Food here was delicious and to add it was a kid friendly place. We brought our four kids and we felt welcomed. Customer service was amazing! We’ll definitely be coming back as we drove 3 hours from home.

My mom and I went here for a late lunch/dinner this Mother’s Day and left very satisfied. The food here is so flavorful and is a very good price for the amount of food you get! The staff also makes you feel very welcomed and get your food to you quickly. My mom devoured her wings, and that’s saying a lot as she is a wing connoisseur. I’m also not a potato wedge girl, but I loved these fries 😋. Will be back soon!!

The Baseline

The Baseline: For a Chicken restaurant you need to have good quality chicken, good sides, good sauce/rubs, and preparation of all ingredients. Food: I had the Nashville Bird Sammie, the beef tallow fries, and a Mexican Coke. The Sammie was cooked well with a good application of breading and served at a hot temperature. If I had to give it a hit it would be that it was not spicy like I was expecting with a Nashville Sammie. If I were to get it again I would request it sauced and tossed in a hot sauce before it was nestled on the bun. The bread on the Sammie was great and it was imprinted with the Saucy Bird logo (great touch). I also had the fries… yes, Yes, YES on the fries. They are really wedges and they are fried in beef tallow. Beef and Potato are natural friends so I recommend. I also had a Mexican Coke so real sugar sodas are always better than overly sweet corn syrup soda. Also the waitress gave me a full chilled water bottle with a glass of ice. Loved that. Service: I had great service and the waitress that took my order and made sure I was taken care of. I asked for Blue cheese because the sammie came with carrot and celery sticks. I was also given a chilled water bottle for my water so that was really extra. Ambiance: If you are a Buffalo Bills fan you will love the ambiance. I am not but I am also not a hater so I appreciate the show of support. The table seating and decor is well placed and arranged. It is a very comfortable restaurant to eat at.

Buffalo born, LA inspired with some LA swagger = Saucy Bird!! They have street parking. As we walked up to Saucy Bird, you see the cute bird on top!! It’s chicken and football themed. TV’s were playing sports. They also have a huge movie screen that plays a movie!! So cool! They use high-quality ingredients that are mostly locally sourced. Their chicken is free range, vegetarian fed and hormone and antibiotic free; always fresh, never frozen! You can taste the difference!! We tried: - Nashville Bird Sammie (MUST-TRY) - Buff Style Sammie (MUST-TRY) - Lemon Pepper Wings - Bourbon BBQ Wings - Mixed Green Salad - Coleslaw - Triple Cooked Fries (fried in beef tallow) Loved how crispy their Chicken Sammies are!Their sauces are all made in-house. They have veggie options available, like their Eggplant Parm Sammie. Lala was so friendly and had wonderful customer service!!

A Gal could have these wings every weekend - their buffalo sauce rocks and the potato wedges were delish, seasoned perfectly and crunchy. I also loved their sweet ice tea. I will be back to try the coleslaw and much more 🤪🤪

I've tried two flavors of the wings and about 4 of the sandwiches so far. So here's the good stuff. The sandwiches and fries. The chicken in the sandwiches is dark meat, which is amazing in juiciness and flavor. If you don't want any type of sauce, the naked version is great as well. They also have a vegetarian option, which includes oyster mushrooms, but I haven't tried that yet. The fries are steak fries. It tasted amazing without anything on it. The tallow just elevates fries to another level. The wings itself are a good standard of what wings should be. They're good, but it doesn't set itself apart from other good wing places. The Sichuan sauce didn't taste like Sichuan. It didn't have that mala taste that I was expecting. The wings comes with some carrots and celery. The cool thing about the carrots were that they were heirloom, so there were some purple and white carrots. I opted for the ranch as a dipping sauce. The ranch had dill, so if you like that, then it's for you, but I'm not personally a fan of dill. This place is definitely worth a try.

Really really good food! Both wings and chicken sandwiches were crisp. Beef tallow fries were beyond the imagination. I was told that there was a parking space in the back.

Had a great meal at The Saucy Bird. We ordered the chicken fingers in lemon pepper and classic, both were delicious and cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Service from Lala was warm and welcoming, and the food came out fast. Definitely coming back when I’m craving solid comfort food.

Came by on a fly and we are so glad we “winged” it. Their food is tasty and fresh. Loved the veggies that came on the side and the fries are must try. They are tripled fried and so delicious. My son had the lemon pepper tenders and he usually doesn’t eat much and he ate almost both tenders. We will definitely be back!!

My girlfriend and I stopped off at the Saucy Bird today for the first time and it did not disappoint! This place is amazing. Great little neighborhood place and the owner was so kind and friendly. He was great! My friend got the chicken wings and I got the buffalo chicken tenders and we shared the incredible tallow fries. Everything was so delicious from the fries, wings and tenders to the homemade blue cheese and ranch dressing. I love the Buffalo Bills theme too. I can't wait to take my husband to try them. It is hard to find a great wing place and this place is the best in town to me. I will be coming here all the time. I highly recommend it.

This place is amazing. We ordered a different assortment of wings for a fight night and were pleased with all of them. Also, maybe not something you look for with wings but, the servings of celery and carrots were fresh and generous! We didn’t get to appreciate it but the inside of the restaurant is very well done.

amazing place! as someone from buffalo, i’ve been looking for a place with good wings and this place surpassed my expectations. got the hot wings, loganberry wings, the chicken sandwich and loganberry lemonade. all amazing choices. great blue cheese. amazing decorations all decked out with bills pictures, jerseys and other fun stuff. truly delicious food and i will be back!

I tried the saucy bird for the first time yesterday and I was immediately blown away by the excellent customer service. The ambiance of the restaurant alone is a great vibe for anyone looking to enjoy great food while watching the game. The owner himself is from Buffalo and his genuine demeanor makes you feel right at home. Also, I thought I hated blue cheese dressing up until yesterday. The owner provided a complimentary side as he makes it in house. Therefore, its served fresh daily. The fries were served hot and fresh. If you're in the area please give this place a chance you will not regret it!

LaLa made our visit to Sauce Bird such a great experience. From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It’s an unsuspecting football themed wings spot, and her service really elevated the whole meal. She checked in at just the right moments, made great recommendations, and made us feel taken care of without ever being overbearing. The food itself was great. The chicken had an excellent crisp and the seasoning was really well done. I enjoyed the dish with one sauce, and everything came out hot and fresh. The only thing that would make it even better is adding a side of carrot and celery veggies to round out the menu because theirs carrots are nice and fresh. Overall, LaLa’s service is what made the visit memorable. She brought great energy to the table and is a big reason we’ll be back.

It was quiet when we were there mid day, but could see this being a great game day spot once they get their liquor/beer sales soon. Buffalo wings were some of the best I’ve had on the Westside and the truffle fries were outstanding. Prices were fair considering portions and how good the food was. Sounds like they’re working on finalizing liquor license. That good of food and a big projector for games, I’m sold. If you’re looking for fantastic wings on the west side, you’ve found the spot.

Honestly one of the best chicken sandwiches and wings in LA. Love how crispy, fresh and flavorful the food is here. In addition, staff was great. The only downside about this place is that it's a Buffalo Bills restaurant/ bar... but as a Pats I'm willing to look past that since the food is that good.

Crispy Oyster Mushroom This was very light and not oily, which I appreciated. However, I wouldn't pair it with BBQ sauce again—I'd suggest trying a different dip or sauce. 3. Truffle Fries This was the best item we ordered. You can request to have them fried in different oils, which is a nice touch. Final thoughts: The food didn’t quite feel worth the price. I get that things are getting more expensive for no real reason, but $50 for two meals and a side of fries felt steep. I can’t actually speak to service or atmosphere because I did get this door dashed but… if you’re from upstate NY you know good chicken wings. This spot claims to be from buffalo but come on guys :( the wings were soooo tiny with barely any meat on them and not nearly saucy enough either. I think switching the wings, making sure they’re extra crispy and extra saucy will go a long way. I will say I ordered blue cheese and they gave me ranch… which it’s fine because the ranch was actually solid! But I would’ve loved to try the blue cheese.
