Un descubrimiento fantástico al lado de Gran Vía. Fuimos dos adultos y una niña de 10 años y comimos de maravilla por menos de 40 € en total. Es una casa de comidas auténtica, de las que ya quedan pocas en el centro. Tuvimos suerte y al llegar no tuvimos que esperar, pero se llenó en un momento y al salir ya había gente esperando fuera en la calle. El servicio es muy rápido; hay varios camareros y son realmente eficientes. Pedimos huevos rotos con gulas, croquetas de pollo, berenjenas rebozadas y un filete de hígado. Todo con sabor casero y raciones generosas. Mención especial a los postres: la tarta de manzana y la de galleta con caramelo estaban riquísimas. Si buscas comida real a un precio imbatible en el centro de Madrid, este es el sitio. ¡Volveremos seguro!

Muy contentos con este redtaurante sencillo, que ofrece precios muy coherentes y asequibles en relación a su calidad. Precios que no veía desde antes de 2020... El entrecot y la sepia deliciosos y frescos. Ideal para los que estamos cansados de comer comidas y tapas de cadenas o franquicias y nos apetecen platos sencillos.

Un sitio perfecto para comer en Madrid,la verdad es que a nosotras nos atendieron al momento, lo malo es que nos sentaron en las mesas de la entrada y cuando se abría la puerta nos entraba muchísimo frío y a parte que la gente que esperaba para sentarse nos miraban como comíamos y estábamos un poco incómodas, eso es lo único negativo de nuestra visita. La comida buena y tienen varios menús. Si estás por Madrid, pásate y comerás "rico" y a un buen precio.

Hemos comido allí dos días y hemos probado los huevos rotos con gulas, guisantes con jamón, entrecot con patatas, dorads con ensalada, rabo de toro, flan y tarta de queso. Todo es casero y está buenísimo (además de ser muy económico). Recomendamos ir pronto, ya que se suelen formar colas para poder entrar. No obstante, abren desde la 13:00 hasta las 00:00. La espera merece mucho la pena!

Una experiencia excelente de principio a fin. La atención fue muy cálida y cercana, y el servicio realmente impecable. La comida se llevó todos los aplausos: el pulpo a la gallega estaba en su punto perfecto y la paella de mariscos, abundante y llena de sabor. Se nota la calidad de los ingredientes y el cuidado en la preparación. El ambiente es súper acogedor, ideal para disfrutar una comida tranquila y sentirse a gusto. Sin dudas lo recomiendo y volvería feliz en mi próxima visita a Madrid.

This is a great restaurant. Service was excellent, and the food was amazing. The Mixed seafood Paella was super good. Wine was great and inexpensive, and they have many options for desserts. A hidden gem, this restaurant is top notch.

This was a little gem of a restaurant that I learned about in the Rick Steves guidebook. We went there for dinner on the last night of our Spain trip and loved it so much it's the only restaurant I'm writing a review for even though we went to many during 2 weeks in Spain. The food was outstanding with large generous portions, and the prices unbeatable for what you get. There was an old lady there who seemed to be in charge of things walking around and giving some nice "abuelita" vibes. Overall contributed to the homestyle family atmosphere here. Just look at our feast and the small bottle of wine was only like 5 Euros. Absolutely recommend!

We visited this restaurant at 3:00 PM on a Sunday, and it was extremely busy. We had to wait in line for approximately 10–15 minutes before being seated. The restaurant is quite small, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere, though it can get quite crowded and noisy. Our server spoke English, which was greatly appreciated and made our experience much smoother. The food was outstanding—everything we tried was delicious and well-prepared. The only minor drawback was that at the end of our meal, we were given a different menu than the one we initially received. It included a "menu of the day," which we were not informed about beforehand. While this was a small oversight, it would have been helpful to know about all the available options. Aside from this, our experience was excellent, and we would highly recommend this restaurant for its fantastic food and welcoming service.

Although the restaurant is small and can get crowded, we were fortunate enough to be seated quickly once it was our turn. Amazing place. Authentic cuisine that is out of the way enough of the main street not to be full of tourists. Very recommended. Food is authentic, delicious and also at very good prices. There is a very wide selection of plates to choose from, with starters, mains and desserts. You can even create your own 3 courses for a reduced price with drinks included . Good selection of drinks, they offer their own house wine at very good prices compared to other restaurants. This restaurant really appreciates value for money, it is very worth it to come here. We were very satisfied.

The price of food here is ridiculously low! This place serves food that has a family cooked taste. I went there for 2 dinners in a row not because it's cheap but because I love family run restaurants that serve sincerely cooked food. There is nothing I ordered over the 2 days that are not great. The service staff are warm and friendly but they are usually overwhelmed by the large crowd this place attracts.

This is a must-try in Madrid. Everything is so tasty. The owner will take good care of you, working among the staff, and he is super friendly and a lovely host. You can build your own combination or order from the menu. It is really famous among locals and always packed. Amazing prices with high quality and so tasty. Don't forget the huge jar of Sangria (only 8 euros), which can take care of 3-4 people. Thanks, guys, and keep up the fantastic work! We will do our best to come one more time tomorrow before our flight.

A very enjoyable experience. It was so cheap we had 3 courses each and each one had such a delicious homely feel to it. I found the Iberian steak in particular to have a unique delicious flavour to it, I was very surprised how they managed to keep such a thin piece of meat pink inside and it was so good.

Amazing local delicious authentic Spanish food! We popped in because their high rating and we cod see why! Everything was full of flavor and delicious! Friendly staff, delicious meals, fresh bread and oil to dip in! Seafood Chicken Mix Paella Garlic Shrimp Veggies Sangria 5 Stars! Highly recommend!

“Nada es imposible” sería mi titular. En pleno centro de Madrid, precios irrisorios. NO ADMITEN RESERVAS y el local no es muy grande. Hay que hacer fila SÍ o SÍ pero MERECE LA PENA. De lo que pedimos el entrecot es lo que menos me gustó. Los postres MUY BUENOS. Es un MUST del CENTRO de Madrid

Los Menús son súper económicos la comida excelente y el personal te atiende de maravilla. Llega temprano porque siempre está lleno, por lo bueno y barato

Aunque ha cambiado muchísimo desde el antaño y mítico Puerto Rico donde tenías una carta infinita de platos caseros por cuatro duros, que lo hacía especialmente atractivo para guiris inquietos y visitantes de Madrid de todas partes, el sitio sigue siendo recomendable.

I went there for some dessert at 9pm. People were still lining up at this time. Seems to be a popular place for local folks as well. Prices were reasonable and serving people were nice. They seem to be a family run. I wish I had tried their main dishes but i was not that hungry. Maybe next time, will try their grilled sword fish.

Stopped here when we were walking by and saw a long line outside & looked up the reviews. It was good but in all honesty Spanish food in general is not wow. This little lunch spot was busy with mostly locals and the food I’d say was a great value!

Located in the downtown area of Madrid, but hidden in the small streets, Puerto Rico is a restaurant that is preferred by tourists and locals. The line for the restaurant, in my opinion, is misleading that the place could probably provide very good food. But unfortunately, my taste buds were not satisfied. Although the welcoming staff and the rustic atmosphere sat us in a mood for homemade-like food, the taste was disappointing for my preferences. The food was bland and not seasoned well. Besides that, the service was excellent and the food came out fast and steaming hot, regardless the full capacity of the restaurant. Something that surprised me (in a positive way) was that their prices are affordable. So, if you are looking for fulfilling your foodie needs, you better skip this place, but if you are just hungry and would like to have a meal at a very reasonable price in the downtown of Madrid, give it a try. We were aiming for a good place with traditional food. In 10PM we didn’t have much options and this place was the only one in the area that didn’t seem like a fast food restaurant.
