La Parrilla del Sur pleasantly surprised me from the very first moment: a cozy atmosphere, attentive and friendly service, and authentic flavors that evoke the essence of the South. Beautiful and spacious establishment in the industrial area of Vallecas. With ample parking and good transport links, the service is very attentive and the place is ideal for both lunch and a beer or wine with tapas. Their Andalusian-style calamari and torreznos are highly recommended. Also worth mentioning are their scrambled eggs with ham.
It was the second time we went and they have always treated us excellently with familiar, pleasant and polite treatment. The waiters are very attentive and helpful. Calm and relaxed atmosphere. And above all, the Manager Carlos is charming, always from the moment you enter the door of the restaurant he is attentive, friendly and wonderfully close, it is a pleasure to go there. Fue una grata sorpresa descubrir este restaurante en la zona de Vallecas. Cuando llegamos pensábamos que no era necesario reservar, y aunque estaba lleno, nos hicieron un hueco, lo cual agradecimos enormemente! Gaia una gran variedad de platos, Pedimos torreznos, tartar de atún, carpaccio de tomate (que tenía un sabor como hacía tiempo que no probaba en unos tomates), zamburiñas, rodaballo y un chuletón… no se puede poner pega a ninguno de ellos. La carne estaba buenísima, con el punto tal y como pedimos pese a que pensábamos que con el aforo que tenían ese día, el servicio se iba a ver impactado, y todo lo contrario… el rodaballo muy jugoso y bien cocinado. La comida súper rica, y el servicio excepcional. Los camareros muy atentos y simpáticos y siempre pendientes de que no nos faltara nada. De postre una tarta de queso casera y helado de violeta (el cual agradecí porque soy fan de este sabor). Sencillamente hicieron de una comida, una experiencia maravillosa que estoy deseando repetir

Fantástico sitio sobre todo por la calidad de la carne y la buena cocina en el resto de platos. El precio está acorde a la calidad, no es exagerado. Pero lo mejor es la atención desde el mismo momento en el que te tomas una caña en la terraza. Acudimos 3 personas sin reserva y aún así nos hicieron hueco como pudieron (en una buena mesa del comedor principal). El restaurante estaba hasta arriba de gente, incluyendo una mesa de 47 personas. Pues con todo y con eso, nos sirvieron súper rápido y sin largas esperas entre plato y plato. Muy agradecidos por el trato y la empatía con el cliente. Sitio de referencia para volver en cualquier ocasión.
He ido un par de veces. La comida está buenísima, tanto si vas por carta como a menú del día. Muy bueno todo lo que he probado y la atención recibida.
LA PARRILLA DEL SUR. It's located in the Hormigueras industrial park in Villa de Vallecas. I have to say, this is our second visit. You can order à la carte or order a set menu; just ask the staff. The service was fantastic. The restaurant is very nice. The food was great. They have a very extensive menu. You can have a good ribeye steak or rice dishes, among other specialties. The dry rice with red prawns from Denia is spectacular. The price isn't for everyone, but you pay for the quality and service. 100% recommended

It's a shame that the service on weekends is awful, slow, and terrible, because the food is good. I don't recommend the terrace, which is full of flies. If you want to go inside, you have to make a reservation. I recommend going during the week rather than on weekends.
Excellent experience at this steakhouse. A spacious, welcoming place, and highly recommended. We enjoyed sirloin steak, lamb shanks, pork rinds, croquettes, dogfish, potato salad, and a variety of desserts, all delicious and well-prepared. The service was impeccable: attentive, friendly, and always attentive. As on other occasions, we praised Manuel, Josefina, Raúl, Estefanía, Daniel, and Daniela.

I just ate at this restaurant and if I remember correctly I have never eaten better in my life. When I ate the entrecote I was actually shivering because it was so delicious. The ALIDIS CRIANZA Ribera wine was perfect. The beans I had as a starter were unbeatable. The service was spectacular. The guy at the grill was a cracker. I won't give them more stars because it's not possible. 5 for this establishment.

They were very thoughtful, including showing us the ribeye steak before cooking it. It's a shame they didn't have chocolate cake, although the cheesecake was very good.
A great experience! We tried a wide variety of dishes. Perhaps my least favorite was the salad, but that was because it had too much lettuce and not enough of the other ingredients; it seemed rather ordinary. However, I loved the fried pork belly, the ribeye steak was delicious, and the desserts were delightful. The service was good, polite, and professional. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the best part was how easy it was to get to and that you could park right outside. Overall, very good.

Good service. I only popped in for a coffee and everything was fine. Two days later I decided to go back for a meal. The razor clams were delicious and the grilled steak for two was spectacular—highly recommended. Oh, and it has its own parking. Nice atmosphere.

Good place and good service but they charge you for bread and an appetizer without asking for it 1.90 per person. They should ask if you want an appetizer or not.
What a find! The waiters are friendly and fast. The kitchen and grill are incredible. Phenomenal service and treatment. The food is a 10/10; that ribeye steak is amazing. And get this! They have a special offer: a T-bone steak and a bottle of wine for 60 euros... Unbeatable! So now you know where to go to enjoy yourself because they have a heated terrace and a room for events.
After having eaten at La Parrilla del Sur on several occasions, we chose it to host my daughter's christening. And we couldn't have made a better choice! The service from the very beginning, from the organization to the menu (different options for intolerances or allergies, for adults and children), to the table layout, and the attention from Carlos, the manager, and the other waiters was unbeatable. The food was delicious, the presentation of the dishes, which all came out at the same time, and the way all the guests were treated made it a very special day! We will definitely be back!

Very good quality food, good service. We tried the mushrooms with egg, a hamburger, a 400g sliced old beef sirloin, although I don't think it weighed close to that much... and a tomato. Everything was very, very tasty and tender. The service was very professional, the head waiter was attentive at all times. The only downside was that the tables were too close together, making the place a bit chilly. They were kind enough to say Happy Birthday and invite us to a slice of cake with candles, and everything else. A GREAT DETAIL. In short, very good food with very good service. You'll leave delighted. We'll definitely be back.
We went for lunch on Saturday and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was excellent and the prices reasonable. The waiter who served us was a very professional and polite gentleman from Granada, one of those old-fashioned types you miss in many places. The Mahou Clásica beers were served perfectly, colder than your ex's heart. And, as is proper in Madrid, Mahou. We had the Iberian ham croquettes and the grilled chicken, and everything was delicious, as well as the white sausages in wine that they served as a tapa. We'll definitely be back.

I went there for the first time to celebrate my birthday, and it was a very positive experience. It's not a cheap place, but the quality of the products makes it worth enjoying every once in a while. They also make you feel like a VIP customer at all times.

A fantastic place to eat in the Vallecas industrial estate. Carlos's service was always exquisite, recommending the daily specials and always keeping an eye on us since we were in a bit of a hurry. We ordered razor clams, pork rinds, and beef tenderloin; the photos speak for themselves. The atmosphere was great, and the chairs were very comfortable. The price-quality ratio was perfect. Aaah, and the homemade cheesecake, the best I've ever tasted. We'll definitely be back!!!
Very good place to eat delicious food, everything was good, the only drawback is the time it took to serve the main meal, which took quite a while, but it's understandable since they had several communions and that slows down the service... But otherwise, it was great and the treatment was even better.

Meat place, as soon as you walk in you are enveloped in an incredible smell of ripening, the service is good, and the price is in relation to what you eat, definitely a return visit.

Everything is delicious, the spicy chicken super juicy and flavorful. The steak is excellent and cooked exactly as ordered. There was no time to even take a photo of the filloas; they were delicious. Plus, they give you small glasses of salmorejo at the beginning of the meal, courtesy of the house. The price is reasonable for everything we ordered, including a bottle of wine. We'll definitely be back, especially without leaving the neighborhood.

Today we celebrated Father's Day there and we couldn't have made a better choice. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent, the staff were very friendly, and the place was really cool inside. For our meal, we ordered (for five people) grilled white prawns, fried pork belly, and baby squid to share. They brought us small glasses of gazpacho, which were delicious and a very nice touch from the restaurant. Then we ordered cod in pil-pil sauce, beef sirloin (spectacular!), tenderloin steak, and two portions of lamb. If I had to find a fault, the lamb could have been cooked for another five minutes, but it was very tasty. As a former chef at Bibo Madrid, working on the grill (Josper oven), I have to say that the meat was spectacularly good and perfectly cooked. For dessert, we ordered five cheesecakes, all very tasty. I must highlight the excellent service from the waitress, a very friendly blonde girl, and from the manager, Carlos, who was attentive, professional, and always had a smile. He even made a special non-alcoholic shot for my pregnant wife, and it was fantastic. Thank you for the service, the food, and the experience. We will definitely be back. And if the owner happens to be reading this, I don't know how much you pay them, but give them a raise! 😁

A friend invited me to this restaurant, which I hadn't heard of before, for lunch. It's in a location where it's hard to imagine a restaurant like this would exist. They have a very spacious dining room, another separate dining room like a glassed-in terrace, great for groups (one was celebrating a birthday), and an outdoor area, which wasn't the day we tried it because it was 1350 degrees in Madrid. But it was very well set up. The food is delicious, and the service is fast and attentive. In our case, they were very kind because there was a mistake with one of the starters, and they replaced it without any problem. They serve everything from paellas, which look extraordinary, to grilled dishes, their specialty, which are delicious. We tried the grilled octopus and a sliced beef loin to share, which was delicious. They also had some very good roasted peppers. A recommended place to visit and return to.
Desde que han abierto el restaurante vamos con frecuencia porque nos sentimos cómodos y se come muy bien, las carnes, los arroces todo muy rico. En cuanto a la atención muy buena, te hacen sentir en casa. Hoy nuestra felicitacion para la camarera Delia.
Hemos tomado una ensalada parrilla del sur (creo que se llamaba) , lomo de vaca, chuletas de cordero y hamburguesa. La ensalada, cumplidora, generosa y eso si con un tomate como hacía tiempo que no probaba de bueno. Un 7/10. Lomo, mucho sabor y tierno, acompañado de patatas fritas y pimientos de padrón. La carne mucho sabor, las patataa naturales (8/10) Las chuletas de cordero muy tiernas y cantidad generosa. (9/10). La hamburguesa, carne con mucho sabor, se nota la diferencia con respecto a otras hamburguesas. Si es verdad que puede resultar un poco sosa comparada con otras hamburguesas de la zona. (7/10). Postre tarta de queso cumplidora. (7/10) Los camareros muy agradables (10/10) El precio, algo subido. En un precio algo elevado pero lo importante,, saldréis saciados y con la sensación de haber comido carne de calidad.
La comida, aunque escueta en carta, tiene buen sabor y está bien hecho, y eso no es malo, mejor tener pocos productos bien tratados, como es este caso, a una extensa carta mal tratada. El servicio es espectacular, los camareros son dulces, educados, atentos y saben tus necesidades, un personal de 10. La parte malas es que, la parte de la terraza interior, el espacio es escueto y, en el momento que hay un par de mesas se torna la zona en griterío por el rebote del sonido. Volveré, me sentí muy cómodo y me gustó. Pd: solo incluyo la foto de las filloas porque estuve más comiendo que haciendo fotos😅.
We celebrated my birthday there. We had been wanting to go there for a while, but it was always full. I recommend booking in advance. All the food was very good. The tartar was the best I've ever tried, the meat was cooked to perfection, the prawns were very good. We only had a small problem with the bill, but they solved it quickly. The meat was excellent, the pork rinds were among the best. The service was excellent, the waiters a bit serious but professional. The place is beautifully decorated and very elegant. Parking is right outside the door, and the smell of grilled meat and good meat hits you from the moment you get out of the car. I recommend it and I'll definitely be back.
Grilled meat. I was really surprised by the flavor of this particular meat. I think it's "Rubia Gallega" beef, since it's very difficult for me to find flavorful and tender meat.

I liked the place, the food was delicious, especially the meats, the waiters and staff were excellent, the only thing I found awful was that when I was going to the bathroom I passed by the lounge (I was on the terrace) there was a man smoking; in the bathroom I could also smell cigarettes, it's unfortunate that they don't pay more attention to this type of thing that is even illegal, apart from being quite uncomfortable for other people, otherwise the place is highly recommended (I'm attaching the photo I took in the bathroom)
Great service from Carmen, friendly, kind and always attentive. The food was very good, the squid were short, 4 but beautiful, the octopus was spectacular, the prawns were good, the monkfish for 2 was very good, the lamb chops were delicious, and the shoulder and ribeye were exquisite.
Reservations are recommended. The food quality is very good. The menu isn't extensive, but everything we ate was very good. There's a €1.50 table service charge. They were quick with the first courses. They aren't quick with the second courses; I suppose it's because we all ordered meat and there's only one person at the grill. The quality is good. The meal, plus wine and dessert, came to about €45.

We went during the week and chose the set menu. You have to ask because it wasn't offered to us. They bring the menu directly to you, they tell you the menu, and they offer three starters, three main courses, and dessert. The food was good, the flank steak was grilled to perfection and comes with a side of potatoes on a separate plate. It was a bit pricey for a set menu: €56 for the two of us with a beer and two coffees.

The food was very good, although for the price, it seemed a bit limited. A complimentary shot after the meal. What I didn't like was that I later found a charge on the receipt for "table service"... I don't know if it's allowed for diners to go to the bar to collect the different dishes and not pay for the "table service." Starters: croquettes, artichokes with ham, and fried pork belly. The latter was exquisite. Main courses: Meat (Tomahawk steak and ribeye steak from mature beef). Very good and flavorful. I had dinner alone with some fried eggs and Joselito ham, which were very good. They served me very quickly, and I was really surprised. The service was very cheerful. It looks like a good place in Vallecas to have a good cut of meat.

The €26 set menu was delicious. The staff were very friendly. However, I must say that on my last visit, we ate in the recently added extension, and I have two complaints. First, we were cold. Second, there were far too many insects buzzing around, which isn't normal in December. Please look into this.

Today we returned, after many other occasions for dinner, to celebrate my mother's 90th birthday. Chaos, I don't know if it's due to lack of staff, high occupancy, or 🤷🏻♀️, but we arrived at 2:30 p.m., which is 3:50 p.m., and, apart from the starters, we still haven't seen anything on our plates. An hour and a half to digest the starters, and then we're not hungry enough for anything else. A real shame. We had to celebrate my birthday, and we went here as recommended. Great recommendation! Both the waiter and the rest of the staff were very pleasant, especially the waitress who served us. A highly recommended place to return to, and there's no problem with parking. As a starter, as a nice touch, they serve you a delicious salmorejo, and as a farewell, some shots. We ordered torreznos and squid as starters, both of which were quality and well-prepared. We followed with a spectacular cod supreme, a 45-day aged Galician beef ribeye that we're still savoring (for three people), and a sirloin steak, which was our least favorite (not because of its quality, but after trying some of the ribeye, it was unmatched). Our waitress was super attentive and attentive to us, noticing we were celebrating my birthday, and surprised us with the thoughtful gesture of bringing me a birthday cake, a 10, and a hug for her, which I hope she reads. Es una lástima que en el segundo plato se pusieran a fregar el suelo, la carne y el pescado sabían a legia y detergente de suelo y se cayó una niña al resbalar en el suelo, sufrió unos lloros, pero podría haber sido peor….( por este motivo no voy a otro restaurante). El dueño debería de vigilar estas cosas, porque siendo la comida buena y de calidad, lo estropee este gran detalle. El camarero, que era muy educado y correcto, debería de tomar unas clases de como repartir un buen pescado. El precio merece que estos detalles no vuelvan a ocurrir y sean corregidos…. Es una crítica constructiva y para que el responsable tome nota y mejore, porque si es así, el sitio merecerá la pena
First of all, the grilled meat cuts were very good, perfectly cooked and flavorful, but that's where the good points end. The croquettes were frozen inside, the pork belly was oily rather than crispy, and the hamburger was frozen, made with that dry, gray meat (even though I ordered it rare). The sirloin and tenderloin were very good. The service was overwhelmed, and when we asked to cancel our order after waiting more than 40 minutes, they told us it was ready, and we waited another 20 minutes. A tip for the restaurant: if someone wants to leave, let them; don't keep them waiting.

The sautéed clams are worthless, too much salt and vinegar, they overpower all the flavor, the meat is good, and the homemade desserts are the best part of the meal, but the service is terrible, the worst I've seen in a restaurant in a long time.
We ate a very good aged beef sirloin. The bluefin tuna tataki was also excellent. The cheesecake was the best. The seasonal tomato with piparras was very scarce for €14. The worst thing was the poor service. We can't accept that they pass us plates so we can place them on the table, or that they ask us to pass them because they haven't arrived. Lo he frecuentado bastante y siempre doy una oportunidad más porque la calidad es muy buena y difícil de encontrar por el barrio. Pero no deja de ser una taberna llegada a más , y es una lástima sobre todo el trato. La anterior vez hubo problemas con lo servido y más menos lo intentaron remediar Esta como siempre íbamos a una celebración con reserva y para nuestra sorpresa se habían confundido y reservado una mesa enorme de 10 cuando éramos 4 , en vez de cambiarlo solo quitaron los cubiertos y nos tuvimos que poner incómodos, que parecía que estábamos castigados, sin poder escucharnos por la distancia sobre todo ( ya de x si es un sitio muy ruidoso) teniendo que alcanzar y mover las cosas a las camareras por que tampoco llegaban( pago por un servicio...). Por otro lado cada vez que no hay metre el trato fatal no tenían más que 3 camareros para todo el salón y tratando con agobio y bordeada porque se desbordaba. Para colmo era una sorpresa con previo aviso para el cumpleañero y careció por su ausencia ( una vez abonado lo dije y casi saliendo por la puerta me dice que si nos cumple años feliz....También tuve que reclamar precios porque nos cobraron 6 euros de más, no coincide los precios que cobran con la carta que Dan y menos con la web ( no actualizada y con diferencia de 2 a 4 euros por plato) Casi 130 euros sin postre por un mal trato y sin ser la primera vez es lamentable aunque halla buena calidad. Ya no se merecen más oportunidades
La comida bien, tampoco es la gran cosa, teníamos expectativas altas viendo la carta pero he de decir que el trato de los camareros deja mucho que desear, nos atendían con mala cara si pedíamos algo nos hacían esperar, entiendo el estrés, pero hay formas y formas !! Después me parece increíble los precios por un pollo o un lomo para que no venga ni con guarnición!! No he visto en ningún lado que no te pongan unas patatas o aunque sea únale juega ahí carne sola pollo solo y los precios más de 20€ Te cobran aperitivos que ni si quiera pides y piensas q sin invitación, jamás volveremos ! Que triste porque podría haber estado mejor aunque sea solo si hubiéramos tenido mejor atención.

Un completo desastre. Celebramos aquí nuestra boda hace unos días, solo 20 personas y con un menú especial de boda, cerrado tiempo antes. El sitio me sorprendió, bonito, bien decorado y agradable, pero el sábado elegido estaba completamente abarrotado. Las mesas sin apenas espacio, unos biombos separando grupos que se caían cada 5 minutos, y un ruido difícilmente soportable. El servicio, escaso y malhumorado, claro. Desde las 14:00 horas, empezamos a comer casi a las 16:00, a pesar de mi insistencia (era yo la novia) ni siquiera sacaron la bebida y...sorpresa, nos cambiaron casi todo el menú: además de lo ya avisado (no había suquet de bogavante, que era lo que más me apetecía..), la crema de marisco la cambiaron por un salmorejo, las croquetas de gambas al ajillo por croquetas de jamón (eso sí, nos advirtieron que tocábamos a tres cada uno!) .No sé si es que se liaron porque pedí un cambio para una sola persona que era alérgica al marisco... Sigo: la tarta de celebración la cambiaron por dulces variados...(ni siquiera sabían que había esa tarta en el menú...de boda, les enseñe una foto , claro) y los menús de los niños, infames: en lugar de spaguetti boloñesa, eran macarrones pasados por agua (me enteré tarde, no me lo dijeron antes para no disgustarme más, porque si no, no lo hubiese permitido). La carne, en el mejor de los casos, poco jugosa y/o recalentada. Parece que solo el bacalao estaba bueno. En conclusión: gracias a mi familia, que se lo tomó todo con mucho humor, no lograron estropear del todo lo que podía haber sido un gran día. Creo que nos invitaron a una copas, eso sí. Juzguen a la vista de los menús...y miren los precios. Menú...de boda.

It's the second time I've been there and I ordered a mature Galician beef steak and it was very rancid and had a bad taste. I was disappointed. The rest, the starter and dessert were good.
Very expensive for what they serve, and we were seven people, and they overcharged us 26 euros on the bill. When we asked why, they told us it was for the tablecloth, napkins, and for serving us... amazing. And a plate with two eggs, potatoes, and ham was 23 euros. An outrage. They even added peppers without warning.
In my opinion and experience, I'm giving it 3 stars, given that it has some good points. We ordered croquettes, torreznos, huevos rotos, 400g beef tenderloin, and rice with lobster for 2, with 3 people sharing everything. The torreznos were excessively salty, so we had to remove the salt before eating. The croquettes were very tasty, quite creamy. The huevos rotos were good with ham, which was delicious. The 400g dry-aged tenderloin was overcooked, and the same thing happened with the salt, too much salt on top. The lobster rice, here's the downside: it took over an hour and twenty minutes to arrive. It was quite soupy, with too many mussels, and it lacked flavor. The rice needed to be cooked for 5 minutes. The desserts, cheesecake and tiramisu, were both quite good. Small refreshments, a negative point in my opinion. Terrace supplement of 1 euro for each dish. Price per person: 50 euros
A €25 menu seems excessive to me, with stew or a mediocre salad, and a choice of dessert or coffee. I don't think it's worth it.
First time here, and definitely the last. Nothing impressive, limited meat selection, and somewhat apathetic service. The best part was the torreznos; they were delicious! The lamb ribs, nothing good to say about them.

He comido recientemente en La Parrilla del Sur después de consultar previamente su página web y los precios publicados. Mi sorpresa fue que, al llegar al restaurante, todos los precios de la carta eran dos euros más caros que los que había visto online. Además, nos cobraron un euro adicional por producto en concepto de servicio de terraza, lo que supuso en muchos platos casi tres euros más de lo que yo tenía previsto pagar según la información que ofrecen en su propia web. Entiendo que pueda haber suplementos, pero considero que los precios deben estar claramente actualizados y que el cliente no debería encontrarse con diferencias tan significativas al llegar al local. Esta falta de transparencia genera una sensación bastante negativa. Por otro lado, la atención recibida tampoco fue buena, lo que terminó de empeorar la experiencia. Las piernas del cordero estaban Saladas y de hecho mis dos hijos que comen bastante se han dejado mucha carne por esta razón. Y además los tres que comieron cordero Están malos del estómago y han pasado mala noche. Al preguntar a la camarera el porqué de ese cobro, me decía que es que era así porque así lo ponía en la carta y había muchos clientes. Ante mi insistencia me dice que se lo va a comentar al encargado y vuelve sin el encargado y me ratifica que es que es así y por lo menos que me tengo que aguantar y además de no muy buenas maneras. Sinceramente, esperaba más claridad y mejor trato.
La comida estaba rica, eso no lo niego, pero la experiencia en general ha sido muy mala. Llegamos a las 15:00 y no salimos hasta las 18:30, algo totalmente excesivo. Los entrantes estaban bien, aunque tardaron muchísimo en sacarlos. Los segundos platos no llegaron hasta las 17:00 y, para colmo, no salieron a la vez, teniendo que esperar unos por otros. El salón estaba saturado, no se podía ni pasar entre las mesas, con un ruido insoportable, claramente porque habían metido a más gente de la que el espacio permite. Los camareros muy descoordinados y, en especial, una camarera de coleta y pelo rizado tuvo un trato fatal: borde, contestaciones desagradables y mala actitud, hasta el punto de tener que quejarnos al maître. Además, mientras estábamos allí, se puso a recoger una mesa dando golpes, como molestando a propósito. En resumen: comida bien, pero servicio pésimo, tiempos interminables y un ambiente muy incómodo. Muy caro para el servicio recibido y la espera. No volveré.

I had to call over a waitress from another area just to get our drink order (she was also overwhelmed, but she still served us). We even had to ask another waiter for our coffee. I've been a couple of times, but this last time was a joke. Even the lady at the next table said "unbelievable" when I'd been waiting for the waiter for 10 minutes.
Saturday night dinner, reservations to go and eat a meat barbecue from the two they have on their menu, normal or XL according to the website, also the restaurant is called "the grill of the south". You arrive and they don't do barbecues; instead, they offer ribeye steak at €65/kg :(. We ordered grilled poussin, and it was anything but barbecued, served on a plate with a ton of lemon sauce. Fried eggs with ham tasted more like paprika than ham, and the prawn salad was passable. The only acceptable things were the fried pork belly and the cheesecake; the tiramisu was dry and tasted only of cream, not coffee or mascarpone. We expressed our dissatisfaction to the maître d': their website advertises dishes they no longer prepare (mixed grill, pork loin, Iberian pork shoulder, poussin served as Spanish-style roast chicken...). He apologized several times and offered us a drink as compensation. We won't be back. At €17 for eggs with ham on the terrace and the so-called "grilled poussin" was also €17, there are many places to go that offer better dishes and larger portions for less. It's true that the cheesecake was supposed to have red berries according to the receipt, but it didn't. We felt cheated by what's advertised on the website and the quality/price ratio. Note that the terrace service adds €1 to each dish on the menu. All good news, as you can see.
Directly, some scammers guarantee payment with gourmet checks. Over the phone, they give me the OK that they will accept them without any problems. When it comes to paying, they deny them and tear up the complaint form until the national and municipal police arrive. Very fair quality at a golden price in the industrial estate of Vallecas. The waiters are not to blame for the boss's very poor manners and arrogance. I filed a complaint, of course.
Terrible service, terrible food, they don't follow instructions regarding the meat's cooking. The waitresses are super attentive and friendly, BUT the host is top-notch in customer service. I've eaten there three times now, so I'm going to give it a try, and each time I leave more disappointed. They told me the meat was well done. And as you can see, the meat is raw. I understand everyone's tastes, but I'll see if I order it WELL DONE because I don't want raw meat... The dessert was supposed to be apple puff pastry, and as you can see in the video, it's anything but puff pastry; it looks like watery apple paste... I definitely WON'T RETURN.
I ate there today, sorry to say I didn't like it. The baby squid was bad, it wasn't clean. The grilled shrimp wasn't very fresh, and I'm used to eating shrimp. I'm not saying it was bad, but it wasn't up to par for the price either. The pork rind was good, maybe a little over-fried. For the meat, we ordered sliced beef tenderloin for two, and it had no flavor. In fact, we left the meat behind. For dessert, tiramisu and the cake were dry. We've eaten there several times; the service is always mediocre to bad, but the meat was good. The last time was on Friday, and we ordered grilled baby squid and a grilled ribeye steak... The portion of squid was literally five squid, and not cheap at all, by the way. I've attached a photo. We complained to the manager, and he told us that's all they had. Restaurant too expensive for the food they serve... Very, very EXPENSIVE and with average service. They told us to order the aged beef steak (never order it). First they brought us the fries and 20 minutes later the aged beef... be careful, the €75 includes a huge bone! Sliced beef loin is much better. Order this dish, not the aged beef. Cuttlefish was the laugh when three pitiful little cuttlefish came for €18. Fish-farmed sea bass fillet from the small, medium-sized fish farm... well, that's all... RAFF tomato, well, nothing more, it tastes a bit like tomato. I WON'T RETURN
I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. Honestly, the service was terrible. We pointed out that we didn't like the appetizer they FORCED us to pay for (which isn't legal), a small, cheap glass of salmorejo, and both the waitress and the maître d', whom we called over, rudely told us that we had to pay for it, no matter what. They left us no choice but to leave. The General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007), Article 96, states: "It is prohibited to send or supply to the consumer and user goods or services not requested by them when they involve a demand for payment." This means that if they bring you an appetizer or bread that you didn't order and don't tell you the price before serving it, they can't charge you for it. Even if it's on the menu, they serve it to you before you can see it and give you whatever they want without knowing if you have any allergies or not.
