Opinions de Raspados Colima Lubbock
We usually get the carne asada tacos, which are great, but Oh man I must of had the best carnitas burrito that I have had in a long time. It was delicious and I will be getting those more often here.
Everything is always great... Sometimes you have to wait in line 30 minutes to an hour but it is always worth the wait ....prices are decent and the quantity and quality of everything on the menu is just awesome... If I could I would give them 10 Stars
Somewhat of a small establishment but the food is cheap and taste incredible, they sell a bunch of Mexican antojitos an street foods, as well as full on meals. If i were to be nitpicking i would love if they had white corn instead of yellow for a more authentic elote
The birria tacos are huge 😋
Best Carne Asada burritos in town! Great friendly service. This place is absolutely awesome you won’t be disappointed
This place is great only one of there places has the loaded fried with the meat on top just thought I’d mention that because we have to go to the one on Clovis Road to get it. Would recommend to anyone ❤️❤️
The cheesy birria tacos are really good. I love the fruit trays. Good customer service. It does get pretty busy here.
We were visiting Lubbock when my friend who live there suggested this restaurant. We were so glad that she did. The food was great and we will go back again when we are back in town. Thank you Raspados for the good food.
Must try food and wonderful service
This place is absolutely amazing! The cheesy birria tacos, barbacoa tacos and chicken flautas are fantastic! And you can never go wrong with their fruit cups and cheesy hot Cheetos!
best snacks EVER!! you need to try something savory for your main plate such as elote en vaso with the always delicious cotija cheese on top, then to finish something sweet like fresas y crema, mango fruit cup, agua fresca or raspas! their al pastor is the best in town & now they offer birria. YUM!!!
We came on a little adventure this weekend to get out of town. We didn't want to go too far from home. So we decided Lubbock sounds good. We are always looking for the best Birra, Al Pastor, Asada fries, and Elotes. COLIMAS DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! The Birra is, in fact, probably the best in town as the sign out front says! The sauce is so good you could drink it alone and be in heaven. The pineapple on the Al Pastor made this dish authentic, not to mention the rice and beans! Elotes were out of this world, I got mine in the cup!
Tacos were awesome and the rice and beans are on point, I always try and go to new locations all over Texas like this and this is by far the best Mexican food I have had. Friendly staff and great food can’t be beat.
In one word, Amazing!! Real, authentic Mexican food. Reminded me of the food growing up in San Antonio! It was perfect. The fried gorditas are excellent. The pineapple drink was refreshing and paired perfectly with the food. Can't wait to go back! This is my new favorite!!
This place has been a long time favorite for snacks and dinner. They have a variety of mexican snack foods like fruit cups, elotes, Hot Cheetos with pickles, gummies, tajin, chamoy and squirt of lemon and let's not forget the actual food like the street tacos, quesadillas and many other options. They have a convenient drive-thru or small dining area if you would like to eat in.
We go every Saturday. Love the drive thru. Great fast service. In love with cheesy birria tacos, aguas frescas and the fruit trays. Try it out for amazing Mexican food and treats!
Im really hard to please and I tell you that these guys have reliable street tacos. They shine even brighter with their customer service.
We decided to try this places a year ago and we loved it. I been trying to find a place that has delicious corn in a cup and this omg got it right. And the chicken flautas are delicious too. Would highly recommend this place
This is authentic Mexican food. I've never tried anything bad here. All of the aguas frescas are sooooo good as well as the horchata. The carne asada is amazing in the gorditas or on fries. The elotes are on the spicer side so beware if heat isn't for you. This is one of my core places I take non-Lubbock folks to.
Absolutely wonderful street tacos. The building is a bit run-down and the operation feels very hand-made, but that's just a sign that the food will be authentic and good! Wonderful service.
Some of the very best Mexican food I've had anywhere. I'm upset I've been missing out on this place for years but I will definitely be back often. My wife and my son said exactly the same. The people working were really nice and helpful as well. This is one of the few places in Lubbock that has elote at all and it tastes fantastic. They also have a goot number of frescas (I think 7), most I've not seen anywhere else.
We ordered the cheesy birria and it was amazing! So far the best we have had since moving. We also tried their hot cheetah corn on cob and a cup. It was delicious. We also had loaded fries and love how they didn’t get soggy. The strawberry horchata Fresca was fantastic. Only feed back is the hot sauce its kinda basic and could use more flavored but everything else is amazing! We will be back!
Excellent food and quick friendly service! The steak quesadilla had lots of meat and cheese with lots of flavor. Added a dash of the hot sauce and that made it so much better! Rice and beans were flavorful. Beans were a little thin but still very good and mixed with the rice and some hot sauce was perfection. Washed it all down with a strawberry lime lemonade. Great eat local place!
Tacos were super good! Authentic mexican food. Barbacoa was the bestttt! Birria was a huge taco, super good too. Need the consome next time. 🙌 the agua’s fresca’s were also on point. 10/10 come check this place out.
One of the Best birria places in Lubbock. I love the fruit trays. Great aguas frescas. One of my favorite spots. Service is friendly, seating area is always clean. They even have a drive thru.
If you’re looking for some authentic Mexican food in Lubbock this is spot!! They serve the best tacos, tortas, quesadillas, burritos, gorditas, antojitos, elotes and frutas. The staff is super friendly, I highly recommend this place!
Best and I mean best Barria tacos from here down to Midland/Odessa so far. These things are to die for. OMG, I can't say it enough how good they are. I've been twice now. Next time I need to try something else but I doubt that will happen. The staff is friendly and welcoming too. Love it here. Favorite restaurant in Lubbock.
Drown me in a vat of their fresas con crema and I'll be alright 😌🤤
Food was great! We had birria, supreme nachos, krazy Cheetos elitos, dorielitos, quesadillas, horchata, and a strawberry crème
Went through drive through. The food was so delicious, the Aguas frescas were tasty, and the elote cup was fantastic. The birria tacos were so great! The flautas were big and crispy so I will come back and try more Went back and ate outdoors. The sopes are soo good.
For all the Lubbock OGs who were heartbroken when Raspados closed -- good news: this *is* Raspados! I confirmed with the family running it, and yes, it’s the same people behind the counter, serving up the same deliciously comforting tacos, tortas, elotes, and horchata you remember. Sure, it’s tucked away in a little-rough-around-the-edges part of town, much like the original spot -- but honestly, what did you expect? You come here not because it's fancy, but because it's the best Mexican food in Lubbock. Go, eat, and leave with your belly feeling wonderful.
My taste buds are still tingling from our last visit! The food was cooked to perfection. I found the ambiance to be very charming. The desserts must be sprinkled with crack because I just craved for more and more. Easily earned their 5 stars!
All im saying is you need to come here if you actually love Mexican food. As soon as I walked in through the front door I knew it was going to be authentic. From the Caldo de res to the massive birria tacos to the Elote everything was EXACTLY what i needed. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! I will only be coming here when in the area without a doubt!
Best authentic tacos in town.
2 lunch items, and a large drink. Both were awesome. Gordita plate, was delicious. The bround beef ultimate nachos were amazing. Had a little of everything on them and the taste was awesome. Ate both of the for 2 days. The hot sauce is super tasty. Not too hot. Both the green and the red. I ABSOLUTELY recommend this place.
The food here is FANTASTIC!!! We had the Birria and Asada taco plate then we decided to get a Elote cup to try. Some of the best Mexican food I've had in Lubbock.

You know it’s authentic when you can barely read the menu!!! Staff was very helpful and patient as we decided… I went with the asada burrito and glad I did!!! It was bigger than my head and filled with goodness!! Made 2 meals out of it actually!!! Hot sauce (both red and green) were hot but not burn your mouth hot!! Will definitely be back
Absolutely delicious 😋 asada tacos definitely my favorite not a big fan of there elotes but everything else I've had was amazing 🥰

This place is a must try!! Absolutely delicious. We tried a little of everything on our visit seeing as this location has a little bit more expanded menu. (Flautas & gorditas aren't available @ clovis location) The flautas are a must-try! Super crunchy. Filled with delicious chicken. Gorditas I tried were asada and beans/cheese. Yes, yes, yes!! We also got the asada fries. They traditionally come with crema and pico de Gallo (which I omitted). We added guacamole. My fiance loved them. The flavors were there, but for me personally it was a bit much. I think I've decided they just aren't for me. 😶 my fiance tried a torta de asada (his 1st time) and he loved it. The portions are great for the price. For everything we ordered, we paid roughly $45. We also had an horchata and 2 Coca Cola de botella. There are very few tables for dining in. A couple of booths outside similar to their Clovis location. The service was ok. No one was rude, but they were busy and it showed. We stood there for a good couple minutes before even being acknowledged. I feel they need to develop a better system for whomever is taking out the food. It doesn't seem there's a whole lot of communication between whoever takes orders and brings them out. Lots of times we were offered food we hadn't ordered and food kept going back and forth between the dining room and kitchen bc of the confusion. ⚠️FOR THE COVID CONSCIOUS⚠️ These tables are NOT distanced. The place is TINY so you'll be crowded by other diners as well as people waiting in line to order, so if you're claustrophobic or just very covid conscious, I'd eat outdoors or order and take it home.
