Hice la excursión Toledo - Segovia, contrate traslado con guía en español, como hubo inconvenientes en otra salida de habla inglesa la chica tuvo quehacer bilingüe. Solo guiaba u hablaba en el micro, la compañía por los lugares muy escasa tal vez nula. Se debe respetar si alguien contrata traslado con guía es para que te acompañe en todo momento. Micro excelente.

El tour que tomamos estuvo súper bien, el guía Fernando (cabello largo y rizado) muy preparado, amable y todo lo manejo super bien. Definitivamente los recomiendo, muy puntuales y el tour fue tal cual como lo indicaron. No duden en contratar sus tours con ellos

Excelente tour que realizamos con Javi (el de barba) por Toledo y Segovia. Si bien el paso por Toledo fue breve, el guía nos dio lujo de detalles sobre el lugar y su historia. En Segovia todo fue un lujo, tanto el tiempo libre que tuvimos para recorrer la ciudad, así como también la visita guiada y la entrada al Alcazar. Recomiendo 100% para tener un primer contacto con ambas ciudades

Realmente impecable todo el tour a Toledo y Segovia. José Luis y Cristian son profesionales de excelencia. Conocedores de lo que hacen, claros, puntuales, precisos, pacientes con quienes se retrasan. Estoy en el medio del tour Toledo, Segovia... la experiencia a mitad de tour es fantástica, por mi... ya se pagó de sobra... y falta la mitad... Los guías super amenos, el bus super cómodo y nuevo, todo es perfecto... recomendadisimo!!!!!

Ha sido una experiencia muy bonita y divertida. La agencia organizó un tour de un día a Toledo, Segovia y Ávila muy completo y bien planificado. Pudimos disfrutar de ciudades increíbles con el tiempo justo para conocer lo más importante. Los guías Gabi y JC fueron muy amables, cercanos y profesionales, siempre atentos a explicar los detalles y a resolver cualquier duda. Sin duda, un tour muy recomendable para conocer estos destinos en poco tiempo y pasarlo bien.

Excelente experiencia con los guías, especialmente con José/Javier (JJ). Desde el inicio, JJ fue muy atento, profesional y cercano, siempre dispuesto a explicar los detalles históricos y culturales de forma clara. Se nota que domina mucho el contenido y que le apasiona lo que hace, lo que hace que el tour sea aún más interesante. Woke up and arrived bright and early for the day tour to Toledo and Segovia from Madrid. The cities and the sites were beautiful! But be prepared to walk up and down, side to side in these streets! You gotta move if you wanna see everything in the cities. Our English speaking tour guide Khan was an excellent, knowledgeable, fun guide. My only other gripe was that down times were rushed, so if you get hungry frequently, I would recommend bringing food or snacks. We had an amazing time, learned alot, and a great experience.

Absolutely enjoyable tour to Toledo and Segovia. Had Khan, Lorena as our guide and Sobri as our driver. The meet up point was easy to find and the large group was split into 2 smaller groups with individual English speaking guide. A bit of a touch and go tour but for those who have little time to spare, this one day tour fits the bill. Will highly recommend.

The Toledo and Segovia full day tour was awesome. It was easy to find the meeting point in the morning, the bus ride was comfortable and the sites were spectacular. Our guide, Khan, spoke English well plus he was entertaining while he provided the information about each city and landmark. The only thing I would change would be to spend more time in Segovia. It was a beautiful city plus there were a lot of nice stores that we didn’t have an opportunity to visit.

I recently joined the Amigo Tours day trip to Toledo, Segovia, and Ávila, and overall, it was a worthwhile way to see multiple historic cities in one day. The walking tours in each location were informative and well-paced, with guides who clearly knew their stuff and shared some great historical context along the way. They were also very punctual in moving us about the day adhering to the itinerary. Toledo and Segovia were absolutely beautiful and easily the highlights of the trip—I only wish we had arrived in Toledo a bit later in the day, as most shops and spots were closed during our visit, which was a bit disappointing. The bus ride itself was fine, though the seats weren’t the most comfortable for a full day trip. It’s also worth noting there were no outlets to charge phones or a restroom on board, so plan accordingly. Ávila was interesting, but for me, it didn’t quite live up to the other two stops . If you're short on time and want to see more of Spain's historic charm in a single day, this tour delivers solid value, but just be prepared for some minor trade-offs in comfort and timing.

Did a trip in Spanish for Toledo and Seagovia. Tour guide was nice and did some great explaning but he did not seem to be the most knowledgeable (whem asked questions he was not too sure about things) I give a 3 star because it was not the most professional service there could be. There were no earpiece procided, so it was hard to hear sometimes. The tour is 11 hours but it was veey very rushed. You do not have access to the churches, and most things, it is basically just a walking tour. I was ok with that but I know some people may have wanted to go inside, just be aware you will do a lot of outside looking etc. The tour is so rushed you don't have time to visit shops at Toledo and Seville which is sad since you can't get to buy souvenirs. Most of these problems were due to how the company organizes the tours. The tour guide himself was always trying his best 😅 Getting a tour guide to take you to these cities is the way to go but it depends on what you are looking for. If you want a more detailed and relaxed tour look somewhere else. This is more like the speed run tour which i was ok with. It felt rushed but it was very fun. There seemed to be disorganization at every angle and not sure if the organization, travel agent, viator, or tour guides were the cause. Did the Toledo, Segovia, Avila all day tour. Signs were posted at pick up but not a distinction of English or Spanish tour so even after showing the guide the voucher, many of us had to change buses. The intensity of the fast pace of walking up steep, narrow, and uneven walkways in Toledo was not explained beforehand - it would of been nice for a warning and more frequent breaks. We were there too early to enjoy the shops, most were closed. Segovia was so rushed - there was no time to sit down and enjoy lunch or shopping. My voucher said lunch, suggesting lunch was included, but guides said no. Upgraded to Avila about a month ago using the website directions, the guide had an issue finding my booking. We were promised an hour at Avila, only had 20 minutes to explore. J.J. the first tour guide was informative and entertaining, the second tour guide Flores had little details and seemed unsure of her English skills, but was polite. Being so rushed, it made the tour less enjoyable and the guides just suggested to come back again rather than make adjustments. Just glad I made it back to Madrid safe because they kept threatening to leave us if late for pick up and the bus driver almost drove into a car - maybe instead offer a what's up group or map so people can avoid getting lost after separating from group.

Mi experiencia con Amigo Tours en New York fue pésima y totalmente injusta. Reservé un tour para usar mis Go City Passes, ya pagados y que siguen activos y sin usar. Por una situación de fuerza mayor por malestar de salud, no pude asistir. Aun así, la empresa me cobró el 100% del tour a la tarjeta y se negó a aplicar mis créditos Go City disponibles. El resultado es inaceptable: pagué dos veces por un tour que nunca tomé. No hubo servicio, no hubo reembolso, ni siquiera una solución razonable. I booked a tour intending to use my Go City Passes, which were already paid for and are still active and unused. Due to a force majeure health issue, I was unable to attend. Despite this, the company charged my credit card in full and refused to apply my available Go City credits. The outcome is unacceptable: I was charged twice for a tour I never took. No service was provided and no reasonable solution was offered. They hide behind rigid policies while ignoring force majeure circumstances and basic fairness. Very poor customer service and abusive practice. Do not book with this company. There are far better and more professional tour operators in New York.

Booked with them and rescheduled a tour. Got a confirmation of successful reschedule. Then a cancellation email. Tried reaching out MULTIPLE times via phone and email, no response. Over a week went by. Tried looking into different avenues to confirm if I was rescheduled or cancelled. Took over a week to get a reply. “Skip the Queue” is not skipping the queue! It’s a scam! We paid for “skip the queue” tickets guided Amigo tours at the Madrid royal palace last week. Upon arrival, our Amigo tour guide brought us to the back of a massive queue to wait in the line to the royal palace (ended up taking 40 minutes in the queue!). I questioned this, because we paid a lot of money to skip the queue (this was very important, because it was 40 degrees Celsius out and I have 2 children). We phoned and tried getting a refund, because we had been obviously misled and they refused to refund! They said it was “skipping the queue” because they had tickets for us. Please don’t waste your money on this blatant scam. The queue for people who didn’t buy their tickets in advance was empty and those people were in within 5 minutes. Don’t fall for this scam like we did! Please see attached photo proof of the “skip the queue “ that Amigo tours has you wait in (40 minutes) but was even longer when we left!

This tour (Segovia, Toledo)was incredibly disappointing and wasted time and money. It was more like a school picnic on a bus with another 40-50 people. While the description mentioned walking and listed inclusions, it missed the point of visiting iconic places in Toledo and Segovia. The rushed itinerary made it impossible to enjoy or appreciate anything, making the experience meaningless. The only positive aspect was the bus transportation, hence 1 star. The guide spoke poor English, barely engaged with the group, and offered no meaningful explanations. Instead of visiting famous landmarks or hearing interesting stories, we were led to random, generic, uninspiring spots. In Toledo, we didn’t get to explore properly, and the promised “free time” was just enough for food or restroom breaks—not sightseeing. In Segovia, we had only 45 minutes at the Alcázar, which wasn’t enough to appreciate. Worse, the famous aqueduct was seen from the front rather than walking and exploring it. If the walking had focused on iconic sites with photos and history, it might have been worthwhile, but it wasn’t. It’s baffling that this tour has five-star reviews. It felt poorly planned and unenjoyable. I managed to sneak away to capture some photos alone, which was unnecessary. Don’t waste your time or money—explore these cities independently for a better experience. More picturesque is Segovia.

Conclusion first: AVOID AMIGO TOURS! They provide the worst tour ever. I am a very experienced traveller that attended numerous tours across Europe. My year end trip to Toledo and Segovia today (30 Dec 2023) was the most appalling ever. There‘s nothing good I could say about this trip except for the beauty of these two ancient cities and the reliable driver - hence the 1 star. The prolonged and expensive tour was horrible from before sunrise till sunset. 1) It started with a chaos at the meeting point: no sign directing different language groups and we were at first wrongly put to a line not for the English bus. We needed to take the initiative to ask for the right bus - and many followed us afterwards. 2) We were with a VERY VERY unprofessional tour guide who speaks unclear, broken English in a very low voice. I do understand accents - English isn’t my first language either - but dear, that was really bad English. Almost every one needed to double check the details every time she announced something. I want to provide a name but I cannot as she didn’t even bother to introduce herself (or she did but I couldn’t understand). She didn’t ask every one to fasten the safe belt until 30 mins after we boarded the bus. The introduction to the itinerary was more than brief with no timings explained. We were lost about what would happen with this tour. 3) As we arrived Toledo, we realised we had no audio guide systems with this trip. We could then only gather around the tour guide lady each time to try hard to listen super closely to what she said. Again, she talked with a very low voice in broken English, without caring about wether people caught her or not. 4) The tours were another disaster. She was like sleep walking and talking all the time; we had no idea where we were going to, where we should stop, and all introduction was “this is the most important…” - that was super informative! 5) The factory visit was another disappointment as I believe most travellers with this tour would agree this “shopping trip” to the factory was very forgettable and unnecessary. I’d rather prefer they collaborated with a chocolate shop or restaurants in town. That was 1 hour of my beautiful life in 2023 I would never get back. 6) The lunch break at Segovia was a fiasco as the meeting point was unclearly delivered. Our guide told us we’d gather after lunch at the “main square”. We found numerous “plazas” in the town and could only guess the “Plaza Mayor” was the “main square”. It is really beyond me why she couldn’t say “Plaza Mayor” clearly or lift a finger to show us on Google. 7) The Alcazar experience was smoother as the tour guide didn’t join or lead us. It was all free time. 8) As we walked back to the bus. We were left waiting before we could head back to Madrid for more than 20 minutes in the bus. I was a bit upset, as that time could have been well used to explore the night of Madrid. I went off the bus to ask her “May I know when we would hit the road, and what are we waiting for?” She answered, “Some people didn’t arrive, and it’s not my problem.” TBH, I was quite annoyed as I never accused her of the delay. Was it too much to ask for an explanation? How hard was it to tell people something like “Sorry guys we are still expecting a few late tourists, and we’d go back very soon.” I explained to her it was not her problem, but it wasn’t the problem of anybody in the bus either. Our time needed to be respected. 9) All in all, the trip itself could have been trimmed - either starting later or returning earlier - by getting rid of the unpleasant shopping tour. And second, the tour guide was unclear, unprofessional and indifferent the whole time. There were no signs like “Guys let’s walk. Guys let’s stop here.” When she wanted to start walking, she started walking; when she wanted to stop, she stopped. She cared not if many in the group was in compete confusion. And she gave no useful info like where WC were located in town until you asked. Last and “the most important”: AVOID AMIGO TOURS. AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!
