Food was spot on. My 19 yo daughter even texted me remarking how good the food was. But..... And this is a big butt and I do not lie, they (and I, but that's not who this is about 😬) forgot all (3) the drinks that were all up charges, also didn't include any sour cream, guacamole or extra meat, which were also up charges.

I like this place better than taco bell. I keep asking for fresh avocado on my steak burrito and they either sometimes give me avocado, or avocado sauce. I want fresh avocado slices. Delicious burrito. Even more delicious if it had the avocado I ask and pay extra for... 🫤

Can't really review inside, I have only used the drive through. Fish tacos are yummy. Small individual sizes of sides are too small, but the food is good. Them Jamaican margaritas..yum.

The customer service was great!! The food was rather tasty and there was a variety of drinks, from sodas to agua de horchata and Jamaica. We had the parrillada, which had beef fajita and Carne al pastor, fideo soups, guacamole, and plenty of salsa.The restaurant and the bathrooms were clean and the employees attentive and cordial. Although I wish they would bring back their salad bar and big potatoes like the other taco palenques, my family and I were quite happy with our purchase. We will definitely be back!!

Food is great, I love this place. However lately the service has began to decline. It’s mainly forgotten items. Also if you order a side of guacamole, you get about a spoonful, be aware of this when ordering

I love their food, but I think they need to establish when certain drinks are not available because not everybody likes all drinks and my experience was that I had to go get a refund cause I didn't like any other drinks only one, but they were out and the cashier just made a face When I asked for a refund . Which I feel that that shouldn't happen because it's my money that I'm spending

They have a salad bar in Taco Palenque to get salsas, pico, etc. when I got my food everything was almost empty (no guacamole, salsas, lime, cabbage,etc) When I asked the workers in the front if they could give me some limes, they were hanging me the limes while I told them the situation. He removed the limes and plate from my hand and went to tell the worker something about the salad bar situation. I think thats not professional in my perspective, they should address the situation in private.

2X Dine-in: The beef fajita meat was N🚫T fresh for JP's Quesadilla or my Nacho's; and they gave me six pieces of fat on my Fajita Nachos. But, the Tres Leche is good. 🚩Bathroom was disgusting! Blood left on toilet on the seat! We had to move, because the floor had a pool of water. 🤔I hope the Salsa Bar was bagged for the employee's to take home tonight, and N🚫T for service tomorrow. So disappointing.🤢🤢🤢 💣JP says, "Inconsistency MAKES businesses subject to the pandemic." The floors need a lot of work! 👉Update: I went back to Taco Palenque for more of their delicious cheesy goodness Beef Fajitas Quesadilla, and chose to Dine-in. The Super with Fajitas was better this time. I DID N⚪️T FINISH! So, it's dinner for JP. I'll add some black beans for him... Plus, I met the Owner Gus (short for Gustavo), and expressed to him our wonderful experience last night. He gladly had the kitchen give me two fresh street tacos, to my GREAT SURPRISE! They were the freshest, moist, and delicious. Also Gus said, "It's been his experience as a "foodie" that the best way to enjoy food is fresh and in person. Because you get to enjoy the ambiance, and speak to your customers. " Our sentiments exactly. Covid-19 has scared some people away from dinning in. But our faith iN God, accompany with prayer and thanksgiving for our food, gives us VICTORY iN Christ Jesus. Gustavo thanked me and welcomed us back. It was a pleasure meeting him. A beef fajita quesadilla, and 4 street tacos, and it came with "dynamite" charro beans. Everything was well seasoned. The only reason I give them 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, is because the sirloin for the street tacos was a little dry, but the portion size was very satisfying. We didn't finish. Excellent charro beans, and beef fajita quesadilla!👍👍Ooh wee cheesy too. Thank you.

I come here for breakfast all the time and it is amazing, don't get me wrong. Migas are great, Huevos Rancheros also great. First time I came for lunch and ordered the most bland fish tacos I've ever had. Today I came in and ordered Chicharron Burrito, and it completely fell apart upon opening take out order. Burrito was not wrapped properly. Very disappointed. The Service is great, The atmosphere is great, but for some reason their lunch foods always give me buyer's remorse. Attached is an image to show how much of my burrito fell right out of the tortilla after the very first bite.

Food was okay. Some of the items were served cold. Chips were stale and order was delivered incorrect. Felt awkward because you’re not greeted when you walk in. Restaurant was a little dirty. Overall I most likely won’t be back.

Customer service needs improvement. When entering the restaurant, staff were busy talking to each other and did not acknowledge customers right away. We had to wait several minutes before being helped. A simple greeting would make a big difference.

Placed an app order at 1:15 PM for a 4:30 PM pickup. Arrived early. Store stated the order had not been received. Returned as instructed and was told the order had not been started and to park and wait. Waited over 20 minutes past the scheduled pickup time, plus additional time after speaking with a manager. Explanation given was high DoorDash and Uber Eats volume. App-based scheduled pickup was not honored. Poor coordination and inefficient service, including from management, with no solution or resolution offered.

Opinion

Stopped on my travel to work. Wanted to try it. It was the most unwelcoming place I have ever been to. They were so unfriendly and the food was not good at all. Beans tasted bad, fajitas were super dry and hard. The tortillas were old and rubbery. You could not bite into them. Left food. Never go there again.

The prices are getting ridiculous higher and the amount of meat is almost nothing. I just pay 15.00 plus tip like 18 plus dollars for 2 tacos of beans with cheese and little bit of fajita ( according to the mgr. 1oz. Per taco.) and the quality is not what it used to be. I just check prices on the longhorn stake house and there is a plate of 18.00 of 6 ounces of ribeye steak, one side and a salad. No more taco Palenque for me

Monica manager is very rude when a cashier rung me up incorrect I had to dig through the trash to get a receipt in front of customers. I come here every weekend with my family and spend $60-70 so disgusting that I had to do that. general manager owner of this place please review your cameras between then 9:40-10pm 7/26 to see me look for a receipt in your dinner trash for a lousy five dollar refund. And the cashier that previously rung me up had mentioned he come back with the refund and had forgot. I thought I could count on his word. So if you’re eating here hold on to your receipt or look through the trash. Sorry sorry service here from the manger Monica. And the attitude she had was look through the trash if that’s what you have to do to get your refund. Rude as hell. I also asked for her boss name and number and was told that was information that could not be given to me. Santiago informed Monica that yes he forgot to give me my refund and what I was tell her was true! I told him because of all this she had me looking through the trash. Never again will me and my family drive from Austin to eat at this sorry place. To include she was so adamant for a receipt. In the end I didn’t need my receipt to get my refund. Santiago search my order in the system. Her being the manager she should have been able to do the same. However referred me to the trash-can to get it out! What a sorry sorry Manager your are Monica!! What I should be asking for is a whole refund of 61$ my family spent being treated like this. I told her me and my family come here every weekend “she said I know”.. Then why am I getting treated like shit here!
