Convenient located in Union Station this pretzel shop is in the perfect spot to grab a snack and go walk around Olvera street. The pepperoni pretzel is very flavorful and keeps you full! They don’t serve coffee but Starbucks is right there so that’s covered…Service was nice and the shop looked clean and well maintained. Overall good experience coming here!

Wentzel Pretzels is conveniently located inside the Union Station. They have a wide variety of drinks, pretzels and hotdogs. They make their pretzels early in the morning before they open at 7 am. So you get a freshly baked food. Staff were cordial and competent. Overall, it’s a nice and modest pretzel shop to stop by going to work or home.

Every time I need a quick bite between stops, this place is always here! Sometimes, they don't have what I want, but it only takes 10 minutes for them to whip it up! I tried their S'mores bites, and Wow! Totally drenched in Ghirardelli chocolate! The sprinkles of cinnamon and marshmallows were a nice touch. They put one layer of bites, sprinkle the stuff on, then repeat with another layer. Otherwise, I normally go for their mini dog bites.

I got one of their garlic pretzels while waiting for my train. The pretzel was very dry and hardly had enough flavor to justify the garlic label.

Visited Nov 8, 2023 as this location just opened. I tried the original pretzel $4.99 with salt. The salt was too much. The pretzel was enjoyable, a bit doughy but good. I was asked if I wanted a drink and saw they had strawberry lemonade. I have to say I was shocked at the price of $6.99. I did not get a drink and the people around me were commenting on the same thing. I want you guys to succeed but ask you rethink this price.

Customer service was good bu unfortunately since covid food quality is down. Have went there twice. 1st time pretzel was stall and hard. Hot dog douh was burnt. Second time pretzel still stale and hard The pretzels were the specialty ones.

I always buy pretzels from here. On Feb 15th at 3:40pm I placed a 33 dollar order. I paid with my phone, the cashier told me that my payment did not go through. She rang it up again on the other register and I paid again. I realized today that both charges went through. Now I have two seperate charges of 33 dollars. I saw that it happened to someone else aswell. Make sure that they dont double charge you too.

Firstly, the pretzel was really good and was just what I needed before my train departure. However, the woman who served me was unfriendly and never said, "Hello," "Thank you," or anything. When I asked her if I could have mustard for my pretzel, she wouldn't answer me. When she handed me the bag, I asked her if there was mustard around. She curtly pointed to the bag as if I had bothered her in asking her twice, though she never once vocally answered me. The second employee, who watched all of this, never tried to be any friendlier or answer the questions that the first worker wouldn't. This tells me that this behavior is status-quo for this business. As I said, this could have been a four or five star review, but this stand employs people who don't know the first thing about customer service or friendliness, and it makes the customer feel unwelcomed, as if we are an annoyance to the people working the stand.

I got charged twice by this franchise. I got a cinnamon sugar pretzel. The first time the cashier said it did not go through and then she put an amount and charged me again. I checked my bank and both amounts went through and they did not take it off because it was diff amounts by a few cents. Maybe one had tax and one did not. Tried calling the franchise number from google and no answer. I tried emailing customer support and no response back to resolve. There are no seats either. Horrible location I would go somewhere else.
