Decently sized sports bar with a speakeasy-like bar downstairs. The calamari and pizza fries are good appetizers to split among friends. They have a good happy hour special, but can get really crowded during Fri/Sat nights
Great local place to watch the game and get an IPA. This location has gone through many names over the years, and used to be kinda dingy and divy. The new incarnation did a great makeover and gives the place a gastropub vibe while retaining the low key pub atmosphere.
Really cool sport bar with a decent happy hour. I enjoy the atmosphere, the wait staff and bar staff are polite and professional. The food its delicious. The pizza fries are my favorite.
From Pasadena to my old Westwood stomping grounds Good drinks, excellent specials, tasty and hearty bites, and always warm staff. Chill environment and crowd. All the games on all the screens, what else can you ask for! Second note- a bit more mixology and some premium selections and more of the speakeasy vibe can be found in the lounge downstairs. I'd give them 10 stars!
The bartender, an absolutely charming African-American woman, was so wonderful and gracious. It was my first time in Rocco’s. I will recommend everyone I know to go there.
Great vibe; nil parking, but that's pretty standard. We know a bartender, so we come in about once a month to say hi. Curiously not busy during football (NFL), which is excellent for us (plenty of screens); gets pretty packed when any UCLA game is on, but again that's standard for the area. Solid pizza & pastas; nice selection of draft beers; friendly, competent staff... Good place for all ages (we bring our 2yr old on Sundays, and it's never an issue)
Fun place to hang out with friends! The staff is friendly and very helpful... Once I a sked for a Margherita Pizza which wasn't on their menus and yet they made something very close to it. I should say I would not have even figured it is not really a Margherita Pizza if they hadn't told me. If you are driving you might want to look for public parking nearby.
Such a friendly and fun atmosphere. We were new to the area and treated like kings by our bartender Jeffrey. He is one of the friendliest, helpful hospitable servers we have ever encountered. Support this local bar. Happy Hour is amazing. Sizzling shrimp and Calamari - delicious!!
Very good place with a party atmosphere. Food is tasty but price is reasonable, Bar menu is one of the best and reasonably good priced
Went to a UCLA Grad Bar event here. It was the best grad bar event I’ve been to: good food, drinks, and the atmosphere was legit college dive bar. Fun place.
We used the basement for a special event with friends and family members. Service was excellent. Bartenders were very attentive. Adolfo, David and Michelle were very helpful. The main bar upstairs was full of patrons because it's football Sunday. I would have been there myself watching football if it wasn't for the family event downstairs, lol. Overall I will come here again.
Best bar ever with the best staff!
Our work comes here a lot for happy hours. We come in large groups, unannounced, but the staff does a great job of keeping up with us. They're always really nice and try to hustle despite the crazy rush. Thanks Rocco's!
Very nice place with a nice, homey pub experience. The staff is very professional and the open/glass windows offer a unique vibe that i really like. Thanks.
Marty at Rocco's is an amazing bartender and person. My brother's and I stopped by for a beer as we were in town to say goodbye to our sibling who is dying of cancer. It had been a very rough day and when Marty found out he made sure to brighten our day. He went well above and beyond to make our day a little better and it meant the world to us. The bar and food was great as well. You have a Rockstar working there!
Lunch portions were quite substantial and there were several good beers on tap to choose from. The 5 cheese ravioli lasagna and baked eggplant parmigiana were a huge hit. Can't wait to go back again.
Nice tavern, clean and cozy to hang out. Not too busy on an early Friday evening. Staffing friendly and attentive. Food is great. Had nachos with chicken Drinks are cold and refreshing
It's a good place to drink simply after dinner. There are a lot of people after 6 o'clock. They sell various kinds of beer.
Amazing food and Amazing Service. Food was delicious and big portions for great prices. Ada was our waitress and she was amazing and incitful!!! She made the experience all the better!!
Great bar staff and waitresses. Awesome food, I love the Rocco's burger.
Cool sports bar popular with locals and students. Great vibe and friendly staff. Seems to have decent happy hours.
yes the bartender and the atmosphere is amazing but that WOMAN ordering people left and right… she deserves a raise. so sweet and welcoming while also not judgmentally helpful she deserves a raise. SHE is why i want to come back
The staff has always been so nice. This was my second time here. I ordered the burger and fries and it was so unexpectedly delicious. I asked for it to be cooked medium, it was perfectly cooked. I asked for bacon and american cheese. It was superb. I enjoyed the pineapple draft cider with it, which was also tasty. They gave me so many french fries, I had to take them home and they were still amazing the next day. I highly recommend the burger and will definitely be back.
Very nice experience, as rare visitor in USA I was looking for some place which isn't chain to get some chicken wings. Google maps gave this place as search result and we haven't been disappointed. Good beer, good chicken wings, good prices. A lot of TV's so I believe watch sport is really fun in this place.

I like that it has a live DJ most nights and a deal on at least one drink everyday. The setup is such that the bar is in the middle with people dancing all around it so finding a larger space to dance in could be a challenge. Would recommend
So this place replaced O'Hara's next to UCLA. It definitely looks a lot nicer and more open now. There was a game going on when we got there so it was very loud and crowded. They have a downstairs area that's more of a lounge and the upstairs area is like a sports bar. Downstairs doesn't serve the full menu so we opted to stay upstairs to eat dinner. Unfortunately, it took a really long time for someone to come by to take our order and they ran out of fettuccine for my fettuccine Alfredo, but everything else was fine. The food was pretty good and you get huge portions, which justifies the higher prices I suppose. Overall the place has a fun and lively atmosphere, but I don't think anything will ever beat those Tuesday night pint nights when O'Hara's was still around.
Waitress was not very friendly. Also, instead of asking normally for IDs when we sat down and ordered some beers she said "you all better show me your IDs right now otherwise if I see you with a beer you're getting kicked out of here" (we were all well over age and intended to show IDs to her in the first place....)
Drinks and service are good. Lot of TVs.
Service is excellent. Most of the food is good. But I tried a cocktail that just tasted like cough syrup. Food and drinks are little pricey, but I would definitely go again when it's happy hour or when they have a special.
Cool bar with a nice sports bar atmosphere. There was plenty of TVs all playing different televised sports bar in the center tables around the perimeter. the food was pretty good to service was good and friendly everyone was nice good place to go to watch game I'm sure.
We came by before a Bruins basketball game and had some drinks and snacks. Overall the food was fine, maybe a little greasy and the prices of beer seemed to be a bit much. Seems like a great place to hang out and people watch during something like a Happy Hour.
Food was surprisingly yummy, but the staff could be more attentive. I met a friend after he had been there for close to an hour so when I walked in, I was greeted but not asked if I wanted anything to drink or eat. It took close to 5 minutes to get someone's attention. Not horrible since I was catching up with my friend. Staff was still friendly, just a bit aloof.
No complaints......the bartender was very courteous and quick. I asked for a shot of whiskey (they had a decent selection) and it was a generous portion with a beer chaser and the beer was ice cold, which makes the difference. However, there's no table service after 10, yet there were 2 servers walking around.
Great atmosphere and kind staff during the day. I had lost my debit card and they were proactive in telling me and I was able to pick it up, no problem. I went at night too, and it's packed with UCLA students and because of that, I think the bartenders put less effort into the cocktails (because drunk college students tend to not be picky). Personally that's a drawback for me.
Fun sports bar on NFL Sunday and watched three games at once which I absolutely loved. The garlic fries with garlic aioli was delicious. Their ranch dressing was also spot on. The nachos were good and so were the drinks. The service was excellent. Only wish the bathroom was in a little better shape. No way to dry my hands. One toilet seat was totally broken and no soap. Ladies need our bathrooms in better shape !
Such a cozy place to drink beer with friends and watch sport. Opened until late night. But the kitchen is closed at 22PM. Too many craft beers selection available on taps. 20PM all inside was change to karaoke party with ID checking before access. The price was reasonable.
As a UCLA student that is getting a little tired of the frat parties, Rocco’s is a blast to go to for some night life in Westwood. Good selection of drinks, only wish they did some more specialty cocktails. Can’t be too picky with a college bar though. DJ is phenomenal on the busy nights, always plays great pop hits from today and early 2000’s Overall very fun atmosphere with staff who are there to brighten your night.
Burgers were nice with a generous portion of fries. Side orders were good especially the onion rings.

As a student nearby I think it's decent.
We came here for NFL early Sunday games. Wow lots of TV's! Although not impressed with the craft beer selections and the veggie burrito I got didn't come with the supposedly country style potatoes.
It’s probably a nice place in Westwood that kind of converts into a dance club over most Thursdays. The downside is that they have recently changed the DJ, which has completely changed the vibe for Thursday nights. I would highly suggest them to bring back the previous DJ. Cheers!! ✌🏻
I’ve been here 3x and it’s a good time because of the people I go with. The service is awful. It’s always been slow but the most recent time we ordered a beer and a glass of wine and the bartender took 12 minutes (timed) to process our order from start to finish. We were the only people at the bar waiting. He asked us the twice what we wanted then asked us 3x if we wanted to close our tab. The obvious answer was “yes” bc we drank our drinks and left. That will be our last visit. There are plenty of bars in the area. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Rosco sucks now. Bartenders definitely don't give anything about you as a customer anymore. What a waste of space....
I have never been so disgraced in my Entire adult life, I came in wanting to have a beer and work on the phone a little bit before I had to get home, I come here often, bartender immediately came in and told me I'm too drunk to drink here and that I'm no longer welcome , I took myself and went out, Ive been coming to Rocco's for years, I have all of the memorabilia from all of your locations, this was very unfortunate for me to get kicked out just for being happy and elated I would suggest that the manager call me personally at the number I left with the bar Staff who kicked me out "Josh" was the bartender who threw me out and Alex is the name of the shift manager that I would have talk to have I decided To wait until He arrives Obviously I'm able to write this message so there could be no possible justification to remove me from the bar not even a full minute from the time I arrived until they forced me to leave. This was not okay
While our friends were waiting for us inside, the officer who did not let us in with an excuse was just being racist.
Walked in straight from getting off the job to watch the Eagles game, my second time here. Midway through the second quarter, the bouncer approaches my two top with an attitude and says, “You gotta get up. I need this table for a family.” The place is full but not at capacity, with other tables and situations similar to mine. I ask, “Why?” He responds, “You’ve been here and you haven’t ordered anything.” So I said, “No one has come to my table.” “You order at the bar. Get up.” was his response. “I’m going to order at halftime (which I did).” I asked him, ”If I needed to order to have the table then why didn’t you just say that, why are coming at me so hostile?” He tells me, “You’ve been here an hour and haven’t ordered anything.” I say, “Cause I’m not hungry yet.” He walks off saying, “Go order at the bar.” (As if to be allowing me to do so). I speak to the bartender Adam and relay to him this unprovoked exchange and he says he would speak to the bouncer (I have little faith much was said beyond a quick question and a response). My order comes and at halftime I need to go feed the meter. I placed napkins on top of my food, and drink, to which from my long time understanding, communicates to the bar, and it’s staff, that “I am not leaving, I’ll be back in a few.“, coinciding with my card and open tab still at the bar. 15 minutes later (because that’s how long halftime is) I come back in, my food, my drink, all have been cleared, and someone new is sitting at my table. I go back to Adam and ask “is there something I’m missing here? Why is it so difficult to watch the game and have some food at the table I’ve been sitting at the entire time?“. He responds,” I didn’t know you were gone, the wait staff just come and clear things off the table, can I get you a new order? You can take a seat at the bar.” I do that, the food runner that dropped my order off, I say to him, “could you bring me an extra ketchup?“ He nods yes, and never comes back, choosing to go attend to other patrons for the rest of the night. Fast forward to the fourth quarter late in the game, Adam is long gone and a new bartender has replaced him. With just over two minutes left in the Eagles game, the streaming set up for half the TVs showing it, goes out. The new bartender and the bouncer scramble for over 10 minutes attempting to get the game back on, resolving the situation with now just 15 seconds left. The only reason I chose to watch the game here was because of my first experience earlier this week. There was a woman of color bartending, and training a new hire. Both were attentive, conversational, and had a natural positive energy throughout the night, the exact opposite of this experience. Thanks for the memories.

I'm giving this place a 1 solely off the bathrooms. The doors don't close at all and one stall, the toilet is swiveled into the stall wall. I can't imagine any women come here or work here in this state. Never coming back... If that's how they take care of something as basic as a restroom... Do they take care of anything else?
Shout out to Adam who doesn't know how to make an AMF and also likes to try and start arguments with customers by stating "what's your problem". $50 for three drinks and one of them wasn't even a full pint glass. When he was questioned about the half drink he got defensive and stated "you should know if you are a regular". I had to explain to him that I'm not obligated to know when his happy hour ends or begins nor have I ever been served this drink in a half pint glass ever double or not and I'm from Vegas. He proceeded to tell me that "I don't care where you're from, You're not there" And then proceeded to ask me; "what's my problem". He is very inexperienced in customer sevice, and genuinely tried to start a problem after being questioned about a drink, that he never properly explained to begin with. I understand you're just a bartender but just that alone should help you understand what to say and what not to say to customers. I believe Adam needs to be retrained on his customer service. I wonder how many other customers have had problems with this individual.
