Myka was excellent. The food is always wonderful. My friends and I come to this restaurant every week and always get wonderful service. I recommend everyone to come here.

We decided to give Cotton Patch a try. We had the skillet cornbread for an appetizer and it was pretty good. My wife has the grilled pork chop with baked squash and broccoli casserole. She really enjoyed it all. I had the beef tips with fried okra and green beans. Everything tasted great and we will definitely be back. Portions were very generous and we had to go boxes with enough for both of us to have a second meal.

We absolutely love this place especially the customer service. Zanya is the best she is very friendly nice and always gets our order right she never makes us feel rushed we definitely will be going back!

The hostess was going to sit us at a table and I asked if we could have a booth. She immediately took us to one. Then our waitress was so kind! My fork wasn't cleaned properly and she offered plastic forks. I explained it was fine and that I was just picky. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and was about to get the regular item on the menu and she pointed out that it was the special of the day. Once again going above and beyond! Our food came out quickly and was delicious! The only picture I took was of my salad because when the rest came out, I was already salivating so I forgot to snap more.

After being burned several times by the abysmal service at several Cracker Barrel locations lately, I’d been looking for some place to fill that down home comfort food void in my heart and/or stomach. The chicken n’ dumplings tastes like it’s completely from scratch, the cornbread (which I believe should always be sweet) is probably the best I’ve ever had save for Famous Dave’s. The service is usually on point here and the management is very friendly. Very clean and cozy atmosphere and we’ve not once had an issue with our food or drinks. Food is always hot and comes out exactly as we’d ordered it. There’s been times I chose to stop in here for the cornbread alone. This is a comfort food chain done right. We frequent this establishment.

We had Myka as our server. She was helpful in giving us a few of her favorites & did not disappoint us with our drinks staying filled! We sure had her running around for more sweet tea! Thanks Myka you’re the best!

2/2/26 I was in Chicken Fried Steak & cream gravy withdrawal last week during the snow/ice event. Thankfully my mental health has been improving with a delicious dinner. Tomorrow I will be fully recovered with Chicken Fried Chicken & gravy. 2025 The 9.99 daily special is unbeatable. The food is fabulous and the customer service exceptional. I eat there 2 to 3 times a week. The experiences are consistent so it is very comfortable to be there. 12/2/25 Still eating here every Monday, Tuesday and some Thursdays. My sister, daughter and grandson came in to eat for dinner when we noticed a man and a lady pitching in asking tables if we need anything, while also cleaning tables. When he came over again asking if we need anything we asked him if he was a manager here. He was the general manager and the lady was the regional manager. It’s not everyday you see the managers pitching in to help their staff. This was something that stood out to us and appreciated. Not to mention the food was fresh and delicious and our waiter was pretty attentive as well for them to be short staffed. Great job guys! Keep up the amazing work!

I came in with a difficult request and the manager was so helpful and wonderful! My usual catering venue was unable to fulfill my holiday luncheon so I went in the day of my event and asked the manager if he and the staff would be able to cater a meal for 25 individuals in a very small window of time. THE FOOD!! 🤯 THE SERVICE!! 🤯 I had the strawberry salad with salmon, it was amazing the salmon cooked to perfection and the presentation was so beautiful! All the colors the freshest greens beautiful strawberries! If you haven’t been to Cotton Patch in a while you NEED to come back! Our waitress Gabby was so sweet very tentative and the GM Tracy is so amazing really hands one management he’s willing to clean a table, seat guest or help out his staff in any way possible to make their jobs easier you really don’t see management like that anymore. Had a terrific lunch today at Cotton Patch Cafe . Iced tea to drink. Got the Texas Caviar to start. It comes with thick and warm tortilla chips. This was really yummy! Then went with today's special the Chicken Fried Chicken with Jalapeno Cream Gravy. My sides were green beans and mashed potatoes. Had the gravy on the potatoes as well. Folks this chicken breast was perfectly breaded and very well cooked with a crispy crust. The chicken was juicy and almost an inch thick in places! Green beans had a little bacon with them and the mashed potatoes were real. Jalapeno Cream Gravy on all was very tasty! Service was fast and very friendly. Great way to spend my lunch!!

I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. We were sat quickly even though it was busy, we had great service. Our server was on top of everything, at our table, and taking care of his whole section. He brought our salads out before the entree and with our drinks. We didn’t get our appetizer bc the food came out so fast and the waiter removed it from our bill before he gave us the ticket. The food was delicious and the rolls and the salad were so good as well. They have the best peach tea! We would love to come back here again. Everyone seemed happy and cared about their customers and the hostess were very nice. 5/5 stars for me. The desserts are also really good, try the pumpkin spice cake!

We had a pretty good sized party of about 10 people and the service was exceptional. The food was out in a timely manner, and, the drinks stayed full and the service was consistent. The new menu is nice and has a large selection and variety of different things to choose from. I tried the founder, a couple different ways, the chicken fried chicken, and large friend mushrooms and everything was well cooked and seasoned well. I will say if you have a party larger than 10, don't just show up but call ahead because it's not really Alot of space for large parties but they did handle it well. Everyone was satisfied with the food, definitely a place I put in my recommendations list.

Greeted by the hostess as soon as we walked in. Seated promptly. Our server arrived right away. Ordered chips and quest to start. Then main entrees were triple cheese bacon burger and small chicken fried steak with broccoli and apples. Everything was hot and cooked to order. Delicious. Complimentary bread rolls and butter were yummy. Got the butter cake to go, and it was wonderful. We will eat here again.

Everything was tasty, the place is a bit dated and the floor was sticky but we enjoyed our meals. We got meatloaf and steak. The rolls are better than most any other place we've been too and that's saying something. The butter they gave with the rolls was so good that I actually just ate it straight from the little container. 😂

So, the night to go to Cotton Patch is sunday night after Texas Tech graduation. They were put of several key items on their menu...chips, no not chips and salsa; some of the juices for several of the mixed drinks and french fries. Now, I found it odd that they have fresh raw potatoes and could make baked potatoes, but they were unable to make french fries. When I asked the waitress, she even thought that french fries only come in a bag!! Does anyone else see a problem here?!? Sounds like management needs some training on knowing the events going on in the city and ordering accordingly and how to make french fries from raw potatoes!!

Our dinner sucked to be honest. The service was not good. Won't be going back. Chicken nuggets didn't have any flavor. Plus we ended up with diarrhea the next day. The sunday rush was over and weren't busy at the time but so many dirty tables.

Food was hot & delicious. Service was way better than on previous visits! (Thanks Andy!) There was only a 30min wait for it being a Sunday which was great! Sadly, they were out of my fav (baked potatoes) but substituted loaded mashed potatoes 😊 we are frequent visitors and will definitely be back!

We went to the Cotton Patch at 4:45 on March 14,2023. The décor was really nice. We didn't see any employees, and it took a while for them to seat us. Once they had seated us, they did take our order quickly. They had advertised a chicken fried brisket, but when we ordered it, they said that they were out. They should have taken the sign down if they didn't have it. Then when they brought our order, the server noticed that they brought a chicken fried chicken instead of the chicken fried steak that we ordered. She offered to exchange it but we told her that we were fine with what she brought. However, our salad was missing the avocado and we had to flag her down to bring it, which she did quickly. Finally, when we wanted to pay, once again we could not find any employees. Overall, the restaurant was nice and the food was tasty. The prices are about what you would expect. The server was pleasant when we saw her, but she would disappear and there was nobody left in the front of the restaurant. They also shouldn't advertise food that they don't have. We were disappointed with our trip, but I realize that everybody has a bad day. The food was worth giving them another try. We will definitely go back, but we're not in any hurry.

I ordered a take out salad on February 03, at 4:30 pm. I sat at the bar and a young woman took my order which I paid for at that time. I thought a 40% tip would have at least warranted a thank you. Order Chicken Fried Chicken on a three day BOGO offer. Ordered placed online two a half hours of scheduled pick up time. Arrived at the exact scheduled pick up time and saw my two entrees in a plastic bag sitting out on the bar. Upon arrival at home 10" later, I discovered there were a total of two dinner rolls in a small sack for two entrees. The portion size was closer to Tuesday Special.. I took the baked squash casserole and a separate portion of the Chicken Fried Chicken to reheat in the microwave. My wife's entree was identical to mine. The size of the dinner roll is proportional to the size of the chicken fried chicken. I've ordered and eaten at this Cotton Patch lots of times over the years, but I'll have to rethink on any further visits.

Do NOT ever get their holiday meal. I paid for 12 servings and they gave us enough sides for MAYBE four people. It was $179, so I could have spent the $30 on their turkey and rolls and spend the additional money on making sides and still had $100 left over.

Got to my car and attempted to call the restaurant but 3 calls went unanswered until the call was dropped. I asked where the previous Mgr was because i had not seen her on my last few visits and the food and service have declined immensely. KEIRSTIN should not be in a Mgr position. She is rude, lazy and could care less about the customer or the business. SHOULD INSTRUCT ALL EMPLYEES TO AT LEAST GREET CUSTOMERS and inform them someone will be them. I took a picture of everyone sitting. Shame the business has become so bad. I read a FB post on another restaurant who is offering turkey and drsg. The person commented how awful it was at Cotton Patch.

My husband and I got here around 1:10pm on a Sunday and got on the waiting list for a party of 2. The hostess said the wait for 2 people would only be 15-20 minutes. They were pretty busy so I figured it would be a little bit longer. After 30 minutes, we checked in with the hostess and she said there was only 2 more parties ahead of us. After about 45 minutes we were finally able to sit inside because the people in the indoor waiting area were seated. A woman asked a question (not rudely at all) about when her party would be seated and the hostess was not friendly. After the woman turned her back to walk away the hostess made a rude face at her, annoyed with her question. Right at the hour mark we noticed a party of 5 who arrived AFTER us get seated. We brought it to the attention of the hostess and she said they were waiting on a big table for us. We were confused because we only had a party of 2, so we reminded her of that. She said she had us down for a party of 9. We reminded her we only had a party of 2 and she confirmed it was a party of 2 when we put our name down by saying “15-20 minutes for a party of 2.” In an annoyed tone, she said “oh my bad I guess I misread my handwriting and wrote 9.” Without an apology, she had one of the 4 hostesses seat us. Our waitress was very friendly and we asked for the manager immediately after getting our drinks to inform him of the incident with the hostess. He was very apologetic and offered us a free appetizer. However, we had already ordered our food since we had been waiting so long so we asked for a dessert instead and he agreed. The waitress was very apologetic as well. However, the service was extremely slow. She hardly checked on us at all while other tables had their waitress come by at least 5 times in between when our waitress came to the table. The fries with my order were so tiny, flavorless, and crispy I couldn’t eat them. I asked her if they were new (this was my 3rd time here and the fries in the past were fluffy and delicious). She said they ordered the wrong ones so they weren’t their new fries just temporary ones. After our dessert came we had to wait a long period of time again for the check. By this point the restaurant was relatively empty because the rush was gone (it was now after 3pm) so we were confused how it was still taking so long. We are very disappointed in our experience here and will not be back.

Second time ordering from Cotton Patch and I will never go back. Had a bad experience the first time, but I thought I’d give it another try. Yet another bad experience! Did takeout and food was cold, fries were old and hard. As much as food costs nowadays it’s a shame to do this to a customer!

The service is horrible. Our waitess was passing our plates across instead of going around the person that they belong to. She didn't have any kind of waitess etiquette.

Service server only checked on us when she thought it was convenient for her and then watching. She heard me say that if she don't start bringing us water and stuff like that her tip was going to go down. We didn't see her at all. Food was cold grease tasted like it was old and burnt. The fries were nasty. My wife got a burger. It was dried out. I got a chicken fried steak and it was just horrible. Corn was cold. The mashed potatoes were cold. We had to ask for everything. Wasn't a very good experience. Never go back

Worse experience we ever had at a restaurant service by our waiter was awesome,our food took way to long one of our kids meal we had to ask the waiter to put it in a to go box because we were almost done eating when they brought my boys plate out and it was a kids burger,I ordered a steak it was cold by the time we got our food,like I said our waiter was good food took to long we got there about 6:45 left the restaurant almost at 9 thats how long it took for us to get our food never again it was last time going there

I called and ordered ahead for pickup on a Sunday afternoon. I've been waiting 50 minutes. You can smell smoke from the kitchen, poor exhaust ventilation. The food here is always good, but food preparation is slow. The excuse is waiting on rolls. Witnessed the shift manager use table salt to de-ice sidewalk. You would think they would spend a little money on real ice melt safe prep salt.

I been coming here for years. Today we ordered a chicken fried chicken, a steak and baked potatoe, and a burger. Had to wait another extra 30 mins, which who cares, I love this place and the food I dont mind the extra wait. They forgot the gravy. Whatever stuff happens. No biggie. Turned back around for gravy. Get home and find out I got a chicken fried steak instead. Fine, I'll eat it. Poured the gravy and something chunky fell out of the cup. That kinda ruined the chicken fried steak for me. Asked for medium well on the steak. It was basically a hockey puck. My wife couldn't even eat it. The burger was so greasy the bun was soggy and falling apart. The worst part is the attitude when we are picking up out food and having to return for gravy. Like its our fault? Im so fed up with the below par service but to completely screw up our order on top of it...I'm good. We just won't be coming back anymore. Too many places to eat these days around here to have to deal with that kinda bs.

We’ve never had such a bad experience here before. We’ve come at all different times of the day, and last night was by far the worst. We usually have great service and never any issues, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case this time. We understand that it gets busy, and we’ve come during busy times before, but we’ve never had to wait almost 45 minutes for our food. During that time, our drinks were never refilled, and we weren’t offered more bread or checked on at all. When our food finally came out, everything was cold, and the bottom of my potato was still a bit undercooked. When our server finally came back, we asked to speak with the manager. We truly appreciate the manager coming by, apologizing, and offering a discount on our meal. We just hope that next time our experience will be better, as this isn’t what we’re used to.

The husband and I used to eat here a few times a month. I don't know what's changed, but, the food is SUFFERING. We ate there 2 weeks ago, the hubby got the chuckwagon chicken, they didn't put any chuckwagon on the chicken, jus a plain grilled breast. My blt was inedible. We got an order yesterday, and again, no chuckwagon, jus a plain grilled breast. I got a sirloin, requested medium, my steak was like chewing on the sole of a shoe it was sooooo dry and overcooked, couldn't even eat it. We both got the "garlic mashed potatoes", that weren't garlic at all, they didn't even have salt in them! They were bland and gross. This was the 3rd time in a row we got home with our food and found that it was complete garbage. The only thing they serve up thats still good is the buttercake. Not to mention, they're waaaaaaay overpriced, especially since the quality of the food is atrocious. We made our last trip to the cottonpatch.
