Oh my god, by far the best brisket I've ever had. Literally melts in your mouth. Perfectly seasoned. The portions were really generous too. Highly, highly recommend. Eating outside was so nice too, such a cute town.

Come for the brisket, stay for the sweet potato fries. When you order brisket, you're asked if you want the leaner or fatter cut, that's how detailed this establishment is. Mac and cheese is also good. The cornbread is moist and flavorful. Very good selection of drinks. I'd definitely think about returning whenever I pass by the area.

I’m from Texas, and this place does not disappoint! The briskets were super moist and juicy, with a true southern taste. Their ribs are so tasty, the meat literally fell off the bones. The bbq sauce was ok, but mixing it with their Buffalo sauce brought the taste to another level. Great atmosphere!!

Great food and great service! Definitely try the thighs or if wings are more your jam then do with both sauces. The Mac and cheese is great, even the kale Cesar salad tastes good (corn bread croutons yumm). Good beer and liquor selection too!

I happened to stumble upon this place looking for someplace to eat while my son was visiting his mother. I started off with the house lemonade, which was ehh, more or less sugar water but I won't judge this restaurant off of that. But their food, is life changing. I've had bbq up and down the whole east coast and this place takes the cake. The chicken and the ribs were so tender but when you get to the house made bbq sauce....it will bring tears to your eyes. I have never tasted a sauce so unique and elegant that I needed to bring it home with me. Run to this restaurant, I live on Long Island and will be a regular here.

Okay so for our pre Mother's Day lunch I was at this fabulous Smokehouse restaurant. A friend and I order the platter for two which was on the size of a carving board that you would put a 12 lb turkey on...everything on That plater was totally succulent! Top Chef!! ingredients: beans had some kind of pulled pork in it, the yams had a little Char on them the lemonade the ribs the pesto the chicken the cornbread yeah it should have been for three because that's how much food it was. $50 for all that food and we were totally pleased. I can't eat another thing tonight. I will have dessert though but I'm totally stuffed and that was around 1 this afternoon and I'm writing this review about 7 and I'm still stuffed will be going back.. thank you smoke house!!!

Went on a Wednesday which is their brisket special night. Ordered their brisket sandwiched in Texas Toast with mozzarella and grilled onion... mmm-good. Was planning on getting beer since they seem to have a nice selection, but when I saw the vast variety of bourbon, how can I not go for that (and even kicked it off with a flight).

Great place! Home made-like bbq burgers; quality meat and produce. Nice atmosphere with American background music that does not interfere with the table conversations. Come and support a local family owned business.

My first time at Smokehouse Tailgate Grill. I had the Fried Little Thighs and the Brisket empanadas. I loved the crust on the empanadas, and the thighs were good. I liked the white sauce that it came with. It tasted like mayo.

Smokehouse has become a family favorite. We went on a beautiful day and sat outside on the picnic tables. My picky 5 year old ate everything that we put in front of her - I was so proud of her for trying new foods and she loved everything she tried. The brisket empanadas, cornbread and mac and cheese are amazing. I normally get the bacon egg and cheese burger (I didn't see it on their menu this time) which is my favorite but this time I tried the pulled pork and it was so good. My husband had the jerk brisket tacos and he was raving about them. Every time we come here the staff is so nice - this time especially. We picked a picnic table that was in the shade when we first sat down but by the time we ordered our food it was almost completely in the sun and it was super hot that day. Our waitress asked if we wanted to move because we had our 5 year old and 3 month old and of course we said yes. I was so happy that she asked us. Anyway.. 1000/10 we love this spot so much.

So happy we went here for lunch today. Had the brisket sandwich with squash. EXCELLENT. I took pictures of finished plates. They have an extensive beer list.

This place is awesome. The portions are big and they have one of the best tasting steaks I have every had in NY. Staff is also friendly ( a plus).

I'm say the food and the service was very good. But the only complaint I got is. When the waitress brought the bill. She added a 27 % tip , be herself. My girlfriend automatically cleared that, we still gave her a good tip in cash. It makes me wonder if she's trying to pull a fast one on customers. So I'll definitely keep an eye on her next time. SO AT THE END , Check your bill carefully there.

I’ve been there on two different occasions. Sat and Sun the same weekend. Not much of the expert on smoked food but I liked it a lot. Place is not big but not small either, staff was welcoming and attentive enough. Food was tasty and there was plenty. Platter for 2 fed me, my wife and my daughter. Brisket was tasty and tender, corn bread very delicious, not much sweet but tender. Pulled pork tacos (2pcs) were enough to get one full. I really hope they keep the quality on an ongoing basis. I gave 4* only because I want to see where they can go from here.

I come here on Wednesdays for the brisket burnt ends. Girlfriend gets the pulled pork. Always a great meal!

My friend and I came here on a Sunday night two weeks ago. We both had the ribs, which were fantastic. We ordered the white bbq wings, which he said he gets every time he goes. The sauce was delicious. The chicken on the wings was good too. The cornbread was awesome!

Loved the smokehouse in Mamaroneck, NY! The brisket was tender and had a solid bark. Their mac and cheese was flavorful & was very satisfied with everything on this platter. After ordering online and being impressed with the food a couple weeks later we decided to go to the restaurant for football sunday. The staff was great, the person behind the bar was awesome and most importantly the food was on point. Its nice to know there is a place in the area you can get quality barbecued/smoke food.

Easy 5 stars. I travel from Yonkers to Plattsburgh for work, and I’m constantly in search of great food that I can return to when I’m in different areas. I just so happened to park outside of SmokeHouse and was planning a n visiting another restaurant in the area based on review score. I decided to stop in here instead and was very happy I did. The service was personable, drinks were on-point and the flavors were phenomenal. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area. Thanks for the great experience!

My daughter and I really enjoyed the barbecue food here. I had the brisket and she had the pulled pork both were really good. The cornbread has a drizzle of agave butter which is really delicious. The mac and cheese is made with yellow cheese which was really good. I had the homemade coleslaw which is made with peppers, I enjoyed it. I recommend this place, I'll check it out again.

This place is bomb. You want a great beer with wings and your favorite sporting event on tv right in front of you, pay SmokeHouse a visit. Pictured are the juice bomb beer, paired with wingfast flavored wings, blistered shishito peppers with honey dipping sauce and Mexican street corn. I left this place super satisfied after a quick lunch on Mamaroneck Avenue. Pay this spot a visit if you can.

There is no way you can go wrong here. The service was top notch and the food INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS. Their wings are on my top 3 (and I’ve had my fair share). You can choose from either sauce (spicy or sweet- or a mix of both). They’re so good you can have them plain. Yep, I said it. The brisket tacos were tasty, the ribs tender and sweet, the cornbread like a smooth buttery cloud, the wings yum- everything here is great.

Was searching for a spot after initially visiting Half Time. The smoke pulled pork is served on a slightly crunchy brioche bun, topped with pickles and red onions and served with a side of fries and what looked like a homemade coleslaw. Delicious. The tomahawk burger was really juicy, cooked well, also toasted brioche, thinly sliced crispy onions on top and some mushroom-like jam. Tap beers: Industrial Arts Pocket Wrench was good but not much of the Lunch Beer Maine Beer Co IPA. Service was overall great.

Outstanding BBQ place and great service. Friday evening and the place was very busy. We were seated right away, food was quick to come and the beers were ice cold. I had the brisket sandwich with Mac N Cheese, she had a pulled chicken sandwich also with Mac N Cheese. Everything was beyond delicious, it’s our new favorite bbq place. Taish was our waitress and she was awesome, checking on us every chance she had. Definitely recommended.

DELICIOUS! I haven't been to Smokehouse since the old one in New Rochelle like 7 years ago, and the food still holds up! Got the Buffalo Chicken Dip as an appetizer. It was really flavorful and a good amount for a couple people to share. I strongly recommend this. Wrapped up with the Breakfast burger (Recommend adding Avocado for some of that SoCal flavoring haha) with a side of Mac and Cheese. Burger was great, egg was runny, bun was toasted, the only thing missing was a dash of salt and healthy amount of pepper. I didn't ask for Hot Sauce, but in retrospect, it would have supplemented it well. Mac and Cheese was also quite good. I love that they use Penne, instead of Elbows and the sprinkling of bacon bits was a great added touch. Again, only thing needed was a dash of pepper and it was great. Staff was super courteous, attentive and friendly. Food came out pretty quick, literally nothing to complain about there. Pricing is not out of line, I would say I definitely got good value for my buck. Parking is metered street parking, so not too difficult. I definitely recommend this place for a nice meal to hang with some friends. Side note: They also sell T-Shirts. I'm the kind of person that likes to collect T-Shirts from all over, specifically places I love, so I was happy to see they have (a few actually) them.

Nice selection of drinks. Warm, friendly, and funky atmosphere (industrial chic). Food was amazing! We had the tailgate wings and I couldn't stop raving about how good it was. The wings are served with slices of lime, which brings out the seasoning of the wings. The ribs were so tender that when I picked them up with my hands, they literally fell off the bone. The DIY pulled pork was delicious, moist, and tender. Lastly, the cold brew soaked bread pudding was not overly sweet but tasty. I highly recommend and I will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu!

Great service at Mamaroneck location. The waitress was very friendly; very attentive. I love the vibe of this place. They have a nice bar with sports channels to chill back and have a beer (or two or three lol). The food was absolutely amazing. I had a table of 8 with me and we all ordered different things. Everyone was so happy with their meal. I love the blueberry beer. Definitely can't wait to go back.

We had lunch here today during the town's St. Patrick's Day parade and it was pretty lively with lots of kids, babies and TVs showing sports. The atmosphere is inviting and the service is friendly and accommodating. They have a varied menu that should appeal to pretty much anyone but the food itself was very average.

Great place with a nice fun atmosphere. The food can be a little inconsistent tho. But its never bad. For example I get the Pork Belly Sandwhich every time I go. Sometimes its excellent and sometimes its just pretty good. But always tasty. Good beer selection and a GREAT fully stocked bar with nasty drinks. The wait staff is always friendly. Good place for dinner and a few drinks with friends.

Everything was very good, except the brisket was a little dry but to be fair, it was the end of the night. Otherwise, the ribs, the mac, the cornbread, the street corn and everything else we ordered was on point. Service was great and enjoyed the relaxed vibe.

We went tonight after an early movie. Nice night so we sat outside. The hostess was very accommodating and sat us quickly. She took our drink order to save the waitress some time. This was great. We ordered apps and dinner. The food was good not great. Tasty and served efficiently. Our waitress did get lost for a bit and other wait staff attended to us, which is fine. Just worth noting. We will be back.

Food was good the best was the ribs , I was disappointed with the brisket when I got it was barely warm and dry. Everything else was good, now the brisket empanadas DELICIOUS . nice atmosphere clean bathrooms nice little place .

Went for the first time yesterday we LOVED the food. We brought our dog so it was nice to be able to sit outside with her. Our waitress was great and provided excellent service. I gave service a three only because getting seated took a very long time even though there were several tables open outside and only one other group in line ahead of us. When it was time to get seated the hostess didnt escort us to the table and just pointed to it. We had to get lur own menus and eventually we got plates but no silverware. Our waitress rectified that almost immediately but the rest if the staff seemed to be either overwhelmed or just moving really slow. We watched 3 people (including the hostess) clean a table for the family ahead of us and it took them more then 5 minutes to do so.

Hit the right spot. Was searching the area looking for a new place to try and came upon this place. Looked interesting and I wanted to try it - was glad I did. The menu is smaller, but enough and great choices. I settled on the brisket empanadas for an appetizer. I honestly could've eaten a bucket of these as they were that good. The 'nada sauce was fine, but you don't need it either. They have a good drink selection and had Mexican Coke (and Sprite)! If you haven't ever tried Mexican Coke, I'd strongly recommend it. Superior to American Coke for sure. For the main course, I went with the reliable burger - in this case, the 'house double'(w/ a side). I added bacon, because why not. Burger was very tasty and something I'd easily have again, though there were enough options on the menu that I'd also love to try. Alana was excellent. Friendly, welcoming, attentive, and a pleasure. Simply outstanding all around. The place is small, but comfortable. 3 booths and several tables - a bar if you want to sit there. Several TVs as well. There is another location in New Rochelle (the first one actually). Parking is metered street. There is a 2 hour limit on the meters (that only accepts quarters), so make sure you keep track. There's also an app, but I didn't download it. Place is nice and one I intend to return to. If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend it.

Good service. Relaxing vibe. Lackluster food. Reservation was smooth through Google/Resy. We were a party of 2 and were seated right away upon arrival. The waitress was friendly and attentive throughout. The place was pleasant, dimly lit, and a little noisy but not in a bad way. We ordered shishito peppers for appetizers, and ribs and briskets for BBQ. Everything was perfectly cooked, but bland. The brisket in particular was nice and juicy, and would have been so much better if it was seasoned more to bring out the flavor. All in all a disappointment since we had high expectations after reading the great reviews.

Beer is good. Meat is fine although I hoped it could be served hot. Not sure why it felt lukewarm especially we needed to wait a while before it was brought to table.

Completely underwhelmed! The sauce had very little flavor. I got this from a recipe blog about St Louis ribs. "St. Louisian's have been pouring a slight sweet, slightly tart, mildly spicy red sauce on barbecue since 1926." It was none of those things. The wings sauce was orange, not red and gave my husband the gurgles. The fries were good and they were gluten free. The waitress /server was nice but the greeter was too busy chatting with some girls to greet us or to care. No reason to go back! The pictures are better than the food!

The service and decor were lovely and were really on par with a smokehouse. The food was good. In my opinion the only thing I was not a fan of (and this might be specific to me and the person I went with) but some of the food was very sweet and overly sauced. The seasoning and quality of meat was a bit overshadowed by the sweet sauces used. If you like saucy BBQ though this might be a great place to try out.

Nice clean place. Parking was easy on mamaroneck...surprisingly for an afternoon weekday...food was OK. Wings with agave were outstanding. Mashed potato was food. Pulled pork somewhat bland but red onion added crunch. It's a challenging time but disappointed sandwiches were not warm. Ribs were just ribs with sauce.

My family and I went on a Friday night and there was live music which was nice. We sat outside to eat on picnic style benches. The server was great and there was a nice drink selection but the food was pretty bland. I had the mikes hot honey chicken sandwich. The bread was good and the chicken was fried perfectly but it was unseasoned. The hot honey did not cover all of the chicken. Only the center of the chicken had it. I didn’t taste the hot honey until I almost finished the sandwich, which was disappointing. My wife and son said their sandwiches were bland as well. Nice spot but I wouldn’t eat there again as the food was pretty unremarkable.

Cool atmosphere and decent beer selection (not bad but nothing to write home about). I had the jerk brisket tacos with a side of baked beans. The beans looked like a bucket of water fell into them and were tasteless as a result. I mentioned this to the server who apologized but there was no comp offer. The tacos were alright but found the brisket pieces in them to be quite fatty. Overall it was fine but probably won’t be back.

Waiter was over encumbered with work wish he had more help. Helped others before us. Our food was below our expectations. the pulled pork was barely shredded just hunks of pork roast, without any sauce either. when we got the sauce it tasted like a turkey gravy almost. Ended up spending over 60$ for 2 people and left unsatisfied. The other food was decent. but the pulled pork and service was disappointing.

Giving two stars for the food. The appetizer was horribly oily, we took a bite and couldn’t eat it. The rack was dry, fairly cold and not well seasoned. Truly disappointing! Our waitress was very nice and provided good service. Will not go back!

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience tonight with an order we called in for delivery. We ordered 2 House Burgers for delivery. Our order was delivered late and was incorrect. We received only 1 meal. When the Smokehouse was called to question where our delivery was - we were told the driver was contacted and we're waiting for him to pick up your order for delivery. It is not the drivers' fault. After the order was delived, we called Smoehouse to inform them of their mistake. The manager who we spoke to had a very flippant attitude. This is not the way to do business. Tonight is the second time we ordered from Smokehouse and this happened. It's unfortunate, because they used to be top notch place to order good food for delivery. We will not be ordering from Smokehouse again.

It was pick-up. I walked in and near the end of the night. A person standing at a table before the bar was just doing that. I stood behind her thinking she may have been waiting as well. Then she started talk to staff who came from the back. I then walked to the bar. Later I saw her behind the podium At the entrance. Afterward A woman appeared from the back to the bar. I ordered the pull pork and brisket sandwiches with market vegetables. The pull pork tasted flavorless and the consistency smelled very chewy. I took a couple of bites and discarded the sandwich. The brisket with mozzarella and bacon was better. The toast was a great compliment to the sandwich and appeared better tasting than the bun with the pull pork. The market vegetables were something I would not order again.

Eh I was so excited for this place. There isn’t a lot of BBQ places around us so when I tell you I was excited I was EXCITED! We ordered after spending close to $70 you’d expect the ribs to be tasty. We ordered ribs, wings and cornbread. I’ll start from best to worst. Wings: they were tasty and I wouldn’t say they were the best wings but compared to everything else this was flavorful Cheddar cornbread: hmm nkt sure where the cheddar was but this reminded us of a corn muffin it was sweet and not what we’d expect And sadly the ribs: the way they cook it was superb the meat fell off the bone but it was Literally tasteless I was so sad there was no bbq sauce or not even a sprinkle of salt That being said read the reviews and take it into Consideration this is not worth the money

I went to this restaurant a while back, and it was excellent. However, this last time, they definitely fell off. Minimum effort on the food. The ribs looked like they came from a pig that was on a diet. Very little meat on the bones, and very flat. What kind of animal has perfectly flat ribs? Which was ridiculous for the price. I did not eat the food. My guests literally took it home to give to their dogs. The only thing that I enjoyed was the corn bread, which is basic corn bread. I do not recommend this restaurant. The servers were good, and that was really the only highlight.

Waited 10 minutes for our server to come over and take a drink order. Then they forget one member of our parties drink and they had to wait another 10 minutes. When our food arrived they forgot part of our order and there wasn't enough silverware on the table so we once again had to wait. Overall a very disappointing experience. We won't be returning.

Where do I start! Jerk tacos, tasted nothing like jerk. Brisket no char, no taste. Chicken some taste but undercooked (pink inside). Ribs no taste! Beans were ok. Mac and cheese basic, what made it worst was the ziti noodles they used. Corn bread, ok. Payed $2 for a tiny cup of barbecue sauce that was terrible. I could have gotten a bottle of sauce from the market. Pick up was smooth, I can say that. But the barbeque itself was terrible! $105 for food that ended in the trash!

This is not the SmokeHouse you're looking for. Not a good smoking process, doesn't taste like anything you'd find outside of this part of the country. Odd taste and texture to the cornbread, mac and cheese made with ziti rigati, though it wasn't bad. The problem is with the meats. I don't know what they're smoking with, but it's virtually flavorless once you get past the 'out of the refrigerator/warmed up pork' flavor. Second, it was cold, though it's logistically difficult to bring 'fresh out of the smoker' hot barbecue to a table– it could be warm enough to be appetizing. My order was on the cold side of lukewarm. It really is a pity because it's not far from home and I was expecting it to be at least as good as the service. The girls working there are doing a fine job for whoever the owner is. But they can't makeup for lousy, kind of cold BBQ. They need somebody who knows how to smoke and flavor meat Southern American Style.

I had chicken wings, brisket and pastrami with cornbread and mac cheese. Mac and cheese was awful. Pastrami was hard and not good. The portion size was tiny! Shame on this restaurant for serving people this. Brisket was good. Chicken wings were good. No normal vegetables served. Not worth the money. Would not go back.

Went there for lunch today. Food appeared good but was cold. We sent it back they bought a back out and it was room temperature Mind u it was only 60° outside, so yes it was still cold. We didn’t even eat it. We took it to go and threw it in the garbage at the corner as we walk to our car. Very disappointing spent over $100 in his restaurant couldn’t even get a decent meal.

This was my first time coming here, the hamburger was so tiny it was smaller than a plain fast food hamburger! I asked for it to be medium-rare, It was so overdone the burger was blackened, they also left off the lettuce and onions, it was terrible. By the time I got home and tasted how bad it was I couldn't do anything about it and I threw it away. Service was bad too, I asked them if everything in my order was in the bag and they said yes, I got to my car and checked the bag and noticed they left out the sandwich and I had to go back for it.

Waited a long time for the bar pretzel when we finally got it it was ice cold. We also got empanadas that were very dry. After experiencing that, we decided not to get dinner there. i’m looking at the other reviews and people are complaining about cold and undercooked food.

I have been to both of their locations. The food isn’t that great there and the service is lacking. Servers are slow and not attentive. There are way better smoke houses and the second time i went i ordered the fried chicken sandwich and they served me raw chicken🤢 My waitress was super nice and apologized but that doesn’t excuse the irresponsibility of the chef. I waited really long for the sandwich too for it to be not cooked. UNACCEPTABLE

We tried this place for the first time and it was not what we expected. I ordered the loaded Mac and cheese and I took two bites and couldn’t eat it. The taste was not all that great and the pasta they used to make it was far from what i expected it to be. Definitely will not come back here.

Couldn't eat there cause the hostess was real rude. Idk was gonna order like 6 appetizers but she said itd be a 30 minute wait while I was staring at multiple open tables.

It was my first time there and I was disappointed. Our apps were ok. The brisket empanadas were bland. Buffalo chicken dip with the empanada dough chips was ok but the horseradish was a little over powering. Ordered the mixed platter and the brisket was better. Chicken was cold. Ribs were ok. Beans were sweet and a little undercooked. Broccoli Rabe was good. I ordered a beer and it was so sour even had a vinegar taste. Cornbread was good.

We had a very disappointing take-out order from SmokeHouse Tailgate Grill in Mamaroneck last night. The brisket and ribs were dry and cold. The chicken thigh appetizer was soggy. The pork and beans didn't taste right. We picked our order up early so it wouldn't sit there getting cold and gross but I guess it was destined to be cold and gross either way.

Looks like this place is temporarily closed. There were some renovations or something in progress 11/20/2025 I don't actually rate this place 1 star...
