Mariscos El Perihuete lies nestled on the corner of a busy lot in a calm neighborhood within the city. Luckily, this location has plenty of parking and plenty of seats within to boot. A friendly staff member took care of our group, sitting us at a big corner booth with the shades pulled down to block the rays of the setting sun. Tried their: Taliban- A complimentary cup of shrimp consommé with flavors imported straight from Sinaloa. Superbly seasoned, and garnished with shrimp and other little morsels within, including diced red onion. Squeeze a tiny bit of the lime juice into it for a beautiful flavor that makes you smack your lips and take as much time as possible to take in its aromas and flavor profiles. Was so good, I ended up ordering a medium container of it to go. Taco A La Uyu Yui- A shrimp soft taco with filling that had been tossed in a very spicy sauce, then topped with cabbage, sliced onions, and a dab of creamy aioli. This taco will definitely make you wipe the sweat off your brow with the spicy mixture the shrimp is tossed in before serving. It’s well worth it, the shrimp was cooked nice and the spices were pristinely balanced. Tostada Mixta- Precooked shrimp, tender octopus, imitation crab, and imitation abalone with cucumber, tomatoes in a properly seasoned citrus marinade. One of the biggest tostadas I’ve ever eaten. There was so much ceviche on this tostada that I could have made at least two more portions out of it. While big in its portions and full of flavor, I definitely could have done without the imitation seafood. Real and natural is ALWAYS better, in any situation. Obviously, you can never go wrong with having a Michelada with your ceviches as an accompaniment. That being said, if you’re a bit adventurous with what you eat, I recommend trying the stingray tacos. They were one of my favorites along with the Ceviche Mixta Tostada. I will definitely have to come back to try the other dishes on their menu that they set aside for the weekends, which include the Campechana, scallops, and bloody clams. Either way, I know where to eat whenever I’m in the area now.

This restaurant is a staple of Mexican seafood. I love the ceviche campechano, which is not the same as a campechana! The tacos are very famous among the regular patrons. I also love their shrimp ceviche!

I'm surprised there is sim any bad reviews. Me and my dad Leo love going there. we go at least 3 times a week. Their shrimp tostada is so good as well as their fish tostada. my FAVORITE thing is the little cup of shrimp broth they bring you as an appetizer it's AMAZING ME ENCANTA. Their caldos calientes de mariscos are yummy as well! Gracias a Rosie best waitress!

Whoever the cook is they better keep him happy because he knows what he's doing. Keep it the good work and please don't change the flavoring.
I used to be here all the time a long time ago. I am now back in los angeles, and of course, I had to get in here. I tried a new plate, and I now have a new favorite. The service was on point. See you guys more often.

i love the Talibanes best hot sea food soup, its hot spicy juice with shrimp and onions squeeze a lemon and BAM!! i have it at least once every 2 weeks. Im addicted to them. i love spicy soup. try it

They provide a free cup of Shrimp Broth and 1 single shrimp inside of the cup. I ordered the Jiva immigration crab and a Bowl of Beef Birria. At this place you will need to season prepare your cocktails and Birria. I had been here before and the last time it seemed to have more flavor. Service was great left a $20 for our server/ waitress.
Other than the size of the place I very much enjoyed their food. And I'm satisfied with the micheladas they serve. They're not watered down like most places. Great variety of food and drinks on the menu as well

We did Not like the zarandeado we order some oysters and they were good but beer was warm however we’re not going back again

Food was not good. My breaded shrimp were burnt and tasted horrible, first and last time I eat here. Also I spent almost $20 on my meal definitely not worth it .
Worst Ceviche and shrimp Ordered a tostada de Mariscos that thing looked like straight up throw up, I told them to take it back & they had the audacity to still charge me. Will never come back and do not recommend it to anyone.
No longer a good food place, they used to have the best shrimp tacos but now every time they burn the tortilla, also the taco is not as good as it used to be, the rest of the food is really bad except the camarones ala diabla, they are ok.

I just bought a mixed toast to take away and just when I got home and was eating it it smelled really horrible, the food is spoiled especially if it's from the sea, it's too bad that they serve spoiled food especially in hot weather.
I came here with my children. Not even my six years old daughter liked it. I ordered a shrimp cocktail and the cup seemed they didn't washed it. I felt uncomfortable eating. The fries for kids are not good.
