Is wonderful garden outside with lots of pretty flowers and every table inside has a base of live cut flowers. Fried zucchini is served here! Nobody else offers that.

My 6 year old son says they have the greatest hot dogs he's ever eaten! He's a very picky eater and has a hot dog obsession so you can take his word ;) This is a great spot for a casual dinner and a Drive Thru window that is a great alternative to typical fast food places. You wait longer, but you're still in your car and is a great convenience.

What a fantastic little gem this place turned out to be! The food is really good. I got the gyro combo with fries and what a treat that was! PERFECT gyro and tzatziki! I got a chance to chat with the owner and she was a DELIGHT. What a sweet lady. She keeps a very clean restaurant, too. The staff have been very helpful, patient and highly knowledgeable of the intricacies of the ingredients on the menu. I came in with my fiance and our two young sons and we felt comfortable and unjudged when inevitable tantrums were thrown. I'll be back again... and again... and again! HIGHLY recommended. Oh, also, it's quite a diverse selection of food to choose from and everything was great. Chicken tenders? Real chicken and perfect. Quesadilla? Delicious. Salad? Fiancé loved it. Gyro, like I said, fantastic! I'm gonna try their cheeseburger next.

This restaurant definitely deserves 5 stars. They are fast, food is reasonably priced and the quality is good. I've ordered their salmon, chicken and steak salads. All of them were fresh and delicious.

I hadn't been to this place in about 13 years, and I wasn't hungry, but I was in the area so I decided to visit. I got my go to, a grilled chicken sandwich and zucchini sticks. As soon as I took a bite of my sandwich I couldn't stop eating and I love the zucchini sticks and the dressing that comes with it, I could probably just drink it. I had to get an order of zucchini sticks to take home for later. I just wish I lived closer.

Had a combo for lunch A lamb and beef wrap, with a small salad (instead of fries), and a small bottle of water (instead of soda). Beef and lamb were both very tender. The sauce was very tasty without being spicy. The salad was a nice surprise. With spinach, shredded purple cabbage, and a few veggies I couldn't identify. Definitely not your usual side salad. The ranch dressing was good. It came to under $9 which I thought was reasonable, especially since they didn't skimp on the lamb in the warp. I definitely order this again. They have a menu that is quite varied. Choices include Regular or veggie or turkey burgers,; burritos with various fillings, four kinds of meal size salads, ect. There are also side orders, fountain drinks, shakes, root beer float, desserts, ect. I was famished when I got there. My stomach left full and very satisfied. I'm not in that neighborhood often; I will definitely go back when I am!!

Great little hangout, clean, quiet, good customer service, and best of all excellent food. I used to be down there just about every day for lunch if I wasn't busy at work. Guys at work used to ask me, If the food was good there cuz they'd always seen my truck parked at the Grill. And I would tell them, let me put it to you this way. When you go some where to eat and you always see the same people there every day, you know the food has to be good or they wouldn't go back. I'm retired now and live in Pico Rivera. I still go down there once or twice a month to meet my buddy from work, there for lunch.

Love their cheesburgers. Besides fatburger best I ever had. Live across the street so when I'm lazy I just cross the street for late night dinner or lunch Cheesburger combo. Lettuce, cheese, grilled onions, mayo and ketchup. I always like to add mushroom for extra charge. Combo is about $8.50w/ tax included. Includes fries and a drink. Less than minimum wage. Cant beat that price 😎

There's nothing I've had here that I wouldn't recommend. As diverse as the menu can be, it all tastes great! The burgers, sandwiches, salads, salmon, chicken, beef tacos (corn tortillas!), chili cheese fries and corn dog are all top notch! There's really something here for everyone, making it a great option when you're not quite sure what you want or when you want multiple types of cuisine. The food is very "restaurant quality" despite getting it through the drive-through. I only wish they were open later!

Adorable place, I love to dine in when I can, but I'm usually in a hurry and love the take-out (awesome drive through too). lots of windows, plants, light and bright, clean, great food, great staff.

Randomly we went in with my two little daughters on a weekday late afternoon. We received our orders super fast. They have kids menu with more options, all of them go with apple/orange juice and french fries. I loved that there were no salt on the fries so kids won't have a huge amount of salt intake.

That place is my favorite since I was a youngster. I used to work around there my auntie used to live around there. As far as I can say I have always loved their food and their service. So this is bias 20 years or more. O I love the food there. I order lamb Gyros. And a lemonade.

Stopped in for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised with multiple food offerings. Went with the Carne Asada Quesadilla. Steak was well flavored and was very happy with the choice. Will return when I am in the area again. Service was great, manager/owner even stopped by to say hi.

Have been going to Sunny Grill for years and years. The food is real and prepared fresh. Much cleaner and more satisfying than fast food restaurants. The atmosphere is attractive and they have a lovely patio. Also WiFi. I love to take my work, get lunch, sit out on the patio, and have a nice little break from my usual work setting. I recommend the turkey burgers, fries, or if you're in the mood for sweet a pineapple shake is delicious.

I’ve lived in Mar Vista and Venice (Westiiiiiiiiiiiide!) for half of my life and Sunny Grill has been my go-to spot for 20 years. Great food and service. They literally never get my order wrong! The chicken gyro, quesadilla and grilled chicken sandwich are my favorites. Yes, the drive-thru can take awhile when there’s a line, but it’s fresh food and well worth it.

Literally ordered over the phone, longboarded 1 block and found my food ready when I arrived 2 minutes later. The burger was so good I ordered another before I left. I come each week because they’re quicker than fast food, and the food tastes healthy and leaves us feeling great. Even my vegan girlfriend loves coming here. Way to go Sunny and team!

I was working around the neighbourhood, got hungry and decided to look on google to find a place to eat around there. I saw the picture of the gyro and decided to head there. I’m glad I wasn’t disappointed. The food was great, tasty and fresh. I def will be going back anytime I need to grab a bite in the neighbourhood.

This is a good place with a large variety of food. The food quality is average and might suffer as a result of the diversity of what they offer. The food is pretty good, the restaurant is clean, and they have a nice outdoor seating area and a drive-through. It is distinctly American in its design but their are many food options ranging from hamburgers to burritos and salmon fillet sandwiches. I recommend the classic hamburger or BLT. The sandwiches are good and so are their fries. The prices are also very reasonable.

This is the proverbial hole in the wall neighborhood secret. Have lived in the area for eight years and just found out about this place. Super nice staff. Great food choices. My garden burger deluxe was super delicious. The patio could be prettied up and made more accessible and welcoming, so that passerbys don't miss out on this fantastic gem.

Neat place and the food tastes good and fresh as advertised. Others with me loved their chicken sandwich. I had the cheese burger that tasted good but it's a lot more bun than patty. Luckily, the buns are very good so if you have to eat a lot of bun, this place makes it better.

Even though I didn't like their burgers at first, but after ordering a few times I can say that their burgers are good enough and aren't expensive if to buy them without fries and drinks. As far as I remember, a double cheeseburger cost $6.51 with taxes. Which isn't that high compared to fast food burgers with taxes, but the food is slightly better here. So it you don't want to pay much, this place has ok burgers.

Today, I ordered the breakfast burrito, I honestly thought it would be bigger. However, it tasted so good! 😋 The food tastes homemade which is better than going to a fast food joint. The lady with white hair was not very friendly in the beginning when she took my card for payment but then said "have a nice weekend" with a little smile when she gave me my order. I read all the negative reviews, but honestly I wouldn't take the "rudeness " personal. I'm sure she's busy, and stressed running a business. Definitely coming back here. I have been going to this place of business for their Buffalo burger combo for years. The foodis always great, but the owner and the workers are not very friendly. They don't greet you and everyone seems to have a very negative attitude. The atmosphere of the place is warm and beautiful,but the attitude of the counter workers and the owner not so "Sunny". I am reading the reviews and I am thankful that the demeanor wasn't personal .

Food is good. Owners always have a bit of attitude, not in a bad way, but they came from Greece, dug in their heels in LA, and let you know it. Sons still have a Hummer and Jeep all terrain outside. Too much bragging for a mom pop shop .

Had a gyro, onion rings, greek salad and BLT in my order. Gyro is the pre sliced kind, not off a spit. Smallish not fully loaded as one would expect from a gyro sandwich. Tasted fine and the tzatziki was decent. Onion rings were overdone. Salad presented nicely and was good. The blt was fine. Was abt $38 bucks. In a pinch the gyro will do, but only if my other place was closed. Food was prepared pretty quick.

The male individual who takes phone orders is a bit rude but my visit was saved by the food. Not the first time dealing with this guy. 3 stars for the simple fact they had a nice flavor and the ingredients seem to be fresh or fresher than most burger stands.

My wife and I went for dinner. She had a turkey burger. I had the pastramiburger. Both of us felt nausea and threw up after leaving the place. The casher an older lady is not friendly at all. My wife asked to have hot tea for the combo. The casher made a face as if my wife asked her to pick the tea leafs and grind it into green tea powder. The service and food has gone down hill . They undercook the meat in my breakfast burrito every time, even after asking for well done. Will not be spending anymore money here.

Do not go to this grill. We were denied using the bathroom even though we were paying customers. The blonde woman refused to serve us even though we wanted to purchase food and beverages. I have never been treated this way at a restaurant.

Garden Burger was horrible!!!!!..very greasy no flavor and very little vegetables. And salad I ordered was a very small salad served almost in a cup only had two baby cherry tomatoes in it.. and customer service was horrible... the cashier was constantly on the phone texting or playing a game. We were in the drive thru on a Wednesday afternoon, and as I was ordering for myself & kids, I saw a mouse in the foliage below the menu sign. I immediately lost my appetite, and figured it’s relatives could be inside. I know rodents are part of LA but this was too close for comfort for me.

A while ago, my family came and was great service and burgers. Unfortunately, an older lady was here rude and unfriendly. Not sure whats up her alley. We won't be coming back. I really try to help the small business out here in los angeles but when the service is service is bad. It's time to closed the doors.

The host with the long hair was absolutely lovely and very friendly, went above and beyond to give my dog a treat, the food was excellent. However, while waiting for my order an older woman with grey hair was absolute berating the counter attendant for some mistake he may or may not have made. She was screaming at him like a spoiled child. Not sure if she is a manager or an owner, but that kind of behavior to anyone is ridiculous much less so in a professional environment and towards an employee. Happy holidays lady Scrooge!

My girlfriend and I discovered Sunny Grill a little over a month ago. We were becoming regulars since it's down the street from us. As much as we wanted to make it our new local burger spot, we came across the elderly lady with shoulder-length hair. She made us drop this place in a heartbeat. My girlfriend was the first to tell me about her and said she was very rude and didn't say hi or greet her. I don't care for these things, but she does, and others do. BUT WHAT REALLY DID IT FOR ME was this last time I went, she was very dry, I don't mind that part, but the way she mistreated her employee, who was a very kind person. She humiliated him in front of me due to a small mistake. He was going to charge me for a ranch that was under $5. She scolded him because they don't accept cards if it's under $5. She told me, "I can't charge you," and walked away without letting me say a word. She refused to sell me the ranch and didn't even ask if I had cash instead of a card. Literally walked away. I didn't want to confornt her or anything, I didn't care too much but again, others might. I just hate how she talks to her employees. We will not come here again and her business.

The lady at the Register: older with grey hair and glasses is : BEYOND RUDE!!! She was kind of rude on the phone but I ignored that assuming it was pretty busy during lunch time. I go here pretty often like once a week or 4-6 times a month. Anyways considering the fact that I called my order in once I got there I paid and took the food..”first mistake,” you get what you pay for. While checking before leaving noticed the order had an extra order of fries which I paid for and didn’t want them so I politely and with a low tone let her know lol this is where things went so bad... In response the lady used a very loud and obnoxious tone to try to tell me I’m wrong about what I ordered. She went on and on for 5 mins again telling me that I was wrong and regardless of the clear misunderstanding she proceeded to go back and forth in front of like 5-6 other customers in line. She has the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. Another time I witnessed her training a new hire and she was so ignorant and over bearing to the guy he is really tall didn’t deserve the treatment. She just shouldn’t work with people or should check herself from now on before entering the restaurant. Just move her to a different role. I don’t believe she should be fired but I’ll def never eat there again That’s a $-120.00 monthly loss from a loyal customer $$$ Expensive Cost Does not Match the Quality of food. This review is due to the owner’s attitude (older lady with long white hair). Doesn’t greet you and just stands there rudely just begrudgingly waiting for you to order. Also forgot to order coffee with my order and she didn’t let me order because there is a “$5 credit card minimum” that’s not noted anywhere that I saw. She just smirks and raises her eyebrow at me. People say the prices are reasonable.. and they are but the portions are small. I can’t support a business with a horrible owner and they have only like two to three actually “Greek” options. Byeeeee forever.

I’ve been to Sunny Grill in Mar Vista twice now—once almost a year ago and again today. The first time, the older lady working there was extremely rude, but I let it go, thinking maybe she was having a bad day. Everyone goes through things. But after going back today, it’s clear this is just how she treats people. She was just as nasty—cold, dismissive, and clearly unhappy to be there. It honestly feels like she hates working there, and it shows in how she talks to customers. If you can’t treat paying customers with even basic respect, maybe it’s time to bring someone else in who actually wants to be there. And let’s be real—the food isn’t even that good for her to be acting the way she does.

Someone teach them how to use the credit card machine. They said it didn't charge me $15.98, then they charged me $8 more? They were taking forever to try to figure out what they did and it took forever just to get them to hand me my card back. They didn't give me my food since they were so confused as to whether they charged me or not, and now I have to call my credit card company. Terrible customer service and I've been coming here for years. Never again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. There was a young girl working the window and she was very rude. I greeted her at the window and she didn't respond. She then asked me how I was paying and I said Apple Pay. She snatched my phone from my hand and took it to the back. She was gone with my phone for a good 8 mins. No thank you for the wait and no smile. After she handed me my food I still thanked her wished her a good day as I have manners. She did not respond. just a blank stare. Whoever the owner of this establishment needs to re-train their employees. Fries were bland. Burger was soggy. I'm not concerned about the food as it wasn't my cup of tea but maybe it would be someone else's. However, I am concerned about the rude staff they have serving customers. To the owner or manger please remind your employees that customers are what keep the establishment open and being kind is to be a decent human. Won't be returning. I truly hope the staff works on being friendly to their guest. It'll go a long way for their business.

Food was mediocre. Service was awful. Walked in, and Noone bothered to say or offer any sort of acknowledgment. An older lady took my order behind the counter, but not bc she asked what I would like. She just stood there, and I assumed she's who I ordered with. Prior to ordering I asked if she had wifi in the establishment bc I needed to do some work on my laptop. She said that we use the Mar vista library wifi, which is an open connection. I asked if the connection was good or spotty. She said it was good. So i decided to order based on the fact that i could use my laptop Ordered my sandwich, and she didnt even bother to ask me if i wanted anything to drink. I sat down, and opened my laptop, and OF COURSE, there is no Mar vista library wifi! I pointed that out to her and mentioned that there is a connection labeled sunny grill. To which she shrugged and said she couldn't give me the password for their wifi. Never coming here again.

When I walked up I smiled at lady coming outside with food on a tray, only to find out she works there, gentleman behind counter checking on orders never acknowledge me standing there viewing the menu, guys in back cooking looked at me looked at the guy checking orders, nobody said anything. Lady that took food tray out, came back in didnt say anything walked behind the counter started talking to guy still checking the orders. It was like I was invisible so I left. If you can't acknowledge me say something, not even eye contact, You don't need my money. Sad thing is a friend brought me here for lunch maybe six years ago no acknowledgement, I was going leave then, but my friend was hunger, I asked her about it, she played it off. But I knew it then, something was off. Do they cater to black people this happened twice same place come on people get it together.
