Had the 4 course menu for EUR 39 and it was a feast! Portions were generous and food was delicious.

Great food and service. I booked the table on the Friday for the next daywhich was just as well as when we arrived all tables were reserved

Zufallsfund. Had an amazing menu of the day adjusted to vegetarian when I passed by after my train got cancelled. Waiting time well spent.

Even it was not on the menu, I asked for macaroni vacío et peppe and was so happy by the result. One glasse of red wine is a real glass. Grazie

One of the best dinners I had in Dusseldorf. Would recommend the king prawns and the sea bass. The lamb chops were good but slightly overcooked. Desserts were amazing! Please try the panna cotta… However they do not entertain walk in even if the restaurant is empty. You would need to make a reservation. All in all highly recommended!

Rustic Italian dishes, really welcoming owners. The restaurant was busy and we hadn't booked, but they made space for us and made us feel very welcome. Pizza is excellent, we also had carpaccio and spaghetti Vongole - all really good dishes. 3 dishes, 2 glasses of wine, bottle of water, bread, olives, €45 euros - good value for great food

I came to the restaurant and said that if I ate well I would come 7 days in a row because I was staying for a fair. Very good ambient, calm place, friendly family running the restaurant and very good food. Meat and fish. When I come back in 3 years I will sure come back again. Grazie mile!

Amazing food. Authentic ambience. Small restaurant with 7 tables and there is outdoor seating. A must try if you are in Düsseldorf. We had Dorad, and pasta with prawns. And Mozzarella appetizer. Traveled the world, never tasted Italian like this. And don't forget the Tiramisu.

I can understand the mixed reviews for this place... I had dinner here when in town for a conference and pretty hangry, and it was exactly what I needed! But I can imagine that anyone looking for an Italian fine dining experience may be disappointed. This place is truly Italian, for sure, large portions of quality food and tasty, and music pairing with the food (read: the unavoidable Italian classics). But the food is robust, and so is the wine... still, a good and much enjoyed meal, exactly what I needed! (oh yes, excellent service by true Italians)

Had dinner with my friends a couple of weeks back. Authentic Italian Cuisine. Ample portions, managed mainly by 2 people( think they run the show).Very matter of fact and business like ( If you are expecting asian hospitality...then this could be a bad experience).All said and done , the vegetable spread and the assorted pastas that we ordered were all tasty... It is small place just a 3 minutes walk from dusseldorf hbf( main station).

Food was freshly cooked, wine kept at room temperature, chilled desserts were home-made and finished with a Grappa. Perfect.

I had a great time having dinner Da Bruno. Really liked the suggestions and the cutness of the place. It felt like being and eating in Italy. Just make sure you book before you go otherwise you wont have a seat. (It just shows how great the restaurant is)

Really rude staff. Very unfriendly. They said they had a private party, but it was not true. Other people were actually sitting there! Avoid.

Walked in alone, asked if there was a table for two (the restaurant had several tables available) and he said to me that I would have to wait at least 30 minutes. My friend entered 1 min after, when I was outside, and he immediately sat him down in a table. Disgusting attitude. While we were eating, I saw the same thing happening to at least three different persons, with him selecting his clients. He should be humble and grateful for the people that wants to eat at his restaurant which, let me say, is nothing special. 1 star is way more than what he deserved. I won't ever go back to that restaurant when I'm in Dusseldorf. On the other hand, his wife seemed to be a very humble and pleasant person, being really nice from the beginning to the end and always available to make us feel comfortable.
