Delicious food and amazing service I dropped my food and the to go container broke and they made me a whole new curry so there wouldn’t be plastic in it. Very lovely people and everything is great! My favorite Thai food restaurant in the 805!!!
Staff was amazing! The food divine! The atmosphere was very relaxing and inviting.
I loved dining at the Thai restaurant. The cozy atmosphere and exceptional service impressed me. When my daughter didn't like her noodles, the staff quickly replaced it, customizing it to her liking. The food was outstanding, with rich and authentic flavors. The restaurant also had a diverse menu, catering to different preferences. Overall, the experience was fantastic and I'll definitely return and recommend it to others.
We ordered take out from this spot while visiting town. It was quick and easy to order over the phone, and the woman who took our order was sweet and friendly both on the phone and later in person. The food was ready quickly, and when picking up the order it was clear the restaurant is inviting (and smells so good). The server was even kind enough to offer ice in a take out cup for my canned soda and thank us for supporting them. The food was delicious and we appreciated how vegetarian friendly this menu is. In a town of a lot of delicious food, this place stands out as comforting, affordable, and super yummy. I’d frequent it if I lived here and hope to come back someday to try more of their items.
Great service, good food and quick. Prices are getting up there: $60.00 for lunch for two. The people that run the place are always very nice and the food is excellent. One of the good places here in town. We go often.
Great variety. Yummy, yummy, yummy. They have a wonderful topless seafood, mango curry is also one of my favorites too, of course all their noodles dishes are fabulous. Super service and hard working servers. You won't be disappointed I never have. Prices are good, it is also nice to share different meals...check out their menu and enjoy their outdoor seating in the evening.
Excellent Thia food. Had the yellow curry for lunch. It came with soup and salad. This place did not disappoint.
This is the spot! I’ve had lots of phos and curries in my day. The pho was amazing (it’s all about the broth, very rich flavor ). The mango curry was out of this world. And the service was excellent, super nice servers. I’ll be going back!
What a wonderful experience at Thai Classic on March 21, 2025! After a fun day of wine and champagne tastings in Pismo Beach and Paso Robles, we decided to wrap up our evening here, and it was the perfect choice. From the moment we walked in, I loved the ambiance of this quaint little restaurant—definitely a cozy spot! It seems to be women-run, which is fantastic, and the staff was incredibly attentive throughout our meal. We decided to try the pho, and as someone who regularly enjoys it, I can be quite critical. But let me tell you, this was some of the best pho I've ever had! It was incredibly flavorful, and the bowl was the perfect size—just enough to fill us up without feeling overwhelmed. Our server was delightful and made our dining experience even better. I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name, but she was wonderful! We had such a great time that we will definitely be back on our next visit to Paso Robles. If you're looking for an excellent Thai restaurant, look no further than Thai Classic! Highly recommend!
The food and service were stellar. I had the green curry and it was delicious. My wife and kids shared the chow main they loved it. The restaurant is nice. It is a small place so plan accordingly we had a party of 6,4 adults and 2 kids we waited around 30 minutes to be seated. Over all great experience!
We love eating here! I am a fan of all of the Curries, and I usually get brown rice to go with it. You can get it with tofu or a meat of your choice. My husband is a cashew nut chicken fan, that is his go to, and he is never disappointed. Everything is good and the service is wonderful. The place is small, and yes, sometimes parking has to be creative, but it is totally worth it. It was my birthday, so they brought out some sweet sticky rice and sang to me!
The green curry!! It is amazing!!! One of my favorites I’ve ever had. I ordered medium spicy, which was perfect. The base wasn’t too thick nor too watery. The veggies were fresh. Plus, the staff is so very nice. We ordered to go and ate at the park. It was a beautiful day and lunch was special. Oh and the brown rice is cooked to perfection too. 5-stars all the way!!!
Really homey and cozy. Excellent traditional Thai food served by friendly, kind proprietors.
We chose from the lunch menu. They were happy to give a vegan soup. The spicy noodles with vegetables also come with rice. I choose brown rice. I enjoyed the lunch. Very nice and attentive staff at the restaurant.
Ate here twice in one week. Had yellow and white curries and the tofu Pho. The Thai tea tasted like a smoothie. Exceptional service and a truly delightful dining experience! The food was spectacular—honestly some of the best Thai cuisine I’ve ever had. This place is an absolute gem, and I hope more people discover it.
I’ve been here over 10 times and it’s been good every single time out of all of my ratings I would say this is by far the best,The two waiters are the kindest sweetest people ever my girlfriend dropped her to go and broke the container they completely remade the food instead of swapping containers,They really take care of you. PS I thought I left a review here before but I didn’t so I HAD to make one ASAP
We ordered the tofu satay, spicy fried rice and the vegetables with sweet basil and chili and they all were amazing.. Taste was fantastic, service was great.. We will definitely visit the place if we are back in town
Tiny little restaurant with a big punch. The staff moves really fast and were very attentive to their customers.
Best thai place in town. It’s as authentic as it gets. They have a screen where they run a slideshow of their dishes (almost everything on the menu). They offer vegetarian entrees too, where you won’t get fish sauce. Some folks don’t like the smell, it’s a good option to have it on the menu. Would recommend- ▪️Orange Chicken ▪️Chicken Larb ▪️Chowmein ▪️Pineapple rice ▪️Spicy Fried rice ▪️Chicken Potstickers Following were okay and can be ordered once- ▪️Chicken Satay We didn’t like the Golden bags and coconut milk thai tea. Maybe they can increase the meat quantity and try to use a different brand coconut milk. Their toilet was very clean.
Delicious egg rolls, lately a lot of restaurants have been either burning their egg rolls or making them too salty, using vegetables that have perished and so on! But this place actually has their 10/10 all around for their egg roll. Their orange chicken is a bit chewy but it’s expected to be when it comes with a tangy thick sauce. (Used honey for chicken)The pad Thai noodles were very soft !! The chicken cooked to perfection!!! And the crunchy peanut texture topped it all off 🥰. If you have a peanut allergy be sure to let them know to remove the peanuts from the pad Thai !!!!!!! The sticky rice was a bit over cooked way too mushy for my liking, but it’s the sticky rice that comes in their mango sticky rice desert so I can’t really knock them a star for that. The server was definitely attentive and the staff keeps an eye out for any concerns at your table but they are busy at times everyone wants to wait for a table so call to reserve and let them know how far you are.(outdoor dining allowed as well) Parking is hard to find but parking around the park is free past 8 download the app and make sure you keep track of time because a cop passes by car by car.
It was really unfortunate tonight to see a dine & dash at this restaurant. I had gotten in when it was quite busy and noticed a lady was dining alone by the window, she had asked for takeaway of what she couldn't finish. I didn't think anything of it but as I was sitting by the door I saw that she abruptly left leaving behind her to-go containers and beer. The young man had returned with a paper bag for her looking confused, I noted she had just gotten up and left. He went to find her but no luck. I am not sure how to speak to her experience but I thought this restaurant was quite quaint with friendly servers and the food was quick and delicious. I ordered the pumpkin curry and was amazed by the huge portions, likely intended for family style to share. I would not hesitate to go back again for the many other dishes.
This is a great little Thai restaurant! They are not just slapping together boring old Pad Thai noodle dishes (although they do have Pad Thai on their extensive menu). We tried something a little different and were rewarded with an exquisite meal. The "Fish in Lime Sauce" we had was steamed Sole in a strong citrus sauce served with fresh broccoli. Super flavorful. The other dish we tried was "Green Bean Curry paste Shrimp". This was a stir-fried spicy Curry with green beans and either Shrimp or Chicken. The green beans were just so light and crispy which offset the dark spicy flavor of the sauce beautifully. Started with a Chicken Satay appetizer and that was top notch too. Would definitely recommend this place.

We love stopping at Thai Classic when we go through Paso. We tend to do noodles when we do Thai food, but their spicy fried rice is the best, so it's hard to think about ordering something else. The pineapple fried rice and Pad Thai are also delicious. The service is great and our experience is that we don't have to wait long for the food to be ready.
i literally never leave reviews but y’all this lunch special is so insanely good.. to get that much quality food for 13.50 in california is a blessing! and having been to thailand i can say this place is super authentic and delicious!! service is lovely, food is perfect (plus you can make anything vegetarian) and the lunch special price can’t be beat. would rate 10 stars if i could— try the curry!
The taste is exquisite❤️ We ordered green curry, pineapple fried rice and the cucumber salad.. The green curry did not look exactly green for the taste is amazing. We asked for medium spicy in. It was perfect. Pineapple fried rice was not to oily. We would definitely visit again.
Very good spot just off of the park. We had the seaweed soup, veggie pad thai, and beef green curry. It was all delicious! Curry was my favorite! Service is amazing especially since it is so busy. They were packed on a Friday night. Good wine list and yummy looking desserts. I'll try and save room to try those next time!!
Great customer service plus amazing food. Never been disappointed. It is truly a classic Thai food. Best Thai food in the area!!
The ladies at Thai Classic are amazing and so is the Food! Thank you for an Amazing Meal I will see you again soon! Paso Bob🇺🇸

The people there are very sweet and service is great. We were there on Christmas Day and were very happy this was open because we were visiting from out of town and all the other restaurants were closed. Food was mixed. Some dishes were good and others not so good.
Made a pitstop in Paso for lunch. We felt like Thai and so walked into this place. And it was a find. We ordered the lunch specials. The complimentary soup that came was very good but wasn’t hot enough. We ordered the red curry and fried fish in Panang curry. The red x curry was amazing however the panang was a little sweet atleast for my palate. They have spice levels from 1 to 5 for their dishes. I got spice level 4 for the red curry and it was perfect. If you like spicy food, go atleast for 4! Finally, I think the portions could have been a bit larger. Overall the experience and service was great, so this place is definitely worth a try!
I got green curry here. The service is really friendly and courteous. The food itself is okay, pretty good portion, glad they dont add weird food coloring in it to make it extra green but it is (imo) less full of spices and more coconutty/neutral. Curry doesn't come with rice ($3). I like the atmosphere of the restaurant. Parking is free for two hours outside, but make sure you register your vehicle.
Small, friendly atmosphere in downtown Paso! The food was really good- cashew chicken was awesome, orange chicken was also really good, but had a subtle flavor I couldn’t put my finger on. The Thai iced tea was soooo delicious!

Food quality is good but the portions are quite small and contain very little meat/shrimp.
Great service and the food is well prepared. Cute small dinning area. Large menu of Thai classics with a full vegetarian menu.
Very Tasty Food, alacarte dishes mostly gravy and little protein, looked like 3 soup dishes, when we ordered 3 Alacarte dishes. Small portion size for noodles.Waitress attitude bit disappointing, felt rude.

Came here on a Saturday night while driving through the area on 101. The place can get busy and you need to wait to be seated. However, they don't really have a good waitlist system so they write your name down on the back of a notepad and they forget about it until they see you again, so you always worry if it is first come first serve or not, and have to be by the door just in case. Even once you are seated, the service is mediocre. They took 20 minutes to refill my order, gave me a dirty plate which they needed to be told multiple times to replace otherwise they forget. The food was good, so that is the best part of this restaurant. We ordered Mango Chicken Curry and Penang Curry Fish, and had to order steam white rice separately for $2 each, which seems like a cash grab. This should be included with the curry entree. The restaurant is quite small too. I ordered very spicy but it was only a little bit spicy. Not authentic Thai spicy at all.

For the price, this was very bland thai food. Let me clarify the Lab sauce was vinegar and oil, no sign of lime juice or fresh pounded chillies or holy basil. The spicy noodles were sweet! , how disappointing. To top all of this they tried to charge me double the price, except I reviewed the charge and while they apologized it was not sincere. I'm the locals like this place and think the food is good, however one as an Asian and two having been to Thailand, this restaurant is not even close.
They food was over priced and did not like the food. It was too salty and the thia ice tea was too sweet. I definitely wont be back to buy from there. Was not worth the money, furniture to be pricy I expected it the food to be at least good. I ended up not eating it all because it was too salty.

After reading these reviews, I am reluctant to add my two cents but I feel obligated to let others know my experience. We used to come here often and food was amazing, but after the last few times this Thai restaurant has left us with the question…. Did they sell or change ownership. Portions are very small for the price and very little meat in the dishes, so much bell peppers and vegetables. The Mongolian beef was spicy and what little meat was in the dish, had so much gristle it was unedible. The peanut chicken had more nuts than chicken. Very disappointing and I asked the waitress if they sold… when she said no, I was shocked because now it’s become apparent that the owners really don’t care about their customers and they could care less if the consumer will pay the price over quantity and quality. The staff is really nice and attentive, the atmosphere is on the plain side with a buddha shrine right in the middle of the restaurant. For Paso Robles and the fact it’s a visitors heaven, this place really needs to change or they will be closing doors as there is so many other choices of great food in the surrounding area.
