Colorful, quirky, and impossible to ignore, Voodoo Doughnut in Los Angeles feels more like a candy shop than a donut stop. The display is packed with a huge selection of creative and fun donuts, from wild cereal toppings to playful shapes that make you smile before the first bite. Flavors are sweet, soft, and satisfying, with plenty of options for classic lovers and adventurous snackers alike. The vibe is lively, the staff keeps things moving, and the whole place has a playful energy that makes it stand out from typical donut shops. Prices lean a bit high, but the novelty and variety make it worthwhile. It’s the kind of spot that turns a simple dessert run into something memorable and worth sharing. Definitely a place to revisit with friends soon.

A great place to fill your cravings and have a good cup of coffee. Plus next door is Pinks and what a wonderful combo… great hot dogs and then a sweet delicious dessert. The place is inviting and they sell merchandise to their customers. The selection of donuts is great and they are so good. The staff is really nice, friendly and knowledgeable, plus they make a good coffee. The prices are reasonable for single donuts but priced high for a dozen. The donuts are really good and soft. The establishment is all hot pink with great murals and goes well with their neighbor who is all hot pink too. The parking is limited but there’s parking on the street and alley. It is accessible to all and kid friendly.

This is a pretty cool donut place. They have a lot of varieties. I love the ambience! I would definitely go back again and try some of the other flavors. They also have vegan options.

Can be additive place for sweet tooth. Been to the original place in Portland and the one in Universal Studios walkway. Glad they opened at this location, especially right next to Pink’s hot dog place. Super nice, clean and pinky decor with great vibe. So friendly and funny staff. Love their donuts, fluffy and delish filling. Funky & shockingly donut shape…loving it. Perfect for dessert after the hot dog snack to end the evening in LA.

I just discovered voodoo doughnut, and was excited to see that they had vegan options which is hard to find nowadays. We had the vegan Old Dirty Bastard Donut and it was huge and phenomenal 😍we will be going back. My only nitpick would be I wish they had more vegan options well they do have like maybe 5 or 6 I wish they had some more options without all the extra bells and whistles on it . Because sometimes someone just wants a regular more plain vegan donut, and not the 10 lb magic yummy donut that look like they're just for Christmas 😝They are fabulous though,I already want to go back

My first time visiting Voodoo Doughnuts. Pumpkin Spice Latte Mild not too sweet. Thanks to Natalie for helping me guide through so many options of doughnuts 🙏😵‍💫

Vanessa at Voodoo Donuts was amazing! She was super sweet and helped us pick out the perfect donuts. Her vibe was contagious — she made the whole experience even better. You can tell she loves what she does. Thanks, Vanessa! 🩷🫶🏽🪽

AJ is AMAZING. Answered so many questions about each and every doughnut. Great vibes. I would just comeback for HER! Forget the doughnuts. Don’t forget the doughnuts. So creative , so many versions, so fresh & scrumptious. They also had vegan options. They looked AMAZING. But who am I kidding?

Cool place with LOTs of options and great staff! Was passing by around 1 AM but donuts were fresh. Be careful, portions are huge but not too sweet for the most part! The dough is fluffy and you don’t taste frying oil.

We got here on the grand opening of voodoo donuts! Totally surprised & coincidental. The atmosphere was great. The service was immaculate and the donuts are tasty. They have all kinds of flavors and some you never heard of. I recommend the maple bacon, grape ape or the churro. If you like California donuts, this rivals it. You can’t go wrong here and it’s 24 hours.

Still a favorite. I've eaten these in various places and states and always a winner. I missed these in Las Vegas! I love creativity and then great tasting donuts. The names are a RIOT! DIRTY OLD MAN or donut in the photo are my favorite. Yet I swallowed down Diablo and Vodoo in seconds. Yes, it's that good! Today, around 6:15 am, 11.16.25, person working excellent. Thanks

Good find. Lovely atmosphere and great service. Hailey was super kind and helpful. There is a plentiful variety of donuts to choose from and none of them disappoint in terms of taste. The blueberry one was my favorite. Great value for the price as well :)

Excellent vegan donuts I've had several different one's in the past but this one is now my favorite, it's called the " Dirty Old Bastard "🍩 & it's delicious!☆☆☆☆☆

I have loved Voodoo Doughnut for years now and always enjoyed visiting when I was in Portland. So I was thrilled to find out there was a VD coming to Los Angeles!! This location is on Melrose and is SO cute. The outside and inside feel very much like the VD I came to know and love in Portland and for a minute it feels like stepping into another world when you’re in there. The donuts are just as good as they always are (truly the best donut in Portland I won’t even speak about the other one). The staff is friendly and helpful and overall had a great experience. For folks who don’t know VD has a bunch of vegan options of their classics, including the voodoo doll donut. Thanks Voodoo Doughnut Melrose, will be back!

This well known location of this chain is A+. A great stop for absolutely delicious doughnuts of any variety. I judge doughnut shops by their apple fritters - and Voodoo has one of the best with fritters that are fluffy inside and slightly crunchy on the outside. Not greasy. Not too sweet.

First time stopping by this doughnut spot in LA, and wow... what a surprise. Dropped in casually before going back to Spain, and ended up chatting with Daniel, who totally blew me away with his customer service. He took time to explain everything in crazy detail, from how they make the doughnuts fresh every day to the whole story behind the company. I walked out with way more than I planned because his passion was contagious and I just wanted to try them all! I could tell he genuinely cares about what they do. Donuts are legit amazing, fluffy, flavorful... next-level! But honestly, Daniels energy sealed the deal for me! Came back a couple times hoping to catch him again (no luck yet), and I willl keep going not just for their doughnuts but because that kind of commitment turns a one-off visit into me being a regular for life. Highly recommend! Thank you so much Daniel!

Fun doughnuts for most everyone. With some original flavors, some adult shapes, and so many combinations as well as some of the staples, VooDoo Doughnuts is a solid doughnut shop. We got an Old Dirty Bastard and a Banana Cream Pie. The dough here is how I like my doughnuts. They are not overly sweet, or yeasty. Not oily at all. They are very substantial doughnuts. But the toppings and fillings, these are what you come for. There are so many options, and the display cases help tremendously. Everything is out on display. It's almost hypnotizing, watching them spin around. But what a great idea. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about what's in every item. There is plenty of parking and a couple of driveways. It makes popping in and out so much easier. And you can't miss the building, bright pink, right next to Pink's, also bright pink. And the folks walking out with those boxes... Taller than a regular doughnut box, you need that height for clearance! Everyone leaving had a huge smile in their face. For so many good reasons. This is definitely somewhere to think about if you want a sweet treat, and most of your daily allotment of calories.

Went here about 1am in the morning. Friendly service. I really liked the carousel to see the donuts before buying. I apparently didn’t look too closely because I ordered the cock and balls for the novelty and that donut is enormous. It was a chocolate iced donut, and add to it cheekiness, it was cream filled. Unfortunately I forgot to get pictures of all of our donuts. We ordered six donuts. They were larger than your regular donuts and some of the flavors and designs were different. Im the end, the donuts’ texture was soft and stale like they were left to sit for awhile. Maybe at 1am, they are all the way.

Not the best donuts in Los Angeles. Not even close. They’re do have vegan options though. No tables to sit and eat. They’re big and not terribly expensive but too much of an ok thing isn’t great. I had the mango donut. It was ok. I got sick of the sweetness a bit after half the donut. I like the mango flavor idea but the execution was just ok. The dirty bastard donut was not much better. I think these donuts have the value factor going for them. They have a parking lot.

I was so happy to see this open so I didn’t have to go to Universal Walk and pay for parking and the crowd and I’ve been wanting to try them for so long. I got a good variety and the staff was very nice and patient while I chose. Unfortunately the donuts themselves were a huge disappointment!🥺 I got a plain glaze that was the only good tasting one we got. I loved that it wasn’t too sweet and can’t really taste the frying oil. The hibiscus was a huge disappointment. The frosting was stale chalk that tasted nothing like hibiscus. I’ve made candied hibiscus flowers and a glaze with it and it’s really good. The chocolate frosted cake donut tasted like a regular donut shop donut except it was stale. All of them were stale except the plain glaze. When paying $4 a donut it better be fresh!! Absolutely not coming again. The Donuttery in Huntington Beach (which thankfully I live like 10 minutes from instead of an hour) not only tastes great and open 24hrs but they also have many great flavors. Also pricey but worth it! Sidecar donuts is another good one.

Was super excited to have Voodoo donuts for the first time, had them in the Denver airport and wanted to take some home to my friends and family So I Ordered some late the night before I flew out from LA and I placed an order on DoorDash to my hotel , immediately After I placed the order, I called the restaurant to see if they could bag my donuts, so it would be easier to fly with them and they were really rude over the phone and then when I got my DoorDash order, none of the donuts were in a bag, but the Sprite was in a bag?? Very rude and I feel like my request wasn’t very complicated. I just asked if they could put the donuts inside of bags inside of the box cause I know they have to box it up to give it to the DoorDash driver. It just made everything really complicated when I have to fly out super early in the morning, so I was super disappointed with that. So hopefully you guys can work on your customer service donuts were pretty good. I just have no idea how I’m gonna fly out with them now.
