We arrived at Pink Pepper right before closing time, and even though we were late, the service was absolutely wonderful. The staff member who helped us was incredibly kind and welcoming, always smiling and making us feel comfortable. The food was amazing as well — my favorite dish was the curry beef bone, which was incredibly tender and full of flavor. The chef also kindly let us try their durian ice cream, and it was surprisingly delicious! We were told it’s part of their new menu, and I highly recommend everyone to give it a try when you visit. Thank you for such a warm and memorable experience!
We recently visited Pink Pepper Thai and had such a great experience. If you’re looking for authentic Thai food, this place truly delivers. Every dish was full of flavor, well balanced, and made with fresh ingredients. You can tell a lot of care goes into the preparation. The menu offers a great variety of classic Thai dishes, from flavorful curries to perfectly cooked noodles, and everything we tried was delicious. The flavors were bold but not overpowering, and the quality was consistent across every plate. On top of that, the service was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If you’re craving great Thai food and want a spot that’s reliable, flavorful, and authentic, Pink Pepper Thai is definitely worth visiting.
First of all, I truly don’t understand why this restaurant has such a low rating, given how amazing their food and service are! I haven’t been on Yelp for over a year, but I had to come back just to leave this review because the rating here is completely unfair. I went around 5 PM, and the staff was SUPER friendly. We ordered a few dishes, and every single one was absolutely delicious—honestly better than any so-called “Michelin” Thai restaurants in OC. Their curry noodle with short rib was my absolute favorite: rich, flavorful, but not overwhelming at all. The cocktails were amazing too, and the mango sticky rice and pink guava drink were straight-up fire! The restaurant itself was spotless, and the whole experience was easily a 10/10. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
Holy mama delicious short ribs khao soi and crab noodles! The rib was so tender and well seasoned!
Had the yellow chicken curry lunch. Pink lemonade and a fresh coconut. Nice patio that isn’t too noisy off Hollywood and La Brea. Chicken breast meat fell apart in the curry and was delicious. Nice balanced lunch plate. It’s near my gym. I’ll will be back!
A pleasant meal! Pink drink is a must-try—refreshing and unique. Tai dumplings were perfection. Authentic, flavorful, and great vibe. Highly recommend!
Wonderful experience, strongly recommend Crying Tiger. Spicy fried chicken is my favorite food over here. All foods here are super tasty, worth more over the price.
Excellent for lunch or dinner, this is off the main strip and has fantastic options. Get away from the craziness of the strip. Something for everyone here. Recommend spicy dumplings, coconut shrimp, or the curry chicken. Service is always fantastic, whenever we visit we always make time for the Pink Pepper.
What a treat! You walk in and it’s got really pretty lighting everywhere with hanging silk flowers and wisteria. Nice comfy wall booth seating and outdoor patio with twinkly lights. Metered street parking. Came in for lunch and didn’t have a problem with parking and was seated right away. Bambi took exceptional care of me. Extremely attentive and very, very sweet. I started with the chicken sauté and oh my goodness. The chicken was very, very tender and flavorful and the satay sauce was out of this world. Nice little chopped cucumber and onion salad with it was lovely. Great flavors on everything. Then I had the lunch special chicken Penang curry and it came with a house salad with nice greens and carrots with a lovely sweet tangy dressing, two chicken dumplings with a nice dipping sauce, a side of rice and the Penang was scrumptious. The cabbage, peas and the peppers were all cooked perfectly and the chicken was abundant. Everything was very, very flavorful and the dish had a medium heat level which I love. I wanted to order the lychee cocktail but they weren’t serving those until 5 PM so settled on a nice glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. Very decent prices on everything. I can see why this place has been in existence for 30 years! Can’t wait to come back and get some chicken pad Thai! Highly recommend!
What a perfect way to enjoy an evening with my family. Great food fresh and delicious the service was excellent. Parking was hassle free.
Fine Thai cuisine restaurant, they serve delicious curry dishes and vegan options also available. Lunch specials are a steal!
This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Hollywood, and I highly recommend it! They offer all kinds of Thai dishes, and my favorites are the Pat Thai and Crying Tiger —they taste amazing! The staff is super friendly, and even if it’s your first time trying Thai food, they’ll make you feel welcome. If you’re not a fan of spicy food, don’t worry—they can adjust the spice level, so everyone can enjoy their meal here! And it's conveniently located in the heart of Hollywood!
Love this place. Definitely our favorite Thai restaurant! The Khao Soi Seafood Curry Udon is a MUST try.
We walked down the street to Pink Pepper and had a really good meal. I would try to get there for their happy hour, it is a great deal! We were sat right away, water and menus were brought within a minute or two. Even though we were slow to order, we never felt rushed. The staff are very friendly and made the meal that much better with wonderful personalities and service. The restaurant is well decorated and comfortable. You can tell it has been around for a while. And the pictures of some of the dishes outside the patio are a nice touch. It is actually what got us to eat here while we were strolling by. First off, we got the Cream Cheese and Crab Rangoon. They were very good. Not oily at all and have a nice crab flavor. Some of the better ones I have had. We also got the Garlic Noodles. Yum! They have great flavor and texture with cabbage and lots of garlic. Then came the Pad Krapow with fried egg. These are very flavorful, with a little spice, but not overbearing. Not oily like I have had at some places. It was a nice meal at a fair price, with great service and quality food. We will definitely be back.
Durian ice cream is especially delicious, the food is also very good, and the service attitude is excellent.
Atmosphere was okay. Service was good, not great. But I loved the food and food selection. You won’t find a sommelier or atmosphere like Anajak’s but the food is much better here in my opinion. Excellent Thai!
Our favorite neighborhood Thai spot! The happy hour is also amazing to catch, the garlic noodles are amazing. We also got the crying tiger and tom kha soup, everything was so delicious and flavorful. And to balance off the spicy we finished with their new Thai tea panna cotta, perfect amount of sweetness and tasted just like Thai ice tea!
I had dinner at Pink Pepper last night and it was some of the best thai food I've had in a while. I got the green curry chicken and the flavors were perfect! I finished with the coconut ice cream which was delicious! It had big chunks of coconut which made it even more special. The service was very friendly and attentive as well. Highly recommend!
We had the great pleasure of dining at Pink Pepper and grateful to have Pearl as our server. She was so fun and great at her job. She also seemed to be a bartender extraordinaire as she did both this and server seamlessly. Pearl, you are awesome! In terms of food, we loved the chicken satay and paired it with the wonton soup which I thought was not Thai but I love it so I ordered it. I suggest you go here and make a reservation so you can get a great table and ask for Pearl.
The staff was absolutely pleasant, the atmosphere was very nice and relaxed. The food was delectable; the French toast was phenomenal, not too sweet, fluffy and the fresh berries were the perfect addition. The Juanito Palmer was the perfect amount of sweet, refreshing and tart. I highly recommend stopping there if you can. Sat indoors but there is options for seating outside.
On holiday from Nz We stumbled upon this cafe out looking for somewhere for breakfast. It was absolutely delicious. We returned the next day. Breakfast burritos and pancakes, and a very helpful waitress who told us about Runyon Canyon!
If your into punch cards to get coffee this is my favorite spot for this! The entire menu doesn't ever disappoint and I really love the I love the soups here. Christopher is a very kind person who I see before or after my yoga class and always lets me sit drink coffee and journal before or after my yoga class. The creative interiors and murals remind one that we are almost out of Hollywood and the crazy that happens there but West Hollywood where everything is cleaner and kinder.
I came here for brunch with my friend. We had a breakfast sandwich and delicious French toast, plus coffee — everything was so tasty! We also sat outside, and the outdoor area was very clean. The staff was super friendly, which made the experience even better.
If palm trees, disco beats and unbelievably tasty coffee is your jam then this be your spot. I'd be as bold as to suggest that no other outfit in LA does this trifecta better. In the rare case that they did, Tiago slides in with the perfectly executed breakfast burrito to remind everyone who's boss in them parts. Personally I didn't even know disco paired so well with the drip coffee first thing in the AM but they were here to guide me. Learning a little bit more about myself everyday. Thanks Tiago!!
The breakfast was absolutely amazing—without a doubt, the best we’ve had in California throughout our entire trip. The presentation was stunning, and the meal itself was incredibly nourishing, rich in various components, and packed with healthy ingredients. There was a lot of fresh greens, pumpkin seeds, and the salad was perfectly dressed. A huge thank you to the chef and the owner for providing such delicious and high-quality food!
Delicious food and great service. The cold brew coffee is very nice, and the mortadella eggs Benedict is an absolute delight! Even the side salad was lovely and refreshing and there's plenty of room both inside and outside, with first class WiFi. I highly recommend Tiago's if you're in the area and looking for an excellent breakfast experience .
I’ve got to tell you about this awesome breakfast sandwich I had at Tiago in LA. It was so good! Imagine fluffy eggs, crispy bacon, and fresh avocado all stacked on perfectly toasted sourdough. The coffee was amazing too. The place itself has such a chill vibe too, and the staff was super friendly. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a morning bite. Next time you’re in LA, you’ve got to check it out!
Food was absolutely incredible! Service was a bit off but staff was very friendly. My partner only got 2 shrimp on her pineapple fried rice that included chicken for whatever reason. Would absolutely stop in again next time we're in town.
In a neighborhood where breakfast choices are few, one place stands out. Or at least, it stands. Decent food served at hours a normal human, or at least tourist, will consider early enough for breakfast is hard to come by on the Hollywood strip. This is one of those VERY few options and is recommended by Loews Hotel’s staff. I enjoyed my slightly spicy chilaquiles for $13, adding a second egg for about $2.50 more. My wife’s “classic” with a couple eggs, bacon, and toast was good, though it’s sourdough only with no whole grain options she prefers. Coffee was a bit of a disappointment, though acceptable. Both my wife’s Americano (no refills) and my brewed version (with refills) were served tepid and are an Ethiopian base with that typical ‘sour olive’ flavor for these beans. Service is VERY kind and friendly. The music, which tends to eclectic club mixes, was a bit distracting but not so much so that you couldn’t talk. There is plenty of patio and indoor seating. This will fit the breakfast bill and support what seems to be the closest to a local community you’ll find in otherwise honky tonk make-a-buck Hollywood.
It’s a fun, colorful coffee shop located on the corner of Hollywood Blvd. They have validated parking in the back. The food was really good. My friend got a salad and I got the omelette. Both were tasty and clean. The music was a little loud for my preference. I would note that despite 80% vacant seating, someone came up to us within seconds of sitting down saying “we would like to reserve seating for paying customers only.” As a small business supporter, I have no problem with this, but from a customer service view, I think that was unnecessary. I feel unwelcome and will not be returning. They also charged my friend for a black coffee refill.
I paid for an OJ that cost 6.00 plus tax. They put the coffee in the bag and all my food but once I got to my hotel I realized that their expensive OJ was NOT in the bag! This is horrible service. I called 7 times that day, screenshots are provided here. They refuse to answer their phone, return voicemails , and they do NOT respond to emails. I am now filing a claim with my credit card because I have all the proof that I’ve tried to contact this company extensively but they refuse to honor their mistake and refund the Orange Juice that they did not provide to me. ****Also*** their muffins are dry and the cinnamon rolls have no flavor and are very dry and taste old
