La comida realmente muy buena. El PadThai nunca defrauda y es buena proporción. El precio un pelín más alto que lo habitual en estas comidas pero lo vale. De los postres están ricos aunque el arroz normalmente es más cremoso y esta vez nos tocó uno más seco tipo pasta. Volveremos a seguir probando nuevos platos.

Delicioso es la palabra que me viene a la mente. Sabor tailandés como ningún otro. Había pedido a domicilio mucho y con eso ya era uno de mis restaurantes favoritos. Ir en persona estuvo a la altura, tanto por la presentación como por la amabilidad del personal

Comida riquisima y servicio excelente. Ambiente navideño muy acogedor. El menu de degustación en sus variantes es muy recomendable para compartir entre varias personas, mucha cantidad y variedad. Ubicación inmejorable a 5min andando de pl. España. Recomiendo sin duda alguna vivir esta experiencia y visitar el lugar para probar comida tradicional tailandesa.

Una experiencia muy agradable. Aunque el local no es enorme, no da sensación de agobio. El trato del personal muy atento: aconsejando y dando ideas ante nuestro desconocimiento. Éramos cinco y pedimos dos entrantes (Chiang Mai) y cuatro segundos: un Curry Verde, Yam Mango Salmón, Chuchi, Pad Kra Prow y tres de arroz jazmín. No pudimos pedir postre, porque la comida era muy abundante. Todo estaba muy sabroso, repetiría especialmente el Pad Kra Prow con cerdo. Bebimos Té frío que acompañaba muy bien. Una experiencia para repetir y seguir probando platos.

We started with the Poh Pia Sod, then shared the Pad Thai and the Pad Kra Prow with a fried egg and rice, and had some mango ice cream for dessert. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The Pad Kra Prow was quite spicy (we were warned) but absolutely divine, and the Pad Thai was delicious. The Poh Pia Sod might have been my favorite, I’d never had it before, and the combination of flavors and textures was amazing, very fresh and almost reminiscent of sushi. We loved both the food and the service and can’t wait to come back. :)

There’s a kind of restaurant that doesn’t scream for attention—it just quietly earns your respect. This little Thai spot does exactly that. No gimmicks, no inflated ego, just food cooked by people who clearly give a damn. We ordered the Pad Thai, red curry, pot piad sod, satay, and kyung sai bai. Every dish had something to say. The Pad Thai hit that perfect balance—sweet, sour, smoky, the way it should be when a wok is properly respected. The red curry came out deep and fragrant, unapologetically spicy, the kind that wakes up every sense. The satay was tender, kissed by smoke. The pot piad sod—fresh, crisp, the taste of summer in every bite. Then came dessert. A dry cake, ice cream drowned in bottled caramel—an afterthought in an otherwise soulful meal. But that’s forgivable. If they ever figure out their desserts the way they’ve mastered their curries and noodles, this place could easily be one of the greats. A reminder that real cooking doesn’t need fanfare—it just needs honesty, fire, and heart.

I walked into Kai Thai not even hungry—and somehow ended up inhaling more food than anyone else in the room. The moment I sat down, I noticed how fast everything came out. No endless waiting, no “where’s our food?” glances—just efficient, friendly service that made the whole experience feel easy and effortless. Let’s talk about that mango salad with shrimp. Light, fresh, and bursting with flavor—the sweet mango, the perfectly cooked shrimp, that zingy dressing with a little kick… it was the kind of dish that makes you pause mid-bite just to appreciate what’s happening in your mouth. Then came the fried rice. Wow. It was ridiculously good—fluffy, smoky, savory, and so well-balanced that I genuinely considered ordering another round just to take home. And the green curry with chicken? Creamy, rich, and aromatic with just the right heat. It hugged the rice in the best possible way. The vibe? Casual and chill but with that buzz of happy diners who clearly know this place is a gem. I wasn’t even planning to eat much, but by the end, I was scraping plates and making plans to come back. Kai Thai knows exactly what they’re doing—don’t miss it.

Super good thai restaurant!! If you want to try it definitely make sure to reserve a table in advance because it gets full - which by the way is always a good sign. The food came fast and was very delicious. I also loved their coconut water. Service was great as well. The prices were normal and food was excellent. Overall, I definitely recommend it!

Comida muy muy rica de buena calidad. Ambiente súper cómodo. Un poco caro para lo que es, pero está muy muy rico. Los postres merecen mucho la pena y las bebidas de té igual! Es necesario reservar, porque el sitio es chiquitito.

Nos ha gustado mucho, toda la comida estaba buenísima. El Pad Thai muy fresco. Los currys son una delicia, especialmente recomendado el rojo de pato y el verde. Ponen mucha atención y cuidado a los platos sin gluten.

Fuimos en grupo a comer un domingo con reserva y la comida y la atención muy bien, el chico que nos atendió respondió todas nuestras dudas pero se veía un poco estresado por el tiempo. Tienes dos horas desde que empieza la reserva y no paraban de recordárnoslo, lo que añade un poco de presión. El menú degustación estaba divino, bastante comida, todos quedamos felices. Tengo ganas de volver para probar otros platos.

Este es un restaurante tailandés muy sabroso y completo, que nunca defrauda. Su servicio es correcto y los precios para la zona en la que están y la calidad del producto, son correctos. De hecho, entre semana disponen de un menú del día completo por menos de 16 euros. A pesar de salir encantados, sentimos que algunos de los platos estuvo demasiado grasiento …resultando en una difícil digestión.

Great Thai food recommended by Thai friends. The menu is varied but not too extensive, and the food is fresh and tastes homemade. The only drawback is that all the veg was the same, so if you pick a wok or a curry, the veg was the same in each dish. The service was also a bit lacklustre and not too helpful. If you know what you're looking for, then it's a great Thai restaurant at a super central location in Madrid.

Great place for a quick lunch! They are really well prepared to serve a quick lunch. I didn’t wait longer than 5 minute. Good daily offer. I had soup, main, desert and drink for 14,90€. Quick and good. Vegetarian and vegan option also available. Waiter double checked with me if I can eat eggs. Highly recommend!

Muy rico Pad Thai, sin embargo soy celiaca muy sensible al gluten. La chica que nos tomó la orden fue muy amable y cuidadosa de indicar la preparación del plato apto para celiacos pero igual tenía trazas por lo que creo que en mi caso no podré repetir.

We we came for dinner hopping for an authentic Thai cuisine experience that were sadly disappointed as the food didn't meet our expectations, even a simple dish like pad thai wasn't done right,pad kra pow was nothing like the original. Didn't have the minced meat and fried egg. It was simple. Stir fried veggies with slices of beef, when I ask for chili oil they give me some fermented peppers, when we told the waitress the food was not to our liking, She saw that more than half of the food was still on the table. It’s a small Thai restaurant where I tried the “Chicken Green Curry.” The curry was okay but lacked flavor. I’ve had green curry at many other places, and it always comes with rice included. Here, however, you have to order rice separately, which is frustrating.

I would not order delivery. The soup came well protected but every oily item was put into normal containers without a seal. The inside of the bag was caked in oil and sauces. Also just a completely untraditional and mediocre pad kra pao. Maybe it tastes better with the sauce but at least dice the chicken

Honestly, I do not understand how is the restaurant rated so high. We came 3 people that loves Thai food we have ordered about 6 dish plates Non of the dish was othentic thai food We haven't finished non of the plates was served The waitress came and ask how is food we told that we are very disappointed from the taste of the food but actually she didn't care As a Thai food lover, i wouldn't recommend On that restaurant if you like othentic tastes of Thailand

I used to be the biggest fan and supporter of Kai Thai, telling everyone to come and try the restaurant. After today I wont be doing that anymore. The food quality had lowered, the dishes are served cold, and the flavor has basically disappeared, while it has become more expensive. The worst is the fake dessert they offer. The “tapioca” dessert they used to sell, which was delicious, know is made with sago instead. Nevertheless, the product is still marketed as “tapioca”. When I asked the waiter where in fact the tapioca was in my “tapioca” dessert he was speechless and tried to justify with saying that the sago was the tapioca which are actually rice balls… Very sad to have lost one of my favorite restaurants in Madrid.
