Having a hard time to find something healthy to eat in LA? Then this is definitely the place to be. The food was so good and the people that worked there were very kind. Josh suggested the ancient grain bowl that included some sweet potatoes, avocado, some vegetables and I choose chicken as my protein. Also the pink lemonade is recommended!

On a business trip wanted to the try out the most hyped place in Santa Monica. I must say I didn’t get disappointed, the pizza with chicken sausage was out of the world. We had margarita which wasn’t great and the beer was just out of can to the glass. I wish they had more food items on the menu for starters.

This place is delicious AND healthy. If you’re eating out but trying to keep calorie count they make this very EASY. I love that all the items in the menu have the caloric intake right next to it (including the drink!) so you can order whatever you think fits your calorie bank for the day. Their guacamole edamame is delicious dip (I personally love more lemon in it but the rest of our party loved it). The poke bowl was very unique with midnight rice and delicious mushroom. Their Chicken noodles were so delicious 🤤 and the skinny margarita was alright (just hard to drink with a lot of shredded mint /oranges in there). My favorite drink on the menu was definitely the strawberry mojito ; it is NOT as generic as it sounds- it’s lightly sweet , with bites of yuzu and only 180 calories ! The service was fast. The ambiance is lovely with a lot of greenery and the curated acoustic playlist was lovely. It’s a fairly new establishment and they’ve knocked it out of the park ; can’t wait to see what else they’ll add Will definitely be back !

When you want good quality food, true food is the place for you. True food kitchen is located in Santa Monica inside the popular Open air Mall near 3rd street. There is no free parking lot located, but there are plenty of pay parking buildings all around . A friend of mine works here and has been telling me to come. And I finally did. I came during a weekday around 5 pm, not busy at all, but when we left around 6:30pm, it was a full house. So be careful for wait time around dinner. It's a full service restaurant, so a host will sit you down at a table, and then a server will attend you. The lobby is pretty big and wide looks very spacious. We order a bison pizza for an appetizer 7/10 not many toppings I ordered the beef burger with roasted potatoes. 9/10 Wish they weren't so stingy with the potatoes. That's just me. For dessert, we got the chocolate fudge Sunday 10/10. Price avagered around $20-$25 for entree. Drinks are separate. And they are limited to what drink they carry. No soda guys, but they do carry olipops. Next time I come, we are switching it up. Ordering some steak.

Absolutely fabulous, delicious and healthy dining. Sweet place for a deserved date for seasoned couples. Drinks 🍹 🍵 are organic, too. Good size portions for the price $$ So many gluten free & vegan options!! The workers were very attentive and friendly Overall very enjoyable experience

We always enjoy eating here. Specially if you are looking for a healthy option that has a bit of ambiance. We love the lasagna, charred cauliflour, edamame dumplings and the korean Noodle. The pizza was good too but not that special. We got the chicken sausage. Definitely one of the good options in century city mall. Our server was great too and despite it being late she was on top of everything.

The healthiest, most delicious place, and the food comes out surprisingly fast. Don’t miss the edamame dumplings! They’re running an awesome lunch special right now, too. Thanks to Pearson for taking such good care of us.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Menu is top notch with plenty of tasty health conscious options. Love the seed oil free concept especially. Definitely order the air fries - the dips they bring with them are out of this world.

Pearson at True Food Kitchen is absolutely incredible! He’s so kind, attentive, and genuinely makes every visit feel special. You can tell he really cares about creating a great experience — he elevates the entire place. Their brunch is to die for — everything is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Blueberry Pancakes and The Rancher's Hash are to die for. With Pearson’s warm energy and the amazing food, True Food has become one of my favorite spots in the city. Highly recommend!

I got the ancient grain bowl with tofu. Looking at the food photos, I had initially been nervous that the portion sizes might be small, but the food turned out to be plenty; the flavor was great and I ended up taking a little box of leftovers with me! Pearson and the rest of the staff were friendly and patient.

Had a great experience at True Food Kitchen in Culver City. The meal was delicious across the board, with fresh, well-balanced flavors and thoughtful preparation in every dish. Pearson took excellent care of us and made the experience feel welcoming and smooth from start to finish. The drink selection was exquisite. Well-crafted, refreshing, and clearly given just as much attention as the food. Everything we ordered hit the mark. One small note. I’d love to see them bring back the soft pita bread for the hummus. It was still good, but the softer pita really elevated it in the past. Overall, a fantastic meal and an easy 5/5. Will absolutely be back.

My colleague and I stopped by True Food Kitchen in Century City during a lunch break while conducting business, and it turned out to be one of the best choices we could’ve made. We originally picked it for the health-focused menu, but we ended up enjoying ourselves even more than expected thanks to the welcoming atmosphere and genuinely friendly staff. The food was fresh and flavorful — we shared hummus with crisp flatbread, refreshing drinks, and then each had a burger with perfectly cooked fries. Everything was well-prepared and presented beautifully. The vibe inside the restaurant is modern, vibrant, and comfortable, making it a great spot to enjoy a break while still feeling energized for the rest of the day. Definitely worth a visit whether you’re on a quick lunch break or meeting friends for a relaxed meal.

Great spot to eat that serves lots of health conscious food that does not sacrifice on flavor and creativity. Everything is made fresh and in a more healthy way (eg air fried instead of deep fried). The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff are very friendly. The chicken parm, tuna poke bowl, and watermelon salad all tasted delicious and left us feeling satisfied and not bloated afterwards.

Having been to True Food in Atlanta, I wanted to check out the Los Angeles location. Samantha was super kind when helping me out and was phenomenal at giving recommendations! I got the TrueTrio which comes with a good amount of food for the price. I got the Seasonal Market Salad and loved the addition of dates and pistachios! I paired it with the Mediterranean Wrap. The atmosphere is lovely and they have a nice aesthetic! The market salad had quite a bit of oil, but overall the flavors worked well together.

Pearson from Century City location gave us his best service and best of all had a very warm welcoming attitude. Thank you for your kind service Pearson! Food was excellent. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Samantha If customer service were an Olympic sport, Samantha would have at least three gold medals and a sponsorship deal. From the moment we sat down, she appeared like a hospitality ninja — somehow already knowing we needed water before we did. Mind reading? Probably. Magic? Definitely. She didn’t just take our order. She guided us. I’m pretty sure I ordered something better than I’ve ever chosen in my life, and I owe it all to her gentle “Trust me” smile. She checked on us at the perfect times — not in a “How’s everything tasting?” while mid-bite way — but in a “I sense you are running low on fries from across the room” way. At one point, I considered ordering something ridiculous just to see if she could pull it off. I have no doubt she would’ve. Professional, funny, attentive, and somehow managing the entire restaurant like she’s conducting a symphony — Samantha didn’t just serve our table, she elevated the entire experience. Give her a raise. Give her a trophy. Give her the restaurant, honestly. Will I be back? Yes. Will it be for the food? Also yes. But mostly for Samantha. 10/10. Five stars. Would request her section every single time.

Sean and Riley are not bartenders. They are alchemists, therapists, and frankly public servants who deserve a key to the city and a nightly parade. I came in thirsty and left spiritually transformed. Sean operates the bar like a maestro conducting a symphony of ice, citrus, and audacity. Every pour is confident. Every cocktail arrives like it knows it’s better than the rest of the room. I swear he made eye contact with a shaker once and it apologized for not being cold enough. Riley, meanwhile, has the kind of charisma that could calm a hostage situation or start a cult. I would join. Effortless, hilarious, and somehow always one step ahead of what you want before you know you want it. Drinks appear like magic. Problems disappear. Your mood is fixed. Together, they are a dynamic duo. A power couple of hospitality. Batman and Robin if Gotham were thirsty and needed excellent vibes. The bar was packed, the energy was feral, and yet they handled it with grace, speed, and the quiet confidence of people who simply cannot be rattled. If Sean and Riley are behind the bar, cancel your plans. Call your friends. Order another round. Tip aggressively. This is not just service. This is an experience, a journey, a religious awakening in a rocks glass. Five stars is not enough. Give them six. Give them seven. Give them my liver and my loyalty forever. 🍸🔥

I’ve been going to true food for a while and if there was anything that keeps me coming back it would have to be the staff. In particular sean and Riley working at the bar. Sean somehow always finds a way to make my day better. It’s nice being able to have a chat with such a genuine and sincere person, not to mention his band Sorry Ghost puts out some of the most absolutely sickest tracks known to man kind. I mean no one is doing it quite like sean. I haven’t known Riley long but in the times I’ve had the privilege of talking to her, she’s been nothing but attentive. She has a quiet confidence about her that you can’t help but appreciate. I once found the lost city of el dorado and it was literally just Riley. They’re the bees knees, the cats meow, the best thing since sliced bread and it’s not hard to see why

I had a the grass fed burger with mushrooms and carmelized onions burger and it was so good I ate it in like 2 minutes. So many awesome flavors. My girlfriend ordered the wild caught shrimp plate and that was very yummy as well. Pearson was our server and was very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Definitely excited to come here again soon. ☺️

We partnered with True Food Kitchen at Westfield Century City to host a seated influencer lunch as part of the Psycho Bunny LA Store Tour, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The team was incredibly collaborative and thoughtful, working closely with us to curate menu options that felt elevated, on-brand, and aligned with our budget. They were flexible and welcoming when it came to layering in our own florist, branded signage, and custom swag, which allowed us to fully bring the brand experience to life without friction. The food itself was a huge hit. Influencers genuinely loved the “True Food” vibe and the sentiment behind the menu. It felt fresh, intentional, and memorable, not just another event lunch. The service was seamless, the space was perfect for conversation and content capture, and the overall experience exceeded expectations. If you’re looking for a restaurant partner that understands brand moments, guest experience, and how to make an event feel special while staying grounded and authentic, True Food Kitchen is it. We would absolutely work with them again.

Great ambiance place.. we ordered avocado toast , double cheese vegan burger and chai.. loved all the food but I still wish they had no parmesan or double cheese but a healthier in house cooked option , the ingredients of vegan cheese scared us 😇 i also wish they ask for how toasted should be the bread.. it was on dry un roasted side for us. Would recommend avocado toast but nit vegan burger.

Party of 4 at the bar on a weeknight. Not busy at all. The bar surface looked sticky and dirty, so I asked that it be cleaned. It actually was ok, there was some weird discoloration. Then through out the night as condensation from our glasses hit the bar, new discoloration occurred. It really makes the experience feel dirty - whomever did the finish really botched it. Staff seemed aware - but not bothered by it. The overall service was good. Food was just average, but we'll priced. $5 happy hour beers. A bit of a disconnect between the high end Century City mall and this affordable, but definitely not foodie establishment. If you are looking for a reasonably priced place for a quick bite and a drink, this will fit the bill. Just don't sit at the bar.

The quality of the ingredients makes up for the overall taste of the dishes. Service is insanely slow and the servers are a bit weird Also very overpriced for what it is Food is fine, I won’t be returning For a “Whole Foods/anti inflammatory” place I’m shocked they don’t put more allergen and ingredients info for each item. For example, what’s in the kale salad?

I won't say the food is bad, it is good, but it is definitely upsetting how they stiffed us. I ordered Catering for my office, and I just wanted a mixed green salad, it is $90, which is extremely overpriced, but I needed to add a salad. What was extremenly insulting though is how little salad was actually included in this $90 mixed greens order, The Teriyaki rice bowl, was delicious, but again, they really skimped on portions.

Been here several times and I feel like the food quality keeps going down. My turkey burger was burned, dry as dust, and while it said “avocado” on the burger on the menu the thin smear of green stuff hardly qualified. I ordered a side of avocado (because I like avocado) and for $4 they give you almost a quarter of a small avocado. They have decent ingredients just bad cooks in the kitchen who are cutting corners and not upholding standards. They need to fix that. It’s false advertising to say “avocado” on a burger if it’s really a spread. They need to say “avocado spread” or it’s a lie. Gotta be truthful True Kitchen!

I came here to try the pizza. They use sour dough, The pizzas turned out small, simple, and… well, let’s just say my expectations rose higher than the dough. Not good, not “wow.” Maybe skip the pizza and explore the rest of the menu — they might redeem themselves there!

I need to be honest—this food was a disgrace. We ordered from here on Uber Eats, the teriyaki bowls. They charged $21/bowl with no protein. (We paid 18 in fees and the total was 63 with tip, irrelevant but still.) Just look at the photo. This is what we got. And it's not a fluke. This happened last time we tried ordering from True Foods so we are going to just let this place go. It's sad because it used to be a great restaurant for organic options. They don't even have very much organic anymore... ugh just all around a disgrace.

I’m writing this review to warn others after a very serious experience. After eating at this restaurant, I became extremely ill and was hospitalized for two days. I was diagnosed with Shigella, a serious foodborne illness. A friend who ate the same meal as I did on the same day also contracted Shigella. The Department of Health contacted me directly to open a case, as there were multiple confirmed cases linked to this restaurant at the time period I ate there. I provided them with my hospital records and all requested documentation. I was later put in touch with the restaurant’s insurance company to file a claim. Despite submitting my hospital records, Department of Health case information, and being advised by a lawyer that this should have been straightforward, the insurance company denied responsibility, stating there was “no proof.” I would also note that it took them 6 months to even get an answer for us. Multiple unanswered emails and calls from them throughout that time period. This experience was not only physically devastating, but incredibly frustrating. Contracting Shigella is serious and dangerous, and being hospitalized for multiple days is not something I would ever take lightly. I am sharing this so others can make an informed decision. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering eating here.

The service was good, but the food wasn’t as expected or “healthy”. My husband got food poisoned and we think it’s from this place because that’s all he ate that day and a pastry at the morning. He got the steak and fries it tasted so bland and I got the chicken Parmesan that was cold and tasted bad. Overall the food quality wasn’t good UPDATE: I also got food poisoned one day after my husband and I threw up all the food I ate from this place ( i didn’t eat out so it can’t be from somewhere else)
