This place has the best Vietnamese and thai food in madera! They have real good food and the bobas are the best I've tasted around these spots, the service is great and fast I wish the meat in the vermicelli salad was more finely chopped and wish they offered lemongrass chicken for the noodle bowl.other than that it was amazing

It was my first time trying pepper steak, and it definitely wasn't a disappointment! Selling Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine, there are plenty of options to choose from for your next meal...along with some boba teas (for the younger crowd).

Pretty decent for being the only Pho place in town. It's expensive but place is comparable if you were in Clovis. I enjoyed the pho and spring roll. Super Yummy. Time wait wasn't too long. The service I got here was pleasant and quick. Will try other food next time.

Pho review time. Total cost 24$ pho, tea and a tip. Came in and this place wants you to order when you come in. I ordered the 12 steak and tendon with extra tendon. They even put the extra tendon in a bowl on the side which I added in so the hot soup heats it up. Its a one size bowl. I also got a matcha latte. The pho broth id say is more of a Lao style. Its flavorful with beef and spice notes. The noodles are fresh. I liked the amount of basil, bean sprouts, jalepenos, and lemon. The chile oil is tasty its about a 6 as a Mexican spice scale. Overall id rate this pho a 4/5. It was good but not my favorite. My matcha latte is delicious I requested less sweet and its still pretty sweet. Just a heads up. Still the latte gets a 5/5. They have a good variety of drinks with Boba too if you're into that. I was able to get my table right away. I ordered used the bathroom. Came out and my soup was ready. The waitresses were coo. It started to get busy they didn't check in on me but I ate very fast. Overall food 4.5/5. Parking is limited but I parked on the side of the building on the street. Waitresses did enough I have no complaints they were nice. I'd be down to try some more options here.

On my third visit, I decided to try the #53 that I saw a picture of on the wall. The spicy beef plate is amazing. Marinated beef, bell peppers, onions, and pepper with rice and an egg roll. You have the option to choose: steamed rice, fried rice, or chow mein. The white rice pairs well, as I can mix it in with the sauce from the main entree. While the restaurant is known for its Pho & Boba drinks, they have a nice sized menu. There are many food items to choose from, and aren’t limited to Vietnamese cuisine. The restaurant is clean, and the service is always great. Please call them, and don’t always go by the internet in regards to hours of operation. I spoke to the owner, and let him know that certain internet listings show his restaurant as being closed, when it’s actually open. Due to Covid19 restrictions, all orders are for take-out only at this time.

We rolled in off the freeway at night with screaming kids and had no idea there was anything like this in Madera, as we're not from the area. Ordered, the woman was friendly and funny at the counter, sat down and out came HUGE bowls of perfectly made pho, eggrolls, fried rice, more egg rolls (!), and sauces. The kids, who are very picky eaters, loved it. We made the right choice to trust in this restaurant. Service was very attentive and fast, food came out promptly, and everything was absolutely delicious. We made a large and complicated order and they aced it to boot. Highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant.

It a great place food is good big portions as well. Affordable prices large menu. Take out is a great option. This is not your high class restaurant. It’s a well established older building. Easily located off the 99. It’s a clean establishment. It’s showing some age. We come here often.

Inside looks like a fast food place, but our waitress brought us menus and our food and drinks. A very pleasant experience. A great little Pho place, captive audience in Madera. The closest that is even passable is all the way into Fresno, so this place does well. The quality is decent, and the prices are great.

DISCLAIMER - I've eaten in most major cities with many different options for food. For a small city, the food here is good for what it's worth. But here is my honest review: I am always on a mission to see who has the best Pad Thai. Unfortunately, this pad thai was dankier than what I'm used to. Pad Thai should have a good mix of sweet, sour, and savory - this just wasn't hitting all those notes. It was missing the sourness from Tamarind. The calamari was different. It was crispy, but tossed in a light sauce. If you don't eat it right away, it starts to get soggy. The squid skin wasn't taken off, so it was extra chewy - not a big fan. Grilled Pork Bahn-mi was sub-par. It was pretty dry, the meat were just bits and parts that consisted of what seemed like end meats - fatty & tough. Meat was a touch over cooked which made the sandwich even drier.

Rad place inside, you got to see it. Fast friendly service. Excellent spring rolls and peanut sauce was on point. Pretty good panang curry but I am a bit picky with panang. Amazing chow mein, picky here too but it was excellent. Great flavors and not too greasy.

I got the beef pho, the broth was good! I was surprised to find pho that good in Madera lol. Only thing was they never brought us our water. And the sprouts for our pho tasted a Lil unwashed 😅 still I'd go again next time I'm craving pho in Madera.

food was pretty good, don't get the milk tea boba unless your stomach can handle it, my sister had diarrhea and my mom threw up, i was surprisingly fine for some reason 🤷🏻‍♀️

Very authentic food but for me, personally I do not eat seafood and I felt like everything that I ordered though it was vegetarian still had some kind of aftertaste of seafood to it

Pho beef #17 $7.99 Too little noodles for that price. Soup and meat tasted good. Owner sounds means saying out loud to his employee shaming them saying “You no good, no good” something like that because of work didn’t meet his satisfaction.

Must have switched owners because it hasn’t been the same. Girls who answer the phone are flat out rude with no customer service skills. The over all quality of the food went down, and it’s just a hassle to get a simple order right. Hit and miss with this place.

The owners and most staff are very nice and the food is great. Been there a couple times and had not been disappointed. Today I decided to take my kids and dine out. Something I don’t do often do. I was hoping to have a good time. The lady (medium build, 28-36 y/o) who took my order was very dry to begin with. I was okay maybe she is having a bad day. I was wrong when she brought our drinks and food she was flat out rude. When I asked for extra plates and forks she looked annoyed. I do hope they speak to her about improving her customer service skills.

Very disappointed, I ordered a soup and when I got home I saw that I had a cockroach in my food, it was the most disgusting thing, I was reviewing other experiences and I can't believe that health department still hasn't been able to go and check this place.

The pho broth have too much msg . Very little veggie. The bowl is small for a price of $13.

For a walk-ins, it took over 30 minutes of waiting for my take-out order and I was late to work from my lunch. People who were infront and back me of the line were already done eating by the time I got my two orders.

Worst orange chicken and fried rice. Also, the bubble teas have a lot of sugar. If you drink one of those, it’ll definitely give you diabetes.

The guess service is rude and didnt even bother to get you water but instead ignore you. Sorry cookers is good, but bad service. Need to be fire or let go.

I’ve been a customer for over 10 years now and I’ve had 2 other incidents of finding hair in my food and to be exact it was the spring rolls, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and let it go, but today I had yet another incident with hair in 2 of my kids plates as well as a whole FLY. I’m extremely disappointed and disgusted and I can no longer give them excuses. There seems to be a huge issue of sanitation and I advise everyone to avoid this place and to be careful.
