Un gran restaurante con una comida espectacular. Con un ambiente familiar, trendy, elegante, también de negocios destaca por su buen servicio y comida. Pedimos de picoteo: croquetas, anchoas, jamón, anchoas, de principales solomillo, cordero, cochinillo, y de postre torrija.

Me encantó! Es un lugar elegante, con un servicio de primera, la presentación y sabor de los platillos es buenisima. Yo comí pesca del día y honestamente muy bueno. Aunque estoy segura que lo que pidas te va a gustar mucho!

Comida asturiana auténtica y de altísima calidad. Platos tradicionales elaborados con un producto excelente y un sabor espectacular. I hate to leave this review only because more people will go making getting a reservation more difficult:) The food is tremendous.. My favorite dish is the Foie Gras. In fact, anyone I have invited to dine at El Paraguas who has tried the Foie Gras agree it is the best they have had. The service has always been great, the drinks very tasty, and the atmosphere very pleasant and relaxing.

Elegant and classy restaurant with quality tablecloths, dinnerware, and impeccable service. The pasta with morels was perfectly al dente and full of flavor. The crispy pork was delicious. My wife’s hake (merluza) wasn’t as good as on previous visits. Desserts were excellent—highly recommend the torrija and the apple tart. Gin and tonics are well made. The wine selection by the glass is very good, though the pours are on the small side.

Amazing gazpacho, lovely grilled octopus…. My Mother couldn’t talk enough about that delicious artichoke lasagna!! The best one I’ve ever had!! However, I must comment on the host of the terrace Alex who was rude and had an entitled attitude about him approaching the guests with such a demeanor!! Passive aggressive comments and felt rushed every time he came to our table. His service was the only down side of this experience, otherwise every other server was kind, attentive, courteous and very efficient!! Each course that followed built upon the last like movements in a symphony—cohesive yet surprising!! Loved everything about this place, except our disappointed encounter with this guy who should clearly not be serving at a 5 star restaurant!!

Excellent service and even better food. Highly recommended. We were lucky to get a semi-private room in the 2nd floor (good for 8 but we were only 5) and had an extremely enjoyable experience.

La comida me pareció correcta pero no impresionante. El cachopo no termino de convencerme del todo, y no tener guarnición con unas patatas asadas no me pareció correcto. Premium tier restaurant in Salamanca, no complaints with the food, all in a high level with prices to match. Nice restaurant and upmarket decoration. Minor objections for the service - the Beefsteak Tartar was announced as being made table side - from other places I've been this means "haché en couteau" in front of you and mixed table side. This didn't happen. Also, so e discrepancies, whereas the young staff members were friendly and cheerful, the older ladies there appeared slightly grumpy.

Visitamos este restaurante el 1 de enero de 2026, tras una recomendación personal basada en una experiencia anterior positiva. Lamentablemente, la velada no estuvo a la altura de nuestras expectativas. A pesar de una reserva realizada con más de tres semanas de antelación, se nos asignó inicialmente una mesa situada en el pasillo de acceso a la cocina, con evidentes molestias acústicas y constantes desplazamientos del personal. Tras manifestar nuestro desacuerdo, se nos reubicó en el exterior, bajo una carpa cuya protección térmica resultaba insuficiente. Por otro lado, el camarero nos propuso varios platos fuera de carta, entre ellos “angulas”, sin indicarnos en ningún momento el precio ni ofrecer una explicación clara del producto, a pesar de que no dominamos los matices del idioma español. Como residentes en el sur de Francia y aficionados a la anguila, pensábamos que se trataba de anguilas tradicionales, cuando en realidad se nos sirvieron alevines. Si bien los platos eran sabrosos, la sorpresa fue considerable al recibir la cuenta: 319 € por dos raciones de angulas, es decir, 159,50 € por plato, para una cuenta total superior a 530 € para dos personas. La calidad gastronómica y el trato fueron correctos, pero la falta de transparencia en los precios dejó una sensación final muy negativa y la impresión de una experiencia poco honesta con el cliente.

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere - great lighting, tasteful decoration, and everything was clean and well-maintained. Entrées: The grilled octopus and the burrata with tomatoes were excellent starters, definitely the highlights of the meal. Plats: However, the main dishes were quite underwhelming. There were no sides offered, even after asking, which made the plates feel incomplete. I tried the lamb and the cod: the lamb was served with just a small bowl of plain lettuce - literally just a few leaves in a bowl. The cod was decent in terms of flavor but also came with nothing on the side. For the price, it really didn’t feel like good value. Dessert: Apple pie - was interesting choice. Cocktails were very good.

Hacia tiempo que no iba, pero tenia buen recuerdo y decidí reservar para una comida de trabajo. El ambiente es agradable, el nivel de la cocina sigue siendo bueno, aunque de segundo pedimos cachopo y tengo que decir que los he comido mejores y más baratos. Lo que es un sinsentido, quiero destacar y por lo cual no puedo dar más de 2 estrellas, es el precio de los vinos, abusivo. Por poner ejemplos concretos de marcas que consumo y conozco, una botella que suele estar en 35-40 €, costaba 70 €, una botella que habia pedido en otro restaurante una semana antes por 160 €, costaba 240 €. El servicio correcto, camareros amables, aunque con instrucciones para rellenar las copas de vino constantemente, un poco agobiante y algo que un restaurante de este tipo no necesita.

Fuimos este viernes a cenar mi mujer y yo. Nos dieron mesa en la terraza, con los calefactores se esta cómodo. El servicio muy lento para atender, pero lo que más nos sorprendió fue la actitud del somelier. Nos deja la carta del vino, después de esperar un rato a ver si nos recomendaba alguno finalmente se acercó a nuestra mesa, y le dije que queríamos un vino suave en un rango de precios 80-100e. Nos trajo uno, le indicamos que nos parecía fuerte el sabor y dijo que si nos traía otro ya nos lo tendríamos que quedar aunque no nos gustará, porque no iba a abrir otra botella, haciéndonos sentir una presión innecesaria desde el primer momento. Me dejo la carta en la mesa sin recomendar ningún otro vino.. Que un somelier te recomiénde simplemente un vino y te diga que si eliges otro y no te gusta te lo tienes que beber, con una actitud arrogante hace que una cena empiece ya de una manera incomoda. Pedimos un entrante de espárragos y un pescado para compartir (pez espada). Al pedir la cuenta otro momento incómodo, la cuenta ascendía a 560e. Cuando habíamos pedido dos copas de champagne, una botella de vino de 80e Luis Cañas,un entrante y el pescado. Al revisar la cuenta indica que las dos copas de champagne eran 230e. Le comenté que me parecía excesivo y volvío diciendo que había sido un error, que lo había cambiado, el total de las dos copas eran casi 70e. Ni disculparse ni nada, solo culpar a su compañera que lo había marcado mal. Te llevas el susto de la cuenta, y lo único que te dicen que es ha sido un error de la chica que apunta. El pan que te ofrecen ellos luego te hacen pagarlo, 11 euros. Precio de restaurante exclusivo con un servicio, atención y trato al cliente pésimo. Hemos ido a Quintin que esta a escasos metros en varías ocasiones y tanto el trato como la comida siempre ha sido una grata experiencia. Por eso la decepción de este viernes ha sido aún más notoria.

Extremely disappointed with this €168 food experience and would not recommend. The service was by far the worst. The hostess was rude and distant, the wait staff made it clear they were just working, no warmth, no hospitality. They soured the mood almost instantly. They made us feel very unwelcome. As a top tier restaurant the service is expected to be as impeccable as the food and this was not the case. FAR from it. The food. There were some good dishes. The steak medallions with mustard sauce, the house wine tinto were good. Nothing really impressed us but those two were good. The croquettes were OK. The pasta with langoustine was not good. There was barely any langoustine on the pasta and the tails were overcooked, chewy. The apple tart was ok. The apple flan was horrible, it tasted like literal applesauce with garnish, something like bland baby food. The ambience is nice with well appointed decor but again the staff ruined the mood with their indifference and lack of polish and professionalism.
