Un lugar realmente acogedor, ideal para disfrutar de una buena comida en un ambiente tranquilo. La atención fue increíble desde el primer momento: se me ensució la camisa accidentalmente y no dudaron en ayudarme de inmediato, un detalle que valoro muchísimo. La comida es muy buena, con sabores bien logrados. Además, tuvieron detalles que marcan la diferencia: al llegar nos ofrecieron un consomé cortesía de la casa y al final un licor, también sin coste. Sin duda, volveré.

Great food at a great location. We had the pulpo a la gallega and it was fresh and delicious. Then the lechon asado and cordero asado with baked potatoes and tomatoes salad. The meat on both were cooked to perfection. It was a great experience and will visit again.

We loved everything about the food, from the consommé, pork rind, pimientas de padrón, to roasted peppers and our slow roasted lamb. We spent about €90 for three people, and that’s with beverages. It’s very good value for a phenomenal meal, tasty. Each time I am in Madrid I’d come. On my last visit we had pata negra which was also amazing.

Wanted to try out the suckling pig dish and found this place after a bit of searching. The food was great. Very juicy meat and crunchy on the outside. The service was OK, the waitresses could greet people much better, in my case they were a bit too serious. But no problems what so ever, and I liked the restaurant quite a lot.

We went on Tuesday night and was seated immediately since it was empty. I’m not sure how Google Maps said that it was more busy than ususl. Only 2-3 groups of people. The service was amazing with a nice selection of wine bottles. The wine bottles in Madrid are so cheap. I thought it was charged per glass too but the lady looked at us funny when we asked. The Cochinillo 5/5. I have tried my shares of roasted suckling pig and this is the Spanish version. It has soup underneath and the meat is so soft and buttery, creamy on the side. It is now my favorite meal yet since the last 4 days. French fries 3/5. they came as a side with the suckling pig. The staff said we could have potatoes or salad. I thought it would be balls of mini potatoes, not fries. Garlic mushrooms 5/5. The sautéed mushrooms in garlic is a new way to cook mushroom, uniquely rich in flavor. You have to try mushrooms dishes in Madrid. Matarromera 3/5 is a red wine that I ordered to pair with my meat. It tastes average.

This place was recommended in our hotel and was so worth it. We wanted to try the cochinillo and this place was exceptional. Good service, very quick and the cochinillo was very juicy with a crispy crust. We called about an hour in advance to make a reservation and sitting was quick upon arrival.

The restaurant is nice and comfortable, the service was very good as well. We were looking to eat at the typical Casa Botín and couldn’t find a spot available, honestly, I’m glad!!! This restaurant is amazing. The ambience is nice and warm at the same time. Un restaurante muy bonito por dentro. Auténtico y con sabor clásico, con su horno. Hemos comido fenomenal. Gran atención de las camareras y el camarero muy atento y agradable. El cochinillo muy bueno, la morcilla estupenda. No es barato pero la calidad es muy buena. No es como otros restaurantes del centro que ganaron fama y ahora dan cualquier plato de poca calidad a precio de oro a los turistas.

Restaurante tradicional con buen cordero y cochinillo para ser Madrid. Con vino durante la comida, postre a compartir y copa de sobremesa salimos a 67€.

Pasamos el día anterior para reservar la mesa ya que las opiniones decían que era un lugar muy concurrido. El día de la reserva llegamos puntuales 21:30 hs y no había tanta gente. Al ingresar nos encontramos con una heladera vidriada donde estaban las carnes crudas que ofrecen en la carta. Nos sirvieron de cortesía una panceta frita fría estilo torrezmo. Pedimos los tradicionales corderos y cochinillo asados al horno de leña. La papa natural que pedimos de guarnición estaban tibias. Carnes frescas y de primera calidad cocidas solamente con agua y sal donde pudimos apreciar el verdadero sabor de los nobles productos. No tuvimos la suerte de degustar ningúna porción del preciado cuarto trasero de ninguno de los tres platos que pedimos. Para finalizar, respetando la tradicional y antigua cocina española, en esta hermosa ciudad de Madrid existe una cocina moderna y vanguardista que renovó sabores, texturas, presentaciones y otras tantas cosas que a mí me hace sentir que no siempre lo tradicional y lo antiguo es mejor. En este 2025 cumplió o cumplirá 300 años un restaurante madrileño y en dónde cenamos hoy ya deben haber superado los 30 años de antigüedad. En esta "lucha" de sabores y tradiciones, batalla cultural mediante, la pulseada la está ganando lo nuevo. Sigamos transitando este trillado y fascinante mundo de la gastronomía sin sobre valorar las propuestas.

Ubicado a muy pocos metros del Teatro Real, este asador cuenta con terraza y varios salones construidos en piedra, madera y ladrillo, decorados con diferentes motivos: uno de ellos con escenas del Quijote, otro con representaciones goyescas y un reservado. Su carta es muy amplia, con varios entrantes, cordero lechal y cochinillo en horno de leña, carnes a la parrilla y pescados. Acudimos para comer, optando por un cuarto de cochinillo asado para dos personas y una ración de verduras a la plancha. Con un postre de tarta de la casa, una cerveza, una botella de agua y una infusión, la cuenta sumó 87,80 € para dos personas. En general, bastante bien, pero le falta para llegar a la máxima calificación. Muy buena atención, con un aperitivo de cortesía de pimientos de Padrón y unos chupitos, y en cuanto al cochinillo, no estaba mal, pero he probado varios mejores, y la tarta de la casa no vale en absoluto la pena. No obstante, lo califico bien porque en general, merece una visita.

Morcilla de Burgos muy buena. Chorizo a la parrilla excelente. El cochinillo, es un clásico, aunque faltó un poquito más crunchy la piel.

Local agradable y muy bien situado para visitar el centro de Madrid. Buen servicio y poca espera, sobre todo llegando temprano. Pedimos el cuarto de lechal para dos, una ensalada y morcilla. Habiendo tomado cuartos de lechal en otros sitios, la verdad es que este no me ha parecido reseñable. Estaba bien de asado, pero la carne no tenía sabor. Tal vez no atinamos con la selección del plato principal.

The dining experience offers a delightful array of options to please any palate. However, while waiting for our orders, we were served appetizers that we did not order, and we assumed they were complimentary. Ordered the octopus, suckling pig and grilled sea bass. The sea bass was delectable and of a reasonable price. The suckling pig was juicy and tender, melting in your mouth with a crispy top. Unfortunately the octopus did not meet expectations as we found it to be too soft and lacked chew. Nonetheless, a enjoyable experience

We came here as it was saved on my list to try when in Madrid. However, there are 3 places with in about a 30m radius that have a similar name so the one we thought we were coming to one place but it was actually a different one. Nevertheless, this place was still good and it’s tucked away from the main busyness of the city. The food was good and price was ok for what you got. We weren’t very hungry so only had some small dishes. Overall a decent place to come to if you want to take a break from exploring the city.

Restaurante como los de antes , un asador tipico que parece que no le ha pasado el tiempo , pero tendrian que actualizar se , sobretodo cambiar los separadores de madera y plasticos ... La comida correcta , los calamares si eran buenos y tiernos , pero la morcilla de Burgos un poco seca , no tenia su textura ! eso es porque las tienes congeladas demasiado tiempo , el filete correcto y el cochinillo bueno no esta mal , pero los he comido mejores ! We were initially concerned that this might be a tourist trap after reading reviews upon arrival. To avoid unexpected charges, we asked for the bread to be removed and clarified whether the *Pimiento de Padrón* and *Pan con Tomate* placed on our table were complimentary. The *jamón ibérico* exceeded our expectations in portion size and taste—it was quite enjoyable. Fuimos dos personas a comer al Asador Real y la experiencia fue algo irregular. El cordero, que debería ser el plato estrella, no tenía un sabor especialmente destacado y resultó algo seco. La atención tampoco fue la mejor. Al llegar, una camarera intentó acomodarnos en una zona más tranquila, lejos de una mesa grande de cumpleaños. Sin embargo, otro camarero nos llevó directamente a una mesa pegada al grupo y en pleno paso de gente, a pesar de que había mejores opciones libres tanto dentro como fuera. Lo más positivo fue el vino de Toro, una muy buena recomendación que acompañó bien la comida. En general, esperaba más de un sitio con este nombre, tanto en el cuidado de la comida como en la atención al cliente.

Pedimos medio cuarto de asado y una ración de asado. Nos pusieron tres paletillas. No nos dieron a elegir cuarto delantero para poder comer alguna chuletilla. El camarero que nos atendió solo decía monosílabos. Si van a ir piénsenlo no es recomendable.

The food was ok but attitudes of two waitresses (maybe Filipinos) were bad as if they were looking down on us. They also did not have any facial expressions. When we asked one of the waitresses how big one portion of a grilled pork is, she used a hand to show how small it is. But … it was quite big. One pork was already enough for two people and we couldn’t even finish eating it all. In addition, when we were leaving the restaurant, they didn’t say anything.
