This place is one of our favorite go tos. The Bahn Mi sandwiches are insanely good. Our family craves them and goes out of our way to plan a meal around getting these. The egg rolls are also delightful. The bread is made inhouse and it is killlller. It's such a good rendition of a baguette. 10/10 I highly recommend coming here for something to eat.

Best Banh Mi sandwich in the valley phosure! The way it is supposed to be made, butter and pate with amazing pickled veggies. Throw some soy sauce on the bread and you are transported back to your childhood eating these sandwiches! Cant wait to try them all!

This place is a true gem! I love their sandwiches (#13 with beef is my favorite). The combination of fresh baked baguette and fresh ingredients is without parallel! And I usually always take at least one of their Baguettes home with me because how can you resist that... Really top notch and highly recommended!

Ordered the roast pork. Very big sandwich you can easily split or save the other half for later. I don’t know what liquid they add on top of the sandwich but it was amazing! The bread soaks up all the juices and it’s a flavor bomb with every bite. I will say their pork is no where near as tender as valley of sandwiches.

Sandwiches are so good that I end up never saving the other half. They offer clean seats and tables but nothing to boast about.

Grilled Pork Banh Mi (Banh Mi Thit Nuong) ($9.50): The sandwich is huge. The pork was flavorful, I asked for extra pate ($1.00). The bread is crispy. Bo Bia ($9.50): They were selling it for 3/9.50. The rolls are huuuge. The peanut sauce and chili crisp pairs well with the rolls. Sesame Ball (Banh Cam) ($1.50): it was crispy on the outside, and the bean filling on the inside is not too sweet. Pairs well with coffee. Service: The service took a while which was understandable. Tons of people were ordering to go. But they prepared the food at a reasonable speed. I appreciate that. The lady at the cashier was kind to answer my questions and she recommended some food for me to try, and it was great! Atmosphere: The dining space was clean. A little bit loud, but it's a restaurant so that's expected. Overall the food tasted great. Would come back and try their other banh mi. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Oh my. How did this wonderful banh mi hole in the wall sandwich shop fly under my radar for so long? Awesome banh mI sandwiches, delightfully nice staff. Lots of items on the menu that are not on the wall picture menu, such as soups. Reasonable prices. I thoroughly recommend this restauraunt.

If you love Vietnamese food and sandwiches there's a place in the valley. I was hoping to give it 5 Stars, I really want a good sandwich place in the valley. Unfortunately service was as bad as it could be. They handed my drink to somebody else, didn't tell me when my sandwich was ready and pretty much not interested in the customers. It's pretty easy to get 5 stars for customer service when you just hand them sandwiches. The food was great though.

Love their tofu sandwich. I discovered this place and sandwich about 4 years ago when I was going to nursing school down the street. Delicious then and delicious now.

Owner operated I think for family generations. Nice effort on food, fair prices, sandwiches taste good and worth the effort to go there. It's in a little bit of a somewhat tough part of the city but we go during the daytime and it's fine. My Vietnamese friends also like the food there which tells me that it is closest to genuine preparation that you can find I think.

Great sandwiches! They were very warm and delicious however, the service was terrible. I called to place an order and the person who answered the call took and order, never gave me a time to pick up. I called again and she said, yes? I asked her what time and she said 15 minutes and hung up right away. When I was Picking up the food she pointed at my food and very rude. Great food but maybe don’t expect great customer service.

Bread is good, crunchy and fresh. #1 sandwich had too many fatty pieces of meat. The toppings (carrots & cucumbers) were sparse as well.

Best sandwiches in town but by far the worst service. If you can even call it service... You order then get yelled at to pick up your order and thats IF they don't get busy and completely forget your order. P.s they need to clean their floors... It looks like they havent done so in years.

The place was disgusting. The floor hasn’t been cleaned for like 3 months and you can see the dead cockroaches and crickets on the ground. And then you look at the refridgerators and you see that it’s not even cold. I went there in the summer dying for a cold drink. And guess what, the water was hot. I was so mad I walked out. Sandwiches there are pretty good, but I saw a fly going around the kitchen and landing on the foods. And non of the staff watched it. Disgusting place but the food is pretty good. The people there are rude to u if u don’t speak Vietnamese. And by the way most of the time the toilet ain’t even working. I had to do my business on the side of the toilet and smudged it with my hands. Disgusting.

And when I had called again to ask the next day, the staff just told me "not here" in a yelling manner and hung up on me without explaining anything. I called again and got the same reaction. (did it about 5x) ❌: The staff that I encountered did NOT make any effort to help me figure out how to get a refund. You will only be able to talk to the managers properly if they're there.

I have been coming to this place for more than 20 yrs. on n off. there would always be someone at register and one doing the sandwich alone. today 3pm only one lady. rude or just the way they talk. but she had one glove on left hand and no ok right. she made boba thai tea, she did her thing on register me paying her. she held the machine to tap my card w two hands- mond u w L hand w glove n right hand without. observing her closely n quietly- move to the sandwich - she put on a glove on right hand but did not change her left hand glove. she took a loaf of french bread , cut it w one dirty glove on left n new on right hand. she proceeded to put meat and veggies using her hands one after the other. gross and when I mentioned to her she said something only her can understand went to the back spoke w older man and said he does not speak English. sad how these people prepare food for their cuetomers who pays whT $ they ask for. next time i will make sure to video tape her or who ever makes my sandwich w such care. using gloves for everything - touching dirty register/ money and proceed to touching n prep sandwich n meat etc. if anyone go there please make sure to watch her prepare you sandwich - make her put on new hloves both hands. specially if she is on both register, sandwich making n others.

I didnt expect their sandwich to be THAT spicy. I got number 1 - flavor was good but the bread was kinda old and rock solid. But then I tasted spicy radish or something - it killed all flavor. There is no information on the menu that thats a SPICY sandwich. And I hate spicy food. Terrible

have been a customer here for a very, VERY long time, nearly 20 YEARS! The customer service has always sucked. I've been on the receiving end plenty of times, and I've witnessed it plenty of times while dining in, too, ESPECIALLY to non-Vietnamese customers. I paid cash, didn't get a receipt or change. OK. It was busy. I ordered a #1. I heard them call #1 and I went to grab it and someone else, who I saw come in after me, grabbed it and ran off with it. I said something, I was ignored, then another customer berated me and accused me of cutting. He started speaking Vietnamese to the employees who then suddenly changed their demeanor towards me. On top.of that, the customer tried to "fight me." WHAT? Elderly man or not, I told him to go to sleep. The store was dead when I walked in, became VERY busy after I ordered, and the place was emptied out and I was the LAST customer to be served. Coincidence? I THINK NOT! I've officially had it with this place. I will NEVER go back again after this experience which, to me, seems RACIST.

Bad services, unclear with listed pricing of sandwiches. I'm unsure what I ordered was what I got. Kinda confusing, I asked the guy who served me but I didn't get his answer. My Sandwich wasn't that I expected.

The sandwiches are good. The service is bad. They are really unhappy that you are there. That being said, I eat here often. See photo below: this is the second time I’ve seen them drop straws/drink lids on the unwashed floor and put them back in with the clean lids/straws. Pretty fair representation of the Cleanliness of the whole restaurant.

So I immediately called them and put a claim towards letting them know the situation. Spoke with an older lady who barely spoken any English. This is disgusting. Im never returning here. I also saw an employee that was making my soup lick my container instead of using a napkin to clean it. From the glare I received by the lady at the front, it seemed like she was trying to tell me to go somewhere else because they didn't respect me. Most times, the food was good, but the last time I went-the sandwich pork didn't taste fresh at all. Good customer service and sanitary food handling skills are essential to running a restaurant. I don't know why this place doesn't practice either. So many people go here regardless of how bad some reviews are. As much as I loved the food here, it's not worth being harassed by the staff when I saw the things I did. They talk shit to each other about me as I'm leaving because they don't know I understand the language. I remember when this place was closed down due to their "C" grade after they were sporting a "B" grade for several months. While they do have an "A", I still witnessed what I saw.
