The lady who took my order was an Absolute sweetheart, she was very kind n professional made sure everything was perfect for me I would go back on the service alone but the food is great as well

Frequently stop by here and have always had an excellent experience. Food is freshly prepared and ready very quickly. All the staff I’ve interacted with have been friendly and thoughtful. Great place to get a burger!

Really good burger. One of the best Habit locations I’ve visited. I like being able to request a lettuce wrap instead of a bun. The jalapeños on the topping bar were a really good addition to my burger (not too hot). The young man working the register around 1p was actually friendly and helpful! What a refreshing change from most fast food restaurants. Unfortunately, just couldn’t read his name w/o my glasses. I would definitely return.

Bring your good apetito. The staff were super friendly while the restaurant was busy. Professional and helpful. I will return with my friends and family just for the nice experience. Than you all.

Such a lovely experience! I came to Santa Monica from Portland and stumbled upon this gem of a burger spot. The place is super clean, beautifully decorated, and has such a warm vibe. Adrienne, who took my order, was incredibly kind and welcoming — she made me feel right at home. The food came out really fast, and everything was absolutely delicious. You can tell they care about the details here. Thank you for such a sweet moment on my trip!

The staff here is so friendly and has routinely gotten my food out quickly! The burgers are also very tasty. Especially the impossible burger.

I absolutely love Habit, it is defenetly one of the best fast food chain in the US. The classic char burgers are great! I always get them and Habit never disappoints me, so in this restaurant char burgers were absolutely delicious. The beef patties were so juicy and tender. I really love the texture of the beef, is very nicely cooked. All ingredients are well balanced and I can feel that the quality is great. It tastes very fresh. Sauce is amazing. The cheese inside burger is also really good. The fries in Habit is always good but today it was a bit overfried, but the good thing it made it very crispy and I kinda liked it. What I also like about burgers is the size of them. They are not small and not very big. I always get double char and with fries it gets me full even when I was very hungry. The restaurant itself looks good inside, very clean, and I really like the vibe. The are two restrooms, and they are clean. Also, they have electronic displays with what you can order the food. I like it because you can take your time thinking what you want and also it allows you customize your order the way you want. Not every location has these screens. There is also a nice area for outdoor dining which looks great. The stuff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant has plenty of tables. I went in during dinner time and there were mane free tables. They make food pretty quickly. I waited for my order for 7-8 minutes. Overall, the restaurant is good and I will probably come back here.

It’s a well executed burger with a good ratio of meat, toppings and bun. My second main go to meal is the Santa Barbara Char. The two beef patties, layer of avocado on buttered sourdough bread is amazing! I think the pricing is reasonable. It’s about the same price as Shake Shack, costing you around $13-$16 if you get a meal. So how does Habit Burger compare to other burger spots? It’s obviously much better then your typical fast food like McDonald’s and Burger King. I mostly prefer it over Shake Shack. But when it comes to In-n-Out… there just something special and nostalgic about it that ultimately makes me want In-n-Out more (although the fries here are miles better!). Regardless, I love The Habit Burger and strongly recommend if you want a quality burger.

The Ahi Tuna burger was ordered without the bun- wrapped in lettuce - I added portobello mushrooms and grilled onions to it- if you are doing the no carb diet, this was very filling and delicious. Services was great- I like this place because it’s never crowded or noisy.

Habit is the best burger chain, period. The quality of the meat, the bun and the ingredients. I put their burger and fries against any big chain including in-N-Out Burger. Compare the burger patties and the fries and you’ll know why this is by a far superior meal. Their Crispy chicken sandwich on ciabatta is equally amazing. Another favorite Of mine is their sweet potato fries. We stop by at their location on Wilshire and Stanford in Santa Monica at least once or twice a week.

Whoever the cooks were on a sunday february 8th 2026 night, burger and fries were excellent. People at front were kind and calm. I waited 19 minutes , but was worth it. In the past, i had a negtaive experinece here with a cook and manager, so i didnt come back for a very long time.

You can purchase everything on a touch screen and pay on the machine. When they have made your order they will call you and you go pick it up. You can refill on drinks and they also have hot peppers and jalapeños that you can grab as well. Good place to come with friends.

I was just charged 60 cents each for some BBQ sauce and ranch. I've come here, and other locations, for over 15 years. I can have as much A-1, Tapatia, Ketchup, Mustard or other sauces as I want. Loads of peppers, if you'd like, but charged for ranch and BBQ. Also, they switched to Pepsi products, no more Coke. Someone at corporate has their head up their @$$. Two cheap condiments now 60 cents each (let's charge for the popular ones) and you barely get half a little cup. Could be a game changer????? And now a couple weeks later they posted higher prices across the board. They also give significantly less grilled onions than before. I just waited rhe longest I've ever waited because Google isn't tracking how busy properly, which provably added to people coming in. Arrived to a packed house, stayed that way the better part of an hour. People waiting for takeout were taking up a gew tables while in house diners had no place to sit Priority really needs to be given to counter orders since pick up & delivery people may not be present. Order screen was maxed out the whole time.

My first time eating here I heard that the zucchini fries are great however they only had sweet potato fries and I was going to order a shake and they told me the machine is down no shakes😐 other than that , it's okay Food tasted great I bought a cheese burger and sweet potato fries . 😉

Horrible, look at the chicken i got, very small nothing but breading, and to be honest i was getting nasty looks from the cooks in the back. the burger was good, and the female manager took care of it she replaced the chicken. regardless i must write this honest review.

I visit this place several times a week, and it’s usually quite good. Recently, I had surgery, and my bandage keeps slipping, so I needed to use the restroom to fix it. As I was almost at the restroom door, a bald man (an employee) came out and told me that this is a business—either I order something and use the restroom or not at all. I said I would order afterward, even though it was morning and I had already had breakfast at home. After using the restroom, I placed an order. It’s disappointing that homeless people can use the restroom and drink beverages for free, and no one says a word to them. But as a regular customer, I needed to use the restroom and got this kind of treatment. The employee didn’t even know whether I was going to order or not—he just immediately started saying, “This is a business.”

Got duped into believing the whole "better than In&Out" add. After getting my order wrong twice they gave me an overcooked underwhelming burger and a vanilla ice cream shake with hint of chocolate

The sirloin sandwich what's horrible dry an tasteless. I ended up throwing half of it away I wish they brought back the tri-tip.
