Was working in the area and decided to try this place out. Home style comfort food would be the best way to describe it. Service was excellent drink cup stayed full even offered Togo cup. Food was great, hot and fresh. The fried okra was the best I've ever had in my opinion. Tasted like they made it from fresh okra ,not frozen will be back up there again this week an will definitely stop back by. Keep up the great work.

Way better than expected. Small hole in the wall joint in Magnolia and I was happily surprised. The food was great..nothing on our plates tasted bad. Recommend dropping in. Good prices and good food. Servers were helpful and quick. The atmosphere was dark, the lighting was bad and the floor could have used a good sweep but otherwise I would recommend it.

My brunch was fantastic and the portion size definitely surprised me. Everything was cooked perfectly. I visited around noon and was seated immediately. The staff was very attentive and my waitress was super nice and friendly. The atmosphere itself is relaxed and the dining room is large with lots of seating and very clean. Magnolia Diner was exactly what I was looking for. Can’t wait to return and try the Reuben sandwich.

Great small- town traditional diner. Nestled in the heart of "old-town" Magnolia, the Magnolia Diner checks all the boxes for your traditional diner experience. The atmosphere sports a retro-cinematic theme, with impressive murals of classic movie characters surrounding the walls. Our group selected a variety of menu options including the eggs Benedict, pork chops, and omelet breakfast meals. All the dishes were hearty and satisfying. Very attentive wait staff, serving with a pleasant demeanor.

We went here about an hour before closing. The waiting staff were polite, the food came out fast and hot. It was all around a good diner experience. The best thing that we ate was the chicken fried steak and the grilled broccoli. Wasn’t too impressed with the onion rings or sausage but the other food was good and the service was great. We’ll be going here again and I can’t wait to try their desserts.

Ate there today. I think they are known for breakfast. Avoid the pork chops, green beans and instant potatoes. Not worth the money for sure. Tasted like hospital food.

The food is pretty good, but the coffee is always terrible unfortunately. I don’t know if the machine hasn’t been cleaned in 10 years or if they don’t know how to use it 😑. If you’re someone who enjoys a nice satisfying cup of joe this is not the place as much as I wish it was

We wanted to give this place the benefit of a doubt. Tried it twice. Once for breakfast and once for dinner. Breakfast was very bland. Absolutely no salt. Dinner was awful. We both felt like our chicken fried chicken was old. The best thing on their menu is the garlic toast! The water tastes like the way their bathroom smells which is like sewage water. The salad was brown and the coleslaw was wilted and tasted awful. It was hot! The chocolate shake was oddly warm. Should've learned our lesson the first time. Especially since the breakfast service was shitty and our waiter was complaining to us about a lot of things... He only checked on us once and never brought us anything we asked for. We ended up having to get it from other waitstaff. We won't be back.

This place used to be a good diner for home cooked meals. The past three times now it has been horrible. Most recent visit in the evening, onion rings that were obviously frozen from a bag, tasted awful. BLT that was just thrown together on plain white bread like something a child would make. Hamburger patti that seemed as if it was from a frozen pack of premade patties. Super thin and dry. No flavor. Then the worst cole slaw. Obviously spoiled. When I told the staff member he just giggled and said I guess I can tell them. So I paid for literally spoiled food. There are many other places where my money will spend and it will never be here again. How sad that a local spot such as this has went so far down in quality and service.

Been coming here for years and I’ve always loved it. I have left positive reviews in the past. I just had a roach on my table after having awful service also. Went and told a guy. He came and killed it with his hand and went back to work. Didn’t wash ihis hands. Didn’t disinfect the table. Nothing. Still took them 10 minutes to get my husband the bill after we had them come get the Roach off our table. I will not be back after having a roach on my table. I walked out. I wasn’t sitting at a table with roaches. We should have both walked out. I am so disgusted. I am also disgusted with the way they handled it Never again and I am Calling the health department
