Have to give credit when it's due. Ordered two pan pizzas tonight and both had a lot of toppings. That and if the ingredients such as tomato are not allowed to drip a bit, can make the pizza wet and crust very doughy. Tonight's pizzas were perfect and arrived within the 23 to 33 minutes delivery window. Has not always been this good, but maybe it's a sign that the management/owner are listening to the comments here and making positive changes. I have years of pizza restaurant experience so know when it's done right.

Thank you Mr Gwedyon Davis the manager in Lumberton. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. He knows he's products and is never to busy to help a customer. Clean and fast environment. Mr Davis puts the customer first but also knows about the company. I want to tell the company Bravo for hiring Mr Gwedyon Davis he is going to go far no doubt. Great job Lumberton team. Derric at this Papa John's is a lifesaver! I was having issues with the app; ordered my pizza wrong. He went ahead and remade the order for me. Super awesome guy! Very professional and everyone was really nice. My wife and I order carry out all the time from this location and we will definitely be coming back!!! Thank you!!

I love this place for pizza. The workers work really hard to keep clean. I haven't had delivery. Door dash contracts or whomever. Door dash sucks 💯 around here. If you do a pickup it's best. I love to see cleaner places with good work ethic. Especially food establishments. I refuse to eat most places because they are so nasty. Thus far I haven't had a bad experience.

Love the new Papa Bowls! Who needs crust?! 😂 Ordering on the website, however 🤬 kept telling me my credit card info was invalid - REALLY? Funny how the human being I talked to on the phone didn't have any trouble with it!

The food was good, but the delivery driver is ridiculous. He was tipped 15% to drive 2 miles to my house from this location. He had the audacity to complain about the tip to my front door camera. Won't order delivery from here again.

Tried to change my order it was too late called within 4 minutes after ordering couldn’t change the order and so I was wanting to add a dessert and that was 6.99 for the item and it was going to change my order from $40 something to $70 and the person who answered the phone was really rude when I told her that is ridiculous and she could cancel them damn things off, said there was no reason to cuss and I said well really that’s a hell of a increase for a 6.99 dessert , what she doesn’t realize I’m elderly living on ssff ssdi and I don’t order often because of the inflation and she should of been a little nicer about it,sorry but I like to be able to treat my grandson once in a while and your attitude was uncalled for and as a us citizen I do have the right to express myself that was a $30 difference for a 6.99 dessert ! It definitely made me want to cancel my whole order and I would have but I’m sick and didn’t want to have to call somebody else !!

First off I was told with my papadia it did not come with pizza sauce when I know it does and even the site says it does it was horribly made and looks raw then it looks like my pizza was made with an old dried out pizza skin that had been sitting for some time and horribly portioned ... ..

Tonight we ordered pizza it was delivered almost an hour after ordering. Ok great no problem it's a Saturday night and we order often. However, we were delivered another person's 3 pizzas and after calling the manager stated my pizza was still there and that their driver would be coming to drop off and not to eat the mistaken pizza because they would be picking up. Never have I heard something like this but we waited for ours to be delivered. After one hour 15 minutes I called the manager again and they stated they were unsure why the driver had not dropped off our pizza and he would check with his driver and he hung up while I was still talking. I called back and asked him once again and he said he was swamped and did not have time to call his driver. Fast forward door dash calls me and tells me that they have received the pizza but it was in a bag on papa johns counter and cold and after they told the manager he said the customer would have to call and complain about being cold. I called the manager back after this and he said he could not refund or void order I would have to call back tomorrow no sympathy anything. My 2 yr old had been waiting to eat for 2 and a half hours. And they sent us out pizza that had been sitting there for 2 and a half hours. Will never order again.

I have tried to place an order online multiple times (to use my papa dough I have accumulated). Each time i get to the end of placing my order, where an error message appears saying "Review and update my billing address to continue." However, there is no way to review the billing address on the app or online. So I am unable to use my earned rewards, nor am I able to order my food without jumping through a hundred hoops. This company does not care about the customers who experience this issue and have not tried to fix the issue (I have reported the online issue multiple times). I will not be ordering from this company again. This post is not directed at the Lumberton store, as these employees have been willing to help with an order, and the online ordering is not their fault.

An hour and ten minutes later, we went to the store, only to find the rudest manager out there. She was very unprofessional in her language as well as her duty as an employee in a management position. Needless to say, we were told that our buisiness is unwelcome at that location. I am totally not a papa John's fan. Sorry. First and last pizza I got delivered was VERY soggy. So gross I tossed it after calling the store Manager. No replacement offered. Corporate said talk to the local store. Waste of money and time. Lots of good pizza places in the area to choose from.

If negative stars were possible, I'd give it. Hubby and sis in-law got sick after eating the supreme pizza. I called the manager and he said I couldn't "prove" it was the pizza before I even got the story out of my mouth. I told him he should listen before cutting me off and he hung up on my. I called back and he hung up on me again.
