I went in and ordered one bacon cheeseburger, one cheeseburger and the Bison burger. I had the Bison burger but tried all three. The cheese burgers were really delicious and the bison burger was good. The fries were yummy since they weren't soggy. I will definitely come back next time I'm up here to try other items. The service was great and ordered two beers at the bar while I waited for the order to go.

Still the place for an excellent burger. I've been coming here for many years, but have been gone from the area for a few years. Great to know they still serve great food. Plus, our server was very good, and had a wonderful smile!

What a great find! Located right across from the village. We sat upstairs and there was a ton of seating. The waitstaff was helpful and beyond friendly during the little mini blizzard. I had the sourdough patty melt and it was just outstanding. Sorry no pics, I was starving and it disappeared before I even thought about it.

I've been here maybe a half dozen times over the past few years and the food is consistently great. Notably great are the Veggie Burger and the Chili.

This was recommended to me by the Mammoth Lake Welcome Center park ranger. She said this is a best secret loved by the locals. I ordered the 1/4 pounder buffalo burger, and it was huge, mammoth, I might even say. Very fresh and delicious with crispy fries.

Half order of chili cheese fries without onions and sour cream. Tasty! Burgers were great said my family. I had the beef dip which was very generous and beef was very lean.

The Chilli was so dang good! My bf got the hamburger steak thing with caramelized onion with BBQ sauce Perfection! The fries were exactly how I make my fries- hot and crispy golden brown! The wait staff was really nice and attentive.

My wife and I had dinner and drinks here on our recent ski trip, Andrew made some great Gin Martinis to start. We both had Bison burgers which were flavorful and cooked perfectly. After dinner we had a Masterclass in Kentucky bourbon and Tequila taught by Andrew, super enjoyable evening..

Had the Mammoth Burger last night and I'm sure glad I went with the 1/3 pound burger. Meat was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. You are paying a high price but remember our in Mammoth and prices are high everywhere.

Taste like a homemade burger! Great service and atmosphere. Definitely worth the wait if you have one.

Went last night around 8 pm to place a to go order…our first time there….greeted by 2 young ladies who were so pleasant and sweet. They got our food in 10 min! We got home and it was delicious! Burger was awesome and the turkey sandwich my daughter got was quite good. Will def return! Great service !

Stopped in yesterday requesting met the staff food smells so good good. Ordered it to go. I have special dietary needs and the lady working was so kind and nice and helpful. It made me feel very comfortable ordering ate my delicious food as I shopped around town. Highly recommend.

Nice little place to eat. The food is amazing and the staff are on top of it as well. Every time we are in Mammoth, we always stop here at least once or twice during our visit. We've tried several meals but my favorite is the bison burger. Highly recommend this burger joint. I'm rating the price range around 30-40 per person if you like to have a beer or two with your meal like we do.

I ordered the Asian Sesame salad and half chili fries and they were both huge! I wasn't even able to finish either, but both were really delicious. For the salad, there was no option to choose how I wanted my ahi to be cooked, but I received it rare. The chili fries were a little spicy (I love spice, so it may be too spicy for others). The employees were really kind to still seat us even though they were closing in 20 mins! Plenty of parking outside and it is a very casual diner.

The beef stew with a side salad was sooo good! Vanilla milkshake was excellent, but the vanilla bean in it made it awesome! Burgers ran steep in price, but the fries they come with were perfect. Excellent service!

Solid locals only only Burger joint that you actually get what you're paying for. Very pleasantly surprised! Lady weight person was tremendous. Also very patient with my confused self... But got it right for me!

We were starving and our food came out super fast! The cheese burger was huge and tasty. Filled me up. Kids got the chicken tenders and everyone was satisfied with their choice! Service was great and the milkshake was a good ending to a delicious dinner. The atmosphere was nice, but pretty packed. Nothing fancy just good food and good service!

Let me say that these were the best burgers I've had on a long time. The food is fresh. If your hungry upgrade you burger to the Mammoth, which is a double patty, had the Bison Burger one day and later in the week had the bacon cheeseburger, Mammoth style. These burgers are delicious I highly recommend.

Great spot in mammoth lakes! I was looking for a great burger and found it! Customer service was friendly and the food came out pretty quick too! You get alot of food for the price which is nice! Burger had alor of flavor and the fries too!

I've been waiting quite a while for Burgers to reopen after the Pandemic and extensive renovations they underwent--they added a second floor. Finally went for lunch the other day. Ordered a 1/3 lb cheeseburger with Swiss. Burger and seasoned fries were very good. My server was excellent and brought out my order pretty quickly. Bar and big screen TVs upstairs are a nice feature. I'll definitely be going back!

We are Mammoth locals and this has been a family favorite for decades. We always get milkshakes and this week finally tried their house special dessert too, the mud pie… wow… huge and delicious! Thank you Burgers for graciously hosting a big group from Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra!

Had a burger and beer here and it was really good. Food came out quick as well. The hosts were a little awkward and hard to understand (audibly) but friendly.

Love this place. My favorite restaurant in Mammoth. Burgers are solid and the bbq sauce is tasty. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. We prefer the open seating upstairs where sports games are on the tvs.

Great food and friendly service, very attending and fast with your request. Bison burger and mammoth margarita is a bomb, nice kids options and plenty of seating on 2 floors. Definitely will be back next time we coming to town!

Great location and service in Mammoth This has become a regular spot for us whenever we are in Mammoth. While the burgers aren’t our personal favorite and the prices are on the higher side, there are plenty of other reasons why we keep going back. The location is hard to beat, and having free parking in Mammoth is a huge plus that makes things very convenient. The service is also consistently awesome; the staff is always friendly and attentive even when it’s busy. What we’ve tried: Tennessee Mules: Our favorite—highly recommend these if you’re looking for a good drink. Mac n Cheese: A massive hit with the kids; they love it every time. Chicken Wings (BBQ): Solid and flavorful. Chili Cheese Dogs: Good standard option for a quick bite. Even though the burgers didn't quite hit the mark for us, the atmosphere, the drinks, and the kid-friendly options make it worth the visit. It's a reliable staple for our mountain trips.

Located directly across from the Village at Mammoth and walking distance to the Westin and lodging around the Village. A must for lunch or dinner, especially after a fun day of skiing / snowboarding!

We came here with a group of 15 people, and everything was fantastic! The service was very friendly, attentive, and organized, they handled our large group with no problem at all. The food was amazing, especially the Bison Mammoth Burger, which was a big favorite at our table. The place was also very clean and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We all enjoyed our visit so much that we’re already planning to come back again next year. Highly recommended!

The name of this restaurant says it all, you are going there for burgers and burgers only. Good selection for carnivores however only one single choice for vegetarian, but that’s a good one with their Veggie melt. Not sure what’s salt/spice they add to the fries but it’s definitely great and give a good flavor. Good selection also of beers and -surprisingly - of wines. Definitely a great spot also to accommodate large groups, service is nice and fast.

This is a great spot to hang right after a long day on the mountain. It's across the street from the village gondola and bus stop,, very convenient. Great staff and food, we were stuffed from the Mammoth burgers and i had a side of delicious warm tortilla chicken soup.

Great burgers and great prices! We visited October 12, 2024 and had the regular hamburger and a cheeseburger. They included a mountain of fries and a pickle spear. Exceptional burgers! These folks know how to make a burger. Plus we'd been out all day and just needed water to drink and we didn't get a bother over it. Much appreciated!

These burgers are mammoth! So many fries definitely can't eat it all! I had the mammoth with cheddar cheese pineapples and grilled onions It was great combination! The hot wings were fantastic as was the patty melt! We talked to the owner he said that the place has been a business for 52 years and they hand grind the meat every day! The patties were so fresh perfectly pink in the middle. The value was certainly beyond Our expectations! Great job!!

Very good food. Of course I ordered a cheeseburger with onion rings. The cheeseburger was very good. The 1/3lb ground beef tasted fresh and juicy. Besides the meat what really made this burger stand out was the sesame bun. It was toasted to perfection. There was a crunch to the bun in every bite. The Onion Rings were sweet and crispy with a smooth texture. Wife got a grilled chicken sandwich that she loved with a toasted bun. This place started to get very busy so I knew it was going to be good.

Got the patty melt. Fantastic. Try the bbq sauce.

Service was great. The gals were attentive, and the food came out pretty fast. Drinks, fries, onion rings, and BBQ sauce were pretty tasty. Tuna melt and beef stew were terribly under seasoned and tasteless. Mammoth burger was under seasoned but not bad. Salads were pretty ok, ribs were good. I would come back but stick to the easy stuff.

Burgers has been a family tradition for years, almost since the restaurant opened. It's usually the one time we eat out during a week of camping. Prices are decent, if a little high, but the food is great. Never had anything bad on the menu. Restaurant seating area is fairly small, but the tables are movable to easily accommodate several parties of 7 or more (9 on our latest trip). Service was excellent on our last trip (7-29-2016), with several staff helping with getting drink refills, etc. Beat the dinner time crowds by getting there before 6.

After a day of skiing the hunger sets in. My family made a stop in at Burgers for dinner. 1st floor is typical wait list service. We ate upstairs which is first come service and a bar. The bar staff was friendly and professional. The drinks were well poured, the food was delicious and plentiful. I recommend the ribs and chicken it was great. Located across from the village, IMO its bit pricey for a burger joint, like on the hill, but food was good.

Stopped in for food before leaving town. Ordered a bison burger and fries, with onion rings to share. Bison burger was good, a touch try, but flavorful. Fries and rings were also tasty, crispy and not soggy. Nothing stood out as being exceptional, but nothing was a disappointment. Would stop by again if I was in the area and craving a burger.

Updated because Burgers did better last time. Regretfully, that was a couple months ago, so can't give specifics.... Review from February 2024: Is it just me, or are the patties smaller than they used to be? So went there 3 times in less than a week. Patty melt was great, cooked perfectly, and love the onion rings. Nonplussed by the tuna melt (would not recommend). And bison burger was overcooked twice. Second time waitress didn't bother to ask how it was. Oh well

First Visit. We made a reservation and were glad we did as they were quoting 45 minute wait time when we arrived at 6pm on a Thursday. Parking was also little rough. Fairly boisterous atmosphere filled with a variety of tables, both large and small. Lots of families with kids. Food was great. Wife had a burger and I had hot pastrami sandwich. Pastrami was lean and both were delicious. The house mustard is superb...with a splash of horseradish. Fries were great-steak fry size, crisp on outside and lightly seasoned. Salad was better than expected for a burger joint.

A very cute simple American food restaurant, . I got the buffalo wings they were a little dry and I had two wings on the platter that were burnt. The dessert was good and tasted like a homemade carrot cake. The service was good as well the waitress was attentive and very nice.

Update: prices seem high but the quantity and quality of the food is right in line 2018: Flavorful burgers that taste great even without needing to add a ton of toppings. And don't worry, unlike their burger logo next to the entrance, they don't actually put the cheese underneath the burger :-) 🍔

Pretty decent burger and salad. Milkshake was great. For gluten free folks they share a frier for fries with other stuff, so you're more limited on what you can order. Great the servers know this though. Also, somehow they don't have American cheese in a burger restaurant.

Pretty good food, and of course kinda pricey as much of Mammoth restaurants are. We had turkey sandwich with side salad, bbq turkey sandwich with side salad and burger with fries. Burger was good, but basic and fries were good. Turkey sandwiches were OK, but missing something. I wished I had gone with a club or blt so there would be more freshness on it. Side salad was really great. Good size and very fresh and tasty. Red onion was perfect-sweet and delicious. Seating doenstairs and up made nice atmosphere and some view. I'd recommend, but not rave about it.

Great place to dine. Plenty of indoor seating. Meals are all around $18 , which is a bit pricey. Pulled pork sandwich was good and a large salad came with it. Would share the meal next time. Great bar menu. Including Italian beer!

My only complaint about the food was that the servers do not ask you how you want your burger cooked. So both of ours were very charcoaled and very well done. Kinda ruined what could have been an outstanding burger. They offer beef, turkey and vegan burgers. Swiss or cheddar cheese and an assortment of extra toppings. We had bacon which was really tasty. It came with a very generous serving of French fries or you could get a salad. It had lots of lettuce, large slice of tomatoes and great tasting pickles. They go over everything that goes on the burger, including 1000 Island dressing and asking if you want it. But they don't ask how you want it cooked! We had a slice of apple pie with vanilla bean ice cream! The service was good.

The name says it all. I know that's cliché, but it's true. While they offer excellent salads and sandwiches, the hamburgers are fantastic. I am especially fond of the buffalo burgers which, even though leaner and not as juicy as cattle meat, are very flavorful and are complemented by fresh toppings. I like the twist of offering Thousand Island dressing for the fries! They get busy and you might have some waiting for service, but the staff are friendly.

Really nice, I had grilled veggies and loved all the different bits and bobs (garlic bread, baked potato and salad). The actual grilled veggies seemed undercooked and underwhelming, but I enjoyed myself and the rest of the plate was delicious and 10/10. Wish there was cheese in the baked potato and maybe slightly smaller portions overall, but otherwise I would recommend this place and hope to return.

Went on a friends reccomendation. Spent $68 for 2 people, two entrees two drinks. Food was average but not really worth the price for me. Atmosphere...diner. servers were nice. Just expected the meals to be better.

Had the basic Cheeseburger and subbed salad for fries. It was fine, but not for the price they get. Not noticeably better than Wendy's, and then the bill comes! Good place to watch sports and drink beer, but the beer isn't a bargain either. All in all, if you need to eat, you'll be fine here if you don't mind the bill.

This place is good for quick bites. I went during dinner time and it was bit crowded. There was a group of 6-8 boys who were bit loud. We have ordered Tuna Sandwich and Chicken salad. As a side got salad and fries. Sandwich bread was stale, and was not at all happy with the item delivery. Chicken was good and fries were excellent. Overall not happy.

Lively upstairs atmosphere but food is mediocre. For a place called Burgers, you'd think the burgers would be better. But we realized they didn't ask us how we wanted them cooked (medium rare, medium, etc.) And we were served medium well hockey pucks. Since we prefer medium rare this was quite a mismatch. The salad included with the meal was also brought out at the same time as all the main entrees. Service was friendly but slow and inattentive. Beer selection surprisingly plain.

It’s decent. Nobodies favorite burger. Don’t get the patty melt, it’s a thin sandwich bread that’s toasted. Not grilled Texas toast. But cocktails were good.

The chili and dry rub wings were hot and fresh. But they both have a very strange, awful and sweet cinnamon flavor. The burgers were disappointing for a restaurant named Burgers. The Mammoth burger was not mammoth at all, was flame broiled was flavorless. The broiled chicken, salads and fries were good. The baked potato was overcooked and wet. Make sure you bring your own napkins. Everytime we asked for napkins they brought one per person. There was one server who did really well when we arrived and the place was busy. But seemed to forget about us when things slowed down.

I know everything is a little more expensive in vacation destination areas but this was pricey for what we got. food was very average salad was like 16 bucks and was the best part of the meal but it was supposed to be a shrimp salad and had maybe 6 pieces of shrimp. burger was dry the beef dip was flavorless. I don't like leaving bad reviews especially when I have only been somewhere once. service was good and friendly. my dad eat here a couple days before and said it was good.

The food was quick, but it didn't have the quality we received at other places in Mammoth. I asked for "dressing on the side" for my ahi tuna salad. It came with a side of dressing and dressing already smothered all over the tuna. There was no way for me to even taste the tuna because of all of the dressing (which I didn't care for anyways, which is why I always ask for it on the side in case it's full of corn syrup). My husband's fries were dried out and over done as if sitting in the kitchen under a heater for a long time, waiting to be ordered. My salad came out in a huge service bowl. This left a whole lot of salad with a little bit of tuna and very little else. The staff were friendly, just super disappointed in the food.

A place called Burgers should try and make better more flavorful burgers. The Bacon Cheeseburger was mediocre. Tasted like the burger was quickly heated up, and it took only about two minutes to receive our food would validate this assumption. The fries were warm, but definitely not fresh. The bison Burgers was flavorless, a few of us tasted it, and no seasoning. The service was great and kudos on that aspect. From my perspective trying to make quick food rather than great food.

My boyfriend’s burger didn’t have any buns, my black bean patty was burned, the products are cheap because my cheese looked PLASTIC, and the bun (that had no condiments even though it was apart of my order) just fell apart, NOT worth the price! You’re better off getting a burger from Carls Jr.

Food was very basic. I ordered a burger and should’ve seen the red flags as soon as they didn’t ask me how I wanted it cooked despite burgers being the main menu item. My burger was very dry and honestly tepid. My mother is vegetarian and ordered the vegetable skewers. Firstly, hers came missing both the side it was supposed to come with, and the sauce to go on the skewers. Hers was dry, burnt, and cold. Will not be returning. I’d recommend going anywhere else in mammoth as this is the only place we’ve been disappointed.

We have been coming here for years, this is our last visit. We got totally ripped off. The four of us all ordered a burget in some configuration. Mine was a $25 bison burger. There was no meat in the burgers. Seriously, I have eaten here on numerous occasions and never , ever had such a skimpy offering. To make the sandwich appear full, they stuck in a huge piece of lettuce. The french fries were just warm. To make matters worse, it was my wifes choice for her birthday… We were all so looking forward to a substantial burger. Shame on you guys. The server, however, was a sweetheart, so we just paid and left. Its not her fault..,

Low quality food. We all had four separate dishes all the dishes (burgers, pulled pork, beef dip etc) tasted like they just used a bunch of frozen food. Their fries were straight out of the freezer and into the fryer. Our waitress was nice and the only good thing were the onion rings. Overall, I would recommend not to dine at this establishment.

Very underwhelming selection of burgers for a place who’s name is burgers. Opted for the pastrami sandwich which beat the sourdough melt and regular burger by a mile. Would be a 10/10 if they had some creativity on the menu or had any competition in town.

Had the chili burger and fries and onion rings. They were ok. The chili was pretty good and the fries and onion rings were ok. The staff was nice and the atmosphere was lively. The one thing that stuck out to me that was odd and disappointing was that they have a 3% charge on credit cards if it was used. What's the point of that? Passing costs onto customer? Why not just go cash only then and state that?

our server was very kind and professional. I didn't get his name. he was tan with a lot of arm tattoos. I got the Short rib sandwich and fries. The sandwich was ok. just short rib on bread. the fries were too dry. they tasted like they were reheated. over seasoned too, which made them taste drier.

Burgers are not charcoal cooked and the side dishes are subpar.Bison burger is delicious although the bread is unbearable! For the half pound burger the meat was tasteless and the sliced bread was awful! No available dessert although was prominently featured.No posted schedule . An unpredictable service.Only Indoors tables and really poor water quality.

Not impressed. It's terribly expensive-terribly, the food was not any good, and the customer service was a giant disappointment. Oh goodness, the customer service... I truly cannot remember the last time we had such a rude/brash waitress, and her service skills were a hot mess. She forgot so much of the order and she was just unpleasant. It was so bad... Six of us were smashed into a tiny table, and it was a long wait for our order as well. I ordered the pastrami sandwich and cheese fries. Not good. The cheese fries were unappetizing: cold, old tasting fries with shredded cheddar half-melted/broiled on. I couldn't even eat them. No one in our party could. The sandwich was a giant disappointment as well. Out of all six of us, no one finished their meal. I need not say anymore. I'd give it a hard pass.

For two mediocre cheeseburgers and two cokes our total was $50.12. Extremely overpriced for poor quality food with very thin meat patties. Service was good and staff was pleasant. To be honest Carl’s JR has food that tastes better.

Terrible food and even worse service. They are not attentive. Ordered food, it came out wrong. And stale. Fries were undercooked and stale/soggy all at the same time somehow. And seasoning just dumped on half of them sloppy so the other half were cold and unseasoned. Bread on burger was stale. Grilled onions were steamed barely even cooked. Waitress never came back to check on us. Drinks never refilled. And waited 20 minutes for our check, which we had to ask twice for. Mind you we came after lunch hours in between to avoid the crowds. We finally voiced our concerns to what seemed to be the owner or manager of the place, and she responded very sharp and agitated at us "well why didn't you say anything" like we were the problem. We expressed how we would have if we would have been checked on. Then later she comes back and snatches the bill and curtly says "you don't have a bill" and storms off. No apology, and just attitude as if it's my fault our experience sucked. Now I appreciate them handling it, but I wasn't looking to not pay my bill. I was simply not looking for poor service and low quality. None of that was our fault, however when brought to light you'd think this would be handled better in order to improve future business. Just poor execution all around. Disappointed.

I was so disappointed, as I gave this place a second chance. I ordered this time as you can see from the pictures the ‘bison steak burger’ to me it looks like a patty burger, no way a steak burger, dry as a bone, flavorless, smothered in onions to hide the over cooked flat patty. You can’t cook Bison that way!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I originally ordered baked potato to go with it & it was not cooked fully, and she told me they were all like that, so she replaced it with fries. Garlic bread, one side cooked the other side not even grilled. The salad, was OK because of the dressing? And I spent $29 with TX plus a tip for a burger, won’t be going back again. I’ll stick to my normal restaurants that I go locally. They weren’t even that busy. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hello everyone. I was starving so decided to go for burgers 🍔 They have “all you need” food. As you can see, inside was soo cold, need beenie when you eat here during winter season. Crazy 🙃 but first, I ordered coke, clearly said NO ICE, Waiter brought it and threw it onto table without words and of course with ice. When I call her to fix it, almost she ate me her eyes. Never seen that perfect rounding eyes like that lady. What an insolence. That is a RED FLAG 🚩 to be honest after that I had one think in my mind, get out. But I stayed and tried food. Food was really good. Bison burger was blast 💥 probably I will never get back here because of rude waiter.
