Opinions de Mammoth Brewing Company Mammoth Lakes
The beer is amazing. I had the kolsh, it was super smooth and perfectly balanced taste. Need to try the year of bear a fabulous stout 😄
Comfortable atmosphere inside and outside. 2nd floor looks out into Mammoth. Yosemite Pale Ale is very smooth - super easy to take several gulps a pull. Brewery is at 8,000 ft so drink plenty of water. The philly cheese steak sandwich is amazing - tender beef and flavorful sauce. Dog friendly, much of Mammoth is.
Good food and good brews but the contactless ordering system is kind of a pain. You can go order at the counter inside though so that made it easier to deal with. Highly recommend the Double Nut Brown Ale and a burger. Others in our party enjoyed the peach and goat cheese flatbread.
This place is a brewery with the best food choices hands down. Get the "Damned good Burger" and you won't be disappointed!! You can get a flight of their custom beers for 9 bucks and it's well worth it!! One of the beers is a non-alcoholic root beer and is amazing, but the best is the "Double Nut Brown" beer which has blends of chocolate and coffee. If you are on the fence about going, GO!
very friendly atmosphere, we had the mac and cheese, it was delicious, we also had the bbq chicken Flatbread pizza very tasty. We also met the owner, super nice person, last but not least we had the in house Rootbeer ❤️, got ourselves a crowler of rootbeer to go, most definitely will go there in the future
I can’t drink because of health issues, but that didn’t affect my experience at all. I was very impressed by my first visit here. I had the Imperial Root Beer, which was amazing. Seriously the best root beer I’ve ever had. They do growler fills which I passed on today. Definitely checked to see if they sold it by the can. Maybe eventually, though I understand it’s not likely one of their money makers. The Damn Good burger melted my face in the best way possible. It read like too much in the descriptions, but all the fixings marry perfectly and compliment each other well. The cook on the patty was excellent: not dry at all, nice & juicy. Easily one of the best composed burgers I’ve had in a while. Great atmosphere, stellar customer service. I’ll be back for more root beer and to try other menu options.
Lots of room so walking in your board boots with heavy clothes is not a nuisance. Good beer and decent food (the cheesesteak sandwich and burger are recommended). Some appetizers are a little bland. Beer flights come in sevens. The food and beer are about 4-4.5 stars thanks to my local LA bias, but I give 5 because this is a good spot for the area, especially after spending the day on the mountain.
The best tacos we’ve had all holiday (4 weeks) We were initially given a table downstairs, but it’s cosier and less television orientated upstairs. I tried and failed to use the QR system to order. Thankfully, Matt at the bar happily helped and took my order. Churros for dessert was ‘ interesting’ . But huge portion and tasty.
One of our regular spots in Mammoth. Very dog friendly. They’ve improved their outdoor area. Added picnic benches that are well-spaced for COVID. And now you can scan a QR code at your table to order. It’s an online ordering system where you can pay with Apple Pay and have delivered to your table.
We came here before our dinner reservation. It’s a very nice local brewery. We came from San Diego so we love local beers. I am not really a beer lover, so I ordered a cherry sour. It was delicious. I recommend it who doesn’t like drinking normal beers. My husband had a IPA, he enjoyed it. The brewery has 3 floors, they also serve food. The bottom floor is underground, there are a pool table and a shuffle board down there.
If you’re going to Mammoth Brewing Company and The Eatery on a trip to Mammoth mountain, I strongly recommend the Pork Belly Tacos. They have corn tortillas as an option if you’re trying to limit gluten, although there is a note that the pork belly already has gluten. The Slow Roasted Pork Belly Tacos ($12) come with two tacos, you have a choice of Naan Bread or Corn Tortillas, and they come with Caramelized Red Onion, Cucumber, Chili Honey Sauce, and Pico de Gallo. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and when there is good weather in the summer, expect to wait in line for an outdoor table, but it is pretty quick if you are OK with sitting in the air-conditioning inside. They also have a free parking lot right next door, and the outdoor patio is dog friendly. You order from your table, and they have separate QR codes for both the drink menu and the food menu. The drinks come very quickly, and they include an array of offerings, such as beer, wine, and hard kombucha. The food takes a little longer, but a server also brings it to you once it’s ready.
Nice brewery that seems to be very popular. It is a couple blocks away from the village and has it's own parking lot. We originally tried to go on Saturday night but they said they had an hour and 45 min wait to be seated. We tried again on Monday and we walked right in with no wait. Good beer selection and food selection.
We ate here twice during our week visit to Mammoth. Once for drinks and appetizers outside in the sun post skiing and once for a sit-down dinner. Both occasions were delicious and the beer / cider selection is wonderful. The ambiance is cozy, fun and casual and the food is hearty, fresh and filling. We ordered mac 'n' cheese (both times), Brussel sprouts, flat bread pizza and the falafel wrap as well as beer and pear cider. The service was friendly and helpful.
The food at Mammoth Brewing was great! I got the veggie burger (delicious) and my group split the brussel sprouts and sweet potato tots. The interior was cozy as well and there's plenty of parking. The only hiccup we ran into is that the first time we stopped by the kitchen had already closed (I think this was about an hour prior to the establishment closing) so just be mindful of that if stopping by later in the evening.
This is the place for brews and pub grub. There was live music on Sunday when we visited. Super pleasant staff. The 395 IPA is AMAZING. The food is very good. We had Just Fries, Sierra Slaw and Hanoi "Tacos". It was all delicious. Pro tip: if there is live music and you want to talk, you can go inside and still hear the music at a lower volume.
I wasn’t sure what to expect in a more touristy area, but the food and beer here was incredible! Their fish & chips was the best I’ve had. The portions were generous (my husband and I split the fish and chips and it was the perfect amount). Really love their QR code ordering system too! Service was fast and friendly — it was our favorite place for lunch/dinner in the Mammoth Area :)
Great food and food. Ordering is done at your table via an app, which is inconvenient for some, but you can also go to the bars and order in person.
We stopped by here during our stay in Mammoth and were very happy with the quality of beer. The place was busy and they did a great job at getting us our beers in a timely manner. I tried the Pilsner and it ranked right up there with the best. I love the beer can artwork and the view of the mountain outside were perfect for some sunset drinks.
Ok, it was a snowstorm day and I kept my walk short but the stop was worth any second. I sampled 14 beers, one of it non-alcoholic root beer and there was no real disappointment. Being from Austria the locally made Pilsners, Kölsch and so on never leave an impression on me, but the Pale Ales, IPA’s, brown Ales and Sours were top notch. Service was great. I decided to do pork rinds between my samplers. They were great! They were crackling and sizzling at delivery, kept crackling when I dripped lime on it. Simply an amazing experience!
I visit the mammoth brewing because I had been looking for the 395 beer that they offer, usually ik able to find it at vons or Rick's liquor down the way, in the last year's I had no luck so I decided to stop buy and pick up a 4 pack, my friend and I decided to catch a beer and some appetizers. This brewery is awesome. It has an upstairs sitting room and downstairs it also has a bar. The view here, especially when it snows, is awesome. The food that we tried was great 👍🏿. I can not wait to visit this place next time I am in town. The service is awesome and they make it so east to just order and pay for your bill all three your cellphone device. I would highly recommend this place. It is a must try if you are in mammoth.
This place never disappoints. The beer is fabulous, the environment inside or out, is just the best to hang. Played some Cornhole with kids next to us, (kicked their butts btw 🤸), inhaled some pizza, tore apart a classic and delicious burger, (served with pickles!) and we had such a relaxing energy about us. And, when your done, you can just walk around the corner to the Village. Parking is easy peasy across the street, but beware...tables will fill up very fast for the outside seating...but there's plenty inside on their two floors though. So much fun!
Wow beautiful view great service, you order at the bar and they bring it to your table. You can not beat the view. The sweet tots are 10/10. My husband got the damn good burger, we got the kale ceaser as well. Great place great people good food 10/10. The hard kombucha was good. Perfect spot to stop.
This is a great place to stop for a beer and their food is wonderful. We had a great time over the weekend with especially excellent service from Robbie who is both funny and personable, and Dallas who made everyone at the bar feel like they were at home. Thanks mammoth mountain brewery You guys are awesome.
This brewery is very efficient when it comes to ordering, and both the food and beer are excellent. Ordering via QR code is easy and convenient, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The beer flights are highly recommended if you want to try a variety. The flatbread, shrimp, and cheese dishes are well seasoned and flavorful — perfect comfort food for the winter. You don’t need a reservation, but the place is very lively and can get quite busy.
Mammoth Brewing Company is exactly what you want after a day in the mountains: relaxed, welcoming, and full of good vibes. The setup works great — tap room on the first floor for beers and hanging out, with the eatery upstairs serving solid food when hunger inevitably kicks in. Downstairs is especially family-friendly in the early evening, which makes it a rare win for groups with kids who still can get finger foods and fast food. It’s casual, lively without being loud, and easily accommodates medium-size groups without feeling cramped or chaotic. Whether you’re stopping in post-hike, post-ski, or just because “one beer turned into dinner,” it’s the kind of place where time slows down in the best way. Pro tip: Start downstairs with a beer, then head upstairs to eat — it feels like two stops in one, without ever having to leave the building
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mammoth Brewing Company absolutely nailed it. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming—you can tell the team takes pride in what they do. The food? Outstanding. The burger was to die for—perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. Easily one of the best burgers I’ve had, and that’s saying something. Pair that with their great atmosphere and solid lineup of beers, and this place is a must-stop if you’re in Mammoth. We’ll 100% be back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food, great service, and an all-around awesome experience.
In town for a week and went three times! Fantastic place for good food and better brews. The hazy and elderberry sour were fantastic. The homemade root bear is unmatched - the only thing at it could get better is if they sold it to go! Food was great; the Caesar salad and goat cheese flatbread are amazing. Queso is unmatched. Marie is the best server ever - her energy and kindness is hard to miss! Overall the whole experience was 10/10. Highly recommend for people looking for food, drinks, and a fun vibe!
First off: this place ain't cheap! Secondly: they definitely get the food right. The onion rings were terrific with a cornmeal crust. Nice and crunchy like they're supposed to be. The fish and chips again is not cheap but it is real deal fresh fried cod and comes out hot and tasty and crispy and the tartar sauce is definitely worth a shot. We also got the shrimp appetizer which was surprisingly good and not rubbery or any of the other stuff people get away with... This place is definitely worth a stop!
A very unique experience. First of all, if you sit outside, you place your order online through your phone — very modern, and honestly I think it’s a smart way to lighten the load for the staff. That said, the prices feel a bit high for a place where you seat yourself, place your own order without staff interaction, and pay upfront (I’ll never understand how I’m supposed to leave a tip for service that hasn’t even been provided yet). As for the food: the pizza was on the small side — definitely not enough to fill up a hungry guy on its own. But to be fair, it was delicious, no doubt about that. Now, the beer? Absolutely amazing — truly some of the best I’ve had in the state. That alone makes this spot worth checking out. I’d recommend this place for the great outdoor vibe, excellent beer, and tasty pizza. Just keep in mind it’s more of a place for a light bite rather than a full meal.
This place was really good. Plenty of seating indoors and out. The outdoor area lights at night look great. Enjoyed the falafel tacos and veggie burger with side waffle fries. Both good and love rat they had options for non meat eaters. The non alcoholic tap root beer was perfect amount of sweetness with a natural taste. Recommend. Good service too.
Really love this place! Maybe my favorite in Mammoth. We ordered the BBQ chicken flatbread, cheese flatbread and brussel sprouts salad. It was a lot of food and so yummy! The kids loved the root beer and my husband and I enjoyed the pilsner beer. I want to come back to try more beers and food. Tip: there's a pool table downstairs. We had a fun family game after dinner.
Drinks: The root beer is hands down the best thing to drink here. I would definitely recommend it to anybody who likes root beer. Golden Trout Kolsch is a smooth blonde. Love the taste. Contains German noble hops? Pilsner malt, and yeast. Great beer to just chill with. Mammoth Pilsner was good. Can't really taste the honey or Graham crackers, though. The floral definitely helps give it that unique taste. Yosemite Pale Ale was not my favorite of the flights. A little too strong in taste for me. Double Nut Brown Porter was good. The coffee and nutty taste compliments each other and stands out enough to enjoy. Great to consume with food. Epic IPA is a good IPA. Don't really taste the fruit, but it is smooth to drink. IPA 395 taste better than the Epic IPA. The earthy taste is very unique and refreshing to drink. The sage is very prominent in the taste. Hop Spill Hazy is a good IPA. Probably the best IPA here if you are fan of IPA. Peyton's pilsner tropical flavor is subtle but good. Food: The waffle fries here are pretty good when it's fresh. They were able to replaced the bad batch. Worth trying the fries. Staff: All the staffs were nice and friendly. Very helpful with providing information. Overall, I would come back here to try other things. They have the games playing on the televisions. Plenty of seats as well.
Food was delicious, beer was cold and service was great. Went on a mini date after a day at the slopes. Atmosphere was perfect, food and drinks served in a timely manner. Good views even at night. Seating areas and restrooms were clean. We’ll without a doubt return on our next trip to Mammoth!
The best a high caloric place for after snowboarding and they have all I need a nice burger, which is huge and I only can’t finish half next half for next day and their waffle. French fries is amazing extra credit. Also they have their own beers. I don’t know why people gave us such a low review. In my opinion this restaurant supposed to be over 5.7 stars review.
I can’t visit Mammoth without stopping at this awesome brewery! Staff is quick and friendly. The beer is always good. Check out the seasonal list it’s full of gems. And, if you don’t drink they have the best root beer ever! No argument. They have seating inside and outside. Great place for groups. Dogs. Kids. Would highly recommend stopping by.
Pretty good selection toon of beers on tap. Went with the taster of the regular beers. They were all very good. Also tried the taster for the seasonal and wasn’t as impressed with the first three of them. The remainder of the seasonal taster were very good. Downside is the lack of vegetarian food. They were able to make a Philly Cheese Steak, minus the steak, with mushroom and egg instead that was decent. Food is a little pricey but overall good quality.
The beer was fine, the food was meh .. Overall ambience was fine. We had ordered for beer. Some popcorn shrimp and pizza. Popcorn shrimp was fine for a starter with beer. Whereas the pizza wasn't not good. The pizza had a overpowering saunf flavor which none of us appreciated. The ambience was good and we took a outdoor seating. They have a parking space too.
I love how you can go up to the counter and order, tell them your table number, so easy. Also, they have the QR code at the table so you don’t even have to get up to order if you want. also I was so stoked they had a vegan option for us. The falafel on quinoa was so refreshing it was exactly what we needed on this hot Fourth of July. can we talk about their seven dollar waffle fries. It was enough to feed a house at 10 we made it work. We left stuffed and happy. Thanks so much.
This place has a fantastic selection of craft beers, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxing after a day of outdoor adventures. I tried their Mammoth Pale Ale and the Double IPA, both of which were exceptional—hoppy, refreshing, and brewed to perfection. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, helping me choose the best options based on my tastes. The outdoor patio is a great spot to enjoy your drink while soaking in the beautiful mountain views. They also offer a delicious food menu with hearty options that pair perfectly with their brews. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on Mammoth Brewing Company! I can’t wait to come back and try more of their amazing beers!
Good food here all around. A little higher for its prices Would recommend the Mac n cheese. A new favorite for any mac n cheese of the dinner table. The other two dishes were good but too spicy for some to eat- stir fry bowl and flat bread tacos. The quality of the chicken stir fry could have been better. It had a good sauce. Everything was ordered yourself on your mobile with QR code inside.
A mountain sanctuary and a hangout for beer aficionados. They have so many creative beer flavors that will have you coming for more. The restaurant has two stories and Ali’s spacious for large group gathering. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You pick a table and pay at the counter. Then they deliver food to your table number. The food is a typical bar food : burgers, hot dogs, tacos and salads for a healthier crowd. I wish they served hot soups in a winter. They also sell a wide variety of merchandise and souvenirs with their logo and designs. We ordered short rib tacos, bahn me sandwich, grilled chicken salad and a burger. The food was delivered in a zip. The restaurant is ran very efficiently. All of the food was fresh and delicious, the salad had a nice dressing to lettuce ration. Their portions are very generous so consider sharing with a friend. A lovely hang out. It’s our second visit to the brewery and I recommend it if you are in the area.
Matt was amazing!! He not only was a great server but he also answered so many of our questions about local buses and info etc. thanks Matt! Great meatballs and birria tacos and of course yummy beers 🍻 Cheers! The slaw was absolutely delicious too!! Will be back for when we are back in town sure next month!!
Excellent ambience with unique beers and high quality food of large portions. Their 395 IPA is 8 percent which is really strong and surprisingly tasty. The Elderberry Sour is 7% and has a wine/beer combo taste which was really neat. They have a bunch of other options, and it’s cool cause you can order differing volumes, their lowest being 3 oz. They also offer free samples of their beers! As for food: the Damn Good Burger was loved in my group. You have the option to also make it a double, which you may wanna consider since it really was damn good. The Bang n Shrimp is a bowl with PLENTY of shrimp covered in a semi-spicy creamy mayo sauce with a lime to add some zest. This was my favorite dish at our table by far. The Pork Belly Tacos were definitely the least favored, but they were still pretty good. Meat was fully cooked, just not as tasty as the aforementioned dishes. Now for the reason this is 4 and not 5 stars: When we arrived, there was plenty of indoor seating with no wait, but of course when in Mammoth you wanna sit outside for the incredible view and on days when they have live music on the outdoor stage. Naturally, with folks ordering beer and food chatting, seating takes AWHILE to snag. We were told the wait would be 30 mins, but we were there for over an hour. The guy at the front kept adding couples or groups of three to other tables, so naturally a full table took a LONG time to open up… Overall, definitely stop by for flavorful food, good strong drinks, and live music. But anticipate a long wait for outdoor seating.
Good for a great stopover snack grab with a multitude of beer options. We didn't dive into the main menu, but we did get a lot of appetizers and a few beer choices. Beers were good, especially if you like IPAs. Great outdoor seating and a stage for live music. I really great spot. My only issue is ordering through the app instead of having a server who might offer suggestions, recommendations and that personal touch. Overall, I'd come back again.
It's just ok. You have to stand in one line to order your food and then go stand in another line to order a drink. We got there around 3pm and we had to stand in line for at least 15 minutes. Then, they stager your meal (they bring it out when each item is ready, so some eat before others) Food was average, I wouldn't go back just because the style just isn't my thing (especially for the prices...rather high, in my opinion considering I had to wait in line). I'd prefer to sit, enjoy the views, and have a server take my order.
Not sure if we were having an off day or because this was stop 2 of 3 of brewery in an around Mammoth area. With that being said my wife and I weren't really feeling the it here. The brewery itself was nice. Patio outside has plenty of tables for those wanting to catch some sun, but when dirt and melting snow mesh, make sure some good shoes are worn. Food is served here from the EATery located inside. Not sure if they're partnered up or owned by MBC, but food looks amazing (We didn't get any food). We ended up getting a seasonal flight consisting of 7 beers ranging from a session IPA, bock to sours. The wife was partial to the Bluesapalooza Hazy IPA (7%) while I leaned towards the Fire and Eisbock (10%). I didn't care much for the sours, especially the Black Plum sour beer (6.5%). Black Plum seems to be an acquired taste and this sour, personally, is definitely an acquired taste. The other beers in the flight were so-so, and just not our style I guess. Although it's always good to try to get out of your comfort zone, I don't think this was one of those times. Parking is tight due to the fact that Mammoth brewery is consistently busy. Come check it out while in the area.
Everything was great — the beer and food were excellent. Unfortunately, the experience was soured at the end of the night. Around 9:30 PM on 7/13/2025 at table 7, a busboy named Nate cleared away some cookies we had set aside for our kids, separate from the dirty dishes. When I brought it up, he told me I could "just go get more," but it wasn't about the cookies — it was his dismissive tone and attitude that gave off an "I'm just here for a paycheck" vibe. I asked for his name, but it seemed like everyone was covering for him. It left a bad final impression on an otherwise great evening.
Quick Summary Came during a holiday weekend so expected a rush, but didn't realize it would be pretty bad. Difficult to find parking as only a small lot available. Long line to get a table and our food (about 1.5 hours to get seated and get our food). Food was overly sweet (only thing I recommend was the burger). Not sure why it's so crowded here (probably just the location) Food- 3.5 stars Sweet potato tots- this was good. It does taste fresh and not frozen Onion rings- it was decent. Same as above Peach and goat cheese pizza- this had alot of potential, but was very disappointed by how much balsamic they drenched over the pizza. Ended up way too sweet Banh mi- the pork was doused with so much hoisin sauce. It was overly sweet Burger- the burger was pretty good. The ground brisket was so juicy and was the saving star of the meal Steak sandwich- the steak was somewhat tender, but just disappointed by how sweet it was and how difficult it was to pull apart Drinks- 3.5 stars Ordered the seasonal and standard beer flight. The best thing was the root beer, sadly. The beers were a bit mediocre. Service- 3 stars I get that it was a holiday weekend, but it was a very long wait to get a table or our food (and it wasn't like people were lingering at their tables for a long time). Was difficult to flag down wait staff as well Parking- there's a parking lot available and one across the street. Can be difficult to find a spot, especially on weekends Bottom Line I would skip this place on busy weekends if you value your time
We visited on a warm June afternoon and really appreciated the dog-friendly outdoor seating area. I think it could be made a more enjoyable area by adding some kind of trees or barriers to separate you from the busy intersection traffic just steps away. Beers were good and refreshing but nothing stood out to us, nothing we would return for on future visits to the area. We did not try any food, so I can't speak to that. One area we were very disappointed in was service - we went in to look at the menu and place orders and staff didn't greet or seem to want to help. It wasn't really busy so not sure why the ambivalence. Overall it was an ok visit, but we much preferred the other brewery in town.
The beer was fine. The food was fine. I got a caesar salad and Nashville hot chicken fingers. the salad was edible but underwhelming. Im pretty sure half the chicken fingers were not fully cooked. Add the mediocrity to the fact that the kitchen closes so early that visitors cant find food a decent time, and it creates a scenario that I won't go back.
The beer was good, but the food left a bit to be desired. The hot chicken sandwich was dry (maybe switch to a honey hot?) and the shrimp/fries were a bit over cooked or left under a lamp for too long. The burger was great, but didn’t quite make up for needing to order by phone. Dog friendly!!
My kids and i went to dinner around 6pm and ordered from the food QR code. After seeing other people around us get their food, I went to the cashier and they said they never got my order and that this was an ongoing issue with the food qr code (drink qr code worked). They couldn’t find my order at all, so there was no reason to cancel an order that didn’t seem to be placed. I then ordered food through the cashier, and that order was received in a timely manner. Around 2am, I received a message that my qr code food order was ready and I was charged for that too!! We left mammoth the next morning before it opened. They don’t answer their phone and they didn’t reply to an email. Their food and drinks are good but this has been awful customer service.
I was disappointed recently when I ordered a guest hazy. I had ordered the same beer 3 days in a row prior. On a sat here w friends we all ordered the same beer. It came out tasting more like bud lite. A supervisor came out and told us this is just how the beer taste after beer is poured from the bottom of the barrel. Either this guy was lying or the beer was bad. Either way it should not have been served. It was disappointing and for the price we paid I feel they could have done better. I am up in Mammoth quite often as we have a place nearby. I will say the atmosphere is amazing and the staff here is generally super nice and helpful. The food here is super good. I have no complaints about the food at all. I will say the beer is not the reason why I come here. I do think there is better beer in town. Again that atmosphere and location cannot be beat.
Food came out quick and was very delicious but the flight of beer didn’t. It took about 50 minutes and was wondering why it didn’t come out I guess their system didn’t receive the order. All I got was a sorry.
We had a decent experience our first 2 times, but after our 3rd visit, we will not go back. Kids options are extremely limited. Can’t order the Mac n’ cheese because of the beer it’s cooked in. I ordered the burger and it arrived inedible. I’m a fan of medium rare burgers, but this was lightly seared ground beef and complete mush on the inside, it was even cool to the touch. On top of that, you have to order from your phone and then you’re still expected to tip. Severely disappointed from such I highly reviewed brewery.
We came here based on Google reviews. Unfortunately, we did not have same friendly customer service. Food is Good (with exception of lukewarm waffle fries) This is a bar that serves food. You need to know that going in. If you're looking for a place that serves food and also is a bar then maybe this is a place for you. We went in and had to order through a QR code. At the end of the order we were asked how much we would tip. I find it odd to be asked about tip before I’m served or even tasted food. There were 2 of us and after 30 minutes we were served one meal. 15 minutes later the second meal was served. As I said at the start of the review the food was good, but definitely not worth the poor service and food management for a party of 2.
If you are looking for a place where the food is as cold as the beer, then Mammoth Brewing is the place for you. Beer is ok at best. Not enough TV’s and just ok vibes. This establishment lost me after I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak and it was served to me cold not once but twice. I ordered it once and it came out cold. Sent it back to the kitchen and arrived cold again. Thankfully the staff gave me a full refund no questions asked. Safe to say I will never be coming back here.
I was so looking forward to going to this brewery because I love their beer. But I was totally disappointed when I was seated at a table and given a plaque with a QR code to order food with my phone. Then you have to pay on your phone to complete your food order, and are then prompted to leave a 20% tip! Tip for what? No Service what so ever! You then have to get up, stand in line to order a beer, and carry it back to your table, and they want a tip for that, too! What is happening in this world when everyone expects a tip for no service?
Terrible service and experience. 5 tables completely empty and they literally won't let us sit down. All negative attitude from the hostess telling me I haven't worked in a restaurant. If you wont let customers sit down, then you obviously need to move away from QR codes. They need to hire a new hostess that doesn't talk to customers like they're worthless. Everyone is busy and understaffed - you have to learn to evolve your processes and systems. I'll happily take my business elsewhere.
June 21 4:08 pm before the Dinner rush. I ordered a burger which took just over a half hour, and when sent to the table fries cold ,Burger was barely warmed slightly under cooked. I had to nurse my Brew since I wanted to enjoy with my Burger. The bartender refunding my money disrespected me telling me that this wasn't no Carl's Jr or fastfood and usually takes 20 min ,is why I was there in the first place. The burger looked like a commercial round patty and not that tasty. Weak bar food is what the message sent.OVERRATED FOR SURE. NOT WORTH THE VISIT FOR FOOD
Burger was cold, beer tasted watered down, I saw at least 3 bugs around the building. Overall bad experience. Parking lot hawk made us drive away as soon as we finished our meal since their parking lot is "private" despite there being at least 30 empty spots
AWFUL. Awful cooking quality and awful timing. Food took 50 minutes to come even though it wasn’t very crowded. My husband’s food came 15 minutes before mine, and my in-laws food came 5 mins before. My mother-in-law’s burger was super burned and when they re-cooked it, it was very well done even though she asked for medium-rare. My hotcakes were slightly burned and dry. My chicken was also questionable as to whether or not it was safe to eat.
Very rude staff that made me feel like I was being used just for my money. Parking lot guard felt the need to make borderline inappropriate statements to me and my younger daughter. I’m sure the food normally would be fine but it simply took too long so we missed our ski time.
Food - descent. Service - non existent. The default tip when you pay is 20% but the waitstaff won’t even bring you water. When you ask they point you to a self service station. You want napkins? You have to get up and get those too. To-go boxes for your food, you guessed it, get up and get it. Yet they want 20% tip? They literally just bring the food that you have to order for yourself via QR code. That’s it. I’m surprised they don’t make you go to the kitchen and cook your own food.
