No hubo fallo.
Imposible no recomerdarlos.
My Family had Dinner here the day after Christmas. I could not have been more impressed with the service, the food, and the vibe. It was such a wonderful restaurant. They took such wonderful care of our two young children, and even though my Spanish is minimal, we were able to speak in Spanish and truly have a wonderful time. I can't wait to go back then next time we are in Madrid. FYI: The Mussels dish was one of the best I've ever had in any restaurant - simply phenomenal. Cheers! Salud!
We went to Mar Mia the first weekend in October. Mar Mia is a very elegant and aesthetically pleasing establishment. I started off with an Old Fashioned cocktail that was very good, my wife had a Hugo Spritz that she loved. As a starter we had Canape de Caviar that was very delicious and it was served on Gluten Free bread which was a huge value add for us because my wife is celiac. For entrees, my wife had the Rodaballo (Turbot) which she found very delicious and I had the very exquisitely prepared Pata de cangrejo real (King Crab Leg), it was sooooo good. Num num to the Nth degree! We had both had glasses of very good wine, and shared an awesome Gluten Free Dessert that I believe was Tarta de queso y turrón de Jijona (Cheesecake and Jijona nougat) and I had Carlos the 1st Brandy which paired very well with the dessert. Our waiter was very good, very professional and service, presentation and preparation of everything was absolutely impeccable. Mar Mia is a Michelin Guide restaurant.
We had the best experience at Mar Mía in Madrid! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, and we have to give a special mention to Marc. He was absolutely phenomenal, attentive, warm, and made us feel completely at home. His energy and genuine care turned a great dinner into something truly unforgettable. The food and atmosphere were wonderful, but it was Marc who made the entire experience one of a kind. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Gorgeous restaurant, one of the prettiest spaces you can enjoy food. The food presentation was amazing. You should have the tuna tartar, it’s ethereal. The leek was also great. The tenderloin was good, not spectacular. Drinks were amazing. Best dry martini of the year. Cheese cake was great. Service was professional and friendly. Highly recommended.
What an amazing and delicious experience! This 2 times Michelin star winner restaurant has a great service and food. Our sever Giancarlos went above and beyond he treated us like we were royalty and not only that, we went with our little picky eaters and crafted a great delicious meal for them. To finished our experience the chef Tito served us our last plate! The food was amazing, we ate a large variety of plates and each one had an unbelievable flavor.
We were surprised and delighted with our lunch here - the dining room is beautiful, and quiet enough for conversation. The food was absolutely excellent, with every course just perfect. The lubina was some of the best we've had anywhere. We had great service and loved the seafood here, one of our new favorite places in Madrid!
Exceptional Culinary Experience My sister and I had the pleasure of dining at this Michelin-starred restaurant, and it was absolutely wonderful. We ordered the vegetarian paella, which was not only delicious but also beautifully and creatively presented. Every bite was a delight, with perfectly balanced flavors. The service was incredibly polite and attentive, making the evening even more enjoyable. The staff's professionalism and attention to detail truly added to the overall experience. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant!
Absolutely outstanding! My dining experience at this Mediterranean gem in Madrid was nothing short of extraordinary. We were warmly welcomed by Raquel and Rafael, whose impeccable service truly elevated our evening. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly, ensuring every detail was perfect. The appetizers were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Each dish was a delightful journey through Mediterranean cuisine, with the main courses and desserts equally impressive. The quality of the food was exceptional, with every bite bursting with authentic flavors. Lastly, the ambiance of the restaurant is vibrant and inviting, perfectly capturing the essence of Mediterranean culture. Raquel and Rafael's dedication to excellent service made our visit unforgettable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in Madrid. Five stars all the way!
Had a really great experience at this restaurant. The vibes were great and the staff was friendly. The drinks were excellently crafted and the staff was very helpful when I asked if they had any recommendations. Would 100% recommend this place as they have great service, drinks and the interior is beautiful.
I visited this restaurant on October 2024 for a dinner during a company offsite. Atmosphere was really fancy and food quality as well as dishes presentation good. We had a small issues during the bill payment as the staff were not able to split the bill among 4 people printing 4 different receipts - please keep in mind that you could encounter some issues if you need to get different receipts after dinner split. Moreover, there were additional dishes not ordered on the bill - I really hope it was a mistake and not a recurrent scam practice. This is an upscale place for fine dining so it is perfect for special occasions. Prices are high and not fully aligned to the quality and service provided. Reservations are required.

No me impactó.
It certainly looks the part: great decor, smart uniformed staff and so on. Why a restaurant needs a DJ pumping out the beats is beyond me but perhaps it appeals to a certain demographic. Perhaps they were having a bad night but the anchovies were off the menu and nobody appeared to notice my empty glass. A place to be seen, if not to eat. I made my excuses and left early.
We hoped the reviews were wrong, but this restaurant is average at best. We were there for an early dinner, and the service was not the best (they even gave us the wrong bottle of wine and opened i…
Clearly overpriced. Rice with vegetablws, 25 EUROS per person. However, the rice is not worth more than 18 EURPS per person. One "gamba roja" is 17,50 EUROS, again, it is NOT worth it. The staff i…
I will begin by saying the bar prepares exquisite cocktails and beverages, including non-alcohol ones. Unfortunately, bad service can marr an experience though. An employeed named Desiree, was very rude to me, her lack of courtesy and training made me just get up and leave one day. I was craving a nonalcohol beverage, I had the day before. There was no greeter, so I went in further, noticed there were tables being set up for dining, but another area was not, I sat at a table next to a couple also sitting with only drinks. Desiree, came over with bad attitude and said I couldn't sit there, so I said, oh, I thought since it is not made it would be ok. And she angrily responded, I just cleaned it and was getting ready to set it up and turned her back on me and moved on to prep another table in the original area of tables that were being set-up. At which point, I said, so tell me where I should sit and she just ignored me, so I said or should I just leave? she ignored me. Even a co-worker of hers, went to her asking her what was the matter. At that point I just got up and told her, that was no way in which to treat a customer, much less one staying at the hotel. There wasn't even an attempt to accommodate or to deescalate. I have worked in customer service, and her attitude is not acceptable, specially for the type of establishment in the middle of a tourist center. A Michelline guide recommended restaurant. I don't hope for her to fired, but I do wish for retraining and for the manager to pay attention for additional complaints. Later that day her boss was there and she was attentive and courteous. The next morning though, my husband got ahead of me for breakfast, when I got there, I told her, my husband is already here and checked in (I wasn'tas courteous as I would normally be), she responded with attitude, I still need the room number, so I gave it to her, and again tried to tell her my husband had already checked as he was already ordering for the 2 of us (I even pointed at him, as the breakfast area is very small), she kept asking for the room number, I gave it to her a total of 3 times and she kept arguing, so at that point I said I have given it to you 3 times already. At which point she did deescalte and forced herself to apologize a bit. Because we were staying another day, I decided not to ruin our experience and waited for the review. We stayed at the hotel for three nights, at the end of our Europe trip. The Ocean Drive hotel is in a great location, the hotel staff is courteous and helpful, rooms were clean, and confortable, nice breakfast buffet, I would definitely recommend the hotel.

Finished first round of drinks, asked two waiters to come and take our order but sadly no joy. Not sure why as the restaurant was empty!
First of all the Interior Design was absolutely beautiful but this is the Worst Michelin Star restaurant I’d ever been. I walk in an hour before they start the lunch and made a reservation successfully. They presented the menu at the entrance and with English options. I wanted to try their tasting menu but my server didn’t even know and had to checked and told me that was only for Monday- Friday which no where could find on their menu or website. Which is fine, I tried to order from their main menu and told the first 2 things I wanted was gone but I was the first person walk for lunch. Anyway, so I asked some recommendations and ended tried 4 dishes and a cocktail, Hugo Spritz - tasted like non-alcoholic beverage, lots of honey, way too sweet. Everything was way too salty and lacked of creativity. I seriously have no idea how they can get the star. My server was okay, but he didn’t even tried to explain anything about the dish or asked if I enjoy the food. The disappointment of the food and service was incredible.
Very limited choices of food. Small portions. Cheapest wines start from €30 and they taste like acid. I can buy much better wine in the nearby grocery store for just €5. The overpriced paella they served was half-burnt and stuck to the pan. When we notified our waiter about this he very impatiently told us that that is how paella supposed to be. Very overrated and extremely overpriced place.
