Fenomenal Jose
Excellent experience, a traditional restaurant with excellent products, top quality raw materials, more than that; a restaurant is a home, lifelong waiters, Miguel and José who are lifelong bartenders and my recognition for them and the rest of the team, a 10 and a warning to sailors if you see a phone like the one in the photo, stay to eat, if you see a tablet or similar technology franchises blah blah run away from there, the authentic and the traditional have no competition
I really liked the food menu, it was very tasty and the waiter was very attentive, very good service
This place truly embodies the spirit of Madrid. The food is delicious, the meat is fresh, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and most importantly, incredibly tender. The atmosphere is super cozy, and I loved the rustic decor. The waiters were fantastic, especially Mily ✨😻. I didn't take any pictures because the food was so good I didn't have time, but I highly recommend this restaurant if you want a great meal. 👌🏻
This is the place to eat a hearty stew that will revive you—one of the best I've ever had, definitely in my top three. If I had to find a fault, it's that nobody can finish it because they don't skimp on the portions at all, so it's best to skip breakfast on the day you go so you can savor this culinary gem even more. The staff is very attentive and friendly.
I've been going to this restaurant for many years and I'll be going for many more. We've had family meals there forever, although I've also gone with just my parents a few times. Excellent value for money, everything is delicious, and the staff are very friendly and provide great service.
Best asador in the immediate area. There is also a second sister restaurant in the same town, jardín de baco II

Es un restaurante de toda la vida de barrio. Comí menú del día y alimentos de calidad.Precio acorde
I'm a regular customer. It's a long-standing restaurant in the neighborhood. It's undergoing a change of ownership. Everyone will like the level of service they've changed from the previous one to a greater or lesser extent. But... I do want to emphasize the manager's abusive treatment of a waitress today; he yelled at her from the door of the establishment like a madman. Arguments are always better in private, and perhaps even more so when speaking to a young lady. Politeness is important.
It's fine to have a beer on the terrace, the kitchen is not bad for a small portion of calamari, which they usually do very well.
The Thursday morning stew is on the menu, spectacular. With four of us, five of us ate it, and there was some leftover. Perhaps a little more chickpeas and cabbage would have been nice, but we left feeling super satisfied. However, the apple tart was worthless—the puff pastry was soft and almost raw.
A typical, traditional Madrid restaurant. Good food and hearty stews. A place to enjoy a good pot roast or a traditional roast. It's like being in Segovia, but in the neighborhood. It offers good value for money, and the set menu is very generous; you'll leave completely stuffed. They have a wide variety of dishes and desserts, and everything was delicious. However, be sure to make a reservation because it fills up quickly. Highly recommended. Two set menus plus drinks and water came to less than €30 per person.
Decadent. A bar and restaurant with over 40 years of history, once a leader in the Santa Eugenia neighborhood, but which has declined in recent years to the point of being a mere shadow of its former self. I don't know if nostalgia will influence the rating.
I went for a drink with my partner, and I was honestly shocked to see the price of the portions. We ordered a portion of bravas (which wasn't on the menu, but I assumed they would have it), and it turns out they don't serve potatoes. At that point, and to accompany the drink we ordered, we ordered six croquettes for over €10. In its favor, the terrace is very cozy and the service was very pleasant.
It's been a while since I've found a place with such poor quality. We ordered fried eggs, calamari, and croquettes... the 3 basic dishes you'd find in any bar in Spain... Horrible frozen croquettes, like a hungry 6-year-old kid saying he wouldn't eat them... Fried eggs, almost raw on top and dry on the bottom, half grilled, half fried, and the potatoes (the crappy frozen ones they serve now that imitate patatas bravas but are horrible... well, horrible if possible... again the kid said he wouldn't eat those)... to finish, some calamari, well, the usual pota, tasteless, poor quality, badly made... Inedible, again the kid said who the hell was going to eat that... We complained to the waitress about the terrible quality of everything and they told us we were invited for the inconvenience... They brought us a small plate of ham so the kid could have some dinner... and to top it off, the ham was as rancid as anything, inedible again. So, what happened to this place? The food used to be delicious and of a certain quality. Were we unlucky? Maybe they're only good with the meat, but the basics are terrible.
