Zach’s Pizzeria

My favorite pizzeria in Mahopac! The staff is really friendly, great environment, plenty of seating, parking and delicious food. Salads are always fresh and they have Italian ices!!!! My family and I look foward to ordering from Zach’s on pizza Fridays.

Zachs pizza is in a great location off of 6north.The Pizza is pretty good. I buy it all the time. His garlic knots are my sons favorite. Well worth trying compared to the others in the area.

Last night I looked at your delivery menu thinking I would order a pasta. However, your Angus burger sounded so good I ordered it and it was one of the best I've had. I will order some Italian next time but whenever I yearn for a burger I will order yours.

So happy they opened and the pizza reminds me of an old fashioned thin crispy slice from back in the day growing up in Yonkers! I ordered dinner one night and the food was done perfectly. Great staff, always kind and courteous!

Best chicken scarp I’ve ever had. BY FAR. Zach’s has the best plain slices too, sauce is full of flavor..perfect amount of cheese and always perfect crust. Best thing about this place is that it is consistent. Definitely recommend!

Best pizza in Putnam county! The owner Zach is always very friendly, as well as the rest of the staff. Highly recommend the chicken scarp slice, it’s impossible for me to go there and not get it!

I moved to Mahopac from Carmel about a year and a half ago, my old go to pizza place in Carmel was Sals Pizza but unfortunately they don’t deliver this far out so I gave Zach’s a try after being continuously disappointed with the other pizzerias in the area. Zach’s Pizza is absolutely delicious, they get it right every single time no matter what you order. Even the employees are fantastic and always very helpful, especially the girls. 10/10 would recommend!!

I had a white slice, my first ever slip since going vegan 7 years ago - and it was worth it. One niece had pepperoni slices, nearly completely covered with spicy goodness, the other one loved the mango Italian ice. The dining room was nice, the chairs substantial and very comfortable. The owner was a pleasure to talk to and told me several of his regular customers were vegans and he makes food customized for them. I will definitely return!

The pizza tasted excellent. We ordered three pizzas and they were done very fast. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. If it was closer to home I would come here more often.

I ordered the zach attach which is always a good deal and the pizzas always taste great. But I ordered a pizza Margherita slice and was kinda disappointed. It wasn't fresh sliced tomatoes with fresh mozzarella or even basil actually no basil on the slice just seasoning. It was kinda of a bummer. What I got was a slice with extra tomatoes sauce and 4 slices of cheese on it again no basil. 5hats the only sad part. But their regular pizza is really good

I wouldn't recommend buying individual slices. I walked in at closing time and the pizza was in plastic wrap on the metal display trays. In my opinion individual slices should never be saved overnight. If slices are being saved I would recommend changing this process and donating/selling the slices at a steep discount around closing time. The full pies are probably fine

You may ask why did I order a salad here, because I was ordering where everyone else was. Also, the croutons... kind of sad, too. A pizzeria should have the tools to make semi decent croutons out of day old bread. Toss diced bread with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, onion, and boom. Bake till crispy brown. Bottom line, don’t go with the salad. Stick with the usual pizza and pasta.

So disappointed, had to wait over a hour for our pizza to be delivered on a Thursday night. Nothing special just a plain cheese pizza. Well not only was it cold when we received it, but it looked like it was dropped too. Will go somewhere else from now on.

I called them today to order pizza, thinking I was calling Zach's Pizza which was the previous establishment, not knowing they had changed hands and that's where Miraggis now was. W recording picked up first telling me this call would be recorded. Oddly intrusive for a pizzeria. They answered the phone abruptly like I was bothering them or I called the wrong number out something. I actually had to ask them if this was a pizzeria that I had called. I felt very awkward. I placed a simple order for 2 pizzas. They didn't seem to understand what I was ordering. When I finally made it clear to them I hung up the phone and they called me back moments later and I couldn't understand what the individual was saying. I cancelled the order because I could only imagine what I would end up picking up. I wasnt ready for that headache. I don't think they will do very well. They won't be getting my business anymore, I'll tell you that.
