Has to be one of the best Tasting chili ive eaten.. and their burgers are out of this world super delicious... and great prices With the.... friendliest staff in the restaurant business.. great atmosphere
Been coming here for lunch for the past few years. Usually have the chili w/onions and cheese (super bowl). Brian in the kitchen often sees me coming and my food is ready before I've finished paying. Manager Justin is just a great guy and Candy at the register is always pleasant and welcoming and nice to chat with. I really enjoy Garret Station's food and atmosphere and expect to be a patron for some time to come!
Stopped by for the first time for a quick lunch in between meetings. The staff was super kind and made excellent recommendations. They made the food fresh and quickly and maintained a clean restaurant and bathrooms. I took the food to go and it was very delicious!!
Great pizza & pub food in casual atmosphere Garret Station has some of the best pizza in the Bay Area. The atmosphere has the same look and feel as Jake's Pizza. Garlic Fries and sweet potato fries are also on point (I'm sure the other fries are too) Bonus: 2/2 great conversations with the staff. You made me a regular.
Waited a while for 3 pizzas. Almost 40 minutes but well worth it. Ordered a pepperoni, combo and chicken, mushroom and garlic cheese pizza (which was THE BEST!). Great tasting pizza if you like a crunchy crust. They topped off the combo to overflowing with meat. Lots of people but that was expected during dinner time. Not too kid friendly even though they had a mini arcade area. They couldve had better prizes for some of the games. Kids were bummed. Other than that, if youre there just for the pizza, its great.
Very quaint, sports bar type, pizza, burgers and sandwiches.. My husband's had a Philly cheese steak, I had chicken strips.. His sandwich looked amazing.. Very big, lots of meat He could only eat half.. My chicken was fresh, and fries were hot and fresh.. Self serve.. You order at counter pay and pick it up at counter when ready.. Great little place.
I used to live across the street from this place. After a week of living there the Garret Station declared jihad on my wallet. Everything from the Old Timer to the Pizza is mad delicious. After 3 years of eating their weekly, I can safely say I've never had a bad meal.
Everyone I've introduced the Gilroy Special pizza to has loved it! Last date was no exception. Crust was crispy but not burned, it was perfect for me! Made me realize that I didn't miss the tomato sauce!
Good tasty food, competent and friendly staff. Can get a bit loud when it's busy. Been going there for years, never disappointed
Another well-run business that is part of the Garrett restaurants. Great service, great pub food, and fun atmosphere.
Ok so let me say that my experience with this place is mainly through door dash and haven't visited inside yet, but I must say this place is fantastic insert explicative in between... Lol. I have never had a bad meal from them. First off if you want something that's got a lil buffalo spice try the chicken buffalo sandwich it's fire af. If you want a BBQ burger can't go wrong with the BBQ burger (making my mouth water lol). If you are into a French dip beef sandwich they got you covered also really good. If you are a chili lover then this place is a must try chilli game on point. I can't sing this places praises enough also they have pizza give this place a shot... Well worth it.
Just like Jake's and The Garrett this place is a model of consistency and has excellent options. All of the menu items are great and a huge selection of beers on tap make it a great place to grab a game.
Pizza is really delicious! You must order the mozzarella sticks! Love that they serve burgers in case I'm not in the mood for pizza! Fries are delish, and the boneless buffalo wings are a must have! Staff is very courteous and work efficiently!
Nice laid back restaurant and bar. I loved the Philly Cheese Steak and fries. My wife loves the turkey burger. They have a good selection of beer on tap and in bottles. Been there many times.
Really great place. Excellent pizza (do not expect a perfect one if you order thru Door Dash - go in if you can), burgers, hot dogs. Great beer selection. Really friendly staff. Never a bad experience!
I ordered the chicken quesadillas which was a huge portion size for me. I really enjoyed it had good flavor and the staff at Garret station are very attentive. Even managed to talk and connect with a couple of people sitting around watching the Cowboys Bears game. The prices are reasonable and for a sports bar I was impressed they had four selections of Chardonnay wine.
Comfortable location and easy to get in and out. Plenty of parking. The food is always good. I normally go to their Jake’s store in Sunnyvale. Since I was at this end of town today, I thought a beer and pizza would be great right about now.
Always a very good experience. This trip our group had a chicken Philly, chili dog, frito bowl and a blt
The atmosphere here is great, they call it 'station' because it has a train station theme to it. It's right across the street from live tracks. And the pizza is cooked in proper pizza ovens, not some skimpy conveyor belt oven. Pizza is really good!
I've enjoyed everything I've tried here: pizza, salads, burgers, chicken, & sides. Everything has been tasty and a good value (plenty of food to share or take home leftovers). The Garret Station works well for different groups (night out with friends, large groups, dining with kids). I love this place!
Someone recommended this place, and we go back, and we don't even live close to this place. The service is always really friendly and the food is good. The chicken garlic pizza is addicting.
Have dined in and taken out on numerous occasions. ALWAYS: great selection, way tasteful, fun to visit, fair prices, and cool staff. We originally lived in Campbell for 50 years, relocated to AZ 4 years ago. Been back to re-visit a few times, mostly to dine again with you. Seriously!🌹🏜️😀🆒🇺🇸
I recently had a family gathering at The Garret Station and it was a very enjoyable place. There is a patio outside that you can reserve for things like birthday parties, etc and works great. This location also has a small arcade inside and even though it is not a big arcade it has some cool games like pinball and a couple claw machines. The food here is also good and I really like the pizza and chicken tenders. This is a great place that I would recommend for family gatherings or just lunch/dinner with friends!
Great spot for families and groups. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We come more for the atmosphere than the food, but we like the food too.
Always a great place to hang with friends. It’s a post show tradition! And don’t laugh, but the Caesar salad with chicken is delicious. Come out with warm chicken and big slices of parm or similar cheese. Super yummy. Thanks again.
Pizza is great, lots of options besides pizza. Service is slow!
Holy smokes. Haven't had a pizza this good in at least five years. Pizza Guys suggests they're "artesian", but their thirty dollar pizza wasn't even worth $10. This $27 pizza was worth every penny, I can't even eat another slice and usually I'll demolish half to 3/4ths of a pizza. Crispy crust, absolutely PILED with ingredients. Try the 'Combo', probably won't be disappointed for your dimes.
Good locals spot for pizza, burgers and sandwiches.
Been here a few times. Good menu. From pizza to burgers. Easy, friendly ordering. Nice compact bar. A few arcade games. Pinball needs a serious cleaning, and $1 per play is too much. My burger could have been seasoned better. I asked for fries instead of the chips it came with, but they didn't tell me it was a $2.75 up-charge. And I still didn't get the chips. The thousand island dressing i asked for for my burger was another 50 cent upcharge they didn't mention. Otherwise, its a great place. I recommend!
Excellent atmosphere! Pizzas, beers, and appetizers are great. Big screen TVs and the clientele keep the place fun when our bay area teams play. Update: The fondue is awesome! Good crowd too... Update: 4-22-22, We just visited again and the staff was friendly and the place is still looking great and making awesome pizzas! Unfortunately they took the fondue off the menu... That was a big draw/influence on deciding to go there for dinner. The pizzas are excellent and won't stop us from coming.
Excellent pizza , salads, hamburgers ,garlic, sweet potato fries, and Buffalo wings. The portions are very generous. Nice variety of draft and bottled beer. We sat in the outside patio. Service is very good. Will definitely go there again. 👏👏💯💯
Great place to watch any game. The food is good, service is friendly and there's plenty of space for a big group. Their pizza is fabulous and a large was enough for our family gathering of 5 people. Their is kids menu also. Love this location!
Used to be a regular at the one by the Pruneyard but I admit that was many moons ago. Noticed this one is waking distance from work so I decided to check it out. Exceptional service and has that cozy pizza-pub feel with a lot more than just pizza on the menu. Great selection of local craft favorites on tap like 21st Amendment, Hen House, and Elysian. Most of people sitting at the bar seemed like neighborhood regulars. Definitely plan to come back after work with my other half.
Love the food there The staff is nice and very cooperative The food is great
Everything was served hot and fresh. The flavors were amazing. I had a great time.
Tuesday special 2 medium pizza for $25. You can’t beat it. Very popular
I love the Philly cheese steak and the Wings. The Pizza is 8/10 personally, try their other food options. The inside is an old school aesthetic! Good place to bring Family
This restaurant is a wonderful spot for anyone looking to enjoy authentic American cuisine in a relaxed, welcoming setting. From the moment you step in, the atmosphere makes you feel at ease—the vibe is warm, casual, and inviting, perfect for a meal with friends or a laid-back evening out. The staff is friendly and attentive without being overbearing, adding to the overall positive experience. One of the highlights here is the freshness of the food. You can tell that each dish is prepared with care and quality ingredients, which makes a huge difference in both taste and presentation. During our visit, we ordered the chicken pizza and the fish burger, and both exceeded expectations. The chicken pizza was flavorful, perfectly baked with a crisp crust and generous toppings that blended beautifully. The fish burger, on the other hand, was light yet satisfying, with tender fish, fresh vegetables, and just the right balance of seasoning. To pair with our meal, we ordered lager beers, which complemented the food wonderfully and elevated the overall dining experience. Everything felt thoughtfully crafted and served at the right pace—not rushed, but not slow either. Overall, this is a place I would happily return to and recommend to others. Whether you’re craving a classic American dish or simply want a comfortable spot to enjoy good food and drinks, this restaurant delivers on all fronts. Great vibe, fresh preparation, and delicious flavors—definitely worth a visit.
We were working on the area close by, some of us wanted burgers some wings. So we saw this spot and gave it a try. When we got in, place looked packed. Few spots open for seating. We got our food order in got some drinks and waited. 20 min later our food came in. Food was great here are few pictures
I've driven by this restaurant plenty of times and never thought of stopping. I decided to give it a try and wow it was not what I was expecting. For whatever reason I always thought it was a diner. I ordered a BBQ bacon burger and it was full of flavor. 8.8/10. The meat was juicy, bacon cooked perfectly, and it was topped with crispy onions and flavorful bbq sauce. The fries were also delicious. I tried some of the chicken wings and those were also really good with a variety of sauces to choose from. The price for the burger is very reasonable as well They have a bunch of tvs to watch sports games and a little play area. A bunch of beers on tap. I went here one day after work and I can imagine the atmosphere would be really great for families or the guys going out to cactch some of the games Definitely worth going to and stopping by
We were in town for business and someone recommended the pizza at The Garret Station. We sat out on the patio, enjoyed watching our home team (Go Broncos!) On the TV while we enjoyed our meal. The decor is quite fun too! Very friendly staff!! The French dip was fresh, hot, and delicious! They definitely don't scrimp on the portion sizes!
We ordered a bucket of buffalo wings- quite tasty and a medium garlic chicken supreme pizza. My son ordered the turkey burger- such a health nerd. The pizza crust was crunchy which made it awesome. The garlic cream sauce was perfect. With the bucket of 20 wings (but they gave us more than that) and a medium pizza, we could not finish both. Either just order the medium pizza alone or a small pizza with the wings. This is a family environment. Lots of tvs everywhere. You can order beer here.
Pizza is great, more of a bready pizza with a crispy crust. Wings were very dry, almost hard to eat. Chicken fingers are good. Would order the pizza again for sure!
A wonderful place to have a Garret great lunch or dinner. However the lunchtime parking is a total pain because of a new yoga center sharing the same parking lot. I suggest a parking policy be implemented so those of us that do want to eat there can. Revenue is, I am sure, reduced since this yoga center has started up. Sad but many many people are missing a great environment and good food for lunch.
A quaint, medium size place with above average food at a reasonable price. Sports on the flat screens, relaxed conversation all around. Sandwiches are huge, pizzas are great, staff is efficient and friendly. Lots of regulars here. That's a good sign. Completely free of pretensiousness. Just a good local hangout with hearty food.
Pizza is great. Burgers and such are good too. It's not gourmet, but is exactly what it should be. Good food, very casual, nice people who are cool with customers moving tables for large groups. Also has a bar and tvs for watching games. For some reason kids love the small arcade even without quarters.
I went in there and took a look because I remember the old Garrett in the pruneyard which had very good food. I didn't stay because it wasn't what I was looking for oh, I was in a hurry. But it was during the week and lunch time and the place was packed which to me says a lot and that the food is probably just as good as it was before. A lot of pizza and stuff like that. I instead went over to the purple Onion Cafe which was in the same shopping center and had some great quiche.
This place is a good Family Restaurant. Majority of the customers are kids from minor league sports such as soccer and baseball. The Staff here are quite friendly, and the food is decent. I recommend not eating there since it's usually quite packed and hard to get a table around lunch or dinner time.
Great selection of beers on tap. The chicken quesadilla was GOOD! Nice flavor, hint of spice but very mild. They had a full house but staff worked together to get the line down and food and drinks out.
My car broke down near this eatery. I'm familiar with name "The Garrett" from way back. It was in the pruneyard back then. I loved how dark it was. Always great, friendly service and excellent food. I poked my head in. Very clean, very busy. Friendly staff. I ordered takeout and was given a pager/coaster device. I sat briefly, the pager went off and I scooped up my order - no problems, great packaging and I was outta there. Food was delicious and surprisingly affordable. The parking lot looked a little knotted up at dinner time. Alot going on in that shopping center.
Considering this place is known for their wood fired pizza, the rest of their menu is amazing! Wings and the sauces, sandwiches, salads, they do it all well! Beer and wine only, but that's okay... Who needs a martini with pizza or wings? Great casual place for lunch or dinner. And sports are always on here! No need for the big guys like Buffalo Wild Wings.
Decent burgers, reasonable prices. Haven't yet sampled their full menu, but what I've tried has all been good. The location is easy to find, parking is plentiful, and seating inside has been good. Four stars based on the food and atmosphere
Part of a local chain (Boardwalk, Oasis, etc.). Good pizza - nothing truly special, but just a decent-to-good pizza that is filling and tasty. Medium-thick crust style. They have sports and beer and such, so a good spot to go either with friends or family to watch some sports and hang for a while. Sandwiches are only so-so - somewhat greasy.
Great Tuesday deal on pizza. Mediums are buy 1 get one free Lots of TVs and soda comes with free refills. Nice selection of beers on tap too
Love the Garrett! Crowded with kids. Noisy but fun. Super Bowl should be great here. Food, good and consistent. One of the few stable restaurants around here. They need a better sign on the Winchester Ave. location. Can barely find it,
There pizza is great mostly because their sauce is the best around. My favorite is their supreme. There are plenty of options other than pizza. The staff is friendly and helpful. We usually take our order to go but it's a nice place if you want to dine in. Lots a seating and a small arcade too.
Only the los gatos jakes has fast pizza 🍕. Other jakes locations take to long
I think they changed something or Jake's uses a different ingredient than the Garret
Absolutely delicious pizza and loved the sports game vibes for Sunday football
It's a pizza place, though they do have burgers and other goodies on the menu.
Tried a pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and loved the crunch on the bottom of the crust! Sauce was pretty good along with the cheese. I'm definitely going to go back to try something else!
Came here recently because a friend had been wanting to check it out. The bartender was friendly and very attentive. Seems like they have a few regulars which is always a good sign. The food was delivered in a timely manner and the water is self serve which is always great when sitting at the bar. Overall it was a great environment and I would recommend the wings above everything else we ordered. The french dip sandwich was just the slightest bit on the bland side for me, even with the au jus.
We ordered take out over the phone. The food was okay but 2 of us had ordered salads with Ranch Dressing on the side. We were disappointed that they had not included the dressing, and both of us saved our salads for when we got home, so we could use our own dressing. I would order from here again, but next time I would check to be sure the condiments and forks and napkins were with my order before I leave.
Good service but the place no longer serves the quality food it was known for in the past. It's still a good place to hang out with friends.
Nothing spectacular. I found this place to be pretty mediocre. Imo, The Garret on Bascom and Hamilton is way better.
Food is good, but be sure to check their prices before you go if you're on a budget. Most large pizzas are over $35 with several over $40.
The employees were great. They were welcoming and friendly. The place has a great vibe. I had the philly cheese steak sandwich and fries, and my husband had the combo pizza. The meat on the sandwich was incredibly dry and had a bitter taste to it. The bread was soggy. My husband couldn't eat the pizza. The sauce tasted like they poured a bunch of olive juice in it.
The interior is cute. And the person taking my order was friendly. I ordered the Garret Station Deluxe cheeseburger with fries. I should have ordered a pizza. This must be a pizza place. The burger was underwhelming with a thin patty and iceberg lettuce. The Canadian bacon topping was a special treat though. I'll be back sometime to try the pizza.
So we ordered garlic fries, a pizza, a fish sandwhich, and some chilli. I really dont recommend the garlic fries honestly... Probably some of the worst fries I've had. They were very stale and also they were so overly greasy and just...wet, from the garlic paste that kind of looks like it was just lazely splatted in the middle. The garlic paste was way too strong, or like garlicky but not in a good way, tasted like minced garlic straight from the jar that you'd get at the grocery store or something, lol. The fish burger also was alright. It was a little bland and just didn't really have anything too special about it, but it was still good. The two things I think were really good though were the chili and especially the pizza. The chili wasnt too spicy or anything and i think had a really good savory meaty flavor and it was nice. The pizza was also super yummy, probably some of the best pizza Ive had actually, the crust was a little crispy yet still soft and moist in some places, and the cheese was really stretchy and melty! I feel there was a nice balance between the tomato sauce and the cheese, and it was just all around really good. This place can definitely get a little bit loud, it was kind of hard to hear what the people on the other side of our table were saying. They do have a fun little arcade area with claw machines and other stuff that could be fun for the kids. Food didn't take too long to come out either. So yah If you come here, they do have good pizza, but Id probably just STICK to the pizza, lol.
I’ve been here to eat plenty of times but I went the day after thanksgiving because I was craving their patty melt. It was the worst patty melt I’ve ever had. I took a bite and the meat tasted horrible. The burger patty had been sitting on the grill from a previous order for sure. Super old patty and I was soooooo disappointed. I’m hoping it was just an off day.
I’ve been going to the Garret and Jakes for years and always had great pizza and all have been clean and fun environment . This is why it’s hard to give 2 stars. I used to go the Garret Station A lot when it first opened around 10 years ago and again a year ago and had awesome pizza, as I suspected they would, especially combination. But tonight I was super disappointed! Our wings where not cooked enough, fried zucchini too soaked with oil and are you ready for this, the pizza crust would have been better if it was Digiorno. I don’t know what happened. Did they use dough that was left out too long? Even if the normal crust was over cooked, you could At least tell it was nice and soft on the inside. Not this crust, it was dry and crumbly like frozen, cook yourself pizza. For a place that’s always had consistently good pizza, I was pretty shocked, especially since I was convincing my wife to come all the way over here when there’s great pizza closer to home. I’ll give it a try again in the future. I hope the other locations are doing ok. What a bummer
The atmosphere and staff are nice. The pizza though was not good. The crust was too thick and tasteless and the sauce was not good. I was hoping for more fresh veggies to put on the pizza and had to settle for a pesto sauce that was unappetizing and unappealing.
I've been going here for 30 years. One of my favorite places. But the quality of the food has been going down hill. I ordered a take out pizza and I needed a magnifying glass to find the toppings. Not sure I'll be going back.
We’ve seen the quality of pizza just keep going down. We’ve been eating here for at least 10 years and order a few different pizzas. Use to be the best in town. In the last year, the pizza crust has been burnt or under cooked. The toppings are lacking in quantity and the cheese to sauce ratio is had just been off. We tried to wait but ...we won’t be back.
We we're invited here by some other parents. They all raved about it. After getting there with a large group we all ordered an assortment of appetizers and a few pizzas. Our family was really disappointed with the food. The pizza was more like Round Table Pizza but the cost of a fine pizzeria. The fried food was soggy with oil. On the plus side the people there were friendly and the atmosphere was nice.
I've been here multiple times, and I'm finally writing this review almost as a reminder not to come here again. My issue is only with the food: the people who work here and the location itself are solid and I've never had issues with either. However, here are my experiences eating here: * Ordered mozzarella sticks, fries and chicken wings a few years ago, and the chicken wings were dry and simply unappealing. Mozzarella sticks and fries were solidly fine, but the wings were really disappointing * Had burger with onion rings and double cheeseburger with onion rings on separate occasions, both solid, if somewhat expensive for a burger. * Recently, decided on coming back for a double cheeseburger. This time, it wasn't even a burger bun. I'm sure lots of people like coming here, but the onion rings have been the only consistently good thing I've gotten here. 2 stars is basically just for not a good bang for your buck.
I waited in line for a long while only to watch the cashier talk rudely to a customer and let every one know that she was doing something he did not like. She was trying to pick up her order and was very nicely asking for help. After he finally helped her and she left a bit frustrated by his rudeness but still kept her composure, he continued to talk about her loudly. My family and I walked out as we can't support a restaurant that treats its customers that way. Disappointing.
The Last two meals i have eaten here have been disappointing to say the least. I ordered chicken strips and fries.. the chicken strips were over cooked and i received literally 5 fries in with my order. The second one today i ordered a hot link sandwich and the sausage was so small it reviled a small breakfast sausage link. The meat to bread ratio was ridiculous. That was the last time i order from here. The other location will have to be all or nothing.
I usually have a great experience however today was the exception. It was super busy so we knew our order would take longer than usual ans when our buzzer finally went off they didnt have our order . They had accidentally put our order receipt in the compete pile of receipts and then when they found it they denied they messed up our order and acted like we were just being inpatient. No apology or anything. Disappointed 😒
To start with the service was not very good. Guy behind the bar was as far from service as you can get, short with people and myself. When asking questions like, can we have spinach or Basil on the pizza, he answered in an unpleasant manor that "we don't have spinach or basil". The pizza itself was by far the worst we have had in a long time. Crust was too thick since it had ZERO flavor. The same went for the sauce and toppings. We ordered two large pizzas and had one slice of each! Could not eat anymore. Wasted money. We are never coming back.
My office is down the street and haven't been there in years. Decided to go and watch a World Cup at lunchtime. Wasn't very busy at all, and I totally understand why. I had the French Dip and a side salad. My son had a Patty Melt. The bill was for over $40 with no drinks. My salad was worth about 2 bucks and my French Dip was by far the worst I've ever had. The meat was sparce, about a 1/4" thick, and was about a week old dried out mess. I now understand why I haven't been there forever. There's way better choices in the area
First time customer. Ordered a combination. It looked great. However, I have never been so disappointed. Positively bland? Completely lacked any flavor? Maybe we just got a dud, but it would be hard for me to try again. Sorry for both them and us.
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I ordered Philly Cheese steak that was contaminated and ended up with food poisoning, which took me to Emergency room from late night to next day till noon and caused me to miss work for two days. When I called to speak to the manager he showed no responsibility or offer of apology. The customer service is extremely poor and I strongly advise others to avoid this place.
I was mistaken for a door dash driver by the cashier. He is incredibly rude and condescending. While I was waiting I saw him be normakl to two walk-in customers then loudly berate a door dash driver that didn't realize he had to wait in the cashier line to pick up the door dash. When I did finally get the pizza, it was niot very good. Super heavy and greasy. My family asked to not choose that pizzeria angain and only go to Mt. Mike or Round Table for takeout.
I didn’t know this was a Jake’s pizza location.. I’ve had the unfortunate luck of trying Jake’s before and swore I would never eat there again. But we were starving and other local pizza spot was closed so we decided to give it another go. I got a really bad stomachache after eating two slices of cheese pizza. I felt like I was going to throw up. I don’t know how this place got good ratings but never eat their pizza, you will be disappointed.
