Stopped in here for a quick coffee and churros but we ended up having a more substantial breakfast than planned. Got a nice table in the middle of the restaurant and there was a nice atmosphere with lots of locals stopping in for quick coffees. Saw some ones bacon and eggs come out and had to have it for ourselves, I don't know if its a Spanish this but I love that they serve their eggs runny, the only way to have them!! Would recommend this for anyone looking for a quick bite or a coffee.

Had a lovely breakfast here. I liked the cosy atmosphere. The café con leche was so delicious. Friendly staff, clean place and delicious food. I would definitely go back.

Fuimos a comer entre semana y esta bien, había bastante gente. Tardaron en traer la comida y más tiempo, casi 30 min en traer el segundo plato, pero a lo mejor iban mal de personal. Comida bien, elegimos el menú, gazpacho y dorada, buen pero no muy bien. Calidad precio un poco regular pero la localización es muy buena y dentro es bonito.

En pleno centro de Madrid, frente al Teatro Real, buen menú para tomar al mediodía. Calidad/Precio genial. La lasaña buenísima. El problema es que siempre es el mismo menú y si te sales del mismo con una bebida más, te cobran casi 4 € por un agua de 0,50 l.

Good food. The portions are large so consider sharing your tapas or entrees. Also keep in mind if you're visiting from the US, bread is not complimentary. If you order water, it is by default by the bottle and you'll be charged for it too.

The seafood paella was a hit! For the price and the size, I couldn't beat it. It was very well seasoned. Red wine is a good pairing. The restaurant is unique with its wood earrings in the ceiling and artistry over the door. Charming. Recommend.

Nice little restaurant with tasty food and friendly, helpful staff. One waiter who went above and beyond was Joscar who was patient and always smiling. Favourite meals were paella, salmon and rice and the cakes were divine. Lovely place to enjoy a bottle of wine.

It's a nice restaurant but should be a 5*. They have good service decent or good food but their practice of adding money for complementary bread or other things is annoying. Steak and dessert was good

The atmosphere is very nice. Wood walls that are highly polished. Old beams line the ceiling. The music is nice and not loud. The service is very good. The waiters are attentive. Not speaking any Spanish we were able to easily convey our order. The food was delicious. We ordered from the daily menu. They gave us a baked potato and cream on toast as a tapa. Then a basket of fresh bread arrived. Our starters were spaghetti with prosciutto and tomato/buffalo mozzarella salad. Our main courses were chicken wings with potatoes and peppers and Iberian tender loin with potatoes and pepper. For dessert we had carrot cake and apple pie. All of it was delicious. The carrot cake was exceptionally moist. The apple pie had cream on the bottom. The three course meal was only 17€ per person an exceptional value compared to other restaurants.

Esta bien para comer el menu al medio dia. La lasagna no es nada del otro mundo, esta demasiado hecha pero la sangria estaba buena. La carne normalo, tipica de menu. No es una super calidad pero por un precio de menu no se puede pedir mas en el centro de Madrid

I guess it's standard in Madrid that they don't speak any English in restaurants, but anyway it's pretty weird for such a big tourist city. This restaurant has a charming atmosphere, I really liked the old interior. Although the constantly flashing lights are quite annoying after a while. The service was nice, although they had quite a lot. I joined my family who had lunch there a bit late, and didn't get the tapas they were giving everyone as I observed late. I ordered the seafood paella, it was tasty but not exceptional. The spaghetti bolognese was without parmesan cheese. The portions were reasonable for the price.

Acceptable foods quality and nice ambient but unfortunately not a good service. The paella takes so long to be ready and to be honest it wasn't like any paella which I've already tried.

La comida muy rica, al principio cuando lo vi en la carta me pareció un poco elevado su coste pero de calidad y cantidad luego estuvo bien, se pagó “con gusto”. La sorpresa vino con 7,5€ de pan (3 personas), cuando nos lo sirvieron en la mesa sin que se lo pidiéramos, lo trajo con un quesito y decía que era de cortesía. Muy bien, el queso de cortesía, pero luego a pagar 2,5€ por persona de pan (una celíaca no toco el pan). El personal muy amable pero no sé si es falta de experiencia, nos recogió dos platos mientras la otra persona seguía comiendo… me parece una falta de respeto. Uno no va a cenar con prisas…

No vayan! Cocina italiana muy mala. El queso bueno. El jamón regular y mal cortado.

Las instalaciones limpias y con una arquitectura muy bonita dónde prima la madera. Pedimos un bocadillo de jamón ibérico y un cortado; estuvimos esperando el bocadillo hasta que el camarero nos volvió a preguntar si lo ponía, cuando trae el bocadillo cuyo precio es 9.25€, lo trajo sin el tomate, tuvimos que pedirlo porque lo ponía en la carta. El jamón muy escaso. No creo que llevara la cantidad reglamentaria. Un cortado en una taza pequeña la cobran como un café con leche normal, 3 euros. Para no repetir. No lo recomiendo.

Fuimos un jueves a comer, no había mucha gente, tardaron un poco en acercarse a la mesa. Las pizzas pequeñas para el precio que son pero bueno lo pagas porque estas en Madrid y el sitio es céntrico. Aunque la sorpresa llegó cuando por un cortado nos cobraron 3,25 precio desorbitado.

El domingo 20-07-2025 exactamente a las 13:30 nos sentamos en la terraza, nos atendió un camarero extremadamente maleducado y desagradable con el pico de la camisa por fuera cosa que avisamos pensando que eta un descuido pero nos sacó la bebida con la camisa igual, entiendo que será parte del uniforme, Pedimos agua con gas en un vasó grande y nos lo saco en una copa pequeña, olvidar una comanda tan complicada en 20 pasos, cuando le recriminamos nos pidió educación y las cosas por favor, dejamos todo sin empezar y no llegamos a pedir la carta para comer. Solo en la plaza hay 20 locales, no es necesario en ninguna circunstancia entrar en este establecimiento.

Estuvimos tomando algo en la terraza. La atención del camarero bien y el sitio está en un sitio muy bonito. Pero no es normal lo que cobran por dos cervezas. Nos pusieron una tapa de boquerón (no estaba mal) eso sí es verdad. Estuvimos en varios bares de la zona y en ninguno nos cobraron tanto. No volveremos porque millonarios no somos.

Experiencia nefasta. La ensaladilla nadaba en mayonesa. El sándwich mixto de ínfima calidad. Los pobres camareros desbordados y sin poder atender a las peticiones de los clientes. En fin, no volveremos. Caro y de baja calidad. Un desastre.

NO TE ATIENDEN, NO RECOMENDABLE! Entras y te miran como a algo raro, ni te saludan , te preguntan si vas a comer , como interes en sacarte dinero, una vergüenza. El lugar vacío y pretenden sentar a 6 personas en una mesa en la puerta sin mantel, trato nefastoo, nos fuimos inmediatamente, nos hubieramos gastado 600€ solo en vinos ! Una pena !! We nota que les da igual cobrar el salario a fin de mes !!

Un ejemplo de cómo la restauración en el centro de Madrid ha enloquecido. Café carísimo, mesas abigarradas (estábamos como piojos en costura) un sándwich con un jamón york de ínfima calidad. Los camareros desbordados corriendo de un lado para otro como pollo sin cabeza y contando milongas sobre quien hace las elaboraciones de confitería.

Worst restaurant in Madrid! The food quality is bad, and they didn't metion that the bread is extra (one little piece of bread) 2,5 eur, and not inculided just give us, but we didn't order. In the menu somewhere they write it down in smallest print. Take care, avoid this place!

Definitely not recommended. The food is below average while they charge 2.5 EUR/person for appetizers which are free in a normal restaurant. When we told them we don't want to pay 10 euros for something we didn't ask for, they showed that they write in the menu that you have to specifically say you DO NOT want the appetizers. Worst tourists bait ever.

I have spent about 6 months in Madrid over the last few years.This was by far the worst meal I have had. I ordered a pizza and tried to eat it, but barely finished a slice. It was over 17 euros and I left most to waste. I told the waiter but he didn't seem to care.

Absolutely the worst place to eat, when in Madrid. Ordered the tapas and it was terrible, the shrimps smelled awfull, and had been fried to a crisp. The pizza we also had, was soo bad, we only had one slice each. Lost all appetite, paid the bill and left.
