My wife and I stopped by for quiet drink on a Sunday night. The place was fairly busy with people eating and drinking. The food and drink was good, they had a good selection all-round. There was a group of ladies that were quite lively and were dancing and talking to everyone. Suddenly, out of nowhere everybody starting dancing and singing and everyone was partying. It was quite something to watch. The party was such that people from the street wanted to come in and join but the staff had to lock us in to contain the situation. What a great place! This was one of the best night I ever had.

We had an absolutely lovely visit here, Seth great food and even better service, all in a less-touristy location. We had the menu-de-dia (lunch menu) with three beers, and the total bill was Euro 40 (April 2024). The beer came with tapas, and the menu with three courses, and we left very full and satisfied.

I had the opportunity to try Cocido madrileño for the first time and I loved it! Apart from the food, I found that the waitress here is very engaging, cheerful and explains the menu quite well - what a great service! As for the place, it has a rustic but casual feel to it and centrally located. Not sure why people are complaining about the price because it was cheap to averagely priced. I would definitely recommend this place!

3.5 star??? Must be a joke. Absolutely everything was excellent. From the way we were served to the food. This is a hidden gem and the reviews are not reflecting how good this place is. Loved it!

Fuimos por recomendación , el lugar súper simpático, la atención es muy buena. Fuimos con mí pareja y nos pedimos paella que nos encantó ( pudo haber estado un poco más caliente) y rabo de toro que también nos gustó mucho. Probamos también un pan tostado con tomate y anchoas y nos encantó! Súper fresco. Lo recomiendo.

Hoy menú del día. El arroz estaba bien hecho pero comprimido en una fuente y con escaso pollo y verduras. La carne al Pedro Ximenez bien elaborada pero escasa. La salsa cremosa al enfriarse se solidifica... y en general la comida fría. El pan es muy común. Lo salvan el café y la tarta de manzana muy buenos. Eso sí; poca variedad. De postre sólo ofrecieron tarta de manzana o manzana asada. Pero insisto, el sitio es agradable. Quizá haya que probar otras cosas... o ir a otra hora. No hubo suerte

This is close to my hotel and I have stopped here a few times for breakfast. They brew a good cup of coffee. I enjoyed the fresh empanadas and tortilla de Patata that was recommended by the young waitress who spoke a little bit of English. Prices are reasonable.

This restaurant serves big portions. Maybe they are better for sharing. The food was quite tasty. However, I am a meatball expert and have eaten better. The service was friendly.

Tuvimosla suerte de poder hacer una merienda-cena en Nochevieja, que todo cierra, allí no, aunque los precios estaban bastante elevados. El ambiente es bueno, el personal amable, y la estética de típica taberna rústica. La bravas estaban buenas, con salsa de bote, eso sí. El provolone muy bueno, aunque el tomate era frito de tetabrik, y no entiendo que el plato no lo acompañen de pan o palitos, lo tienes que pedir y pagar aparte, y por lo que cobran por el provolone ya podrían incluir una rebanadas. La tosta de pimientos y queso de cabra estaba buena también, aunque el queso yo suponía que seria en rodajas y ligeramente atemperador, y en cambio era rayado y no se apreciaba demasiado el sabor. Los pimientos del piquillo, las croquetas, etc... Todo tenía buena pinta, aunque no lo comimos, a 4€ la croqueta me pareció exagerado, por mucho que fuera fin de año. En general quedamos contentos, nos gustó bastante y sgradecermos haber podido censr esa noche, pero hay algunos detalles en los platos que se pueden mejorar. Pero en general la recomendaría, y la ubicación es excelente.

No pongo un cero porque no hay. Insultos, degradación, robo y estafa. Le cobraron a mi pareja el doble de cantidad y no se la devolvieron. Nos insultaron a la cara. La camarera se puso muy agresiva, casi pega a una amiga. Además, Pésima comida, la ensaladilla estaba podrida. Que cierren el bar es lo mejor que pueden hacer.

Tienen la fama del dueño anterior. NO FIARSE!!! Nos han puesto comida en mal estado (la ensaladilla estaba amarilla y sabía a metal). A la hora de cobrarnos tenían 2 datáfonos y no leían la tarjeta supuestamente. Pagamos en efectivo y resulta que habían cobrado dos veces). Nos quejamos que habían cobrado dos veces y empezaron a decir vulgarmente palabras insultantes maleducadamente delante de los clientes. No volveremos, nos trataron fatal.

Unfortunately the worst meal I’ve ever had on holiday. Every meal was awful. The bread was hard like cardboard, the pork overcooked, the chips tasted like old potatoes. Sorry but they really need to look at what they’re serving and improve what ingredients they are using. As well, expensive for what it was.

An absolute disaster! The food was clearly reheated in the microwave and tasted awful. Charging €8.50 for a beer is just outrageous—I’ve never paid that much for a beer in my entire life. The service? Practically non-existent. You’re rushed in and out as quickly as possible, with no care or hospitality. The atmosphere is cold and unwelcoming. We paid over €50 for two people for food that wasn’t even close to being worth it. I strongly advise everyone to stay far away from this place.

Bread was stale, house wine was of low quality, meatballs were cold in the middle (reheated) and we found two hairs in our callos dish. The manager blamed us for the two hairs found in the dish, and was yelling in front of the entire restaurant when simply asked to remove it from the bill
