We came to Rosa’s for the first time to grab some lunch, order some great Taco salad and some soft and crispy tacos. The food was delicious, and the restaurant was pleasant to eat in. This restaurant was nicely decorated, gave a welcoming vibe. What can I say, we just love this restaurant. We most definitely will be coming back. if you love real good Mexican food, I would highly recommend checking out this restaurant.
Love Rosa's. Although the costs have increased, the quality continues to deliver. The food is always fresh and delicious. Breakfast is my favorite 😍
Nice place to eat when you're taking the family. The food is good, it's not loud, and got four adults in and out for under $100.
Sundays are not the day to go. It was busy busy.... But they had the crowd under control. The food was hot and delicious as usual. Place was pretty clean the tables needed cleaning off as we sat down, but right after that the got after the tables. Salsa was good and fresh. Always consistent and fun.
Had a wonderful and very inexpensive lunch today at Rosa’s. Staff was friendly & welcoming; especially the attendant at the salsa bar. I have always been hesitant at the self serving salsa bar, but today there was somebody consistently looking over it, keeping it clean, and keeping it stocked. Ordered 2 taco plates (Taco Tuesday Special $6.59), 2 drinks, guacamole with chips and a side of queso.
When we first walked in there was a bit of a line, in less than 5 mins it was our turn to order. Our cashier was very respectful and answered any questions we had, I believe his name was Jose. Our food came out by the time we filled our drinks and got a table. Our plates were filled and we sure did eat all of it. They have multiple screens so depending on where you are seated, you can still see when your order is up!
I’ve been to this location a few times now and man their breakfast is good! It is very affordable and there is hardly no wait time! The designs inside are cool with plenty to look at too. I definitely recommend.
I called in a large to go order fir 13 people. The order process was easy and stress free. The young lady who took my order was polite, informative and helpful. When I arrived, my order was ready in 2 minutes and, boy was it ever delicious! The staff volunteered to assist me to the car (again, BIG order). That was very helpful. One of my dinner guests, a seasoned cheif from Mexico, was very complementary about the rice, saying how she was extremely impressed with its moistness, fluffiness and flavor. All of us give Rosa's a 10!
Great Mexican food place, missed coming here. It’s been 4 years since I’ve been to a Rosa’s and the taste didn’t change, it’s yummy and Mexican food truly is Mexican. From freshly made tortillas to salsa. PS I know Mexican since I’m one 😂😂😂just one thing I wish they had , gluten free menu or tortillas. Please have them since my daughter is allergic
Stopped by on a Monday evening and the inside wasn’t too busy, but the drive through never slowed down. It was bumper to bumper the whole time we were there. Staff was friendly and super fast. As far as I’m concerned this is just about the best fast food you can get. Make your order, get your drink and by the time everyone is seated the food is ready. Everything we got was hot and our order was correct. The atmosphere is pleasing, I really like the decor and the vibrant colors. What more could you ask for, good fast food at good prices in a pleasant atmosphere.
Quick stop through Lubbock and stopped at Rosa’s for dinner. Fajita meat was nice and tender and very flavor full. Kids enjoyed their burrito and tacos and the salsa bar was wonderful! Priced a little high, but that’s ok for how fast the service was. I heard taco Tuesday is a must and they also serve breakfast. They do have a drive thru if you prefer to stay in your car.
The food is excellent, but the price is too high. Aside from Taco Tuesday they should have a special on fajitas, since that is one of their specialties besides the tortillas. Plus the price that they charge and what you get for what they charge. Other than that, super excellenté!!
I would give 4.5 stars. Food was quick. It didn't give a feel of fast food place, at the same time this isn't a restaurant. Ambience was great, food was decent + good, service was quick and great. We are traveling to Texas and this place was worth to try.
This was our first time at a Rosa's, and we were excited to experience it in Lubbock! We loved the colorful decorations and being able to see the tortillas being made! It was a bit pricey for fast food (no waitressing service), but pretty good overall. We recommend the crunchy tacos. The food was ready for us very quickly!
Typical line in the drive thru. Burrito Plate and Guacamole Salad pretty standard but had a good flavor and a lot of food. Refried beans were too runny. Guacamole had a little too much lemon in it. 3-20-24 Decided to try the breakfast tacos today and was disappointed. The bacon & egg had a very small portion of filling with only about 40% of the soft taco filled. The taste was way too salty. The steak fajita and egg had almost half again more filling and had a better taste but there was again too much salt. There are much better options out there for a quick breakfast.
It's been over 5 years since I ate here. We decided to see if I could handle their food (as I am diabetic and need to be careful of what I eat so as not to spike my blood sugar). The #56 beef enchilada plate was as tasty as I remembered. I did not eat the rice (since it's one of the things I can no longer eat, even in moderation), nor did I eat any of their amazing-smelling fresh tortillas they provide with your order. Dad did though, and he really enjoyed it.
My sisters and I have gotten fajitas taco a few times, and they have been only putting like two or three pieces of meat in them. The nachos are awesome though. So this has become the nachos place.
I used to go to rosas all the time came to this location and it was dirtyyyy!!! I ordered a basket of sophas for after meal and someone took them after waiting. We waited another 20 minutes to get the order and after waiting the whole time this is what we get smh no cinnamon or sugar on these. Won't be back to this location I'm going to mine.
This is not a cafe. This is fast food Mexican. I was passing through town and wanted some good Mexican food. Unfortunately, I chose Rosa's Cafe. The building is beautiful, the decor inside is beautiful, the employees were super helpful and kind, and it is conveniently located right off the freeway, but the food was terrible. I ordered the tamale plate. By my pictures I'm posting you probably can't tell there are even tamales on the plate because they put so much heavy sauce on them. There are three tiny tamales that probably equal the size of one normal tamale. I couldn't even taste the tamales because the sauce was so heavy and so strong. Tamales don't need sauce. They are amazing if they are just served plain in their corn husk wrappers. They give tortillas with every meal but I did not care for their homemade tortillas. They were very chewy and gummy. I also sat at a booth that appeared to be "clean" but the table was very sticky all over and the booth seat on the other side had refried beans or something smeared across the back and a piece of napkin stuck on it. This made me look closer at things and it appears the whole place needs a deep cleaning. Their building also has very high ceilings and there was a large family with lots of small kids and their little voices were just echoing so loud throughout the entire restaurant. Family noises and restaurant noises never really bother me. Noise can even add to the experience sometimes if you go to a very popular, crowded little place. But this was different altogether and very unpleasant. I was expecting a good experience because this place has 4.3 stars on google. I was very disappointed. Some good news, the bathroom had just been cleaned and mopped when I used it.
I asked in the drive thru is ur sweet tea sweet she said very i get my tea and its not an ounce of sugar its straight unsweet black tea i have been betrayed
Go to one of the other ones. This one has no flavor, no taste. Crispy tacos are soggy due to excessive water with the chicken and grease with the taco meat. Rice is bland, tasteless. They just throw it on a plate. Food slop.
What a terrible experience. This is usually a must-stop when we are back in town. The restaurant was filthy, numerous tables needed bussing and the food was not good at all.
Number one walk in the door a girl on her phone looks right at me doesn’t say hello, Just stood there. I had to ask her if she was gonna take my order or keep playing on her phone. Then another lady came over and finally took my order. Again, you raised your prices as well and again you shrunk the portion of the food I’m paying for.
