The place is spectacular! Located in an old sawmill where the river runs right by the restaurant. The dining room, with its large windows overlooking the river, is made of wood and preserves the tools that were once used. Eating while listening to the river flow by your side is very pleasant. The food is delicious, as is the service, very friendly. After finishing our meal, we had coffee on the terrace. It's well worth it to eat in the middle of the countryside in such a beautiful and well-kept place.

The truth is that it's one of the few places I'd give a resounding 5 stars, for its setting, cozy atmosphere and location, professionalism of the waiters, and quality of the food. The meats are 10/10 for flavor, tenderness, and perfection. The starters: octopus, croquettes, and eel were delicious, the only complaint about the eel was that I found it a little lacking, but it was really well-cooked. Among the desserts, the cream-filled cannoli are particularly noteworthy. To finish, enjoy a pota coffee or espresso on the terrace, a walk in nature, or a nice nap by the river if time permits.

Great food typical Galicia food. Pulpo, empanada de zamburinas(baby scallops) chicken free range. Great place with views to the river, the place was a lovely water mill.

Beautiful place in the midle of the forest, historic building and very good food.

Este restaurante se encuentra en un sitio precioso en mas afueras de Lugo. Muy fácil de llegar y escasos minutos de la conexión con la A6 en Nadela. La comida fue un poco decepcionante en su mayoría. Todos los entrantes y postres cumplen con un suficiente en calidad y sabor. Las croquetas no son caseras y son del montón, los postres muy muy reguleros o alguno ya tirando a malo. Pero la carne muy buena. Es por lo que merece la pena ir, por sus carnes y la localización. Pedimos un chuletón de ternera para compartir, y aunque le faltaba un pelin de cámara ya que es las zonas exteriores estaba un poco duro, el sabor y calidad era excepcional. La atención del personal también muy buena. Rápidos, atentos y agradables. Si mejoran en el resto de la carta, y ponen menos entrantes y postres pero de mas calidad y caseros de verdad seria un sitio espectacular.

The place is very nice. The meal service starts at 1:45 p.m., as the waiter told us. However, when we arrived at 1:00 p.m., the sign said "open." We were supposed to eat. However, when we entered, we found the staff already eating, so we decided to reserve a table and take a walk around the area. I think the staff could improve their organization, as five tables arrived right after opening, and some were already eating when some of us didn't even have a drink. Two waiters, among them, perhaps need a little more communication. I have to say that they always treated us with kindness and respect. The food was all delicious: octopus with shrimp, potatoes with egg and chorizo, scallops, and especially the beef tenderloin, which was cooked perfectly just as we ordered. The place is beautiful for enjoying a good meal with views surrounded by nature. I would recommend making a reservation, as the rest of the tables were all reserved. You arrive at the parking lot and then you have to go down a cobbled path that takes less than 1 minute to reach the bar.

A restaurant in a unique setting. Excellent service. Delicious produce, well-cooked/prepared. Highly recommended and worth repeating. I went twice in August 2025, and I liked it even more the second time.

The location is beautiful, right next to a river, with tables overlooking it, all made of stone. There's a short walk uphill to get there. Perhaps we didn't choose our dishes well, but the entrecote was tough and overly strong for my taste, and the fish was very greasy. We'll come back another time.

A place that usually requires a reservation. A wonderful spot, as many others have mentioned. It's surrounded by lush vegetation and a river. There's a relatively large parking area. As for the food... The scallops are highly recommended, but the rest of the menu is decent, though nothing extraordinary. The suckling lamb is oven-roasted, but we weren't impressed. They really get their money's worth out of the bread; for €1.30 you get just a small slice, and they serve it to you without you even asking. I recommend visiting this place once for the tranquility and the views, but there's not much else to say.

The place is outstanding, really cozy and with a lot of old stuff. However, the food isn't that great, specially considering the price. It's just bland. For instance, the "croquetas" didn't taste like they were homemade but we payed like if they were, the sauce of the pork tenderloin tasted like a cheap supermarket ready to serve sauce. All in all, great place but disappointing food.

Terrible service. We went in for a coffee, and since they had a big party of guests, they did not want to serve us, and when they did they were totally rude. It looks like if you don’t spend the money for lunch , you are both worthy to them. I do not recommend it
