Great food, fast service, and friendly staff. Ordered a vegetarian burrito lunch special and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Highly recommend if you're passing the area and want to check out a mom&pop authentic Mexican diner. They also have a section for burger, tenders, and fries.

Not much is in the sleepy town of Yreka, however if in the area, this Mexican restaurant is a treat! Service was kind and prompt, family-oriented, and the plates were well-priced. My partner and I were able to split the Rodriguez Platter which was absolutely exceptional. Staff supplied us with free powdered sugar-cinnamon crisps topped with whipped cream. I’d return.

This is one of my favorite parts of Yreka! The service is always on point and the food is spectacular. From someone who has lived on the border I can tell you this Mexican food is phenomenal and I highly recommend it! The choices are wonderful and the staff and service is always great 10 stars!

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had, easily. The seafood soup was incredible! Dipping my spoon into the huge bowl felt like throwing a fishing line into the sea to see what I might bring to the surface. Brilliant and absolutely delicious.

My dinner was great. I had the shrimp 🍤 enchiladas and it was served on a huge platter with rice and beans.. Free chips and salsa, and sometimes bean dip..

Chips and salsa, excellent, the chips are the restaurant style that is light and crispy. You get beans and salsa, which I always love it when you can dip your chips in some salsa. I also liked the horchata, nice and creamy, could have used more cinnamon. I ordered the carnitas plate and the portions were HUGE, perfect for me. Service was great too. The food came out fast. I think this is definitely a spot worth coming to!

Pretty darn good, the menu is extensive, should be able to find something for everyone. Stopped here on the way home from Portland for dinner, already knew I wanted carne asada, wife got the chili verde. Should come with a warning label, the plates were enormous, almost comical. I forgot to mention that the service was outstanding. Such nice people.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Mexican food is my absolute favourite, and I was excited to try an authentic family owned restaurant. This food was absolutely terrible, a cold burrito from 7/11 has 100x the flavour and texture that was in the food that we ordered. We ordered a Beef burrito, which was just some beef and cheese thrown loosely in a burrito with more cheese on top. Not a burrito at all. Absolutely no flavour, no texture, horribly greasy and wet. The quesadilla ordered was supposed to be chicken, chorizo and cheese with some veg. All there was in the quesadilla was plain unseasoned chicken with cheese. No chorizo and tomato's and olives just thrown loosely on top. Also no flavour and a greasy horrible mess. Genuinely cardboard has more flavour. No salt or seasoning of any kind on anything. We ordered for takeout and was told it would take 5 minutes from the time of ordering. It actually took probably less than 2 minutes, and you can see from the lack of time and care that it's all be slapped together and microwaved in a rush. The atmosphere and people seemed nice but I've genuinely never been this disappointed with food. I have never posted a review on anything before but this was EXCEPTIONALLY bad, especially for $35. Stay away!!
