The store was clean, the manager was very nice, all the people working were very polite and friendly, even tho it was after 9 pm and they close at 10 and I stayed there to eat until after 10, it was my first time at this location, and will always go to this same location. While I was ordering I noticed they didn't have any corn cake on the menu and the cashier was very knowledgeable even about the year they stopped selling it .. love it great job

I have never eaten at any El Pollo Loco before. So for years I have been missing out on the amazing food. I ordered two of the 4 piece meals. Then substituted the meat for all chicken breasts with a side of pinto beans and rice. Corn tortillas of course. Then proceeded to eat with friends. It felt like a Pollo-giving dinner.

This was my first time going there and let me tell you that the chicken avocado burritos are amazing they taste very delicious and are made fresh. Staff working there need to be more nice one of the cashier was rude but will definitely come to this place again

Grey healthy choice on the menu. The food is always fresh and the service is outstanding. It's a little pricy for the healthier options but it's packed with flavor and it's filling. Gotta love the voice in your head.

I love this place. The manager remembers you and so glad you came back. They train alot of new people in that store. They really want to make sure you enjoy your meal. And want to make sure it is right.

I ordered catering for 16 people. I ordered about 1 hr and 45 mins before I needed it and they were able to accommodate it. The food was ready by the time I got there (I was late by 15 mins) so that was a relief since I was running late. I didn't know they deliver for just $5, so I think that is a great value for the service. Might use their delivery in the future. The food I ordered was correct and complete. They provided the napkins, utensils and plates... everything was there as I requested. The food was still hot, it didn't disappoint. I was happy with the whole experience and purchase. Very fast and convenient.

The food is delicious and healthy and the portions a good. Quality-wise, I would say Pollo Loco is far superior to most fast-food places. And I have always been happy with the service at this specific location. Keep it up Pollo!

Love this el pollo loco. There are 2 others near me and they are terrible. Thus el pollo loco has fresh food and fast service. The portions are perfect and that's huge difference from the other 2 locations. My salad was full of chicken. The sides were packed full to the top. The workers there are very nice. You can see they work hard and are always busy. Inside is a little chaotic and could use renovating. The corner is a bit sketchy but the drive thru serves you quickly and again, the ladies that work there are super nice.

The last time, the grilled chicken delivered to us via Postmates was burned first time it happened. We’ve been ordering fr pollo loco once or twice a month. I was disappointed but three days ago, I messaged the delivery person to check first the chicken. So we enjoyed eating our lunch unlike last month , burned and hard to bite. It’s like a left over from yesterday. Do not take advantage of person ordering via phone just because they can’t see how you prepare their ordered meals. Let’s be fair, we pay, reciprocate it with efficiency and honesty.

I like this location, it's a but of a pain going to the drive thru, not their fault its just the lay out of the area that it's tucked in and people who park adjacent to the lane make it difficult at times. That being said the service is great and the food is always great

Great staff they are always friendly and we share laughs. The cashiers are great and the rest of the stuff is always making sure there are clean tables, no trash, and salsa station is full every time I go there. The cashier Vanessa is great and always willing to help!

This is my favorite pollo loco spot, the chicken always fresh juicy . Better than other pollos loco locations in my city.

To take a semi brake from Nutrition regimen, El Pollo Loco is my go to. I always get 2 piece Breast & Wing meal with Rice & Broccoli as my side orders. Every once in a while I will add Diet Coke with Breast/Wing meal. Majority of the time, no issues with order. El Pollo Loco is a good place to eat out and keep it healthy at the same time...😊

I have eaten at El poile loco a couple times recently and it was delicious. They have a couple of $5.99 boxes that I found to be two meals they have some kind of bee burrito in there and I'm not crazy about burritos but this is a not oversized perfect one very delicious filled with all kind of good stuff and two tacos and a drink a medium drink for that price. One of the boxes they have even has those cinnamon spirals in it so you get a little dessert. I don't know why I fell into eating there again that I've truly enjoyed the couple meals I've had there and brought home

The food here is always good and fresh. My favorite is the original pollo bowl combo for just $5. You just can't beat that. They also mail out coupons and have coupons in their app. It's definitely one of my favorite places to eat. I highly recommend it.

I bought a original pollo bowl and keto taco. Omg, the keto taco is incredibly yummy. The bowl was good, however I didn't like the rice. I don't recall there being rice in it before but perhaps I said no rice previously. Tje taco made up for it. I just started going back to El P. recently after getting food poisoning a year ago. The Keto taco is my new favorite.

Love this place for a simple dinner my only complaint is the pieces keep getting smaller not sure if they found miniature chickens other than that great flavor great service

I wanted to try something different so, I tried the Street Taco: Chicken Avocado. It was amazing! They now have options for those who are on Keto. As well as a Vegan meal. When entering, it did feel a little stuffy and there wasn't much of social distancing, but the food was great.

The inside was closed by 9:00 p.m. and the drive-thru wouldn't take the card that I was using, the in the drive up they can only take it inside so therefore I didn't get any food this time, but every single time my husband and I have gotten food there it is very good!!☺️🥴

Parking was a disaster getting in and out, the lines inside was okay but the food orders took a long time to fill because they were making the drive thru a propriety.

Drive through is the best way to shop here. Going inside is always a hassle. Only one cashier is open inside.

The drive thru can be a tight fit if you have a large vehicle. This location is on par with the rest so you can expect the usual tasty chicken that they make. Service is always pretty quick. Drive thru is my main gripe for this location.

Never had bad food from here but my order is wrong almost every single time and I have to call or go back. They do try and fix it though which is why I give three stars.

I love pollo loco and forever will but I did find a nice long brown hair in the chicken my son and I where enjoying 🤤🤗🤭 so that's the only reason I left a review

I used to frequently order El Pollo Loco way back in the day 90s and 2000s, when prices were cheap & portions were very generous. Stopped going when it was cheaper to just drop by the local market and just buy a whole rotisserie chicken. But today I just wanted some chicken thighs quick so decided to go through the drive thru. Yikes! 3 thighs, pretty small in size, and 2 sides of measly portions of broccoli for about $15!!! For that price I could get 2 whole rotisserie chickens at the market! 🐓🐓🍗 But customer service at this location was primo! 👍👍

The old skinny lady who took my order got it all wrong from my name to my order being to go and the little girl who gave me my food was really rude when i should've been rude for having to wait for them to correct my oder. Not coming back.

Customer service is not good! Especially in the drive thru. Some people don't know about going above and beyond to make customer happy.

I am tired of their bad service. I ask for extra salsa every time and they give me like two small containers about an inch tall or so and barely fill them half way. I have ordered Mac n cheese several times, and the last two times, I have gotten corn pieces in my Mac n cheese(I do not order corn). This has happened TWO times in a row from my experience. I am not sure if they are sloppily opperating from the food trays and using the same serving spoon, but what ever it is that causes the problem has to be stopped. They have also gotten orders wrong on many occasions. On a more happy note, the flavors are great if they are not blended with other things I did not order, I highly suggest the Pollo bowl, one of my favorites. I am not saying not to go to the El Pollo Loco, but it isn’t something I would choose if I had the option.

The Manager Jose was very unprofessional, in helping us as a customer to have access to the restroom , he said he didn't have tokens to use restroom, and that we needed to pay with quarters to have access to restroom " ..why must I pay when I am a paying customer " ....The Young guy that's was there was very professional, and very helpful " hi 5 to the Young gentleman for making my prior visits great " It's very disturbing when Manager behave in this manner,, and treat there customers very poorly " I hope Pollo Loco hires more professional managers that want to really help their customers in a more professional manner"... I bought tostada for $8. The container is big, very nice, and big. But that's the only positive things that I can say. I can estimate that the tostada include one spoon of beens, one spoon of rice, chicken breast dry and hard to choo, lettuce and tomato in small amount. I don't think it's worth $8.

We just asked for the tostadas and then the lady asks with a combo then we say yes then she asks what kind of drinks. We say it then she says we don’t have LETTUCE and AVOCADO...we’re like whaaaat? 😂 My mom literally just got a salad from there. I only give it two stars because the food is good.

The food is good. And their churros 👍But they always messed up my order. And we either have to share or we don't cuz we didn't like what we got delivered.. And since i always get it delivered! it's not like they can get it fixed. I called twice because I got tired of it.. but my husband doesn't like to complain. Anyways .. they gave me credit for it. Ordered food for delivery, and after an hour or so we decided to call and see what was going on. Called for about 15 minutes on and off and the restaurant wouldn't answer phone . Had to cancel order after long wait without an update on our order at all.

I usually love El Pollo Loco. The salad was old. All of the salsas were old (Old tomatoes yuck!). Greens/cilantro was old and gross.

They gave me old salsa. I had food poisoning for 24 hrs. I called to let management know and no one ever came back to the phone.

Horrible Horrible service i go to pollo loco order through the drive thru they take my oder and I then say I'm going to pay debit I attempt to pay and they say the transaction didn't go through so I have to pay cash I then check my bank account and it then says the transaction in fact did go through so I try asking the worker why I must pay cash if the transaction already went through that would be like paying double they don't know what to say so I then ask to speak with the manager. BIG MISTAKE. The manager then comes already with a attitude and doesn't even try to explain what could possibly be going wrong , upset I try and give her the money to which she then throws at my face and then says she refuses to serve me. Life has been hard for us all and yet they still have the audacity to view you in a different more sarcastic way when using coupons. 2 days ago my family and I bought a family order of the 12 piece chicken. We used a coupon and the lady was very rude and had such a bad attitude towards my mother and did not give her plates and utensils. No sauces, chiles and lemon slices. My mother had to ask several times for the sauces chiles and lemon slices, after asking she still had not been given plates nor utensils. However, the American man that was in front of my mother in the line was treated very well and was given the utensils, plates and other items without even asking for them. Very terrible. The chicken was not fresh. It was stale, harden and burned. Seemed like it was just pre heated and served to us. Don’t take your services here. They clearly don’t care for their customers and probably aren’t following their guidelines they should be with their food.

I've been coming to this location for decades. Today will be my last visit for at least awhile. I ordered via online for a curbside pickup. I went to the restaurant and clicked on the I'm here button on my phone. A few minutes later I waited and nothing. An employee was at the door so I asked about my order. He came out with an entirely different product (for a customer also called Tim) from what I should have gotten. I told him what I should have recieved and then he said OK and went back inside the restaurant. So I waited and nothing. So I called the restaurant to check on my order. A gal answered, came out and said she doesn't have my order. I said I do have the number for my order but she ignored me. Then she said I should, get this, order again. I did reorder but from another El Pollo Loco and cancelled the order from this location. The only thing I could think of is that some dimwit combined mine and the other Tim's order into one. But that can't be. We both have different last names.

Terrible delivery service. Ordered delivery an hr ago and the guy still hasn't arrived. I called the store but the line just continued to ring with no answer. Once he came after an hour I told the driver I would like to cancel my order and he told me just give me $10 and I'll give you the food. I gave it to him because I felt bad, but I told the store I wanted my order canceled. So if he pocketed my $10 I would like to report theft within your company, and I was very un satisfied with the quality of service given, thanks to my hour delivery I was late to work myself. Have you ever walked into a place and smell things that you didn’t wanna smell? I’m talking about like germs!!? That’s exactly what happened to me with this particular El Pollo Loco in Canoga Park. I walked in hungry and once I got a whiff of the dirt that I smelled in there like old grease and germs and some people are very sensitive to smell so for those who may not believe that that’s why you got that noggin on your face supposed to use it some are more sensitive than othersbut anyway it smelled terrible in there and I turned around I left so I can’t give you a review on what the food taste like cause I never pulled any money out of my pocket to purchase.

I understand the fact that it was close to New Years Eve when the business is busy, but the people who are working here can't get a food order correctly. When my family came to order the family meal special, we expected it to come with everything that they had to offer. Instead, the people had decided not to put in the salad and churros. They even ignored us when we asked for extra paper plates. By the time we realized that they screwed up our order, it was too late to go back and also because it was raining. I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants to go there.

El Pollo Loco Chicken is good and feels healthy. I will never get it from this location again, however. I was in the drive thru for more than 30 minutes. I have been served a leisurely meal at a sit down restaurant and ordered dessert afterward in that amount of time. They were cash only which would have been a huge problem if I hadn't had a hundred tucked in my wallet. I didn't want to spend it, but I had no choice. By the time we found out it was cash only, we were already stuck in the 30 minute line. Once we got to the window it was another 10 minutes, the whole time with them holding my 100.00 bill and not giving me my change. They nearly forgot our drinks, and when I reminded them, they asked me what size and what we ordered. I said large, and he handed me two mediums. I asked about the larges. He said that I had paid for mediums. After all that delay, stress, cash only, and everything else, the least he could do would be to give me large drinks. No one apologized. Unacceptable. In LA, we have other sources for our El Pollo Loco. Don't go here.

I ordered this through DoorDash with this Pollo Loco location. Not all of my food arrived, the food that did was decent. But this, really made me throw up. I was eating the chips and found a dead roach in the end of the bag!!! Ugh 🤮 Just taking the photo made me wanna throw up. Idk if this is a one off thing but if there are roaches in that pollo loco, there must be a ton more. Never ordering from here again. Honestly through up after I saw that.
