.
