I'm a trucker in Lubbock of all places for a few weeks. Lubbock is a nice area for family owned business and community people, but too drastic of a change compared to Atlanta. Anyway, I was craving good food the whole time I was there. I finally looked to Google search for help and found this place. I'm a pizza head so this was just what I was looking for. I read the reviews and started navigation. It was early lunch time and the place was quiet. I placed my order, and when the first pizza came out, it looked & smelled so good I ordered another for the road since it was the last day of my contract. The pizza lives up to the 5star reviews, I love the crust. The sauce was thin on the pizzas which made it seem dry if it's not piping hot, so enjoy while it's hot!

Pizza was amazing, probably the best pizza I’ve had in a long time! Chicken bacon ranch was so good! I always order a cheese pizza because if a pizza place can’t make a cheese pizza then they shouldn’t be making anything else, nevertheless cheese pizza had the perfect cheese and dough ratio!

It took some time to get our pizza. But well worth the wait. Crust was sooo good, the red sauce for the cheese bread, NEED the recipe Took the majority to go Even better an hour later. PB&J PIZZA WAS THE BOMB 💣 **There was a street taco pizza???? I didn't see that on the menu Definitely a must try place if ever in that area

Phenomenal local pizza joint in a great neighborhood strip. Your usual options as well as unique specialty pizzas. They have both cauliflower and zucchini gluten free crust options. I tried The Rabbit which was a great vegetarian specialty with eggplant and artichokes. Bar and regular table height options for small to medium size groups as well as a small patio if the day is nice.

We stopped in for lunch. Our group had cheese sticks, a calzone, pepperoni pizza, an Italian sub, and a Greek salad. Everything was awesome. Our waitress was perfect.

Ordered the special green chile chicken pizza and cheese bread. It was delicious all around. My husband said something was missing on the pizza but he likes his green chilies a bit spicier and these were mild. They were perfect for anyone who doesn’t like it can’t handle spicy. Delicious sauce. The cheese bread was perfect! Great service. Nice atmosphere. Will definitely come back here again, but try a different pizza next time.

We got the smokehouse pizza and it was REALLY good. It is top 5 best pizzas I have ever had. The atmosphere was a western rustic style. It is a cute simple place to watch a football game while drinking a cold one.

My wife and I have been here several times over the years! Solid consistent fantastic service. Always a perfect experience, not sure why I haven’t ever in the past put a review for this place. However this time around, I wanted to share because it’s such a great pizza joint. We come to Lubbock a lot and this is a go to place for great Calzones and so many other options to choose from. Highly recommend!!!!

Our first time at Capital Pizza & it did not disappoint! The cheese bread was awesome!! Especially with the marinara!! We got a large “Big One” pizza & it easily fed 5 adults & we even took home a slice. Service was fast & friendly. The place was a little crowded when we got there. After we sat down they opened up another room, but we stayed where we originally had sat. I will definitely make this one of my stops any time I come to Lubbock.

Great little restaurant with awesome pizza!! Make your own or pick one of the standards. Large bar with beers and some specialty mixed drinks. This is the one on Boston in the Tech area. They have a new location on Slide and 82...the old rib crib. Need to try them out!!

Usually the better Capital Pizza between them and the one on 82nd&Slide. It was so burnt that it was almost impossible to eat. Only reason I gave two starts is because I like Capital Pizza usually. Should have given them 1 start though

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! Went in to it’s a pizza for take out….male bartender ignored us then said he would be right with us. Took drinks to a table of ladies and chatted while we waited, came back to the bar and continued to ignore us. FINALLY asked what drinks we wanted and we said only ordering 1 pizza for take out. He said it would be 45min to 1hr. I’m sure if he hadn’t made me wait 30min I would have gotten my pizza 15 min after all my time there. This place only caters to college students and women. I will continue to go to the slide road location, never any issues there. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS LOCATION ANS DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.

Ordered takeout over the phone, poor call quality - one large pizza. Was told it would be ready in an hour. We waited 90 minutes at goodline, heard nothing so we went over to check on the order. We had zero staff members check on us - had to approach the before and catch someone to ask about our order. Waited another 5 minutes and then we decided to leave and cancel the order. We shouldn't have to wait over 90 minutes for a pizza, and then when we arrive to try and check on it - get poor customer service.
