Great place. We decided to go here for lunch after seeing how busy the Buc-ees was across the highway. Wonderful food, good service, and the malt made with real Blue Bell was incredible. Definitely worth stopping at. We had never heard of one before and we were impressed. The onion rings were amazing.

Texas Burger is a special place. Large and good burgers, good fries and refill it yourself drinks as expected. What really sets TB apart is the Bluebell ice cream. The kids love the flavors especially the blue colored flavors. The large waffle cones are huge. The steak fingers are better than DQ.

Service is a standard fast-food like Whataburger - they bring out your food after you take a number... not too impressive. We always make this a must stop. We live in Houston and its halfway mark to my parents ranch and my wife and kids know this a must each and every time we make the drive. The burgers are the best. We love Whataburger but this is an authentic hamburger like no other and even better with the blue bell ice cream after our meals.

Stopped here in Madisonville and decided to try it for the first time. I was extremely surprised, the burgers were fresh and well made! I asked for extra pickle and the jalapenos were loaded on there! Nice big juicy Patty that extended outside of the bun unlike your normal fast food places that normally give you a small little Patty that don't fit the bun. The onion rings were fresh and crispy. All in all I had a great experience definitely will hit this up again next time I'm in town

This is a really good burger for fast food! Usually I stop at the McDonald’s next door while driving through but decided to give this place a try. It will be my go-to stop moving forward. It is a QSR (quick service restaurant) but very clean, the service is great, and the food is really good. Also, get the fries seasoned.

I am not from Texas, but this place gives the image of the Texas economy years ago: agriculture, cattle, oil, and Texas cowboys. The burgers are real beef which also adds to the image of Texas. You certainly do not have to ask, "Where's the beef!" To me the dinner has a cozy Western look and feel. They even serve ice cream! Yum!! In Madisonville, TX right off I-45 across from the Shell station and down the street from McDonalds. Why settle for just any burger when you can have a Texas Burger!!

Found this place coming from Dallas back home to Houston on I45 heading south. The burgers are really tasty and juicy. Highly recommended for an stop on the ride. Service is not fast but I understand since they made things at the moment.

The second time here and it did not disappoint. The burgers are really good specially with crispy bacon. We decided to dine in this time and were greeted with friendly service. Good burgers and delicious seasoned fries beat all the food at Buccees any day. Plus the restrooms were really clean.

Awesome burgers made with Nolan Ryan beef. Was told about TX Burger by a friend who stops here to eat on the way to Houston. The place was empty at a 7pm Wednesday night, however the drive through was busy. The burger was great and I highly recommend. The patties was a little thinner than normal, but still great we ordered a double with two slices of cheese which was fantastic . The meat is a course grind (more like chili meat) instead of a finer grind like everywhere else.

This place actually serves a good burger! It is kind of a hole in the wall right off of the highway, but trust the billboards! The seasoned fries were good and I did a jalapeño burger with bacon, cheese, mayo and mustard with all of the veggies, and it blew the socks off of typical fast food!

We stopped here on our way to Galveston. It was quick and delicious! Only 2 of us ordered to go, but by the time we got to the car, we had eaten half of the fries. haha! We then went through the drive thru to order more food for the other 2 people in the car. Totally worth it! We had the grilled cheese burger, GET THIS! and the seasoned fries are on point. Just a little burger place, but i was pleasantly surprised at my burger. Wish I'd taken a picture but i was coming home from a conference in denver CO, on my motorcycle and wasn't thinking about reviews. But that burger looked to be handcrafted all the way thru from the bun to the meat. Nice crisp fries. Nothing fancy but the price was surprisingly small for a surprisingly large, well made burger. If I'm passing thru that area around lunch I'm definitely going back.

We went through the drive through so I didn't get to see the inside. The wait for the food was a little long but worth it because everything came out fresh. They typically give gravy for the side sauce but they let me sub for BBQ which was tangy and delicious. I got the chicken strips with onion rings and my bf got the steak fingers with the season fries and next time I go I'm getting fries! I also got a burger and it was delicious. We spent $34 for the food.

I've been coming to 6his TX Burger since it opened. Everytime I take a road trip on 45 I took forward to stopping at one of the locations. The service here was amazing. The grilled cheese burger was awesome as well. It's literally a smash burger patty in a grilled cheese on buttery Texas Toast.

Have eaten at the Tx Burger for years, food is always hot and tasty. They serve blue bell ice cream which is a plus for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Hubby & I stopped for lunch during our road trip on I-45. We elected to try the TX Burger over the local McDonald's, Sonic, and Taco Bell. Something different. We weren't disappointed. Restaurant was bustling with people dining in on Sunday afternoon. However, the line to order went quickly, and the staff are very considerate. We ordered the Swiss mushroom burger and the #1 original TX Burger meal. Also, we chose seasoned fries over regular. Waited around 10 minutes and had our food. Good burger! Reminds me of homemade and actually has quality ingredients, unlike the "alternatives." Clean restrooms, blue bell ice cream available, and patio seating. My husband did point out, it couldve been hotter but other than that we enjoyed! Hope this helps!

There was a burger on the menu that is not available?? The person at the register struggled to take our order. The tea and lemonade did not have good flavors. The coke was good. Everything in the restaurant was dirty. There were 3 employees just standing and talking instead of cleaning 🧹 The food was good. If you can get past the dirty I recommend the Texas burger and seasoned fries. We would try another Texas Burger but not this one.

A little closer to major fast food burger places than I was expecting I guess. An alternative to the Buc-ee’s that is across the freeway.

Customer service and quickness 100 % across the board. Food flavor -0%. I ordered the steak finger basket first and due to lack of flavor I went back and ordered the chicken tenders basket thinking it would be better but no.,,,. 😞 there is absolutely no seasoning on the meat or fries, or onion rings. My husband the spicy chicken sandwich, and nothing about the sandwich was spicy. We are heading home on a 4 hour drive and this is what we chose outside of normal fast food runs“but we both wish would have went to Taco Bell or Sonic next door.

Got our order completely wrong. What we ordered: Number two with everything add mayo and mustard. Number one only mayo ketchup and cheese no veggies What we got: Two number ones one with mayo lettuce and tomatoes and one with everything but no mayo just mustard. Disclaimer: To be fair, I didn't try an actual burger. Wasn't in the mood. In hindsight, I should have. I was intrigued by the "Steak Fingers" menu item. I asked the cashier if they are actual strips of steak deep fried. She said yes. Well, they are not. They are ground beef, formed into a stick and deep-fried. They are served with the thickest, artery clogging bland gravy you have ever seen (see picture). I ate one, and it was NOT appetizing at all. It's just deep fried hamburger. So I went back to the counter and ordered a patty melt instead. It was also uninspired. Just seems to be lacking flavor or any distinctive taste that sets it apart. Like I said, I should have tried the burger, but I won't be back to find out.

This place shows the pride of ownership like an owner who, you know, doesn't take any pride in what they own. Adequate but dry $9 burgers. Staff was throwing ice at each other behind the counter... And here's some photos of the men's restroom. The sink hasn't been cleaned, like in a while. And look really close at that door photo. My wife says the lady's was worse, which I'll take her word for. This location = hard pass.

Ordered a pumpkin spice shake and literally couldn’t taste any pumpkin spice, just a plain vanilla shake The service is absolutely horrible. The 2 young lady’s that worked when we went in had attitudes (I get as a teen you don’t wanna be at work but I think attitude adjustments need to happen, management needs to coach there team better on better service) very unwelcoming environment.

Really bad experience at this location. I really like TX burger and always stop by whenever we drive from Dallas to Houston, but this time at Madisonville location (142 exit) I got burger patties half eaten. So disappointed and disgusted. I opened the burger just to add hot sauce and was surprised to see half eaten burger patty and also they added onion and pickles which I said NO. I have to drive 30 mins back because I had already left on the way. I called them so many times on my way to let know but nobody pickup the phone so went back to show them their service and I can’t eat this type of burger. Never trust this location ever. For us we will never stop by here for sure.

All I could taste was mustard. My buns weren’t toasted and was lathered with mustard on both sides. Honestly one of the worst burger places I’ve had. The meat was dry. There was no flavor. The best thing on my plate was the seasoned French fries. The veggies in the burger were fresh but I was just so disappointed.

Twice in a row they just didn’t make our food and we waited 30+ mins and finally had to ask someone why we didn’t get our food, and then they started making it. Bathrooms are dirty, restaurant is freezing, and staff is not helpful.
