We have been here twice. It has been clean both times. Service is a bit slow, but not too bad. Food is served fresh and we would return again should we be passing thru Beaumont and craving some good Vietnamese.

Sweet Basil Vietnamese Noodle House serves more than just noodles. We went there for dinner and the items we ordered were of great quality. The fire roasted pepper sauce for the wings was truly unique and amazing. The dumplings were fresh and flavorful. My girlfriend said that the koko short ribs was one of the best she has ever tried. Just cooked to perfection. The claypot shrimp was another unique dish and quite delicious. The fresh beignet balls was the perfect way to finish up our dinner. The service here was excellent. Our server was attentive, diligent, and caring. He was extraordinary. The ambiance is nice with high ceilings and cool artwork. Would definitely recommend.

I took my 4 kids here after we did a bit of shopping. We all loved everything. It is a bit pricey, but it is so worth it. Their presentation is beautiful. The service was great. The waiter didn't even write anything down. (He used his notepad in his brain) I am going to take my hubby to try soon. I won't be bringing my kids back. [Not because of anything the restaurant did. They are too young to truly appreciate the high-end food here is all]

Miss Anna was by far the best waitress I've met in Beaumont. Fast and attentive. Food was prepared within 30 minutes of sitting down. Taste was out of this world good. The light char on the shrimp, lip smaking. It's hard for me to give a 5 star. But they truly deserve it. The bathrooms are clean, smell amazing, in house was clean. As soon as a table left, they wiped, cleaned, and sanitized. Everything there was as a restaurant should be. Worth every dollar. Go and check this place out, and if miss Anna is there, ask for her.

The food was amazing! This was my first time to try Vietnamese cuisine and I loved it. I don't even have any words to describe the bread in one of the dishes. It felt kind of like a sponge, but it was like eating air. The meat was delicious! I will definitely be back!

I cannot believe I only now discovered this place! As others have said, Sweet Basil defies the ordinary food offerings in Beaumont. The hot mess fries were crazy good as are their Bahn Mi sandwiches. The noodle bowls need just a bit more flavor, but all their meat is delicious. Enjoy this breath of fresh air in the Beaumont food scene.

Went on a Tuesday for lunch & was sat immediately. Overall a great experience. Location: in a strip with other businesses. Shared lot with some businesses claiming a few of the front parking areas. Plenty of parking spaces though but watch for vehicles driving through the parking lot. Atmosphere: well lit, clean and inviting. Not loud and spaced well from others. They sat us well with a baby in a stroller- we didnt feel in the way. Food: good variety with pho, ramen, poke, rice. Noodles, bao buns, spring rolls and more. We got their fries, duck bao buns, poke bowl & seafood ramen. Everything arrived in good timing and fresh. The bao bun was good but would be great with a/more sauce. The ramen was flavorful but wish the eggs were marinated (just plain boiled egg). The fries were great- give me more! My sister liked her poke bowl. Price: a little pricey but the food was good & it seems like they care about what they are doing. Ramen was $18, bao buns $11, fries $11. For 1 person, you may pay $15+ for a meal (depends on what all you order). Service: friendly. The host was generous and our waiter was nice. No issues. Overall, a great refreshing restaurant. Would definitely recommend!

Food was delicious. The hot mess fries were a perfect blend of sweet and spicy. The sweet banh bao was a small serving but perfect for a light lunch. The pork was tender and flavorful. The restaurant is a little quiet but allows for a relaxed dining experience.

The best dish ordered was the com bo nuong/marinated rib-eye rice bowl. The meat was well seasoned, and nuoc cham/fish sauce complemented it well. Everything else was ok. The pan-fried dumplings (menu stated pan-fried but it looked completely fried) were too greasy, Koko short ribs were too sweet, and the pho was a little bland. I saw a few tables eating boiled crawfish but I didn't see it on the menu. Service was good. Kudos to y'all for a clean, spacious restaurant, including the restroom with a baby changing table. It's not often that you visit a clean Vietnamese restaurant.

Soooooooo….I know with all the things going on in the world that we maybe a little divided but to put all the black tables in the back was very disrespectful. Also the food has went up but flavor has gone down. THE RESTROOM WAS HORRIBLE!!!!! It was gross and no soap. lol it’s comical how downhill it’s gone but still wants to keep customers with price raising

I went today to introduce my family to this place because I’ve been there before plenty of times and always enjoyed their food. It was the crawfish that I wanted them to try because in my opinion they have some of the best crawfish in town. Well today was one of the worse experiences I’ve ever had let’s first start with the greeting or lack there of that was received by Allison one of the rudest and unprofessional hostess ever known. Her whole persona was just horrible. It was almost like she passed judgment before she even interacted with me. Then there was Miguel who came to the table and immediately started telling me how not expect orders to be made over the phone because this isn’t normally done. I was confused by the entire interaction because I wasn’t the one who even suggested that to happen I just called to make a reservation. That was suggested by Daniel a server who was very respectful and professional to him I thank you. What made the entire experience horrible was when I happen to look up and notice both Miguel and Allison starring at me with an attitude that didn’t move me. It wasn’t until Allison proceeds to roll her eyes as if I did something to offend her. When I asked what the issue was she immediately tried to speak over me with attitude telling me that a manager is never on duty they come and go whenever. So if there really is a woman by the name of Be working as the manager. I’m going to ask you personally to please retrain your servers to understand their job duties and what CUSTOMER SERVICE actually means. Needless to say I took my party of seven to better place where they value their customers and the $100 plus tip that I left was well spent.

Honestly pho four seasons is on a whole other level as this place. The broth was more on the salty side for my liking and people who got there after us got served before us. On a brighter note the person who cleans the table afterward chased me down because I forgot my purse. He was awesome.

$23.45 + tax for these two photos. I had to call and make sure we got everything we were supposed to because of how small the portions were. The explanation I got was “those are very high quality shrimp”. This honestly blows my mind to the point I find it funny. 😆 I usually don’t leave reviews like this but just had to with this one. Yes, I know inflation has hit everything, but I haven't seen shrink-flation until this. We’ll just stick to Crystal Pho / BMT from now on, they seem to be less affected by whatever is going on here.

I love Sweet Basil. Great food! But i was disaapointed to see a $5.00 increase for the Veggies & Noodles dish. Last month, I paid $10.95 or $13.95 with chicken. There was always enough food for 2 meals. Yesterday, that same dish was $18.95 (chicken included) and half the serving size! I also ordered an appetizer and egg rolls for a total of $42! Again, i usually paid $20+ for those same 3 items. That is a $20 increase in one month. Unreasonable! I know times are difficult and small business are still struggling, but i can not afford to pay $42 for one person. I hate it, but i cannot eat at this establishment at these steep prices. Possibly, try saving money by cutting down on wait staff as servers were standing around doing nothing. Usually, the place is not full so i would look into better management. Then, you might be able to lower prices and get more customers.
