Very beautiful place was hesitant at first trying a Japanese restaurant in Madrid, but this place was truly lovely. The food and service was amazing even making us want more and order a double portion for some of the starters. As far as pricing goes, its very respectful considering the taste and quality. We highly reccomend the takoyaki (octopus balls). The place even looks beautiful, just go downstairs to the bathroom and you'll see for yourself. Highly reccomend for anyone near Gran Via.
My first Ramen in Madrid, this place hit the spot! We ordered ramen, a sushi roll, and gyoza (best i’ve had in Spain)! The service was amazing for being just a few guys! Try the special sake drink too they’re so yummy! €7 for lemonade flavor Japanese alcohol; unique and refreshing! 😋 Also the decorations inside make the place come to life. Outdoor seating option in a populated street in Madrid is always fun to take advantage of too!
Very nicely decorated restaurant with delicious food just steps away from Madrid’s busiest area. We tried some sushi and I was taken by surprise at how good it was! Also had an app and a main as well, everything was great. Would definitely recommend this spot for dinner.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at one of the best Japanese restaurants in Madrid, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and elegant — a perfect blend of traditional Japanese decor with a modern touch. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with authentic flavors. The sushi was incredibly fresh, the rice perfectly seasoned. The service was equally impressive: attentive, friendly. Whether you’re a sushi lover or just looking to explore quality Japanese cuisine, this spot is a must-visit in Madrid. I’ll definitely be returning — and bringing friends! Reasonable prices 👍👏👏👏
Place was clean and located right off the main strip of shopping stores. Was located in the perfect spot. We had gyudon, chicken teriyaki, salmon tartare and a maguro roll for an early dinner. Super yummy!! Food was awesome and staff was very pleasent. Did a great job speaking English for us. Even scored a great window seat so we could people watch. Would definitely visit!!
We went for dinner and everything was amazing. The service was fast and everyone was kind and willing to recommend good options, from cocktails (all great, with a japanese twist) to the main dish (we almost ordered two soups, so they suggested to take one tortilla). One of the dishes was prepared in front of us which was an interesting experience too, and all the food tasted great. I haven't been to Japan but I imagine the atmosphere and decorations are also pretty authentic. We finished with mochi which was the best I had until now.
Really cool place and I can a 100% confirm this is like a Japanese Izakaya that was straight moved from Japan to Madrid. From their design, atmosphere and food, it is really nice to see something like that brought here. Of course, there are some differences as it they can't have everything identical as Japan but it was a great idea to bring that idea here as it essentially transports you to Japan as soon as you enter Konnichiwa. The playlists is also japanese, they have anime songs and proper japanese artists on their playlist. The staff was super friendly and they were very attentive. Great experience!
Great rolls, fast and friendly service. Not crowded, really nice. Would come again if I get to Madrid. Looks like this is not a very popular place yet, recommend!

I was hesitant to try this place as I still haven’t found a good Japanese spot in Madrid.. at first glance, it really has the Japanese vibe. It feels like walking at a Japanese hole in the wall with the wood, art, lanterns, and dim lighting. The menu has a good variety and we went with the Katsu bao, gyozas, and some sushi. The bao was outstanding!! The pork came in a hot pot and it was “DIY”. Delicious!!! The gyozas were pretty good too and the sushi was also okay. We tried the sushi that had mango, cream cheese and salmon and maybe this wasn’t the best one to try as it really felt like a mix of flavors. But still good! I enjoyed the place and would definitely return if I find myself around this area again.
Japanese place with a really nice kitchen. We tried the sushi boat and all food was delicious, decoration is also pretty nice although the tables at the very back are dark and almost no waiter comes to you unless you as for them, in our case the last dish did never arrived even though we asked in three separate moments for it

I recently visited a ramen spot in town, eager to indulge in a taste of Japan. However, my experience left much to be desired. The ramen served was overly salty and the noodles were disappointingly soft, lacking the firmness and texture I had come to expect from authentic Japanese ramen. When it comes to comparing it to the ramen I've enjoyed in Japan, this establishment falls short on multiple levels. The flavors lacked depth and complexity, failing to capture the essence of traditional ramen dishes. To add to the underwhelming meal, when I checked my bill, I was surprised to find that I received my change in an unusual manner—entirely in coins. More than six dollars worth of coins and cents were handed to me, which felt unprofessional and inconvenient. Overall, my visit to this ramen restaurant was a letdown. The overly salty broth, mushy noodles, and unusual change distribution left me feeling unsatisfied and unlikely to return for another culinary experience.

Horrible experience. The restaurant atmosphere looks cool but they took us to the back of the restaurant, where it was hot with hardly any ventilation. We ordered the “menu dia” where you can choose 2 food options, 1 drink and 1 dessert. I chose only sushi. It took 25 minutes to serve me 8 simple maki pieces. And they didn’t bring my wife’s food together. I ordered coke and my wife beer. It took 5 minutes for them to come back and say they didn’t have the beer that was included in the menu. So they offered the other one which was more expensive. We said ok. And then they didn’t bring it. So it took another 10 minutes to get the beer. Then the second part of the menu came. Again, my part came but not my wife’s. She ordered yakisoba. When it came I was surprised. It was a huge yakisoba. I had 11 pieces of small sushi. Which cannot be compared as a portion. It doesn’t make sense. To finalize, all the sushi pieces, makis and nigiris were constantly falling apart when dip into shoyu. Very annoying. The taste was plain and dull.
